  62. ZENADIA – Not reliable and was 4th in a claimer at Fontainebleau over 1200m on 17 March. Needs to do a lot more to beat these rivals
  63. SUGAR DADDY – Yet to win a race and was 11th in a handicap at this course over 1400m on 16 March. Others are much preferred
Summary: CROOK (11) caught the eye with a strong late surge in the key reference race at Fontainebleau on March 6 and looks a solid starting point in what appears a competitive and closely matched handicap. HORNIG (12) finished just behind him on that occasion and is closely weighted again, suggesting he can mount a serious challenge if reproducing that level of form. SELENITE (7) is an interesting contender on handicap debut and could be favourably treated by the assessor, making her one to keep firmly onside. GOUTTES DE DIEU (5) arrives on the back of a convincing success last time out and, while now asked to shoulder a penalty, still looks capable of playing a prominent role in this company.

  64. ANSSIO – Victorious in a Conditions at this course over 1900m on 6 December. Returns from a break but can get involved with the finish once again
  65. REVERSO – May have needed the run when 7th in a Conditions race at Cagnes-sur-Mer over 1300m on 1 February. Fitter now but others make more appeal
  66. GLOBAL HEALTH – Consisitent so far and finished fourth in a Group 3 at this course over 2400m on 16 June 2024. Returns from a lengthy break but must be respected in this line-up
  67. SERENISSIMUS – Victorious in a Conditions race at Fontainebleau on debut over 2000m on 6 March. Impressive winner that day and can double up
  68. CREATIVER – A four-year-old colt by Camelot out of Golconda who is making his debut. His Dam won 2 of her 4 starts. Can earn some minor money
  69. NEVER GIVE IN – Victorious in his last two starts, the latest a Conditions arace t Le Mans over 1950m on 2 November 2024. Returns after a lay off and others are preferred
  70. BRIONI – 9th in a handicap at Epsom Downs over 2020m on 28 September. Victorious in June but could need this run returning from a break
  71. PHINEAS – Very consistent and was 3rd in a Conditions race at ParisLongchamp over 2000m on 8 June. Returns from a break but should be competitive if fit
  72. SPANISH BREEZE CEN – Did not show his best when 6th in a Listed race over this track and trip on 27 October. Capable of doing better and is not out of it returning from a break
  73. MAKE BARAKET – Only modest so far and was 9th in a Conditions race at this track over 1200m on 10 April. Likely to need this run returning from a break
  74. VIVAHENY – Finished 13th in a claimer r at Saint-Cloud over 2500m on 14 November. Has yet to score and is best left watched for now
Summary: A late-developing type, SERENISSIMUS (4) made a striking impression when winning on debut and, while this represents a much stiffer test, he is clearly open to significant improvement. PHINEAS (8), third at Listed level last season, commands respect on his return and should be monitored closely, while SPANISH BREEZE CEN (9), a winner of a well-contested Class 2 in September, also brings solid credentials to the table. GLOBAL HEALTH (3) has been absent for some time but is evidently a horse of considerable ability and cannot be dismissed if returning in good order.

  75. MAROONED – Not reliable and finished 6th in a handicap at Chantilly over 1600m on 27 February. Capable of making the frame
  76. SEND WOOD – In good shape and finished 3rd in a handicap over this track and trip on 16 March. Can be a threat to these rivals
  77. CITY BABE – Returned from a break and finished 8th in a handicap at Chantilly over 1900m on 8 March. Needed that run and can bounce back and score on the grass
  78. ANOTHERMINE – Holding form and finished 3rd in a handicap over this track and trip on 27 February. Should be competitive once again
  79. SPRING HEART – Unreliable and was 11th in a handicap over this track and trip on 20 February. Victorious back in January and can earn some money
  80. GOLDEN DISC – Yet to win a race but is knocking at the door and was runner-up in a Conditions race at Le Mans over 1950m on 20 March. Can go one place better
  81. REAL SOCIEDAD – Needed the run when 14th in a handicap at this track over 1900m on 8 March. Needs to find a few lengths to score
  82. MISS SUPERNOVA – Only modest of late and finished 8th in a handicap at Deauville over 1900m on 2 December. Needs to do more to beat these rivals
  83. DAVALLIA – Unreliable and finished 12th in a handicap over this track and trip on 10 January. Capable of a surprise back on the grass
  84. LORIA – Unreliable and finished 7th in a Conditions race nditions at Le Croisé-Laroche over 1800m on 15 November. Returns from a break and could need this run
  85. DARK ZEL – Not reliable but was 4th in a handicap over this course and distance on 12 March. Can contest the finish once again
  86. KIMBIA – Finished 4th last time out in a Conditions race at this course over 1400m on 27 February. Might play a minor role at very best
  87. ZASYMOKA – Showd some improvement and was runner-up in a handicap at Lyon-Parilly over 1600m on 15 March. Clearly not out of it
  88. AMORCITA – Finished 11th in a handicap at Cagnes-sur-Mer over 1500m on 24 February. Has struggled of late and others are preferred
Summary: CITY BABE (3) shaped quite well on her return, even if she just tired late on, and with this contest restricted to fillies, she looks capable of bouncing back. GOLDEN DISC (6) finished off her race well at Le Mans and, now rated 33, appears to hold strong claims. ANOTHERMINE (4), who has impressed on both starts this year, enters calculations, while DARK ZEL (11), a recent fourth on the all-weather, is another to consider in an open-looking affair.

C1 – PRIX HORSE WINNER – 2150m (a1m1/4) – Class F – Harness – EUR € 21,000

  1. LAMENTIN – Returned to winning ways at Vire on 1 March but failed to confirm 2 weeks later when 5th in a Lisieux Class F. Is better than that though and with application will have his chances
  2. L’ARGENTIER – Useful trotter but is considerably better racing clockwise and even racing barefoot will have his work cut out
  3. LE CHARLY D’YVI – Fine element that seldom disappoints when focused. Is new to the venue but has solid left-handed references and reverts to a previous configuration. Place chance
  4. LYNX GRIFF – Showed improvement when 5th of 10 in a Châtelaillon-La Rochelle Class F last Sunday, sports a more competitive formula this time, and the draw will do him no disservice
  5. LEADER TUILERIE – Has done nothing but improve since returning from his layoff, latterly 2nd in a Bordeaux Class F in late-February. Has had ample time to get back to his best and, reunited with Gabriele Gelormini is unlikely to let the side down. Chance
  6. LATINO BELLO – Produced a pair of decent efforts earlier in the year but will need to show marked improvement on recent Lisieux run
  7. LEADER ATOUT – Not always the calmest of horses but has a lot going for him here, especially at just 55 Euros from elimination. Is reunited with Benjamin Rochard for the occasion and, with application, can make this his own
  8. LINO DU POMMEREUX – No champion but ran reassuring 5th in a Cagnes Class F on 10 March. Is forced to start wide and is unlikely to create an upset
  9. LE PRINCE – Unexceptional individual that has done nothing noteworthy for some time and is not about to spring a surprise
  10. LORD DE L’AVRE – Sent for a break after scoring at Laval in December. Has a run under his belt this month, will be barefoot this time, and despite a 2nd row draw can nevertheless figure prominently
  11. L’AMI DANOVER – Is not devoid of talent, and has form at the venue, but has not been seen out for 2 months and the draw only compounds matters
  12. LYNKO DE REM – Modest element starting for first time since November and in this company has no possible chance
  13. LOYAL DU CHENE – Previously a good sort but has just returned to competition following a lengthy layoff and appears to need another run
  14. LE BROK – Has evident talent but eliminated in both starts this term. Has pulled a tough number, but is clearly in race-mode though, and with application is unlikely to be far from the action
  15. LE CLASSIC – No slouch on a good day but was eliminated on re-entry and faces a tough test on first left-handed start
Summary: He may have been eliminated on his comeback at Graignes in mid-March but LEADER ATOUT (7) will be barefoot for his first objective of the season, and benefits from a terrific entry. He appreciates a flatter track, should take well to Mauquenchy, and can win this. He will be opposed though by the better-positioned LEADER TUILERIE (5) whose latest run did not go unnoticed, and LAMENTIN (1) who has never finished out of the first 2 here when focused. LE CHARLY D’YVI (3) is well-placed behind the car and will be competitively-shod for the occasion.

  16. LIVIA DES LANDES – Takes a break from the monte code after running 2nd at Lisieux last month. Has nothing to offer here and can be passed over
  17. LOBELIE DE GODREL – Moderate mare that has looked very ordinary this term. Benefits from a good draw but still not an obvious choice
  18. LADY D’ECOTAY – Disappointing on the whole since winning an Agon-Coutainville claimer last August and will struggle to make her presence felt
  19. LOVHELEN D’OR – Has looked a different horse since starting to race barefoot. Is quite evidently close to her race and Alexis Garandeau will be keen to prove the point
  20. LADY MORNING STAR – Handy when focused and barefoot and is comfortable racing left-handed. Goes barefoot for just 2nd start back and cannot be ruled out
  21. LOLA DE CHENU – Seldom far from losing her action but is clearly in form. Should appreciate Mauquenchy conditions and can impose if she gets off on the right foot
  22. LEONORA – Placed here on debut…in July 2024. Twice encouraged at Graignes in February, and even though starting wide can nevertheless pick up some crumbs
  23. LITTLE STAR JIEL – Gave a good account on re-entry at Le Croise-Laroche 10 days ago despite being shod. Is configured as she was when 3rd at Vincennes last season and, with application, should play an active role
  24. LA TEMPETE – Although eliminated she was not disgraced on first start for new trainer. Alain Laurent would have preferred a better draw but is unlikely to be far off the mark if he manages to keep her trotting
  25. LIRYA DE REVE D’OR – Unremarkable sort that finished an honourable 5th behind LITTLE STAR JIEL (8) at Le Croise-Laroche 10 days ago, however a repeat seems unlikely
  26. LUTECE – Spirited at the best of times but is not devoid of talent. Has 2 runs in her since the layoff, will be partnered by Benjamin Rochard for the first time, and could well start to come good again
  27. LILI D’AMOUR – Serious mare that is considerably better than recent results would suggest. Is plainly in race-mode this time and steps up in category with every chance of winning this
Summary: Winner in December on her first appearance for 10 months, LILI D’AMOUR (12) has twice failed to make the grade since, and starts on the 2nd row, but will be barefoot as he was when imposing at Argentan before the break, and has a decent chance of opening her 2026 account. LOLA DE CHENU (6) is better-placed in front and will be no easy touch if David Thomain manages to keep her trotting. LOVHELEN D’OR (4) has been knocking at the door lately, likes Mauquenchy, and the draw will only enhance her good prospects. Reconfigured after having finished nicely at Le Croise-Laroche, LITTLE STAR JIEL (8) is forced to break wide but will be competitively-shod.

  28. KALL ME CENSERIE – Has been very hard to fault since early-December. Ran courageous 4th over longer here in February and with an unfettered run can play a leading role
  29. KATINA DE TOUSSAC – Showed marked improvement when 6th behind KALL ME CENSERIE (1) in an Enghien Class E on 13 March. Will be fully fit by now and is well-placed to get in on the action. First 5
  30. KING SUN DRALIAM – Endured a tough trip at Enghien 3 weeks ago after having run 2nd at Laval in early-February. Has been re-shod for the occasion and from the 3 slot will be expected to contest the finish
  31. KISS ME DU RUEL – Is not without merit, and has raced little since last summer, but is barefoot for first objective of the season and, from the 4 slot, cannot be ruled out
  32. KENDO CASTELETS – Enjoying something of a renaissance in 2026, winning 2 for 2. David Thomain in the bike this time and will be justifiably confident of another big performance. Claim
  33. KRONOS D’ERPION – Returns to the professional ranks after running 3rd, in awful conditions, in an Enghien Class F on 13 March. Seldom wins but seldom disappoints either, and the front-line start will only work to his advantage
  34. KOZMIC BLUES – Capable on a good day but has not been seen out since early-December and, with shoes fitted, will have nothing to contribute
  35. KEA DES RACQUES – Got back in the game at Caen on 9 March, coming 2nd in a 2200m Class E. Reverts to sporting front pads but breaks in front and can again finish close
  36. KEVIVE DE MAIL – Reassuring but unthreatening 4th in a Challans Class F on 22 March. Shoes on again and will have few friends
  37. KHALEESI D’ALESA – Just recently returned following a lengthy stint on the sidelines. Is barefoot this time but is plainly taking on too much
  38. KEFIR COHIAIS – Returns to France after imposing over 2300m in Mons on 17 March, but takes on a better bunch this time and chances limited
  39. KARA DES DUNES – 3rd of 15, a place behind KEA DES RACQUES (8), in a 2200m Caen Class E on comeback early last month. Has never excelled when fitted with pads though and is not about to start now
  40. KENZA D’AMOUR – Complicated mare starting for first time since mid-December. Shoes on for re-entry and poses no danger
  41. KAID DEL GREEN – Blows hot and cold but left a good impression on comeback at Châtillon-sur-Chalaronne 2.5 weeks ago, coming 3rd in a Class F. Will have come on for the race but the draw could limit his prospects
  42. KADEAU DE L’AVRE – Faces first goal of the year after a modest return run at Lisieux a week ago. Has been fitted with a new configuration but the draw will do him no favours
  43. KALEDA DE LA COUR – Surprise winner of a monte Class G at Pontchateau early last month and can expect to generate little interest this time
Summary: KENDO CASTELETS (5) tries his hand going left-handed after 2 straight successes at Lyon-La Soie this year and, if he turns, can wrap this up. David Thomain will still be keeping an eye on the reconfigured KING SUN DRALIAM (3) who raced better at Enghien last month than the result would suggest, and the consistently performant KALL ME CENSERIE (1) who finished ahead of him that day. KEA DES RACQUES (8) gave a reassuringly good account of herself last time out and, even though reconfigured, will still be competitive for a place on the podium.

  44. JOLIE FLEUR OR – Went into her winter break on a high note but has looked ordinary since returning to competition, and others preferred
  45. JOYAU DARLING – Undeniably capable, and has a race under his belt following the break, but will have a lot more to find this time around
  46. JALISCA FLIGNY – Has returned from her spell in fine condition. Was not disgraced last time here and although not a priority, from the 3 slot is still worth monitoring
  47. JAZZ MELODY – Failed to confirm good amateur effort at Laval when last of 13 at Caen a fortnight ago. Has previously shown a liking for Mauquenchy but may just have too much to do this time
  48. J’ENVISAGE DUBRIO – Has simply thrived since moving to the Alexandre Buisson yard. Unseen at the venue since winning here 3 years ago but has a lot going for him and must not be underestimated
  49. INTEMPOREL – Has both won and placed under these conditions but has not been seen out since November and is not about to influence the outcome
  50. JURASSIC – Tends to save his best for the amateur division these days but is always game. Will be shod as he was here in November and despite starting wide on the front line, can nevertheless get in on the action
  51. JAYF – Mixes the good with the less-good but left a good impression last time here. Sports front pads for re-entry but will still have his supporters
  52. JENKA DE MORMOULIN – Got back in the game when 2nd, a place ahead of JORIA MESLOISE (15), in a Chartres Class F mid-March. Benefits from a super entry on the front row, however a repeat seems unlikely
  53. INSIDE – Hardy element but lost his way last autumn and has shown no sign a return to form
  54. JASPE DU DOLLAR – Seldom gets his nose in front but has run 2nd in 3 of last 4. Has no Mauquenchy references but is as comfortable going left-handed as right- and even from the 2nd line will not be far off the mark
  55. I LOVE IGNY – Won here last term but has failed to make any impact since the turn of the year and must first reaffirm
  56. HONNEUR DU CEBE – Makes first appearance since running 5th in a Chartres monte Class E last October and can be confidently passed over
  57. INSTALL D’ALOUETTE – Serious element that has yet to be beaten here. Is shod to preference following a pair of return runs and even from the back row can give this a good go
  58. JORIA MESLOISE – Has blotted her copybook just the once since last autumn. Returns to racing barefoot after a good effort at Chartres and is eminently capable of contesting a place in the picture
  59. JOSS AIMEF – Good, consistent sort that has not put a foot wrong for some time. Comfortably imposed at Strasbourg early last month and looks thoroughly capable of bringing the fight to JAVA DES CAILLONS (18)
  60. JAZZY THOURJAN – Capable on a good day but is preparing for a monte campaign and races here for a change of scenery
  61. JAVA DES CAILLONS – Faces first target of the year after being freshened up at Fougeres on 22 March. Trainer could not have wished for a better engagement and David Thomain will be expected to deliver
Summary: Simply excellent last summer and autumn, JAVA DES CAILLONS (18) has just the one run under her belt since the break but will be barefoot and reunited with David Thomain who excels with her. She is new to Mauquenchy but is a purveyor of flat tracks and will be justifiably well-backed to impose. That said, she will be pitted against recent Strasbourg winner, JOSS AIMEF (16) who is just as capable racing left-handed, and fellow barefoot Mauquenchy debutante, JORIA MESLOISE (15), who has been knocking at the door. Enjoying something of a resurgence since moving yards, J’ENVISAGE DUBRIO (5) is 25m better off and has the distinction of having won his only start at the venue. He will, however, be up against INSTALL D’ALOUETTE (14) who won both of her Mauquenchy races, and both in the day’s configuration.

  62. KANSAS QUESNOT – Imposed at Lyon-La Soie in February prior to running 2nd in an Amiens Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Is as adaptable as they get and can contest the finish once again
  63. INDUCTIF – Produced good efforts in both the amateur and claiming divisions before running 5th in a Class F at Le Croise-Laroche 10 days ago. 4 pads fitted this time and will not be available at 134-1
  64. KACEY BELL – Revitalised over recent weeks following a disappointing winter, latterly winning a Class G at Le Croise-Laroche early last month. Has been handed an excellent number and Thais Peltier will be eager to make hay
  65. INSOLITE EFBE – Placed at Graignes, then Lisieux, but stays shod for a return to a track she likes and others easier to back this time
  66. JERONIMO DU CAUX – Has looked rather mediocre since mid-November but drops back down the category-ladder and from the 5 slot can pick up some minor honours
  67. IT’S EAGLE COGLAIS – Ran 3rd in a Vincennes claimer prior to flopping in a Graignes Class F 11 days ago, and is unlikely to cause an upset
  68. KATIA DHELPA – Blows hot and cold but has bags of ability. Was just headed at Cordemais on 8 March but starts on front line here, has no handicap to incur, and can impose
  69. IMPRESS ME – Ironically-named individual that has failed to make any impact this term and makes his Mauquenchy bow with limited ambition
  70. JUPITER DE MAISY – Can prove a handful but form is not in question. Should not be hastily-judged for faulting at Graignes and, in the hands of a talented youngster, can defy the draw and finish close
  71. IO DOMENICO – Can trot but not the most reliable horse here. Is still in conditioning mode and others easier to back
  72. IMANOLO DE LOU – Has failed to run to the same level he used to before the lengthy layoff and would have more to offer at a lower category
  73. IBIS D’AUVRECY – Gave a good account on re-entry when 4th in a Marseille-Borely Class D, at 84-1, 3 weeks ago, however a repeat seems most unlikely
  74. JALBA DU FER – Honest mare that ran 6th to KACEY BELL (3) in a Class G at Le Croise-Laroche early last month. Showed courage that day and despite the draw should not be overlooked
  75. KING OF JIEL – Serious trotter in the other branch of the business. Has not raced for almost 12 months and will be given an easy reintroduction
  76. IAGO CAYENNAIS – Moderate sort making first start since 18 November. Will sport pads for the occasion and can be passed over
  77. JUMBO DES PRES – Convincing winner of a Reims Class G on just 2nd start for new handler. Has pulled a rough number but is a player all the same
Summary: KATIA DHELPA (7) may not be the most dependable of horses but she was most impressive at Cordemais early last month. She has yet to win for her new trainer but, with form maintained, can finally deliver. She will still feel the heat from KANSAS QUESNOT (1) who is dynamite for the most part when barefoot, and the less-favourably-drawn, but reconfigured, JUPITER DE MAISY (9) whose form is not in question. JUMBO DES PRES (16) took no time opening her account for Carine de Soete, and has the wherewithal to repeat, but will require some luck in running.

  79. MADAME BOVARY – Produced a fine account on comeback when 2nd in a Class E over course and distance on 24 February but faces a much tougher task this time around
  80. MUSTANG DE REUX – Lost his action on comeback 10 days ago. Has merit, and will be competitively-shod this time, but still not a concern
  81. MACARENA – Quality individual whose recent blunder should not be taken too seriously. Will have come on for the run, sports 4 pads this time, and on good behaviour can make the most of her front-line start and finish in the mix
  82. MOJI DE VANDEL – Ran 2nd to a very good horse on re-entry in a Meslay-du-Maine Class F on 17 March and, in similar form, could well give MILTON DU NOYER (13) something to think about
  83. MARINA SOMOLLI – Showed the limit of her capability at the end of last year. Has not been seen out since and is unlikely to spice things up
  84. MAIA D’ATOUT – Twice ran 3rd here before repeating at Caen in early-March. Benefits from a good entry on the front row and, while not a priority, still cannot be discounted
  85. MILLE SOUS GEKA – Good dual-discipline gelding making 2nd start back. Has placed just once going left-handed but is wonderfully-engaged and the new formula will do her chances no harm
  86. MYSTIC PARKER – Useful type with a particular flair for the monte code and will have nothing to contribute
  87. MOSTRA DE CHANLECY – Handy filly with a liking for an even surface. Takes a dip in category after failing to deliver in a Cagnes Class A, has been re-shod, excels with Benjamin Rochard, and will be expected to give this a good go. First 5
  88. MEWTWO – Justifiably well-regarded colt that left a good impression on Vire comeback a fortnight ago despite faulting early, and can again go close
  89. MINUS DE CHENU – Honest element that will be freshly reconfigured for comeback. Has form at this level, is nicely-engaged, and even from the back row will be no pushover
  90. MILTON DU NOYER – Serious future prospect making first start of 2026 with hind shoes off. Starts on the back row but still looks the pick of the field
  91. MAGELLANO SUN – Showed improvement when 3rd in an Enghien Class D on 6 March. Will be barefoot this time, and will be worth monitoring
  92. MELICIANA – Serious filly that seldom disappoints racing left-handed, but has not been seen out since November and risks being race-rusty
  93. MAGUEN DAIRPET – Decent sort but has better aptitude for the ridden discipline and will be shod for the occasion
Summary: Put away after winning 3 straight last spring, MILTON DU NOYER (13) was put away again in December after a lacklustre return run. He has had 3 months to get back in condition, is competitively-shod for the first time, and will be well-backed to have his way. That being said, MOJI DE VANDEL (5) reassured at Meslay-du-Maine on his recent re-entry and the 25m head-start will only work to his advantage. MEWTWO (11) has endured a troubled career to date but he has buckets of class and caught the eye on his Vire comeback. MINUS DE CHENU (12) always gives his best, will appreciate the Mauquenchy profile, and sports a fresh configuration for his grand re-entry.

  95. KOOL DE CRAON – Unexceptional individual taking first public monte steps. Appears to be here for reasons of conditioning and can be ruled out
  96. KARTING DU VIVIER – Never far from faulting but produced a very good run here in early-February and will not be far off the mark if Delphine Beaufils Ernault manages to keep him focused
  97. MATFABEN D’ENJE – Quality future prospect that excels with his jockey. Was simply superb last time out and is in with a reasonable shout of picking up where he left off
  98. MAINTENANTOUJAMAIS – Has shown a particular flair for the monte game. Should not be criticised for his re-entry elimination and, with hind shoes off for the first time, can apply the pressure on MATFABEN D’ENJE (4)
  99. MINILADY DE CHOC – Occasionally loses focus but is otherwise a generous filly that seldom lets the side down. Takes on a less-exalted lot here and will have her chances
  100. LOUISIANE KERYVON – Returns to racing left-handed after displaying some regressive form. Is new to the venue, and is not a contender, but should hold her own if she takes to the new conditions
  101. LA FLECHE – It took 33 runs but she got off the mark, with authority, at Lisieux on 14 March. Arthur Rebèche keeps the ride and can again finish in the mix
  102. L’AS DE COEUR – Has been struggling since the winter months in Paris and a return to the provinces has not paid off. Disregard
  103. LAGON DU DEZERT – Has not put a foot wrong under the saddle since late-December, and will sport front pads this time. Is confirmed under these conditions but, in this field, looks a minor place chance at best
  104. LA LAGOSTERIA – Complicated mare that will have come on for her comeback run 3 weeks ago. Benjamin Rochard in the irons this time, and can pick up some minor honours if she stays in stride
Summary: Winner of the 3 races in which he didn’t fall foul of the stewards, MATFABEN D’ENJE (4) secured all 3 victories under Paul Ploquin. He may not have been seen out since November but it would be no surprise to see the pair getting straight back in the game. Opposition will come primarily from a competitively-shod MAINTENANTOUJAMAIS (5) who has shown significant aptitude for the discipline, and the good MINILADY DE CHOC (6) who seems to get better with every run. KARTING DU VIVIER (3) is not the easiest of horses to use but he ran 2nd over course and distance on his penultimate start and deserves to be taken seriously.
    SELECTIONS
    MATFABEN D’ENJE (4) – MAINTENANTOUJAMAIS (5) – MINILADY DE CHOC (6) – KARTING DU VIVIER (3)
    C8 – PRIX AREAS CABINET XAVIER ROBERGE – 2850m (a2m) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 21,000
  105. NEREIDE SIBEY – Eliminated in the turn for home when competitive on debut at Fougeres 11 days ago. Will have come on for the race and will not be far from the action if she stays trotting
  106. NIGHT KNIGHT – Qualified nicely last spring but eliminated in both to date, and others preferred
  107. NOUCHKA ROYALE – Placed twice over course and distance before coming 7th behind NOTRE SAXO D’AURE (5) in a 2225m Class E here 2.5 weeks ago. Sports front pads this time but still not a concern
  108. NEW HAVEN WOOD – Tricky colt that has placed just once in 7 starts and is unlikely to influence the result
  109. NOTRE SAXO D’AURE – Ran 5th in a 2225m Class E here 2.5 weeks ago, but appears to be taking on too much this time
  110. NANTES PARIS – Looked a thorough professional when imposing comfortably on debut in early-March. Comes to Mauquenchy with high morale and a realistic chance of confirming
  111. NYSKIO SPORT – Flew up at Le Croise-Laroche first time out. Was quickly eliminated at Laval but can make amends if Emmanuel Allard gets him off on the right foot
  112. NECTAR DU BOCAGE – Improving element that has placed in 2 of 3 so far. Benjamin Rochard in the bike for the first time and is unlikely to head home empty-handed
  113. NEO – Showed early promise but eliminated in last 2. Did show his form at Lisieux though and is unlikely to be far off the mark if he deigns to keep his action together
  114. NOUMEA LIGNERIES – Unopposed winner on debut in a Class F at Le Croise-Laroche a month ago. Hails from a yard firing on all cylinders and must be considered a serious proposition
Summary: Given a lengthy break after qualifying unexceptionally last spring, NANTES PARIS (6) produced a fine performance at Le Mont-Saint-Michel last month to get straight off the mark. He has been afforded ample time to get back in shape, will sport pads this time, and is easy to like to for the double. Clement Duvaldestin will still be mindful of the progressive NYSKIO SPORT (7) who should not be condemned for faulting early at Laval, and NOUMEA LIGNERIES (10) who made short work of her own debut early last month. NEREIDE SIBEY (1) would have finished in the mix had she not faulted on her own recent debut and Louis Baudouin will be keen to set the record straight.
    SELECTIONS – NANTES PARIS (6) – NYSKIO SPORT (7) – NOUMEA LIGNERIES (10) – NEREIDE SIBEY (1)
