WANDERLUST (4) has entries in the classics and is likely to be a serious threat. Andre Fabre send out ALDIQUE (2) and he would not be a surprise winner. DARK SUMMIT (5) is closely related to Group 3 winner Special Duty and is another to consider on debut.

MAROLLES (3) holds a Group 1 entry and should be ready to strike on debut. SEINE (9) is a full sister to a Group 3 winner and deserves respect for a top trainer. SUNLY (5) also represents a very strong jockey-trainer combination and she would not be a surprise winner.

  37. CORTADO – Fifth in a Handicap at Fontainebleau over 1200m on 4 November. Needs to find a few lengths to be competitive
    Summary: LANZELOT GOLD (10) has a couple of things that point to him being the possible winner. He is consistent, distance suited and runs well for this particular jockey. TEN HORNS (2) is knocking very hard at the door and deserves a win and might just get it in this race. GRAND SON OF CALYX (14) won under jockey Christophe Soumillon and can double up under a penalty. OMICRONE (8) will strip fitter this time and has won at this track before.

  41. CUALIFICAR – Improving and won a Conditions race last time out at Saint-Cloud over 2000m on 16 March. Could have more to offer and deserves respect
  42. REACH THE SKY – Finished third last time out in a Conditions race at Marseille-Borely over 1700m on 19 March. Tougher task this time and others are preferred
  43. NEW GROUND – Showed good ability in his undefeated two wins last year, with the latest being in a Conditions race at Chantilly over this distance on 17 October. Can complete the hat-trick returning from a break
  44. WAKA WAKA – Has improved with each start and was a good winner last time out in a Conditions race at Cagnes-sur-Mer over 2000m on 25 February. Tougher task this time but has a place chance
    Summary: A decent line-up. NIZAM (3) showed very good potential with his two good wins last year. This is a tougher ask but he may well be up to it. AZIMPOUR (1) is not well drawn but won over this particular course and distance on debut. He is a serious danger. CUALIFICAR (4) is improving and won with merit at Saint-Cloud last month. DREAMLINER (2) is very consistent and should be competitive yet again.

  47. FLAMING STONE – Showed what she is capable of when returning from a break and picking up a Listed race at Saint-Cloud over 1600m on 16 March on French bow. Can follow up
  48. PREMONITION – Won her first attempt on the grass in a Conditions race at Lyon-Parilly over 1600m on 16 March. Tougher task this time and others are preferred
  49. WASSAIL – Showed improvement when winning her second start, a Conditions race at Deauville over 1900m on 28 December. Tougher task this time but could make the frame
  50. GEZORA – A winner of two of her four starts, including last time out in a Group 3 at Deauville over 1600m on 21 October. Returns from a break but does set the standard for the race
    Summary: A small field but some talented fillies. MANDANABA (1) won impressively on the PSF at Chantilly in November but can be just as good on the turf and gets a narrow vote to score under Barzalona. Stable companion GEZORA (6) returns from a break but clearly has the form in the book and would not be a surprise winner. FLAMING STONE (3) is improving and is fit and ready to strike again. WASSAIL (5) could also have more to offer.

  52. BIRR CASTLE – Did not show his best on the PSF when 6th in a Conditions race at Chantilly over 1900m on 9 March. Back on the turf and should improve from the comeback run. Outside chance
  53. HORIZON DORE – Finished 7th in a Conditions race at Chantilly over 1900m on 9 March. Top-class performer who should improve massively from the return to action
  54. CERTAIN LAD – Returns from a break but is very consistent and was victorious last time out in a Group 3 over this course and distance on 8 September. Has ability but better suited on testing ground
  55. MAP OF STARS – Continues to improve and returned from a break to be victorious in a Group 3 at Saint-Cloud over 2000m. on 16 March. Could be anything and is expected to follow up
    Summary: MAP OF STARS (5) suffered his only defeat five starts back in September. He was good before then and has been even better since then. His last win in a Group 3 at Saint-Cloud suggests he will be hard to oppose in this small field. HORIZON DORE (3) clearly needed his last run and will fight out the finish. CERTAIN LAD (4) is better suited to testing ground but is talented and capable of fighting it out. BIRR CASTLE (2) needed the last run and could make the frame.

  57. ROSE JAIPUR – Has some ability and was third last time out in a Group 3 at Chantilly over 1800m on 21 September. Returns from a break but has a winning chance
  58. WELTBESTE – Finished runner-up at Dortmund over 1950m on 16 March. Tougher task this time but is not out of it
  59. GALAXIE VEGA – Showed good improvement at the end of last year and was runner-up last time out in a Listed race at Saint-Cloud over 2000m on 10 November. Can go one better returning from a break
  60. WALDORA – Finished 6th last time out in a Group 3 at Toulouse over 2100m on 11 November. Capable of better but others are preferred
  61. LE COMBAT CONTINUE – Did not show her best when 8th in a Listed race at Deauville over 2500m on 21 October. Capable of better and has a place chance returning from a break
  62. MME JOURDAIN – Kept to the PSF last year and was third last time out in a Conditions race at Chantilly over 1600m on 12 December. Tougher task this time but could earn some money
  63. EUBOA – Knocking hard at the door and was runner-up last time out in a Group 3 at Toulouse over 2100m on 11 November. Big chance if fit from a break
  64. ZUNA – Showed some improvement when fourth in a Conditions race at Deauville over 1900m on 18 December. Can contest the finish
    Summary: ROSE JAIPUR (2) has ability and was a good third in a Group last time out. She returns from a break but has a decent shot at scoring if fit from her break. GALAXIE VEGA (4) is progressing nicely and has every chance of completing a hat-trick of wins. ZUNA (9) needs a decent pace for her to be seen at her best and may well get it in this race. WELTBESTE (3) has made the trip from Germany and deserves respect for that.

  72. IGNOL – Unplaced in a Handicap at Chantilly over 1400m on 13 March. Probably needed the latest and can improve

  74. WHITE PLATIN – Finished 10th in a Handicap at Fontainebleau over 1200m on 18 March. In the penultimate at Saint-Cloud ran better than rated and deserves to be respected
  75. PUMALIN PARK – Well beaten 8th in a Conditions race at Chantilly over 1400m on 17 March. Needs to find a few lengths
  76. MIELA – A winner in a Handicap at Strasbourg over 1400m on 22 March. Improved latest effort and must confirm that
  77. MASCAPONE – Fifth in a Claimer at Le-Mans over 1950m on 21 March. Unlikely to be involved in the finish and must improve
  78. FIRE REBEL – A winner in a Handicap at Fontainebleau over 1400m on 14 March. Holding form and can play a minor role
    Summary: CENTENARIO (6) is not reliable but is distance suited and quite capable of winning a race like this. WHITE PLATIN (10) has not won for some time now but has been in much tougher contests than this and could be a threat this time. SCARFACE (1) prefers a heavier track than this but does have a winning chance. SOUVENIR D’ECAJEUL (5) returns from a break but was very consistent last year and is clearly not out of it.

  1. MAMBO DU TAILLIS – Qualified in 1’19″6 at Grosbois last October. Not too many shabby youngsters in the Laurent-Claude Abrivard yard and is one to keep an eye on
  2. MIMOSA DE LARRE – Qualified in 1’19″0 at Caen last May. Comes from a yard in good shape and it would be no surprise to see him strike at the first time of asking
  3. MOJITO CASTELETS – Sanctioned first time out before coming 6th of 12 in a Class F over course and distance 2 weeks ago, and is not about to spring any surprises
  4. MOJITO CENE – 4th of 12, on career debut, behind MACBETH (7) in a 2825m Class F at Le Croise-Laroche 3 weeks ago but will need to raise his game in order to make any impact here
  5. MON ETOILE BOSS – Returns to the harness code after being sanctioned in a 2450m Caen monte Class F late last month and appears to be racing here on a prayer
  6. MA JOLIE JIEL – Gave a fine account when 2nd of 12 in a 2550m Reims Class F on debut early last month. Takes on slightly better this time but Pierre-Yves Verva can be confident of another good run
  7. MACBETH – Qualified in 1’16″1 last year then ran 2nd of 12 on debut in a 2825m Class F at Le Croise-Laroche 3 weeks ago. Should appreciate La Capelle conditions and getting off the mark is well within his capacity
  8. MANUREVA DE HOERDT – Disappointing in both since her decent Laval debut, latterly sanctioned in a 2225m Mauquenchy Class E 3 weeks ago, and will have few takers
  9. MONZA SEMILLY – Most impressive 2nd of 15 in a 2875m Meslay-du-Maine Class F mid-March. Goes left-handed this time but looks a classy filly in the making and has a legitimate claim on the trophy
  10. MANGO CASTELETS – Runner-up at Le Croisé-Laroche on debut prior to finishing 7th of 8 finishers in a 2225m Mauquenchy Class E 3 weeks ago, and will need to reaffirm
  11. MAYA GERBEHAYE – Runner-up on debut a month back before faulting in a 2450m Caen Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Not a priority but with application should not be too far from the action
  12. MIMO DU MESNIL – Courageous 2nd of 10 on debut in a 2700m Class F at Le Croise-Laroche 2 weeks ago. Was talked-up that day for good reason and will have a part to play if he takes to the new conditions
    Summary: Beaten only by a serious filly on her debut last month, confirming her excellent qualification, MONZA SEMILLY (9) should be able to wrap this up if she takes to the new profile. Faster qualifier MACBETH (7) similarly pleased first time out and may just be the main threat. That being said, MA JOLIE JIEL (6) looked thoroughly professional on debut at Reims and will have progressed for the race. MIMOSA DE LARRE (2) has been held back until now and the presence of Franck Ouvrie in the bike speaks volumes.

  13. IKA JOSSELYN – Won 2 over 2300m at Kuurne in the space of 12 days, most recently 3 weeks ago. Seldom comes to France unprepared and even though starting on the rail still looks a leading contender
  14. JISKAYA DE CARSI – Has 2 runs under her belt since the winter break, latterly 7th of 15 in a 2800m Rambouillet amateurs Class G a week ago. Could not have asked for a better entry, sports a revised configuration, and tends to go well here
  15. INDRA DE FORGES – Placed in 2 amateur events before running 6th of 13 in a 2600m Nancy Class F last weekend. Finds herself well-placed in front and is unlikely to disappoint
  16. JACKPOT BOOSTER – Drops down the category-ladder after running good 6th of 16 in a 2600m Nanacy Class F 8 days ago. Has been handed the perfect draw and looks the one to beat
  17. INDIGO DE BANVILLE – 8th of 16, on return to competition, in a 3200m Fougeres amateurs Class H a fortnight back and with shoes on has no possible chance
  18. ITEM BUISSONAY – Returns to the harness code after running 6th of 9 finishers in a 2825m monte Class F at Le Croise-Laroche last Monday. Shoes back on though and poses no threat
  19. IDOLE DE NAVARY – Last of 13 on re-entry in Class G under these conditions a fortnight ago. Front pads fitted this time and chances limited
  20. JIMOKA – Makes first appearance since coming 5th of 11 in a 2150m Cagnes amateurs Class F in early-February. Is shod this time but still has the wherewithal to pick up some prizemoney
  21. JACKPOT DES THUYAS – 6th of 12 on comeback behind INKERMAN DE PLAY (11) in a 2550m Reims amateurs Class G 2.5 weeks ago. Stays shod and best to hold off
  22. HIBISCUS DU BREU – Starts for first time since finishing 12th of 16 in a Class G over course and distance last November and will need the race
  23. INKERMAN DE PLAY – Put 3 sanctions behind him when 2nd of 12 in a 2550m Reims amateurs Class G 2.5 weeks ago. Not ideally-drawn but can go close if he replicates his latest performance
  24. IDUNN – Returns to the amateur category after coming 8th of 11 on re-entry in a 2825m Class F at Le Croise-Laroche 2 weeks ago and can expect to have few friends
  25. JOLIE AGATHA – Flattering 5th of 7 finishers in a 2600m Nancy amateurs Class G last weekend, on first start since the break. Goes barefoot this time but the draw will do her no favours
  26. IRENE D’OCCAGNES – Last but one in a 2400m Amiens amateurs Class G 3 weeks ago. Shoes on again and can be ruled out
  27. IDAHO CARTERY – Lost his action when heavily-backed in a 2400m Amiens amateurs Class G 3 weeks ago. Form is not in question and must be taken seriously. Chance
  28. IBERNATUS – 8th of 16, on return to competition, in a 2700m amateurs Class G at Le Croise-Laroche mid-March. Handed a rough draw and has imposed here in the day’s configuration, but cannot be considered a priority
    Summary: JACKPOT BOOSTER (4) takes to the amateur division for the first time after having shown improvement at Nancy last weekend. He races shod but is ideally-positioned behind the car and can get straight down to business. He will however be up against IKA JOSSELYN (1) who returns to France after winning 2 at home, and IDAHO CARTERY (15) who will be dangerous if he stays in stride. The same caveat applies to 2nd-row starter INKERMAN DE PLAY (11) who returns to racing shod.

  35. LOVE ME SAUTREUIL – Good 3rd of 16 in a 2150m Mauquenchy Class F 3 weeks ago. Did not find the gap until late that day but with a trouble-free trip can make a big impact

    Summary: A dynamic winner on comeback mid-February, LYANA D’ARC (14) has been afforded ample time to re-set, enjoys a wonderful entry, and Franck Ouvrie gets the nod. He can still expect to encounter opposition from the tricky but promising LESPANA DU BOCAGE (4) who could well have imposed last time out had she not faulted, and a freshly-barefoot LINE MAJYC (9) who has been showing improvement lately. LOVE ME SAUTREUIL (7) is hard to knock at present and steps marginally up in category with a good hand to play.

    Summary: Barring February’s Vincennes blip, LE CONQUERANT (7) has not put a foot out of place and, racing barefoot on his debut at the venue, will have every chance of winning this. Benjamin Rochard will still want to be wary of the handy LISTEL D’URZY (11) who has been acquitting himself particularly well of late, and L’AS DES AS (10) who races first-time barefoot with Jean-François Senet in the bike.   42. JAKARTA DE BAUNE – She won on her only run over 3600m in a Class 3 chase at Fontainebleau on March 29th, 2024. Might need this run after a long absence
  43. TRIOMPHE DE MAINE – Two unplaced runs since a win over 3500m at Machecoul in a claiming hurdle on November 11th. Tends to make errors when jumping fences
  44. LILLOU – Unplaced last time out, he won before that over 3800m at Angers in a Class 2 handicap hurdle on February 26th. Outside place chance
  45. KILKENNY – Two placed runs so far over hurdles, the latter over 3600m at Auteuil in a Class 2 race on October 30th. Chase debut and is one to consider each-way
    Summary: KING D’ALENE(8) scored over this track two starts ago in April 2024 and should be primed for his return. JACASSE CAMARA (4) has no fitness concerns and showed promise with a solid third over fences at Angers in mid-February, making her a likely threat. MELGARRY (1), fourth in a Listed chase at Nantes last October, has had two runs since and appeals as a solid each-way option. MANDARIN BASC (3) looks best of the remainder.

  48. BAHIANE – Made a smart debut but followed up with a disappointing effort when way back in 10th place and is therefore hard to assess. Prefer others
  49. SETOCITY – Running well, showing potential and is one for the shortlist. Placed an encouraging 2nd at Le Mans on the 10th of March. Big chance
  50. ROSE APPEAL – Made an inspiring debut when placing 4th over 1950m at Le Mans on the 10th of last month and with natural progression will be a huge contender
  51. ROSA GALLICA – Finished 7th last time but was an attractive 2nd before that at Lyon Parilly over 2000m in a Handicap. The one to beat
  52. DIAMOND LINE – Finished near the back in 14th place on debut and will need to progress a lot from that before being considered for any bets. Pass by
  53. PRINCESSE TREZY – Has a good chance, ignore last run when 6th at Lyon Parilly and can threaten all the way home. Big chance
  54. ANNA MARLY – Improved last time to place 4th over 1900m and surely has more to offer. Good chance and a must for all bets
  55. GOLDEN ALQA – Good debut when 3rd at Chantilly but followed up with a non-improving effort when 7th over 2000m at Saint-Cloud. Lightly raced and can be forgiven for that. Place chance
  56. PLUS VITE – Is a son of U S Navy Flag out of a mare that never raced. He could be anything, but the market trends will be the best guide. Prefer others
  57. PINK JIMMY – Is by Jimmy Two Times out of a four-time winning mare. Might be able to be effective on debut. Watch the betting
  58. METAMORPHIC – Is a son of Hello Youmzain out of a Mark Of Esteem mare that more than likely will need the run
  59. SOSWEETY – Will be an outsider and a surprise if being effective on debut. Best to overlook for now
  60. KASHARA – More than likely will need a few runs to tighten up and others will be much the stronger. Pass by this debutante today
    Summary: ROSA GALLICA (6) has caught the attention in all four of her starts. She placed 7th in a Handicap at Fontainebleau on the 14th of March but is better judged on what she showed last year and is a worthy selection. DALAKIR (1) showed tremendous improvement at the second time of asking and with surely, more to come, can go very close. PRINCESSE TREZY (8) ran a cracker at her penultimate start and based on that alone, can earn and must be included in all betting calculations. SET O CITY (4) should be taken seriously.

KANELLE COLLONGES (11) should be in a good frame of mind after scoring on her latest start at Moulins last month. ISOLINE D’ALENE (5) is also worth a mention.

  88. MIRADOR – Can do way better than recent form suggests, ignore last run when way back and include in the quartet as the place value
  89. WEST MARTIN – His current form is not good and at various courses and over various distances. Would be a shock winner
  90. BAD ROMANCE – Lightly campaigned, finished 6th last time and more than likely can still progress. Chance
  91. BARBATE – Finished 10th last time and 13th before that. Would be a surprise if even placing. Ignore from all bets
  92. RUE JONAS – Hard to fancy and select on current and overall form and it is very hard to make a case for her. Pass by
    Summary: SALT FLAKE (1) showed last time when 2nd over 2400m at Pornichet on the 1st of March that the next win is very near. WEMATCH (3) is in hot form currently and can be given serious each way claims. KING KARA (5) was a winner three races back and placed 4th last time out off this same mark. She should be in the firing line. MIRADOR (7) has a first four chance and with a touch of luck, can go close.

  97. SPRINGBOKS – Ran a better race than last placing suggests at Pornichet on 26 March and has leading claims on previous efforts
  98. KAHOUNA – She placed 5th at Pornichet on the 13th of February but plenty more is required to earn here
  99. WHISPERING OCEAN – Finished 16th last time and 13th before that and even earlier form is uninspiring. Would be a shock if earning
  100. GALIWAY D’ANGE – Taking time to win but did place 4th over 2300m in a Handicap last time and can be in the shake up again. Good chance
  101. LADYSHOW – Finished 11th at Saint-Cloud over 2400m and has no form to speak about. Pass by
  102. WARDAMA – She is taking time to win but did place 3rd at Le Mand recently and has place claims again
  103. RAZI – Hard to make a case for on overall form. Placed at the back in most recent starts. Prefer others
  104. PRINCESS LAURA – Was a winner of her last start which was at Le Mans over 1950m in Handicap class and might be able to follow up. Chance
  105. LLOYD – Running well, placed 3rd at Pornichet on the 26th of last month. Each way chance
  106. LA PALOMBIERE – Ran at Le Mans on the 21st of March over 1950m in a Handicap and only managed 10th. Happy to ignore
  107. BARRAMEDA – Current form has been on the decline over various distances and courses for some time and is hard to fancy. Pass by
    Summary: MORNING FIVE (2) comes into the contest fresh off a victory at Senonnes over 2300m in a Handicap and is confidently selected to follow up despite the two kilos penalty. SPRINGBOKS (5) cas far from disgraced last time on fibersand and judged on earlier 2nd at Pornichet can have a big say in the outcome. Big danger to the first choice. GALIWAY D’ANGE (8) has a strong place chance. LLOYD (13) has been in good form of late and can be given consideration too.
