  6. LUXUEUSE DANICA – Much improved since goind barefoot and was third in a Class E Mounted race at Caen over 2450m on 26 March. Be right there at the finish yet again
  7. LUNE ROSE D’ALESA – Disappointing last run when 8th in Class D at Vincennes over 2100m on 4 April. Tries a Mounted race and could improve
  8. LELIA FRANCE – A runner-up in her last three starts, with the latest being in a Class E Mounted race at Caen over 2450m on 26 March. Should fight out the finish
  9. LECTINA – Needed her only start of the year and was tenth in Class E at Caen over 240m on 31 March. Barefoot and could score back under the saddle
    Summary: LECTINA (9) showed plenty of ability at Vincennes last winter and runs barefoot for the first time this Saturday. She looks very hard to oppose. LELIA FRANCE (8) has made significant progress since switching to mounted races and should go very close once again. LUXUEUSE DANICA (6) was a disappointing third at Caen last time but remains well-regarded and is capable of playing a major role in the finish. A runaway winner at Graignes last time out, LADY DES CHAMPS (3) looks to have more to offer and should not be underestimated.

    Summary: MARADONA ELLIS (8) has performed well over this course and distance before and is expected to bounce back from his below-par latest effort. He gets a narrow vote ahead of MURO (5), a talented trotter who also has some behavioral quirks. MISTER YELLOW (1) impressed when getting off the mark at Rouen and looks capable of following up with further improvement. MORE AND MORE (3) is knocking on the door and looks poised to break through sooner rather than later.

    Summary: Effective in both codes, in good form, and a previous winner over this course and distance, EROS ZOLA (1) has plenty in his favor and is the selection here. He is preferred to the consistent HARISON DU PLESSIS (2), who ran a solid third in his only previous attempt over this track and trip. ISTER MAN (3) finished behind these two rivals two starts ago and, in similar form, should be in the mix once again. A game sixth in a competitive Class B at Vincennes last time out, ILAYA (4) must be considered a solid each-way contender. INDUS VAL (13) arrives at the top of his game, having won over this course and distance last month.

    Summary: LORD FROMENTRO (2) has plenty of ability and can win a race of this caliber if he manages to get away cleanly. LEXCELLENT DU METZ (12) has shown significant improvement in his behavior in recent outings and looks a strong alternative should the selection underperform. Reunited with top driver Eric Raffin, LEBOSS D’HAVAROCHE (3) is one to monitor very closely. LOUIS QUATORZE (1) showed a nice return to form at Angers and has claims based on that performance.

    Summary: EMERAUDE DE BAIS (2) produced an impressive winning performance in the G1 Critérium de Vitesse at Cagnes-sur-Mer in early March. She backed that up with a strong run at Vincennes last time out and, from an ideal starting berth, looks poised to make a big impact once again. GO ON BOY (7) is a top-class performer looking for redemption after a disappointing effort and would not be a surprise winner. Runner-up in this race last year, HOHNECK (8) is very effective over this distance and should be right in the thick of things once more. Veteran ETONNANT (4) appears to be back to his best and cannot be discounted.

WARELIA (1) is not reliable but handles this distance well and must be given respect. BURLINGTON ARCADE (3) is in very good form and will not go down easily. ALGECIRAS (10) can also contest the finish.
