R1 VINCENNES [L-H]
C1 – PRIX DEIMOS – 2200m (a1m1/2) – Class D Race – Mounted – EUR € 40,000
- LA CHENEVIERE – Sanctioned in last 5, latterly a 2875m Enghien Class D 10 days ago, and can expect to have few takers
- LUCKY LADY D’AMOUR – Returns to the code after finishing 9th of 10 in a 2875m Enghien harness Class E 10 days ago, but already looks out of her depth
- LOU DE LANGE – 4th of 6 finishers in a 2875m Enghien Class E early last month. Has solid monte references but may be taking on too much this time
- LOUISIANE LEMAN – Runner-up in 3 of last 4, all under harness, most recently a 2150m Argentan Class E on 19 March. Has good speed which will do her chances no disservice. Place chance
- LUTECIA ELLIS – Sanctioned, on return to competition, in a 2575m Agen harness Class E mid-March. Has yet to disappoint in this branch of the game and is not about to start now. Chance
- LOUISIANE KERYVON – Given time to recalibrate after running 6th of 7 finishers in a 2700m Class D here on 17 February. In the thick of things for the most part and represents a respectable first-5 prospect
- LIMA MARY – Last but one when preparing for this in a 2875m Argentan harness Class D on 19 March. Benjamin Rochard back in the saddle and can wrap this up if he keeps her action together
- LILIEME FOR CLARA – Sanctioned on re-entry in a 2700m Class D here on 17 February. Tends to prefer the main track but is no slouch and must be worth retaining
- LOU D’ECROVILLE – Back under the saddle after finishing 7th of 8 in a 2600m Saint-Galmier harness Class D a month ago and is unlikely to trouble the judge
- LACIENDA FLASH – Won under harness here before faulting in a 2875m Enghien harness Class D 2.5 weeks ago. Well-engaged for monte debut and with application is unlikely to disappoint
Summary: A winner over the main track on her monte debut on Christmas Day, LUTECIA ELLIS (5) could well have doubled up in February had she not faulted close to home, but after a change of scenery at Argentan, she is barefoot for her short-course debut and has the class to win this. She will still encounter resistance from LUTECIA ELLIS (5) who returns to the code barefoot for the first time. LOUISIANE LEMAN (4) debuts under the saddle with Eric Raffin in the irons and her candidature must be taken at face value. A winner over the main track before faulting across town, a reconfigured LACIENDA FLASH (10) enjoys a good entry here and debuts in the discipline with a decent hand to play.

C2 – PRIX DE SURESNES – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class R Claiming – Harness – EUR € 18,000 - LUSSABEAU – Switches back to harness code after running a distant 5th of 9 in a 2875m Enghien monte Class D 10 days ago. Disregard
- LARIFLETTE – Fine servant in this category, most recently 3rd of 7 finishers to LOZEN DE BANVILLE (4) in a 2875m Enghien claimer on 11 March. Has yet to deliver over 2100m of the short course but in current form is easy to like
- L’ARC EN CIEL – Modest individual making first appearance since running 9th of 16 to LARIFLETTE (2) in a 2150m Enghien claimer last October. Good draw but still no chance
- LOZEN DE BANVILLE – Tenacious winner of a 2875m Enghien claimer on 11 March. Is in her category and should be good enough to bring the fight to LIKE A BIRD STAR (6)
- LA MOME – 9th of 11 in a 2700m Cagnes Class C on 26 February. Has done nothing noteworthy for some time and can be confidently ruled out
- LIKE A BIRD STAR – Flew up in a 2150m Cagnes Class D late-February. Drops down the category-ladder and, considering the draw, should have the measure of the field
- LE CAP – Disappointing of late, most recently sanctioned in 11 March race of reference, and has no realistic chance
- LAYLA – 6th of 7 finishers to LOZEN DE BANVILLE (4) in a 2875m Enghien claimer on 11 March and will need to show marked improvement
- LADRA DI MALAVITA – 7th in race of reference before being disqualified over 2300m at Mons last Saturday. Has little going her way here and others easier to back
- LEGENDE DU LOISIR – Pleasantly-surprising 2nd of 7 finishers to LOZEN DE BANVILLE (4) in a 2875m Enghien claimer on 11 March. Unlikely to repeat but in similar form can at least make first 5
- LEGYPTIA DE GUEZ – Drops in category after running 3rd of 9 in a 2950m Toulouse monte Class E mid-March. Entrusted to the champion pilot for the first time and will be no pushover if he successfully negates the draw
- LEADER DE CERISY – Back in the claiming category after running 9th of 12 in a 2200m Caen Class E conditioner 2.5 weeks ago. Reverts to a previous formula but still appears to have too much to find
- LEADER DU LOISIR – Quickly sanctioned in 11 March race of reference. Is in his element at this level though, is confirmed over track and trip, and is well-placed to give this a good go. First 5
- LARGO DE JOUDES – Unthreatening 4th of 7 finishers to LOZEN DE BANVILLE (4) in a 2875m Enghien claimer on 11 March. Always gives what he can but the draw will do his chances no favours
- LUMIERE MIKA – Returns to claiming category after being sanctioned in a 2675m monte Class F at Châtillon-sur-Chalaronne early-March. Has placed in 2 of 3 at this level and will not be far from the action if David Thomain positions her early
Summary: Facile winner over a similar distance at Cagnes just over a month ago, LIKE A BIRD STAR (6) enjoys a good spot on the front line and in this company will have every chance of confirming. She is going to be opposed though by the better-positioned LOZEN DE BANVILLE (4) who scored at this level across town last month, and claiming specialist LARIFLETTE (2) who ran 3rd to her that day. LEGYPTIA DE GUEZ (11) is on the way back up following a lengthy absence and benefits from an Eric Raffin drive.

C3 – PRIX LIBRA – 2200m (a1m1/2) – Class D Race – Mounted – EUR € 46,000 - KING DU RIL – Failed to pull off the 6-timer when faulting in a 2850m Maure Class E 10 days ago. Should not be hastily-judged and a return to the winners’ circle would be no surprise
- KIKI DU ROC – 5th of 10 to KOPECK DE CHENU (9) in a 2875m Enghien Class D 3 weeks ago. Always gives his best but that is unlikely to be enough this time
- KASSANDRA WIND – Makes ridden bow after running 9th of 16 on comeback in a 2875m Enghien harness Class D 2.5 weeks ago. Sports modified shoeing but still looks out of her depth
- KRACK CLEA – Opened his monte account here before running 10th of 16 in a 2700m harness Class D conditioner here a week ago. Shod as he was late-February and although untried over the inner course, can still play an active role
- KADOR DU MONT – 2nd of 13, on monte debut, in a 2700m Graignes Class F on 16 March. Will have come on for the run and considering his ability under harness, can expect to finish in the mix
- KENYAN BLUES – Quickly sanctioned in a 2450m Caen Class D a month back, after having twice come 2nd over main track. Reverts to that formula and even though in better company should not be written off
- KINDY PERRINE – 4th at Enghien before coming 2nd of 4 finishers in a 2850m Class D here a week ago. Won only start under these conditions but faces the boys this time and chances limited
- KALIMERO JASMA – Runner-up to KOPECK DE CHENU (9) in a 2875m Enghien Class D 3 weeks ago. Races barefoot this time though and will be challenging for the win this time
- KOPECK DE CHENU – Imposed at Enghien on monte debut 3 weeks ago before coming last of 9 when being prepped in a 2200m Salon-de-Provence harness Class C 12 days later. Gets a chance to prove himself and will not be available at 67/1 this time
- KANTHABELLA – Last but one behind KALINA PRINCESS (11) on comeback in a 2150m Enghien harness Class C 3 weeks ago. Barefoot this time but can be ruled out nevertheless
- KALINA PRINCESS – Good servant that ran 11th of 15 on re-entry in a 2150m Enghien harness Class C 3 weeks ago. Has taken particularly well to the code and over this less-demanding course can impose
- KOBALT DU VALLON – Returns to Vincennes after coming 3rd of 14 in a 2450m Caen Class D a month ago. Is not the easiest to manage but can trot when focused and will justifiably generate interest
- KID DES MOLLES – Unraced since finishing last of 12 in a 2850m Class C here on 18 January. Sports pads for re-entry but still not a concern
- KING OF JIEL – Has not been seen out since running 2nd of 14 in a 2700m Class D here late-January. Should appreciate the inner course and is not incapable of picking up a cheque
Summary: Most impressive late last year when introduced to the monte discipline, KALINA PRINCESS (11) returns to the code after a harness conditioner across town and, barefoot this time, looks the one to beat. She will still be taking on the in-form and barefoot KALIMERO JASMA (8) who is plainly close to his race, and KING DU RIL (1) who will be expected to bounce back from his Maure-de-Bretagne sanction. Shod as he was when victorious on his ridden bow mid-March, KOPECK DE CHENU (9) looks a player.

C4 – PRIX CEPHENS – 2850m (a2m) – Class E Race – Harness – EUR € 49,000 - JUHELLET – 2nd of 16 in a 2825m Chartres Class G 12 days ago. Pleased on lone appearance here but seems to be out of his league this time
- IBIS D’AUVRECY – 8th of 18, on first start after a spell, in a 2850m Class F at Maure-de-Bretagne 10 days ago. Can trot but not with success at this level of competition
- HARRY D’OURVILLE – 4th of 14 in a 2850m Laval Class E mid-February, his first start since April 2023. Will have progressed for the run and debuts for new trainer with a lot to contribute. Chance
- JOKER CASTILUANNE – Going well before faulting in a 2875m Enghien Class E 3 weeks ago. Is patently in fine form and will not be far off the mark if he stays focused
- IDEAL DU CAPMAY – Imposed at Argentan before running 5th of 14 in a 3000m Nantes Class E late-February. Is new to Vincennes but has bags of ability and can play a role if he takes to the new profile
- HEART OF GLASS – Useful but erratic type making first appearance since finishing last of 10 in a 2650m Marseille-Vivaux Class E in November. Stays shod and best to keep one’s powder dry
- IERMES DE GUEZ – Quality element that was sanctioned on re-entry in a Class C over course and distance late-February. Seldom disappoints when focused and although preferred barefoot, he can still get a look-in
- JANKO HAUFOR – Superior winner of a 2875m Enghien Class D on 11 March. Is plainly at the top of his game and will be expected to give JE TE CHERCHE (11) a run for his money
- INFIEL – Unraced since running 3rd of 14 in a 2875m Enghien Class D last October. Shod for re-entry and not a priority
- HALL BLACK MESS – 8th of 11 in a 2550m Reims Class E a fortnight ago. Is not the biggest Vincennes fan but will be barefoot with Benjamin Rochard reining and will have his supporters
- JE TE CHERCHE – Remarkable trotter that just missed out on the hat-trick when 2nd of 14 in a Class C under these conditions late-February. Enjoys a golden entry here and Théo Duvaldestin will be eager to make it pay off
- JOUR DE FETE – Finished last of 10 in a monte Class A over course and distance on 21 February. Drops in category, races barefoot for the occasion, and considering the entry, is not to be underestimated
Summary: An exceptional horse that has yet to be defeated when barefoot, JE TE CHERCHE (11) just missed out on the hat-trick here at the end of February and after a good month to get back in shape, he should take take all the beating. Damien Bonne looks the most likely to thwart Theo Duvaldestin’s plan with JANKO HAUFOR (8) who made short work of an Enghien Class D last month. HARRY D’OURVILLE (3) breaks with a 25m head-start and the presence of Eric Raffin in the bike bodes well for his chances. JOKER CASTILUANNE (4) is a tough nut when focused and David Thomain will be eager to put things right.

C5 – PRIX ISOLDA – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR € 40,000 - LOUIS VITTON MIJO – Back to Paris after running 2nd of 12 in a 2200m Caen Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Races barefoot this time and, with Mathieu Mottier keeping faith, should not be ruled out
- LEBOSS D’HAVAROCHE – Sanctioned in 4 of last 5, most recently when in the running for a cheque in a Class D under these conditions a week ago. Others easier to trust but is not one to be underestimated
- LORD FROMENTRO – Good class of trotter that was quickly sanctioned in a 2100m Class C here 2 weeks ago. Form is not in question and can play an active role if Théo Duvaldestin keeps him trotting
- LE MAC – Disappointing last of 7, a place behind LENSOIS DU DOLLAR (5), in a 2100m Class C here on 21 March, and can expect to remain friendless in the markets
- LENSOIS DU DOLLAR – Last but one in a 2100m Class C here on 21 March and would be preferred under the saddle
- LE GENTLEMAN – Opened his 2025 account when dominating a 2875m Enghien Class D early last month. Benjamin Rochard gets the nod once more and will be competitive for a repeat
- LION SUR MER – Complemented Chateaubriant victory when securing success in a Class D over course and distance on 23 February. Has had time to fully recover and the 3-timer is well within his capacity
- LIQUIDATEUR – Made up for February sanction when 2nd of 13 in a Class D over track and trip a week ago, and can trot his way into the picture if Léo Abrivard keeps him focused
- LOUSTIC DE SALOMAX – Sanctioned in both this term, latterly when full of running in a Class B under these conditions on 21 February, but will have his chances if he stays in stride
- LORD DES FANES – Unlucky to be disqualified in a Class B over track and trip on 21 February. Jean-Michel Bazire reining this time but still cannot be considered a priority
- LEMON FLEURY – Put any doubts about form to bed when trouncing the opposition in a 2875m Argentan Class D on 19 March. Nicely-engaged here and in similar form can repeat
- LUXOR DE VILLABON – Put 3 sanctions behind him when 3rd of 15 in a 2575m Agen Class E mid-March. Has never delivered under harness here though and others preferred
Summary: Authoritative winner at Argentan last month, LEMON FLEURY (11) benefits from a good entry here and is not incapable of doubling his money. That said, February course-and-distance winner LION SUR MER (7) is back on a hat-trick and Eric Raffin will be intent on sealing the deal. LOUSTIC DE SALOMAX (9) has talent to burn, is reconfigured for the occasion, and will be no pushover if Gauthier Baudouin keeps him focused. The same caveat can be applied to the progressive LIQUIDATEUR (8).

C6 – PRIX APPOLONIA – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR € 46,000 - KASSOUMAYE – Tricky character that was quickly sanctioned in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Is undeniably useful but would be preferred a level down
- KITO TURGOT – Ran 2nd twice before finishing 7th of 14 in a 2725m Lisieux Class E last week. Has never delivered over the main track and chances limited
- KRONOS JULINO – Returns to Vincennes after comfortably winning a 2650m Laval Class E a month ago. Takes on a superior lot this time though and a minor place chance at best
- KOWEIT DE CHENU – 7th of 13 behind KANCALAIS (11) when preparing for this in a Class D over course and distance 2 weeks ago. Is confirmed over 2700m here and on good behaviour will be competitive at the business end of the race
- KILIMANDJARO PLAYA – Quality campaigner that ran 9th of 11 on re-entry in a 2650m Bordeaux Class E on 8 March. Still in conditioning-mode though and best to hold off
- KAYNE RICHER – Won a brace before coming 3rd of 14, a place behind KABOTIN CHENEVIERE (12), in a 2850m Laval Class E on 12 March. Gets to race barefoot for first time and Benjamin Rochard will have his sights set on the silverware
- KING FROMENTRO – Picked up after the spell where he left off, latterly 2nd of 14 in a 2450m Caen Class E on 10 March. Tends to go well over the main track and although unlikely to impose, can still finish in the mix
- KARTER LEWIS – Dependable sort that ran 4th of 9 over 2300m at Mons 2.5 weeks ago. Is new to Vincennes but can trot, has been reconfigured, and won his only start with Mathieu Mottier. First 5
- KASSIDY KID – Would have finished closer than 6th of 13 behind KANCALAIS (11) in a Class D over course and distance 2 weeks ago had he been afforded a run. Whether that was a flash in the pan or not remains to be seen. Attention
- KANEM – Has not been seen out since running 4th of 8 in a 2825m Class A at Le Croise-Laroche last November. Shoes on and will need the race
- KANCALAIS – 5th of 13 in a Class D under these conditions a fortnight ago. Has 2 runs under his belt and will be expected to apply the pressure on KRICK DU GUESCLIN (14)
- KABOTIN CHENEVIERE – Imposed at Caen prior to running 2nd of 14 in a 2850m Laval Class E on 12 March. Has references over the main track but not in this category
- KADOR D’ESPACE – Lost his action early in a 2925m Cagnes Class A on 9 March. Entrusted to Yoann Lebourgeois for the occasion but still not an obvious choice
- KRICK DU GUESCLIN – Sanctioned when clearly going well in a 2850m Class C here on 20 February. Has bags of ability, boasts solid references under these conditions, and can impose
- KANKAN – Last but one behind KANCALAIS (11) in a Class D over course and distance 2 weeks ago. Is no slouch on a good day but has a lot more to find
Summary: Wonderfully-entered close to the limit of earnings, KRICK DU GUESCLIN (14) has been afforded ample time to get his house in order and, if applied, can win this. Gabi Gelormini will still be keeping an eye on KANCALAIS (11) who will be fully-fit by now, and the reinvigorated KAYNE RICHER (6) who goes barefoot for the first time. Shod to preference following his recent freshener, KOWEIT DE CHENU (4) won for Eric Raffin in February and if applied can again finish close.

C7 – PRIX AQUILA – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR € 40,000 - LUMIERE DE BAILLE – 2nd over inner track before coming 4th of 13 in a 2875m Enghien Class E 10 days ago. On the rails this time but Mathieu Mottier can still be confident of a competitive run. Place chance
- LINOTTE DU MOUCHEL – Sanctioned on re-entry in a 2875m Enghien Class D 3.5 weeks ago. Has looked ordinary for some time and is unlikely to stir things up
- LET ME WIN – Improving sort returning to Paris after coming 2nd of 12 in a 2750m Toulouse Class D on 19 February. Sports a new configuration, is ideally-positioned onthe front line, and must be taken seriously
- LONDON DELO – Sanctioned in a 2700m Class D here late-February. Has been off her porridge for some time though and chances appear slim
- LAMTARA BUISSONAY – Returns to racing barefoot after finishing last of 8 in a 2875m Enghien Class D 2.5 weeks ago. Enjoys a good spot behind the car and is not to be ruled out
- LOVINA PERRINE – Flew up over the inner course prior to faulting when competitive in a 2875m Enghien Class D on 11 March. Starts in front and with application can make this her own
- LOVE ME AGAIN – Serious filly making first appearance since being disqualified from winning a 2850m Class D here late-November. Boss in the bike this time and can impose if he manages to keep her mind on the job at hand
- LADY POP – Pleasant 5th of 11 on comeback in a 2150m Argentan Class E on 19 March. Shoes off for first time, with Eric Raffin in the bike, and will justifiably garner support
- LORELEI DE REUX – 6th of 11, a place behind LADY POP (8), on re-entry in a 2150m Argentan Class E on 19 March. Raced better that day than the result would suggest and, running first-time barefoot, is a serious proposition
- LUNE ROSE D’ALESA – Got off the mark, at 16th time of asking, in a 2150m Mauquenchy Class F 2.5 weeks ago, but a repeat seems most improbable
- LOULOUTE DE BOUERE – Imposed at La Rochelle prior to running 5th of 13 in a 2850m Maure Class F 10 days ago. Hind shoes off but takes a leap in category and the draw will not help matters
- LADY OF DURBUY – Returns to Vincennes after running 2nd of 13 in a 2700m Class E at Le Croise-Laroche 11 days ago. On back line but can still play a small role
- LADY DALM – 2nd of 14, on return to competition, in a 2100m Lisieux Class E last week. Forced to break on 2nd row but is confirmed under these conditions and deserves to be taken seriously
Summary: Brimming with talent but a handful at the best of times, LOVINA PERRINE (6) could well have pulled off the double at Enghien last month had she kept trotting, and Damien Bonne will be eager to set the record straight. He will however be justifiably wary of LOVE ME AGAIN (7) who, although unseen since November, will be first-time barefoot and reined by JMB. Similarly barefoot after a much needed re-entry in the provinces, LORELEI DE REUX (9) is not ideally-drawn but is reunited with Yoann Lebourgeois who imposed with her here late-November. LUMIERE DE BAILLE (1) has progressed nicely over recent months and will have her chances if Mathieu Mottier defies the draw.

C8 – PRIX GRATIA – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR € 59,000 - IOUPY TOLLEVILLE – Won 4 straight since the turn of the year before settling for 2nd of 16 in a 2850m Laval Class E on 12 March. Has earned the right to take his chances and is unlikely to be far from the action
- IMPERIAL DURABUTIN – Not as sharp as he was last season but raced better in the race of reference than his 6th place would suggest and will have his chances of making first 5 this time
- GOODMORNING CHARLY – Makes just 3rd Vincennes appearance after running 7th of 14 in a 2625m Agen Class E 12 days ago and looks to have his work cut out
- INHERIT – Classy trotter that returned to victorious ways in a 2875m Enghien Class D on 14 March. Excels with the day’s driver and has every chance of confirming
- IN LOVE DE JIEL – Got back in the game when 3rd of 11 to INHERIT (4) in a 2875m Enghien Class D 3 weeks ago. Unlikely to get his nose in front but can still challenge for a place on the podium
- INSTRUCTOR – Ran 4th at Enghien on 7 March before being sanctioned a week later in race of reference. Is no slouch when applied but nevertheless faces a stiff test
- ILCAPITANO DU PARC – Has not put a foot out of line since last May, most recently winning (by default) a 2800m Vire Class E a month back. Is nevertheless in exceptional form and Yoann Lebourgeois will be keeping sight of the hat-trick
- GALIA SOTHO – Failed to confirm February performance when 9th of 15 behind HEUREUX DE BOUERE (13) in a 2100m Class D here on 1 March and is unlikely to cause an upset
- HOLD UP DES VENTES – Sent for a break after coming 5th of 18 in a 2875m Argentan Class E on Boxing Day and has no possible chance
- IRINA DE BAILLY – Last of 10 behind INSTRUCTOR (6) in a 2150m Enghien Class D on 7 March and can be passed over
- HIMBERLAND – Ran 3rd at Toulouse before coming close 2nd of 11 to INHERIT (4) in a 2875m Enghien Class D 3 weeks ago and will not be sent out at 18/1 on this occasion
- HOUSTON PAJELO – Has returned from his spell in fine shape, latterly 2nd of 13 in a 2150m Cagnes Class D late-February. Has decent Vincennes credentials and must be respected
- HEUREUX DE BOUERE – Beaten 3rd of 15 in a 2100m Class D here on 1 March. Goes over any trip, is plainly in good shape, but may just be taking on too much this time
- HELENCIO – Produced a good return effort when 5th of 15 behind HEUREUX DE BOUERE (13) in a 2100m Class D here on 1 March. Will have come on for the run and should not be overlooked
- ELEVEN SHAPTER – Has not been seen out since running 9th of 15 behind GALIA SOTHO (8) in a 2750m Cabourg Class D mid-December and will have nothing to contribute
- GAROU DU CHENE – 6th of 16 in a 2850m Class D here on 20 February. Has won in both disciplines under these conditions, enjoys a good entry, and it would be foolhardy to write him off
Summary: Simply dynamic with Eric Raffin in the bike, INHERIT (4) ran out a determined winner at Enghien 3 weeks ago and confirming will be the only thing on the champion driver’s mind. He will still be legitimately wary of the rehabilitated HIMBERLAND (11) who ran him close that day, and the remarkable ILCAPITANO DU PARC (7) who has won 4 of his last 5. IN LOVE DE JIEL (5) defied his odds in the race of reference and David Thomain will be keen to see how much more he can give. IOUPY TOLLEVILLE (1) steps back up in class but has similarly won 4 of his last 5 and is easy to recommend for a place in the frame.
