R1 VINCENNES [L-H]
C1 – PRIX TITANIA – 2850m (a2m) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR € 59,000
- BOCCADAMO – Pulled-up on comeback 2 weeks ago in a a 2700m Class D here, and is unlikely to influence the result
- COLBERT WF – Ran an excellent 2nd of 9 in a 2625m Class B at La Rochelle on 11 May. Imposed over track and trip earlier in the year and has a realistic chance of confirming
- CHEMAR – Sanctioned on re-entry over 2640m at San Siro on 25 April. Has been afforded time to recalibrate, is confirmed under these conditions, races barefoot, and is not about to disappoint
- L.A.BOKO – Produced a good effort to come 3rd of 9, a place behind COLBERT WF (2), in a 2625m Class B at La Rochelle on 11 May. Has placed in 2 of 3 starts over the main track and can bring the fight to COLBERT WF (2)
- COOL KRONOS – 6th of 11 in a 2800m Strasbourg Class D mid-May, on first start since February, but has a lot more to find
- MISTER DONALD – 9th of 16 in a 2100m Class D here on 2 May. Has not been the sharpest this year and others easier to back
- NICE PRESENT – 7th of 11, a place behind COOL KRONOS (5), in a 2800m Strasbourg Class D mid-May. Enjoys respectable course-and-distance references but may be taking on too much this time
- FALCOM DU BOCAGE – Failed to live up to expectations when 7th of 13 behind HURRICANE CARTER (9) in a 2700m Class C here 2 weeks ago. Form is not in question though and has nothing to prove under these conditions
- HURRICANE CARTER – Fine, consistent individual that ran 4th of 13 in a 2700m Class C here 2 weeks ago. Dips down the category-ladder and looks a serious proposition
- FEU DE REVOLTE – Produced 2 fine efforts before missing the break, being subsequently sanctioned, in a 2700m Class C here a week back. At a more reasonable level this time and with application can make his presence felt
- FINGER DES BORDES – Moves to a more reasonable category after running a respectable 7th of 16 in a 2700m Class C here a week ago. Is clearly in shape and with his mind on the game can make first 5
Summary: Sent for a break mid-February after winning 2 in a row, COLBERT WF (2) produced a strong performance on his seasonal return last month and, sporting a new configuration, should prove hard to beat over a trip that suits him well. Gabriele Gelormini will nonetheless be minded to watch L.A.BOKO (4) who ran close to him that day, and a reconfigured HURRICANE CARTER (9) who drops back in category after a good but somewhat lacklustre performance over 2700m recently. Unplaced on that occasion, FALCOM DU BOCAGE (8) has otherwise been in cracking form and will be expected to bounce back.

C2 – PRIX BILLETS DISCOUNT (PRIX KAITAIN) – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class D Race – Mounted – EUR € 59,000 - INES DE MAJEAN – Runner-up in last 2, latterly a 3000m Nantes Class G last week, but would be preferred barefoot
- JUPITER DU CORTA – Sanctioned in 3 of 4 this year, latterly a 2850m Laval harness Class D late-April. Will appreciate a return to the ridden code and with Mathieu Mottier in the irons will be afforded every chance
- JEROCASH DE PHYT’S – Made short work of his monte debut before being sanctioned in a 2800m Rambouillet harness Class F last week. Romain Marty back in the irons and can bring home the bacon if he keeps his charge focused
- JACARANDA – Made it 4 straight when easy winner of a Class C over track and trip on 10 January. Has not been seen out since but is barefoot for the occasion and can get straight down to business
- JALIMEDE – Back under the saddle after coming 4th of 16 in a 3150m Abbeville harness Class E on 11 May. At this level though will have too much to do
- JUNIOR BERDIERE – Disappointing in 2 here before running 3rd of 13, a place behind JOY FOR US (8), in a 2875m Meslay-du-Maine Class F mid-May. Hind shoes back on and is not about to return home empty-handed
- JOKER DU HAMEL – Back in his code of preference after coming 8th of 15 behind JALISCO FLIGNY (11) in a 2850m Maure Class F on 11 May. Hind shoes off this time but may just be taking on too much
- JOY FOR US – Scored at Enghien before coming 2nd of 13 in a 2875m Meslay-du-Maine Class F mid-May. Shoes off this time and will justifiably garner support
- JOKER DE FROULAY – Finished fast in a Class D over course and distance 3.5 weeks ago, coming 4th of 14, and will have a lot to contribute if Anthony Barrier keeps him out of trouble
- HATLAS DE MOUTIERS – Defied expectations when 2nd of 11 in a 2950m Vichy Class E on 11 May, his first monte start since 2021. Barefoot this time but others still preferred
- JALISCO FLIGNY – Failed to confirm Maure-de-Bretagne performance when 8th of 10 in a 3025m Montluçon harness Class E last week. Is no slouch in this branch of the business and is not to be ignored
Summary: Easy winner on his monte debut here 2 months ago, JOKER DE FROULAY (9) returns to the discipline shod as he was that day and, if applied, can make this his own. Romain Marty will still be keeping a keen eye on JOKER DE FROULAY (9) who produced quite the effort last time out, and the returning JACARANDA (4) who excels over 2700m here. JUPITER DU CORTA (2) has not raced under the saddle since 2022 but has significant ability, sports modified shoeing, and must be taken seriously.

C3 – PRIX TROPIQUES FM (PRIX MIMAS) – 2175m (a1m1/4) – Class C Race – Harness – EUR € 46,000 - LYRE DE BEYLEV – Useful sort but has not been seen out since coming 2nd of 8 in a 2150m Cagnes Class D on 24 January and is going to need the race
- LOVELY JIM – Produced a fine performance on Vincennes debut, coming very close 2nd of 12 in a Class D over 2175m on 6 May. Takes on a better lot this time but still looks competitive for a first-3 payout
- LAREDO BAY – Failed to confirm Salon victory when 7th of 9 behind LINOTTE DU MOUCHEL (4) in a 2100m Class D here on 9 May. Has never excelled at Vincennes and represents no more than a minor place chance
- LINOTTE DU MOUCHEL – In the frame in last 2 here, most recently 2nd of 9 in a 2100m Class D on 9 May. Paul Ploquin in the bike this time and can be confident of a first-5 cheque
- LIBERTY JOSSELYN – 5th of 13, a place behind LADY QUEEN (10), in a 2700m Class C here 3 weeks ago. Is plainly on the right road and will be competitive for a spot in the frame
- LOTTA LOVE – 8th of 13 behind LADY QUEEN (10) in a 2700m Class C here 3 weeks ago. Is not devoid of ability but is no fan of Vincennes and can be ruled out
- LA VIE EST BELLE – In the frame in last 2, latterly 3rd of 8 in a 2950m Vichy Class D on Monday. Has no love for the main track and backs up with limited ambition
- LORELEI DE REUX – Clearly going well when faulting in a 2700m Class C here mid-May. Is plainly in cracking form and Mathieu Mottier will be eager to put things right
- LUCIOLE DU VERTAIN – Showed improvement when 3rd of 9, a place behind LINOTTE DU MOUCHEL (4), in a 2100m Class D on 9 May. A repeat however seems improbable
- LADY QUEEN – Produced the season’s best performance 3 weeks ago when 4th of 13 in a 2700m Class C here. Is in her category and should be good enough to finish in the mix
- LITTLE CROWN – Close 2nd of 12 in a 2150m Vichy Class C 2.5 weeks ago, on just 2nd start back. Races barefoot again and will be expected to contest the finish
Summary: Sanctioned when full of running here 3 weeks ago, LORELEI DE REUX (8) was unable to confirm her late-April success, but already a winner over 2175m here, she must be in with a realistic shout of winning this. Nicely-entered here, LITTLE CROWN (11) returns to racing left-handed after going close at Vichy and Christophe Martens will be confident of another big run. Carefully-campaigned so far, LOVELY JIM (2) missed out by the smallest of margins under these conditions a month ago and her prospects look good. Entrusted to JMB this time, LIBERTY JOSSELYN (5) should not be far off the mark.

C4 – PRIX ADALBERTA – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR € 59,000 - GREAT ROCK – Courageous 2nd of 16 in a 2850m Class D here a week ago. Shoes on this time but starts in front and has a decent chance of imposing
- GLAMOUR YOMA – Returns to Paris after running 2nd of 15 in a 2575m Agen Class D last Saturday. In the frame in 4 of 7 under these conditions and the draw will do his chances no disservice
- HIVER D’AUTHISE – Last but one when preparing for this in a 3000m Chateaubriant Class E 12 days ago. Has never delivered under these conditions but goes barefoot with Anthony Barrier reining and from the 3-spot can play an active role
- GUEPARD DE TILLARD – Last of 17 when preparing for this in a 3000m Chateaubriant Class E 12 days ago. Is barefoot this time, and is well-placed behind the car, but others still easier to back
- HEAVEN STAR – Starts for first time since running 7th of 16 in a 2850m Laval Class D on 30 April. Placed last time in the day’s configuration and should not be ruled out
- HELITE ELEVEN – 8th of 11 in a 2700m monte Class D here 3.5 weeks ago. Here for reasons of conditioning and can be ignored
- GOUROU – 6th of 16 in a Class D over track and trip on 14 May. Takes on a better lot this time and chances appear limited
- HESCORT LOVE – Has not been seen out since faulting in a 2175m monte Class D here last January. Is plainly in competition-mode and even though breaking wide still has a lot to contribute
- HAMIGO – Easy winner of a 2850m Class D here on 9 May. Won his only start over a similar trip – Enghien 2020 – and even though unfavourably drawn must still be considered a contender
- HUGO DU BOURG – 10th of 16 behind GREAT ROCK (1) in a 2850m Class D here a week ago. Sports an old configuration and appears to have other priorities
- HORS SAISON – Has struggled to make her mark this season, latterly 8th of 10 in a 2700m Class D here 3 weeks ago. On the back line and others preferred
- GOLD PEJI – Disappointing in last 2 here, most recently sanctioned last weekend in a 2850m Class D. Handed a back-row draw and is not a concern
- HEXCELLENTE – Left a good impression on return from a spell when 5th of 16 behind GREAT ROCK (1) in a 2850m Class D here a week ago. Will have been buoyed by the run and must not be overlooked
- FALCO DU HAMEL – Encouraged at Niort before coming 7th of 14 in a 3150m Class A at La Roche-Posay last Sunday. Has no love for these particular conditions and can be passed over
- HORIZON D’EYMY – Fine servant that ran good 5th of 13 in a Class D over track and trip on 18 April. Badly-drawn but has freshness on his side and in this company can return to victorious ways
- HOTEL MYSTIC – 7th of 13 behind HORIZON D’EYMY (15) in a Class D over track and trip on 18 April. Is plainly better than that, boasts fine course-and-distance credentials, and can make a big splash
Summary: A proper speedster that seldom disappoints under these conditions, HORIZON D’EYMY (15) is better than his latest result would suggest and despite an unenviable draw still looks the horse to beat. Kristof Depuydt will still want to be wary of the similarly-badly-drawn HOTEL MYSTIC (16) who was not far off him last time out. HESCORT LOVE (8) starts wide and has not been seen out since January, but is barefoot for re-entry and must be taken seriously. HAMIGO (9) got straight down to business on comeback here last month and will be dangerous if Mathieu Mottier successfully navigates the start. Even though shod following last week’s fine performance, GREAT ROCK (1) can still get in on the action.

C5 – PRIX TRACE TV (PRIX DE GIEN) – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Gr3 Race – Harness – EUR € 70,000 - MONTEQUILLO – Has been showing the limits of his capacity recently, latterly sanctioned in 20 May race of reference, and others easier to back
- MORE AND MORE – Showed improvement when 2nd of 6 finishers in a 2200m Caen Class B on 10 May. Cannot be considered a priority but is still good enough to finish in the mix
- MARADONA ELLIS – Got off the mark at Enghien in April but failed to confirm when sanctioned in 20 May race of reference, and others make more reliable appeal
- MANTLER DE SIMM – Sanctioned in a monte Gr.3 over course and distance 10 days ago and will have other ambitions
- MAC KINLEY – Useful element but has not raced since winning a 2925m Cagnes Class A in early-March and best to hold off
- MERCATOR – In the frame in all 3 this term, latterly 2nd to MAGIC MAN (12) in a Class A over course and distance 2.5 weeks ago and can trot his way into the picture
- MARSHAL DE CELLAND – Makes first appearance since finishing 10th of 11 in a Gr.2 over course and distance last December and is going to need the race
- MARZIPAN – Ran 2nd to MAHARAJA ATOUT (9) before coming 3rd of 14 to MAGIC MAN (12) in a Class A over course and distance 2.5 weeks ago and is unlikely to be far off the mark
- MAHARAJA ATOUT – Made it 4 on the trot when victorious in a Class A under these conditions on 29 April. Comes here fresh and has the wherewithal to keep his unbeaten record intact
- MISTRAL DU GOUTIER – Dependable sort that came 4th of 8 behind MERCATOR (6) in a 2800m Cholet Class D on 28 April. Unlikely to get his nose in front but can nonetheless challenge for a spot in first 5
- MYSTIC SONATO – Drops back down the class ladder after coming 5th of 8 in a 2175m Gr.2 here on re-entry 10 days ago. Should be sufficiently tuned-up and can challenge for a place in the frame
- MAGIC MAN – Quality colt that took his win-rate to 60 percent when facile winner of a Class A over course and distance 2.5 weeks ago and can repeat
Summary: Undefeated in all 4 starts to date, MAHARAJA ATOUT (9) won unopposed over course and distance in late-April and steps up in category with every chance of pulling off the 5-timer. Third to him that day before dominating a similar event 3 weeks later, MAGIC MAN (12) is the obvious danger. Runner-up to Etienne Dubois’ colt, MERCATOR (6) has been knocking at the door and should again finish close, as should MYSTIC SONATO (11) who will have progressed for his Gr.2 comeback run.

C6 – PRIX D’ISTRES – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Gr3 Race – Harness – EUR € 70,000 - GINEAH DANCE – Sanctioned when unsupported in 20 May race of reference and runs here on a prayer
- TULIPE OASIS – Acquitted herself honourably to run 4th in race of reference. Unlikely to create an upset but can nevertheless hold her own
- MYRENA – Useful Italian filly that has been sanctioned in both Vincennes starts, latterly 20 May race of reference, and is unlikely to generate much interest
- GIULIA PLAY – Takes first French steps after finishing last but one over 1600m in Modena on 11 May and is unlikely to shake things up
- GOGGIA – 4th of 6 over 2080m in Naples on 21 April. Benjamin Rochard in the bike for Vincennes debut but may just be making on too much
- MANHATTAN RAIN – Tricky sort that imposed at Caen but was quickly sanctioned in 20 May race of reference, and others preferred
- MY HAPPY STORY – Lost her maiden tag in a Class C under these conditions 2 weeks ago. Improves with every run and has a solid chance of finishing close
- MORNING NEWS – Finished close 3rd of 8 finishers in, but should have won, a Class A over track and trip on 20 May. Has been knocking at the door and can finally get that maiden monkey off her back
- MARILOU – Won 3 on the trot, the last a Class A under these conditions, before coming 9th of 13, a place behind MELODY COOL (12), in a G.2 over course and distance on 9 May. Has buckets of ability and is not without her chances
- MARGAUX DES ARRIS – Spirited filly that was sanctioned on re-entry in a 2175m Gr.2 here 10 days ago. Seldom far from faulting but will be no pushover if Francois Lagadeuc keeps her focused
- MIRISS DE GUEZ – Just missed out to MOSAIC LIFE (13) in a Class A over course and distance2.5 weeks ago. JMB in the bike again and will expect to set the record straight
- MELODY COOL – Takes a dip in category after coming 8th of 13 in a G.2 over course and distance on 9 May but still has nothing to offer
- MOSAIC LIFE – Won a Class A under these conditions before being sanctioned in a 2175m Gr.2 here 10 days back. Is plainly in rude health though and can makes amends and impose
Summary: The only thing that came between MORNING NEWS (8) and victory here last month was her own temperament. Alexandre Abrivard has maintained faith though and will be eager to offer her a maiden win. The well-engaged MOSAIC LIFE (13) imposed that day and with application can repeat. 3rd placed MIRISS DE GUEZ (11) is a game filly and should again figure prominently, but may have to defer to MY HAPPY STORY (7) who has been progressing well lately.

C7 – PRIX MARSIK – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR € 46,000 - KYMJO DE BELFOND – Sanctioned in a 2875m Argentan Class E on 25 May. Is no slouch when focused and reverts to a proven formula with a reasonable chance of picking up a cheque
- KER DE TOUES – 6th of 8 finishers behind KASSOUMAYE (11) in a 2950m Le Mans Class E a fortnight ago. Has never delivered over 2700m here and is not about to buck the trend
- KALEO DE BANVILLE – Comfortable winner of a 2825m Class F at Sablé-sur-Sarthe 12 days ago. Has won 5 of 6 for Jean-Michel Bazire and is not about to let the side down. Chance
- KOOPLES ERA – Pleasant in last 2 harness starts, most recently 4th of 11 in a 2400m Beaumont-de-Lomagne Class E a fortnight back. Mathieu Mottier reining this time but still faces a stiff test on Vincennes bow
- KARMA TEJY – Reassuring 3rd of 8 finishers, a place behind KASSOUMAYE (11), in a 2950m Le Mans Class E a fortnight ago. 4 pads fitted for first time and in similar shape will be no pushover
- KADOR D’OURVILLE – Has not been seen out since running 10th of 12 in a 3125m Angers Class E in early-April. Has never disappointed here and even though in decent company is still worth keeping an eye on
- KAID FORTUNA – Oddly below-par 7th of 10 in a 2700m Class D at Le Croise-Laroche on 21 May. Is being aimed too high and chances slim
- KING STALLION – Complicated but talented type that ran a good 6th of 14 in a 3000m Chateaubriant Class E on 25 May despite being unsure of stride. Top driver in the bike this time and can open his harness account
- KILIMANDJARO PLAYA – 11th of 14 when being prepared for this in a 2875m Meslay Class E mid-May. Won his only start under these conditions and looks eminently capable of repeating
- KRISTO STAR – 13th of 16 when preparing for this in a 2950m Le Mans Class E a month back. Goes barefoot this time and even though never having delivered here is nonetheless difficult to ignore
- KASSOUMAYE – Ran 3rd at Ecommoy before being beaten only by a very good horse in a 2950m Le Mans Class E a fortnight ago, and will again be competitive for a spot on the podium
Summary: Known more for his monte prowess, KING STALLION (8) showed at Chateaubriant late last month that he was no slouch under harness and the engagement of Yoann Lebourgeois speaks volumes. Barefoot as he was when successful over course and distance last November, KILIMANDJARO PLAYA (9) is an obvious consideration, as is the nicely-entered KASSOUMAYE (11) who looks close to his race. Winner in the provinces late last month, KALEO DE BANVILLE (3) is barefoot for the first time at Vincennes and JMB renews his confidence.

C8 – PRIX LYDIA – 2850m (a2m) – Class C Race – Mounted – EUR € 46,000 - MALLAURY D’AVEL – Debuts in the discipline following a brace of sanctions, most recently a 2800m Vire harness Class F in early-May. Has bags of potential though and should not be underestimated
- MINILADY D’ODYSSEE – Sanctioned in a 2325m Toulouse Class D on 9 May, first time out, and can be passed over
- MUSIQUE NAY – Sanctioned, on career debut a month ago, in a 2300m Le Mans Class F and is not about to spice things up on monte bow
- MARGATE – Sanctioned on comeback – and monte debut – in 20 May race of reference, and is unlikely to influence the outcome
- MAJESTEDARCHE – Has not been seen out since finishing last of 6 in a Class C over 2700m here 4 months ago. Is no star and likely to prove the point
- MADISON MATIDY – Produced a good effort to come 3rd of 11, a place behind MARION D’HAFLING (7), in a 2450m Caen Class E 3 weeks ago. Will have come on for the run and looks the main threat once more
- MARION D’HAFLING – Just missed out on monte debut in a 2450m Caen Class E 3 weeks ago. Looks a serious future prospect and can wrap this up
- MARIT MARIANNE – 4th of 5 finishers behind MARCIE DE L’AUNAY (13) in a 2175m Class D here on 20 May. Adrien Lamy stays faithful and can get a look-in
- MAJUSCULE – Sanctioned more often than not, latterly a 2175m Class D here 2.5 weeks ago, and can expect to have few friends
- MUNHOA VEDAQUAISE – Spirited but talented filly that was sanctioned in a 2175m Class D here on 20 May. Will appreciate the return to a more even surface and, with application, can more than make amends
- MAJESTY QUICK – Takes to the ridden code for first time after finishing last of 11 in a 2150m Enghien harness Class D in late-April. Paul Ploquin gets the nod and will afford his filly every chance
- MADINA MESLOISE – 3rd of 5 finishers, a place behind MARCIE DE L’AUNAY (13), in a 2175m Class D here on 20 May. Has shown decent aptitude and while not a priority can still pick up some prizemoney
- MARCIE DE L’AUNAY – Beaten only by a very good horse in a 2175m Class D here 2.5 weeks ago. Should have no issue with the inner course and must be considered a respectable place prospect
Summary: MARION D’HAFLING (7) looked a very different horse at Caen last month when switched to the ridden code for the first time, and under these conditions looks thoroughly capable of opening her account. She will still face resistance from MADISON MATIDY (6) who finished a place behind her that day, and the complicated MUNHOA VEDAQUAISE (10) who was unlucky over the main track late last month. MARCIE DE L’AUNAY (13) is plainly on the right road and the longer trip may be just what the doctor ordered.

- WOODSTONE – Two unplaced runs of late, 4th before that over 1950m at Dortmund (DEU) on February 2nd in a conditions race. Place chance
- LOUVRE – 9th on the one run over 1900m in a claimer at Deauville on December 19th. Turf debut and is best watched
- ASTERALE – One unplaced run over 2000m at this track on May 20th. Needs to make vast progress to be involved
Summary: ZOOM CHOP (4) has been found a good opportunity by connections to get a win at his third attempt. The drop back in trip should not be a concern, and he can get another success. ACOTANGO (3) was fifth on the last run in mid-May and warrants respect. I’M A BELIEVER (1) is another to keep onside; his second at Chantilly in March was encouraging. WOODSTONE (5) makes up the shortlist.
