- MISS WOOD – Returned from a break in good form and was runner-up in a handicap hurdle at Compiègne over this distance on 12 March. Can contest the finish again.
- NIKKALUOKTA – Not disgraced in his only start of the year when fourth in a Group 3 hurdle over this track and trip on 2 March. Can contest the finish.
- LA ROULADE – Bounced back to form when runner-up in a Conditions hurdle at this track over 3500m on 8 March. Not out of it
Summary: LORD BRETT (2) has been very good so far. He sets the standard and is fit and ready to go one better over this track and trip. DIAMOND DU BERLAIS (1) has yet to win a race, but she has been Group 2 placed and could be a lively danger. SHALAA DANCER (4) did not show her best over this course and distance last month but is capable of getting into the thick of things. MISS WOOD (5) returned from a break in good shape and has a winning chance.

- SUROIT – A faller last time out at Cagnes-sur-Mer over 4600m on 5 January. Battling to find best form, and others are preferred.
Summary: PISTACHE DORE (4) fough it out with a decent rival before going down in defeat in his first chase. He can go one better if confirming that form. METASEQUOIA (5) showed plenty of talent in 2023 but is returning from a lengthy break and his fitness will need to be taken on trust. KING CONTI (3) has good form at this track but is also returning from a short break. KAPACA DE THAIX (2) is fit and in very good form so deserves the utmost respect.

- LES MOTS BLEUS – Holding form and was fourth in a Conditions chase at Loudéac over 4200m on 16 March. Can earn some minor money.
- EMPIRE STORY – Yet to win a race and probably needed the last run when 8th in a Conditions hurdle at Angers over 3800m on 22 March. Needs major improvement to win.
Summary: A very competitive lucky last race and anything can happen. ZARFLIGHT (6) was not disgraced in a chase last time out and will like it over the smaller obstacles and gets a narrow vote to score. MAMIX’S PASSION (1) ran in better races than this last year and should be a serious threat returning from a break. DOCTOR SQUEEZE (3) is not reliable but did enough last year to have a winning chance in this line-up. JOST (5) has improved this year and is one of many more that can win.

C1 – PRIX HORSE WINNER – 2150m (a1m1/4) – Class F Race – Harness – EUR € 21,000
- KENNY NELGER – Handy sort making first appearance since running 3rd of 13 in a 2850m Carentan Class D last August and will need the race
- KENAVO HERBLINAIE – Showed he is close to his best when 3rd of 14 in a 3300m Chartres Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Nicely-placed in front and looks the one to beat this time
- KYMI JACK – Placed 3rd in last 2, most recently a 2725m Lisieux Class E a week ago. Handed an excellent spot behind the car and looks competitive for a spot on the podium
- KORRIGAN SIBEY – Lost his action in final stages of a 2700m Class E at Le Croise-Laroche late-February, coming 6th of 7 finishers. Ideally-placed in front and with hind shoes off should not be overlooked
- KING’S RETURN – Lost his action, on return to competition, in a 2675m Lisieux Class F mid-March. Runs barefoot this time but others still preferred
- KILLER D’ENFER – 7th of 9 in a 2550m Class F at Gournay-en-Bray on 23 March. Races barefoot this time but still not a concern
- KNOW EVER – Lost his action on return from a spell in a 2500m Class F at La Rochelle 3.5 weeks ago. Starts wide but is on the front row and if applied will have a lot to contribute
- KANON OXFORD – Placed at Amiens prior to running 6th of 16, a place behind KARAMEL DIDO (11), in a 2675m Lisieux Class F mid-March. Pitted against a tougher bunch this time and the wide draw will do little to improve his prospects
- KOEUR DE VANILLE – Won a 2700m Class F at Le Croise-Laroche 10 days ago only to be subsequently sanctioned. Will still have progressed for the run though and on better behaviour can impose, legitimately
- KENTUCKY SCARLET – Ran 3rd at Nantes before securing a 2575m Saint-Brieuc Class F on 16 February. Sports same configuration and is unlikely to disappoint
- KARAMEL DIDO – Has 2 races under his belt since the break, latterly 6th of 9 finishers in a 2450m Caen Class F last week. Has placed just once in 3 left-handed starts but can put on a good show if he takes to the new profile
- KARLITO DU CAMPDOS – 9th of 16 in a 2700m Class F at Le Croise-Laroche 10 days ago. Shoes on and no threat
- KICK UP GEDE – Last but one in a 2850m Laval Class E 3 weeks ago. Failed to fire on lone Mauquenchy start and can be ruled out
- KIF DE LA BRETTE – In the frame in last 2, most recently 3rd of 12 in a 2500m Reims Class F mid-March. Takes on a better lot this time but is clearly in form and will have his supporters
- KASHMIRE TONIC – Won a 2700m Graignes Class F on re-entry late last month, on first start since December. Handed a rough draw but absolutely has the class to figure prominently at the business end of the race
- KRONOS – Takes first competitive steps since finishing last of 9 in a 2450m Caen monte Class D last June and poses no danger
Summary: Back in business since starting to race in his current configuration, KENAVO HERBLINAIE (2) benefits from a fine entry here and Sébastien Ernault gets the nod. He will still be keeping an eye on the less-favourably-drawn KOEUR DE VANILLE (9) who won last time out only to lose the race in the stewards’ room, and the dependable KASHMIRE TONIC (15) who won at Graignes on his first start since Christmas. KYMI JACK (3) has turned a corner recently and from the 3-spot will be no pushover.

C2 – PRIX DE LA COMMUNAUTE DE COMMUNES – 2150m (a1m1/4) – Class E Race – Harness – EUR € 24,000 - JUPITER DU PERCHE – Runner-up in last 2, most recently over 2300m at Mons on 18 March. Takes on a better bunch this time but runs barefoot and has references here. One to watch
- JAZZIE DE BERLES – 11th of 15 in a 2100m Vincennes Class D on 9 February. Reliability not her strong suit but enjoys a good draw and will be no pushover if she replicates her January performance
- JEALOUS GIRL – 5th of 16 behind JACKPOT D’ORGUEIL (13) in a 2700m amateurs Class G at Le Croise-Laroche 11 days ago. Takes on a better lot this time and chances limited
- JERICHO VEDAQUAIS – Quality element making first start since being sanctioned in a 2675m Class E at Le Mont-Saint-Michel last July. Debuts for new trainer but stays shod and best to monitor this time
- JOADIE WIND – Faulted early, coming 7th of 11 finishers in a 2825m Class F at Le Croise-Laroche 10 days ago. Has bags of ability though, enjoys a good draw, and if behaved can trot her way into the frame
- JASON BLUE – Pleasant 7th of 11 finishers in a 2875m Meslay-du-Maine on 18 March. Ability is not in question and will not be far off the mark if Sébastien Ernault keeps him focused
- JOYEUX NONNA – 6th of 18 on re-entry in a 2450m Caen Class E last week. Is still in conditioning-mode and best to hold off
- JUST D’ACADIE – Last but one, on return to competition, in a 2100m Vincennes Class D a fortnight ago. Hails from a stable in form and from the front row can figure prominently
- JESSY DE DAUX – Runner-up to JOISO POKER PRO (14) here before running away with a 2700m Graignes Class F 11 days ago. Steps up in category and not ideally-drawn but must still be retained
- JAZZ – 4th of 11 in a 2700m Class F at Le Croise-Laroche a month ago only to be subsequently sanctioned. Is clearly in decent shape, has never been beaten in the day’s configuration, but still no more than a minor place prospect
- JADESKA – Unthreatening 6th of 13 in a 2200m Caen Class E on 10 March. Is significantly better than that though and in spite of the wide draw must still be respected
- JET BESP – Makes first appearance since running 4th of 16 in a 3150m Saint-Brieuc monte Class E early-December. Shoes on and not a priority
- JACKPOT D’ORGUEIL – 3rd of 16 in a 2700m amateurs Class G at La Capelle on 23 March, not having raced since last May. Steps up in category but runs barefoot and will have his supporters
- JOISO POKER PRO – Won over 2850m here prior to being sanctioned in a 2875m Enghien Class E 3 weeks ago. Is never easy to gauge but form is sure and can contest the finish if Erno Szirmay keeps him trotting
- JAPONICA – 11th of 16 on comeback in a 3200m Fougeres Class F on 23 March. Pads fitted this time and will have few friends
- JEAN DES GLENAN – Impressive 3rd of 14 in a 2200m Caen Class E on 6 March despite being denied a run. Should be at peak fitness by now and can return to winning ways if Guillaume Martin successfully negotiates the start
Summary: Eye-catching on his return to the harness code at Caen last month, JEAN DES GLENAN (16) comes here fresh and even though handed a shocking draw, can wrap this up. Breaking just 2 places away, JOISO POKER PRO (14) comfortably imposed here late-February and with application, can apply the pressure. On the front line, but forced to start wide, JUST D’ACADIE (8)is shod to preference and will be a tough nut to crack if focused. JOADIE WIND (5) has previously won at the venue and, barefoot for the occasion, can play a leading role.

C3 – PRIX DES ETABLISSEMENTS FREULET – 2850m (a2m) – Class F Race – Harness – EUR € 27,000 - IASELMA – Showed improvement when 4th of 18 in a 2675m Class F at Le Mont-Saint-Michel on 9 March. Shod as she was at Vincennes and while not a priority, should not be ruled out either
- ILDO DU VIVIER – Unplaced in last 2, latterly last of 16 in a 2200m Caen amateurs Class G a fortnight ago, after enduring a rough trip. On front line here and can get a look-in if kept out of trouble
- HAKIRI PURPLE – Lost his action on comeback in a 2825m Chartres Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Is barefoot this time but still has too much to do
- IN PETTO – Ran 3rd at Cherbourg before coming 4th of 15 in a 2825m Chartres Class F 2.5 weeks ago. On front line again and will be expected to play an active role
- HALIZAROSA – 3rd of 16, on return to competition, in a 2675m Class E at Châtillon-sur-Chalaronne a month back. With application, and in similar condition, can get in on the action
- IDEE MELOC – 9th of 11 finishers on re-entry in a 2825m Class F at Le Croise-Laroche 10 days ago. Barefoot this time but still not a player
- HAMLET STAR – Starts for first time since being pulled-up in a 3000m Nantes monte Class F late -January. Reverts to a previous formula but still not a concern
- HAMILTON DU NOYER – Unraced since being pulled-up in a 2700m Class F at Le Dorat last August and can be confidently disregarded
- IVAJALE – One-paced 10th of 12 in a 2500m Reims Class G mid-March. Goes barefoot this time, enjoys a good entry in front, but may be taking on too much
- ILIO MANNETOT – Sanctioned in a 2700m Vincennes Class C a fortnight ago. Has won twice here over recent months however and a 3rd victory is well within his capacity
- FAKIR DE VILLODON – Lost his action in a 2850m Laval Class F early-February. Has not been since and racing shod will do him no favours
- HARDY DES LANDES – 10th of 15 behind IN PETTO (4) in a 2825m Chartres Class F on 16 March and is not about to stir things up
- GREAT ROCK – Won 2 in a row before running 2nd of 14 in a 2925m Cagnes Class E a month back. Entrusted to Gabi Gelormini this time and despite the handicap can wrap this up
- HELECHO – Sanctioned, on first start since the spell, in a 2850m Laval Class E 3 weeks ago. Has ample ability but would be preferred differently-shod
- INVICTUS DE HOERDT – Imposed on return to competition, easily securing a 2800m Strasbourg Class F on 9 March. Won over shorter here during the autumn and must be respected
- IRMYLA DE SOMMAIRE – Unsupported when sanctioned in a 2100m Vincennes Class E last Friday. Sanctioned on lone appearance here and is unlikely to cause an upset
- HIDALGO DE VARENNE – Ran 2nd at Cherbourg before faulting in a 2750m Toulouse Class E a week ago. Races barefoot this time though and, considering the entry, must be considered a decent first-5 chance
- INDIEN DE FONTAINE – Sanctioned when preparing for this in a 2700m Vincennes ridden Class C on 18 February. Appreciates the Mauquenchy profile, is well-engaged here, and with application is not going to be far off the mark
Summary: An exceptional campaigner that took not time getting back in the game after his lengthy break, GREAT ROCK (13) has form here and will take some beating. He will still face resistance though from ILIO MANNETOT (10) who excels at Mauquenchy, and INVICTUS DE HOERDT (15) who got straight down to business at Strasbourg early last month. Hard to knock on a good day, and very much at home here, INDIEN DE FONTAINE (18) enjoys a superb entry, has been reconfigured for the occasion, and seldom lets the side down here.

C4 – PRIX ROQUEPINE – 2150m (a1m1/4) – Class F Race – Harness – EUR € 21,000 - KALINE D’ARDENNES – No champion but always gives her best, latterly 4th of 12 in a 2700m Class F at Le Croise-Laroche 10 days ago. Sports 4 pads for first time and will be competitive if Luc Jérôme Legros extricates her from the rail
- KHADIDJA CASTELETS – Reassuring 3rd of 9 in a 2500m Reims Class F mid-March. Similarly-shod this time and from the 2-spot must be retained
- KOH SAMUI BOND – Back under harness after finishing 11th of 13 in a 2825m monte Class F at Le Croise-Laroche on Monday. Barefoot this time but still a rank outsider
- KOMINA – In the frame in 2 of last 3, most recently 3rd of 11 in a 2850m Laval Class E early-February. Comes here fresh and looks competitively well-in
- KIARA DE JADE – Moderate mare making first start since running 6th of 16 in a 2850m Laval Class E last November and is not about to trouble the judge
- KUZCOTOPIA – Imposed at Graignes before coming 3rd of 16 in a 2875m Meslay Class F on 16 March. Seldom disappoints when fitted with pads and from the front row can play a leading role
- KANELLE CASTELETS – Starts for first time since finishing 8th of 9 in a 2175m Vincennes Class E 3 weeks ago. Is barefoot for re-entry but still not a priority
- KELLE BLEUE – Left a good impression when 2nd of 14 in a 2700m Class F at Le Croise-Laroche mid-March. Breaks wide but has been reconfigured and is still very much in the picture
- KARLA MELODY – 5th of 14, on 2nd start back, in a 2850m Laval Class E last weekend. Has not been the most fortunate with the draw but nonetheless has the wherewithal to win a race of this nature
- KISS ME DE JOMAX – Failed to confirm Le Croisé-Laroche performance when 7th of 10 finishers in a 2800m Chartres Class F 11 days ago, and the draw does her no favours
- KUBITSA – Sanctioned in a 2800m Pontchateau Class F on 2 January. Has not been seen since and has no realistic chance
- KATINA DE TOUSSAC – Showed improvement, on 2nd start back, running 5th of 16 in a 2500m Class F at La Rochelle on 9 March. Leading driver in the bike this time but others still easier to recommend
- KLARISSA – Back under harness after running an unthreatening 4th of 7 in a 2825m monte Class F at Le Croisé-Laroche 10 days ago. Barefoot this time but is not about to spring any surprises
- KANARY BAY – Made it 3 straight sanctions after faulting in a 2200m Caen Class F on 17 March, but won her first 2 of the year, and will have a lot to offer if she stays in stride
- KIANA OASIS – Out of the picture in last 3, latterly sanctioned in a 2725m Lisieux Class E a week ago, and can be passed over
- KALINA DE LAURIERE – Courageous but never dangerous 6th of 12 behind KALINE D’ARDENNES (1) in a 2700m Class F at Le Croise-Laroche 10 days ago. Poorly-drawn and cannot be considered a player
Summary: Although yet to get around Mauquenchy unscathed, KARLA MELODY (9) has 2 runs under her belt and even though handed a tough draw, it will not be long before she gets back to winning ways. That said, KUZCOTOPIA (6) is currently in fine shape and the draw will do her chances no disservice. KANARY BAY (14) may not be easy to manage, and has pulled a bad number, but she has already won twice this year and will have a lot to contribute if Lilian Bertin keeps her focused. A faithful servant for the most part, KOMINA (4) benefits from a top-tier draw and looks the sort that can do well at Mauquenchy.

C5 – PRIX DU COURRIER CAUCHOIS – 2850m (a2m) – Class E Race – Harness – EUR € 21,000 - LULU DES CARREAUX – Lacklustre so far this year, most recently 9th of 16 behind LORD CASH DE FONT (2) in a 2150m Class F here 2.5 weeks ago, and has no possible chance
- LORD CASH DE FONT – Made up for January sanction when 5th of 16 in a 2150m Class F here 2.5 weeks ago and, if applied, can figure prominently
- LITTERAIRE – Sanctioned in a 2100m Lisieux Class E, on 2nd start back, a week ago. Should be sufficiently fit by now and will not be far from the action if he gets off on the right foot
- L’AMI DANOVER – Never-threatening 4th of 8 in a Class E under these conditions on 19 February. Comes here fresh, and breaks in front, but may find the going a bit too tough
- LAMKELZE DE NIEL – Unable to confirm Mons performance when 10th of 14 in a 2600m Nancy Class F last Saturday and is unlikely to influence the result
- LIVE MY DREAM – 10th of 14 in a 2700m Cagnes Class E 2 month ago. Disappointing on the whole over recent months and even though reconfigured, can still be ruled out
- LOUXOR DANICA – Had morale restored when victorious in a 2600m Class F at Blain-Bouvron-Le Gâvre late last month and, with Sebastien Ernault reining, will be no easy touch
- LA BELLE STAR – Has not been seen out since finishing last in a 2700m Vincennes Class B in January 2024 and is expected to need the race
- LAPONIE D’EMMA – Has not run since winning a 2875m Enghien Class D last October. May be a race shy but still has the class to make up for her absence. Place chance
- L’AMIRAL STREET – 3rd of 12 in a 2200m Caen Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Shoes back on but still merits significant respect
- LAZAN DE PASSIEU – 6th of 11 finishers in a 2875m Argentan Class D a fortnight ago. Has shown improvement since starting to race barefoot but still has more to find
- LUCHADOR – 6th of 15 in a 2700m Vincennes Class D on 23 February. Put in a good finish that day, is plainly close to his race, and can impose for first time since November 2023
- LOUSTIC DELAURIERE – 4th of 11 finishers in a 2875m Argentan Class D a fortnight ago. Is never far from faulting but has bags of ability and with application can give another good account
- L’ATOLL – Excellent in 4 of 5 to date. Has not raced since winning a 2950m Vichy Class C last June, and incurs the handicap, but is not to be overlooked
- LADY BIRD JENILAT – Makes Mauquenchy debut after faulting in a 2875m Enghien Class D on 18 March and is not about to spice things up
- LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL – Hardy filly making first start since coming 4th of 8 in a 2875m Enghien Class C last August. Enjoys a decent entry but others still easier to recommend
Summary: Useful for the most part, LUCHADOR (12) drops in category and is not incapable of making his Mauquenchy debut a winning one. Better-placed on the front line, LOUXOR DANICA (7) returned to victorious ways on turf recently and, with hind shoes off, should have a lot to offer. L’AMIRAL STREET (10) was most impressive at Caen last month and even though racing shod form the back line, looks competitive. Three times a winner from 5 starts, LAPONIE D’EMMA (9) may not have been seen out since October but she has won 3 from 5 and should take well to Mauquenchy conditions.

- I KEEP CALM – 9th of 14 behind HYROPHARE (6) in a 2700m Graignes Class F 11 days ago. 4 pads fitted this time and not an obvious choice
- JAVELOT – 10th of 13 when preparing for this in a 2850m Laval Class D early last month. Has references in superior company and from the 4-spot will be no soft touch
- JACK SURPRISE – 3rd of 14, a place behind JAGUAR DJOB (8), in a 2675m Lisieux Class F mid-March. Occasionally displays a lack of discipline but otherwise looks a serious proposition
- HYROPHARE – 4th of 14 in a 2700m Graignes Class F 11 days ago. Consistently gives everything he has and although unlikely to get his nose in front, can still figure prominently
- JAVA DU CHERISAY – Makes first appearance since running 6th of 8 finishers in a 2700m Vincennes ridden Class D on 7 February. Is as good in one code as the other but remains shod and will not be given a hard race
- JAGUAR DJOB – Reassuring 2nd of 14 in a 2675m Lisieux Class F mid-March. Is plainly in rude health and can defy the draw and impose
- JAVA DE BOITRON – Serious mare that laid down the law in a 2700m Vincennes Class D late-February. Takes on the boys this time though and the draw only compounds matters
- JOYEUX MESLOIS – Pleasantly-surprising 6th of 16 in a 2825m Chartres Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Is difficult to knock when focused and will have his chances if Emilien Dupont positions him early
- JEREMY D’AS – Quality element that was given an easy comeback, running 8th of 16 behind JOYEUX MESLOIS (10) in a 2825m Chartres Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Is still in conditioning-mode though and not a concern
- HERMES DU CHATAULT – 7th of 13, on return to competition, in a 2700m Class F at Le Croise-Laroche mid-March. Is no slouch when focused but would be preferred a level down
- JOB DU PERSIL – 9th of 12 in a 2925m Cagnes Class B on 26 February. Is plainly better than that, and races barefoot, but cannot be considered a priority
- HIPPIE DU BREIL – Sanctioned on re-entry in a 3200m Fougeres amateurs Class H on 23 March. Reverts to preferred configuration and with some luck in running, can pick up a cheque
Summary: Oddly out of sorts at Angers, JAGUAR DJOB (8) made amends at Lisieux mid-March and despite a wide draw can strike at Mauquenchy at the first time of asking. JOYEUX MESLOIS (10) is also new to the venue, is forced to break from the 2nd line, but has nothing to prove in this category and, racing barefoot, will be no easy touch. Nicely-placed own the front row, JACK SURPRISE (5) went close on comeback and, with stride in check, can again make the frame. Similarly well-positioned, JAVELOT (4) is rarely far from the action, sports an earlier formula, and the Mauquenchy profile should suit him to a tee.

- LOLITA DE MIELOUI – Last of 6 in a 2875m Enghien Class E on 7 March. has shown the limits of her capacity at this level and can be ruled out
- KINGSTON DU MINON – Sanctioned in all 3 harness starts last month, latterly a 2725m Lisieux Class E a week ago. Has yet to show any flair for the ridden code and is not about to break the mould
- LASKA DU LEVANT – Has been enjoying a rich vein of form since early-December, most recently 2nd of 12 in a 2700m Vincennes Class D on 17 February. Takes on her elders this time but in current condition is easy to recommend
- KAMAY DES CORONS – Ran 3rd at Vire a month back before coming 6th of 13 behind JUNON TWIN (6) in a 2700m Graignes Class F a fortnight later. Is no champion and faces a stiff test this time around
- JUNON TWIN – Reassuring 3rd of 13 in a 2700m Graignes Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Has yet to deliver at the venue but in present form must be worth retaining
- LITTLELOU MATIDY – Regular sort that finished an unexceptional 4th of 9 in a 2875m Enghien Class D late last month. Has consistency on her side though and is unlikely to be far from the action
- KRONOS DE VANDEL – 5th of 14 in a Class F over course and distance 2.5 weeks ago. Seldom lets the side down when focused and with application will not be going home empty-handed
- LANNISTER D’AVRIL – 7th of 11 finishers in a 2875m Argentan harness Class D on comeback 2 weeks ago. Has decent references in good fields and if ability transitions, will be no easy touch
- L’APOGEE IMPERIAL – Never at his ease when sanctioned in a 2875m Enghien Class C 3 weeks ago. Otherwise always gives his best but is biting off more than he can chew here
- LOUVE ANGEL – Hardy filly making first appearance since running 2nd of 9 in a 2700m Vincennes Class C last November. Sports a new configuration for the occasion but is expected to need the run
- LA SEGNORA PIYA – Has not been seen out since faulting in a 2175m Vincennes Class B on 25 January. Has won twice under the saddle, is reconfigured for the occasion, and can finish in the mix if she adapts to Mauquenchy conditions
- LUCAS DE TOURNAI – Unable to confirm Vincennes victory when 4th of 8 in a 2875m Enghien Class C 3 weeks ago. Is plainly in excellent shape and can win his second of the year
- KALONEK DU MONT – 5th of 6 finishers in a 2550m Reims Class E a fortnight ago. Is just 60 Euros from elimination but is not about to shake things up
Summary: In excellent condition and benefitting from terrific entry at the limit of earnings, LUCAS DE TOURNAI (13) will have no issue with the new conditions and looks the pick of the field. Jérémy Condette will still want to be wary of LASKA DU LEVANT (4) who has been a revelation over recent months, and the hardy LITTLELOU MATIDY (7) who sports a new configuration for her Mauquenchy bow. LANNISTER D’AVRIL (9) will have come on for his Argentan return run, debuts in the discipline, and is not incapable of spoiling the party.

C8 – PRIX DU GROS HORLOGE – 2850m (a2m) – Class E Race – Harness – EUR € 21,000 - MONA LISA GEDE – Sanctioned in a 3225m Fougeres Class G 11 days ago, first time out. Subsequently showed her form though and the engagement of Gabriele Gelormini will do her prospects no disservice
- MILLIUM QUESNOT – Debuted nicely when 3rd of 12 in a 2825m Class F at Le Croise-Laroche mid-March. Will have progressed for the run and Mauquenchy conditions may be just what the doctor ordered. Chance
- MOONLIGHT SHADOW – Has not been seen out since being sanctioned in a 2200m Vincennes Class D last September. Looks a useful sort in the making but is likely to be race-rusty
- MY DREAM – In the frame in 2 of 3 to date, most recently 3rd of 11 in a 2450m Caen Class F on 17 March. Is confirmed racing left-handed and has a realistic chance of getting off the mark
- MILLESIME STAR – Came 4th at Laval prior to running 2nd of 12 in a 2800m Chartres Class F on 23 March. Takes on a better lot this time but must still be afforded respect
- MUSCDARCHE – Unseen since finishing last of 6 in a 2700m Graignes Class E in December. Is not devoid of ability but is going to need the run
- MISTER YELLOW – Ran 3rd at Cherbourg before coming 4th of 11, a place behindMY DREAM (4) in a 2450m Caen Class F on 17 March. Is patently on the way up and looks a serious proposition
- MYTHE DU GOUTIER – Made short work of a 2300m Chartres Class F on debut 2.5 weeks ago. Showed a certain spirit that day but can double his money if Hugues Monthulé keeps him focused
- MAMBO THORIS – Encouraged at Vire before finishing last but one, a place behind MUSIKO CAUVELLIERE (10), in a 2875m Enghien Class D on 18 March, and is unlikely to spring any surprises
- MUSIKO CAUVELLIERE – Imposed at Cherbourg mid-February before finishing 6th of 10 in a 2875m Enghien Class D a little over a month later. Unlikely to get his nose in front but can still finish close
Summary: Very much an open affair this, but it is hard to ignore the way MYTHE DU GOUTIER (8) imposed on last month’s debut and he is just preferred to MY DREAM (4) who clearly has bucket-loads of untapped potential, and the promising MISTER YELLOW (7) who finished a place behind him at Caen mid-March. MILLIUM QUESNOT (2) looked thoroughly professional at Le Croise-Laroche first time out and must be taken more seriously this time.
