C1 – PRIX FRANCE ALZHEIMER/CANARI MATCH – 2600m (a1m1/2) – Class E Race – Harness – EUR € 20,000
- MADISON HUB – Has not been seen out since being disqualified in a 2200m Vincennes monte Class D last April. Here for reasons of conditioning and poses no danger
- MAESTRO BLANC – 4th of 11 in a 2950m Le Mans Class E on 26 July. Consistently gives everything he has and the draw will only stand him in good stead. Place chance
- MOMO DE MIENNAIS – Failed to confirm La Gacilly success when eliminated in a 2725m Pornichet Class E a month ago. Starts from 3-spot but still cannot be considered a priority
- MAESTRO D’IDEF – 6th of 9 finishers in a 2650m Class E at Les Sables-d’Olonne earlier in the month. Has been showing the limits of his capacity and can be passed over
- MASCARET DEFF – Lacklustre 6th of 13 in a 2725m Cabourg Class E 9 days ago. Has pulled a good number though and should not be ruled out
- MAGICIEN D’OZ – Placed twice going clockwise before losing his action in a 2400m Amiens Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Showed his form thereafter however and must be considered a player
- MARCELLO – Made up for a pair of eliminations when 5th of 14 in a 2400m Chateaubriant Class E on 8 August. Anthony Barrier in the bike this time and even though breaking wide, should not be far from the action
- MON ROI – Unexceptional of late, latterly eliminated in a 2150m Argentan Class E last weekend, and will have nothing to contribute
- MARCELLO SALICE – Unplaced at Saint-Malo before losing his action in a 2650m Portbail Class F last Sunday and is unlikely to generate much interest
- MINOTOR D’ALOUETTE – Qualified in 1’16”5 before debuting victoriously in a 2500m Questembert Class H on 13 July. Chavatte horses in cracking form and the double looks decidedly possible
- MONOGAME – Did everything right first time out, winning a 2550m Gournay-en-Bray Class H 2 weeks ago. On back line but is not incapable of making it 2 on the trot
- MARQUIS DU SAPHIR – Serious sort that ran 3rd of 11 in a 2400m Class H at Rochefort-sur-Loire on 20 July. Not ideally-placed on 2nd line but still has the capacity to get in on the action
Summary: After qualifying superbly in May, MINOTOR D’ALOUETTE (10) went on to open his account at the first time of asking, and even though handed a tough draw here, still looks the one to beat. Alain Chavatte will still be mindful of the promising MONOGAME (11) who similarly did everything asked of him a fortnight back, and the better-positioned MAESTRO BLANC (2) who has been knocking at the door. Encouraging at Chateaubriant, MARCELLO (7) will have a good hand to play if Anthony Barrier keeps him trotting.

- LATINO ELDE – Eliminated in last 4, latterly a 2950m Saint-Malo harness Class F on 12 August. Has bags of ability though and can make this his own if he deigns to keep his action together
- L’AMI PRODIGIEUX – Ran 2nd at Saint-Jean-de-Monts but unable to replicate when eliminated in a 3000m Rochefort-sur-Loire Class F 2 weeks ago, and can be passed over
- LOUSTIC DES MACE – Lost his maiden status, by a country mile, before being eliminated in a 3000m Rochefort-sur-Loire Class F a fortnight ago. Takes on a better lot here but will be no soft touch if she keeps trotting
- LEGATO – Finished well in a 2750m Cabourg Class E late last month only to be eliminated. Forced to incur the penalty this time but with shoes back on can make amends
- LEREVEUR D’HERIPRE – Under harness won 2 in a row (including over track and trip) before losing his action in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class F 3.5 weeks ago. Barefoot for first appearance under the saddle and must be considered a priority
- L’APPASSIONATO – Courageous 4th of 6 at Vichy but failed to confirm when last but one in a 2750m Cabourg Class E early this month and the extra 25m will do him no favours
- L’AIGLE PASS – Unexceptional 6th of 8 in a 2950m Saint-Malo Class F last Tuesday and appears to have no possible chance
Summary: Complicated he most certainly is but LATINO ELDE (5) is by no means devoid of talent. Already proven under the saddle, he returns to the code, with with Anthony Barrier aboard, and with application can impose. That said, 2nd line starter and monte debutant, LEREVEUR D’HERIPRE (9) has been in cracking form and racing barefoot with Luka Ott in the irons will be afforded every chance. The delicate LOUSTIC DES MACE (7) got off the mark last month, benefits from a terrific entry, and will be no easy touch if Clea Roger keeps him focused. LONGING VENESI (1) was fighting out the finish of his monte debut before losing his action but has shoes fitted this time and on better behaviour should logically make amends.

C3 – PRIX DE LA BAIE DU MONT SAINT MICHEL – 2600m (a1m1/2) – Class E Race – Harness – EUR € 20,000 - LUCKY DES GAUDINES – Not the most fortunate when 6th of 12 in a 2750m Cabourg Class E on 25 July. Starts on the inside here, has been reconfigured, and is worth monitoring
- LEDETROIT CHENOU – Made up for his ridden sanction when courageous 2nd of 14 in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class E on 24 July. Has form in the day’s configuration and looks the horse to beat
- LANDSMAN – Unplaced in last 2, most recently 10th of 12 behind LUCKY DES GAUDINES (1) in a 2750m Cabourg Class E on 25 July. Handed a good draw though and David Thomain will be keen to make hay
- LAETITIA MONTVASON – Eliminated, on left-handed debut, in a 2875m Enghien Class E 2 weeks ago. Will be more at home here and the draw will only enhance her already good prospects
- LOLLIPOP MIJACK – Moderate 5th of 10 in a 2875m Enghien Class E 3 weeks ago. Nicely placed in front but still needs to find more
- LASER GEMA – Quality element that ran last of 10 in a 2900m Clairefontaine Class E conditioner on 13 July. Is in competition-mode this time and can challenge for the win
- LILAS D’ECHAL – 6th of 11 finishers behind LAETITIA MONTVASON (4) in a 2750m Cabourg Class E on 22 July. Should be fully-fit by now and the engagement of Yoann Lebourgeois will do her prospects no disservice
- LOOK DES ECUS – Eliminated in a 2850m Meslay-du-Maine Class B late last month. Benefits from an excellent entry though and with application can go far
- LEADER STREET – Last but one on re-entry in a 2750m Cabourg Class E late last month. Has evident ability but may just be a race shy
- LICORNVERASPERANZA – Returns to the code after finishing 6th of 9 finishers in a 2750m Cabourg monte Class E early this month but recent numbers do nothing to inspire confidence
- L’ARNACOEUR – 8th of 12 behind LUCKY DES GAUDINES (1) in a 2750m Cabourg Class E on 25 July and would be preferred competitively-shod
- LILI DU CHERISAY – Eliminated in a 2800m Langon Class E late last month but was victorious the time before in decent company. Forced to break from the rear but will be no pushover if he turns
- LYX OF CAMARO – Unable to confirm Cherbourg victory when 7th of 9 in a 2875m Enghien Class E 2.5 weeks ago and will need to raise his game
Summary: Back racing right-handed after running a valiant 2nd at Mauquenchy recently, LEDETROIT CHENOU (2) enjoys a good spot in front, sports pads this time, and is in with a shout of making his Mont-Saint-Michel debut a winning one. Excellent in 2024, LASER GEMA (6) has a pair of runs under his belt and, racing first-time barefoot, may yet prove the main danger. A winner on re-entry, LAETITIA MONTVASON (4) should appreciate the new profile and from the 4-spot will have a lot to contribute. LILI DU CHERISAY (12) goes clockwise for just the 2nd time but has form in her favour and with application can finish close.

C4 – PRIX DE LA SEE – 2000m (a1m1/4) – Class F Race – Harness – EUR € 20,000 - JULIE DU PERCHE – Failed to confirm Langon effort when 10th of 12 in a 3500m Class F at Sillé-le-Guillaume last weekend. Hind shoes off this time but others still preferred
- JABOROSA BLUE – Comfortable winner of a 2575m Gournay-en-Bray amateurs Class H 2 weeks ago. Has been handed a good draw and, given her record here, should not disappoint
- JOLYA DE POMMERAYE – 3rd of 10 in a 3150m Granville amateurs Class H a fortnight back. Has a lot going for him here and is thoroughly capable of imposing
- JETSET MOKO – Last but one in a 3025m Montier-en-Der Class H a week ago. Nicely positioned in front but has no possible chance
- JOSIE DE MIENNAIS – Out of the picture in last 3, latterly eliminated in a 2950m Dinan Class F 2 weeks ago, and despite a good draw and a new configuration, will struggle to make her mark
- JOLIE FLEUR OR – Has not been seen out since running 7th of 15 in a 2150m Enghien claimer last March, and even though barefoot still cannot be considered a priority
- JINA FAST – Got back in the game at Amiens 2.5 weeks ago when 4th of 15 in a 2900m Class E. Is not a priority but with Francois Lagadeuc reining should not be ignored
- JOSIE NONANTAISE – Made up for Cabourg disappointment when victorious in a 2425m Class F earlier in the month. Not ideally-drawn but the engagement of Lebourgeois should compensate for that. Chance
- JADORE GIRL – Has struggled of late, most recently 9th of 15 in a 2725m Pornichet Class F 10 days ago, but is reunited with the driver who placed with her at Saint-Malo and should not be overlooked
- JADORE CERIZE – Eliminated in a 2625m Plouescat Class H 2 weeks ago. Not short of ability but has been struggling of late and must get her house in order
- JAVA JONES – Twice 3rd in last 3 starts, latterly a 2650m Portbail Class H a week ago. Goes well for Tony Le Beller and is sufficiently well placed to give this a good go
- JASMINA DES PRES – Lost her action in a 2725m Avranches Class F earlier in the month and in current condition will have nothing to offer
- JACINTHE DES BOIS – Eliminated in last 3, latterly a 2650m Portbail Class H a week ago, and can be confidently ruled out
- JOYCE MESS – In the frame in last 2, latterly 3rd of 10 in a 2625m Class G at Saint-Jean-de-Monts 2 weeks ago and with shoes off for the occasion will be no pushover
- JANA D’ARMOR – 7th of 11 in a 2725m Graignes Class G 3 weeks ago. Handed a tough draw and has no realistic chance
Summary: Very hard to fault for the past month, JOLYA DE POMMERAYE (3) returns to the professional ranks, with David Thomain in the bike, and from the 3-spot can win this. Forced to start wide, but nevertheless coming here off the back of a win, JOSIE NONANTAISE (8) will be reined by Yoann Lebourgeois and looks the principal danger. Back barefoot after placing twice on turf, JOYCE MESS (14) has pulled a tough number but in present shape is easy to like for a place in the frame. Confirmed here and clearly in excellent shape, JABOROSA BLUE (2) also steps back up in category but the draw will do her chances no disservice.

C5 – PRIX DE BEAUVOIR – 2000m (a1m1/4) – Class F Race – Harness – EUR € 20,000 - JOKER DU CHOQUEL – Put his Avranches elimination behind him when successful in a 2650m Le Sap claimer last weekend. Alexis Collette in the bike this time and is unlikely to go home empty-handed
- JACOB DE MIENNAIS – 2nd of 9 finishers in a 2700m Avranches monte Class F on 5 August. Shoes on this time though and best to hold off
- JUSTE DE MELLERAY – 8th of 12 in a 3500m Sille-le-Guillaume Class F 8 days ago. Has been struggling lately and must first begin to reassure
- JIVAGO DE BEYLEV – Pleasantly surprised at Biarritz but failed to repeat when 10th of 13 in a 3125m Questembert Class F 2 weeks ago and can be passed over
- JACK SPARROW GEPE – 9th of 12, a place behind JUSTE DE MELLERAY (3), in a 3500m Sille-le-Guillaume Class F 8 days ago. Was not disgraced here last month but others still easier to back
- JOUR DES RACQUES – 5th of 8 finishers behind JERO DE PHYT’S (10) in a 2700m Class F at La Capelle on 21 July. Arguably better racing right-handed and with pads fitted this time is easy to fancy for the spoils
- JUNINIO FLEURY – 13th of 16 in a 2550m Gournay Class H 2 weeks ago and in current shape has no realistic chance
- JEU DECISIF – Failed to confirm Vichy victory when last but one behind JEAN MAJYC (14) in a 2650m Class F at Les Sables-d’Olonne mid-July. Not the most reliable but is the wealthiest horse here and should not be overlooked
- JUST HAUFOR – Lost his action on comeback 3 weeks ago in a 2900m Guerlesquin Class F. Looked to be in fine shape though and despite the tough draw can make a big splash
- JERO DE PHYT’S – Ran 3rd at La Capelle before coming 5th of 12 behind JEAN MAJYC (14) in a 2650m Class F at Les Sables-d’Olonne 12 days ago. Anthony Barrier would have preferred a better draw but still looks competitive. Place chance
- JAMBALAYA – Ran 2nd at Cherbourg mid-July before coming 6th of 18 in a 2725m Pornichet Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Forced to start on back row and even reined by Francois Lagadeuc is no more than a minor place chance
- JEWEL CASH – Off the boil this year, most recently eliminated in a 2650m Class F at Les Sables-d’Olonne mid-July, and can be disregarded
- JUST LOVE D’ALSACE – Won 2 in a row before coming 4th of 13 in a 2625m Saint-Jean-de-Monts Class F last weekend. Shod as he was when placing here last November and warrants respect
- JEAN MAJYC – Surprised somewhat when 2nd of 12 in a 2650m Class F at Les Sables-d’Olonne 12 days ago. Is new to the venue but a repeat performance would see him finish close once more
Summary: In decidedly good shape, and back racing clockwise, JOUR DES RACQUES (6) sports pads for the first time and from the front row should be good enough to win a race of this nature. JUST HAUFOR (9) is less favourably drawn and was eliminated on re-entry but he nevertheless showed his form and with application could yet trot off with the silverware. JEAN MAJYC (14) may not have pulled the best of draws but he produced a good effort at Les Sables-d’Olonne and has been entrusted to Yoann Lebourgeois for the occasion. 5th that day, JERO DE PHYT’S (10) appears to be back on track and can challenge for a spot on the podium.

C6 – PRIX DE LA SELUNE – 2675m (a1m1/2) – Class E Race – Harness – EUR € 23,000 - KELLY DU LOUVET – Somewhat surprising 2nd of 13 in a 2950m Dinan Class H on 3 August. In this company though will have little to offer
- KETBERNY – Unexceptional in last 3, latterly 6th of 11 finishers in a 2775m Class G at Les Sables-d’Olonne a fortnight ago. Starts in front but still appears to have too much to do
- KAID BOURGEOIS – Encouraged at Guerlesquin but failed to confirm when eliminated in a 2725m Pornichet Class F 10 days ago. Is no slouch when focused though and the Franck Nivard-factor cannot be ignored
- KID SMILE – Sports a new configuration after running 5th of 15 in a 2750m Cabourg Class F on 22 July. Breaks in front and will not be sent out at 33/1 this time
- KROCANTO BELLO – 3rd of 14 on comeback in a 2650m Portbail Class F last weekend. Will have come on for the run and, shod as he was when imposing at Toulouse last season, has every chance of winning this
- KOBRA JENILOU – Facile winner of a 2800m Vire Class E on 25 June. Has had ample time to freshen up and in similar shape can double his money
- KIMY SIMARDIERE – Returns to racing shod after being quickly eliminated in a 2300m Chateaubriant Class F 9 days ago. Enjoys a good entry but others still easier to back
- KELMONDO BOY – Has hardly put a foot out of line this term, most recently 4th of 16 in a 2875m Meslay-du-Maine Class E on 29 July. Has an extra 25m to cover this time but can still play an active role
- KELLE EAU – Opened her summer account 3 weeks ago in a 2875m Enghien claimer. Takes on a better lot this time and even from the back line can get a look in
- KANARY BAY – 4th of 11 in a 2950m Saint-Malo Class E 11 days ago. Entrusted to Alexis Collette this time and even from the 2nd row can make a big impact
- KARPANINO – Continued his poor ways when falling in a 2975m Dinan claimer on 4 August and is not about to shake things up
- KARAT COOL – Won 3 of last 4, most recently a 3025m Lucon Class F on 20 July. Incurs the penalty, and is better racing left-handed, but in present shape is easy to like for a first-5 cheque
Summary: A few in contention here but advantage goes to front-row starters, most notably the lightly-campaigned KROCANTO BELLO (5) who is shod to preference following a fine re-entry run just a week ago. KOBRA JENILOU (6) however is a model of consistency, boasts a 50% win-rate, and will be expected to put up significant resistance. Competitively-shod for the first time this year, KID SMILE (4) will be dangerous if still on the boil. Winner over 2600m here last month, KANARY BAY (10) is 25m worse off but is like a horse reborn and must be afforded respect.

C7 – PRIX DU COUESNON – 2600m (a1m1/2) – Class E Race – Harness – EUR € 30,000 - EUDES DE L’AUNAY – Sprang a 31/1 surprise when 4th of 9 finishers in a 2600m Class E here in late-June. Comes here fresh but a repeat seems most unlikely
- HIT PERRINE – Has struggled somewhat since imposing at Chartres in May, latterly 7th of 9 finishers in a 2950m Le Mans Class E late last month. Not disgraced here mid-July though and must be worth retaining
- GRANIT DU MONT – 8th of 14 in a 2725m Cabourg Class E earlier in the month. Has done nothing noteworthy for some time and is not about to change his ways
- HELIOS D’ANCLEMAX – Not as sharp as he was during the spring, most recently 5th of 11 in a 2950m Saint-Malo Class E last Tuesday, but backs up with pads, and David Thoamin aboard, and is not to be underestimated
- HEROS DE CHOISEL – Had 2nd in his grasp before faulting in a 2725m Pornichet Class 2.5 weeks ago, but can set the record straight if he keeps his action together
- HOTESSE NAY – Made up for Cabourg blip when 3rd of 9 in a 2900m Amiens Class E a month back. On the front line here and is very much in the picture
- GRAFFITI BOND – Well-beaten 6th of 7 in a 3325m Trie-sur-Baise Class F on 5 August and is not about to influence the outcome
- HOPE YOU CAN – 2nd at Bagnoles-de-l’Orne but failed to repeat when last of 14 in a 2850m Brehal Class F a fortnight back and can expect to have few friends
- HARRYBEAU DE COUET – Back under harness after coming 2nd of 8 in a 2625m monte Class F at Saint-Jean-de-Monts a week ago. Hind pads fitted this time and should not be overlooked
- HELLO DE LOIRON – Won a 2600m Josselin Class H a week ago. Has been a model of consistency since the spring and must again be considered a leading contender
- HISTOIRE DU LUPIN – Made it 2 on the trot when lifting a 2950m Saint-Malo amateurs Class F 11 days ago. Takes on a better lot this time but will still be competitive for a place on the podium
Summary: HEROS DE CHOISEL (5) may not be the most dependable of horses but he would have come 2nd last time had he kept trotting; he sports front pads for the occasion and Anthony Barrier will be determined to put things right. Less-favourably drawn, a barefoot HELLO DE LOIRON (10) is nevertheless at the top of his game and a repeat of his recent Josselin performance is not impossible. Barring his penultimate effort, HOTESSE NAY (6) has been firing on all cylinders and Yoann Lebourgeois can be confident of a big run. Back in the professional ranks in a bid to complete the hat-trick, HISTOIRE DU LUPIN (11) starts on the back line and looks more a place chance this time around.

C8 – PRIX DE MOIDREY – 2675m (a1m1/2) – Class E Race – Harness – EUR € 23,000 - KYRIA BELLA – Won her 2nd of the season 11 days ago when dominating a 2950m Saint-Malo Class E earlier in the month and is in with a realistic shout of making it two in a row
- KASH DES RIOULTS – Hardy element that finished 10th of 14 behind KING DE GINAI (5) on comeback in a 2750m Cabourg Class D on 25 July. Shod to preference this time and, winner on his only start here, is legitimately out to confirm
- KRACKSMAN – Lost his action in a 2825m Sable-sur-Sarthe monte Class E a week ago. Is hard to knock when barefoot under harness and with Yoann Lebourgeois in the bike will be afforded every chance
- KANDIE DJOB – Capable sort but disappointing this term, latterly 8th of 10 finishers in a 2800m Bernay Class E on 13 July. Shoes fitted and can be confidently disregarded
- KING DE GINAI – Made up for Enghien elimination when 2nd of 14 in a 2750m Cabourg Class D on 25 July, and in this company can go one place better
- KNOK – 4th of 6 finishers in a 2425m Sainte-Marie-du-Mont Class F when preparing for this. Races barefoot this time but is better going clockwise and others preferred
- KAROLINE CALINE – Placed twice before being eliminated in a 2800m Bernay Class E on 13 July. Reunited with Anthony Barrier, for whom she goes well, and must be considered a player
- JOKER DU MATCH – 5th of 14 in a 2725m Cabourg Class F on 11 July. Gives a good account for the most part but may just find the going a bit too tough
- KOSY D’ERONVILLE – Makes first appearance since running 6th of 13 in a 2100m Vincennes Class D in early-May and with shoes fitted will have nothing to contribute
- JAPPELOU – Got back in the game at Royan last weekend when 3rd of 15 in a 2475m Class F. Takes on the 5yo’s this time but has been reconfigured and can still make first 5
Summary: Although not easy to gauge at the best of times, KING DE GINAI (5) nonetheless gave a fine account of himself at Cabourg last month and Franck Nivard has stayed faithful. He will still be paying close attention to a reconfigured KYRIA BELLA (1) who has not put a foot out of line this year, and KASH DES RIOULTS (2) who is competitively-shod for his first objective of the summer. KRACKSMAN (3) won at Clairefontaine under harness last month and returns to the discipline with a lot to offer.

- JAAMIR – 6th on his last run over 1600m at Ostende (BEL) in a conditions race on July 28th. Hardly inspiring form

Summary: TRIPTAJIKA (5) ran a solid race on the PSF at Deauville 12 days ago when beaten in a close finish into second. She acts well on turf and is preferred ahead of AKAGERA (8), who shaped encouragingly when she was third at Vichy 8 days ago over 2000m in a Class 4 race. Summary: BUFFALO WOMAN (4) has been consistent recently with four placed efforts. Her third at Vichy 10 days ago was a credible performance, and a third behind ROSALITA (5) in late July over this course and distance on her penultimate start was a solid run. On more favoured weight terms, she can beat her old rival. LIGHT FACTOR (8) has shown promise in four runs and can make the top three. SAN FANTASMA (11) is also worth considering.

- SCOFIELD – Colt on debut by Armor, the dam ran a few times without a win. Likely to need this run unless the betting market speaks volumes
- OBLENSKHY – Unraced colt by Fas, the dam won 1 race over 1600m. A respected trainer who can ready a debutante to perform well. Monitor the betting patterns for more clues
Summary: CANENA (6) ran a race full of promise when fifth at Clairefontaine on August 2nd on her sole start. She will have made progress from that effort and is worth following. ZILIKHA (5) made a pleasing start to her career when third at Saint-Malo 24 days ago and will know what is required this time.
