R1 VINCENNES [L-H]
C1 – PRIX ICLEA – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class C Amateur Riders – Mounted – EUR € 61,000
- HIRO DE L’ORMERIE – Flattering 5th in a Cagnes Class C on 8 March and quite simply has no realistic chance
- IDEAL DU NOYER – Put on quite the show in a Class D under these conditions, on re-entry, late last month. Will have come on for the race and looks the principal danger to IKURO JIEL (11)
- GAILLARDE QUERAY – Runner-up twice here in February before failing to deliver in an Enghien Class C 2.5 weeks ago. Sports pads this time though and represents no more than a minor place chance
- HELLO JADE RUSH – Hasn’t won for almost 2 years but ran courageous 4th in an Enghien Class B 3.5 weeks ago and, confirmed under these conditions, should be good enough to make first 5
- GLADIATOR BOY – Has not been seen out since being eliminated early in a Class C over course and distance on 20 February. Comes here fresh and, if applied, will be no shrinking violet
- JELYSON – Has not been seen out since September 2024. Is competitively-shod for comeback but will not be over-extended
- GUAPO MARBOULA – Modest element that has done little of note in either code for some time and will have nothing to bring to the table
- FALTO DES LANDIERS – Will be shod for return to the discipline following a pair of harness conditioners. Clearly has other ambitions and best to wait
- IGO CLEA – Should not be too hastily-condemned for 2 latest efforts. Is plainly better than the results would suggest and will be well-fancied for a place in the mix at the business end of affairs
- IMPERIAL COGLAIS – Pleased for most part of 2025 but has looked decidedly ordinary this term and will first need to re-establish his credentials
- IKURO JIEL – Has not put a foot out of place in 3 starts this year, latterly 2nd in a 2875m Enghien Class C in early-March. Has been afforded ample time to get back to his best and can expect the lion’s share of support
- HARRY LE BEAU – Well-campaigned trotter making first start for new stable. Showed his form at Cagnes last time, benefits from a fine entry here, and debuts in the discipline with a respectable chance of picking up a cheque
Summary: IKURO JIEL (11) has not put a foot wrong since the turn of the year, takes a marginal dip in category after running 2nd in better company at Enghien last month, and has every chance of confirming January’s course-and-distance success. IDEAL DU NOYER (2), however, made an excellent comeback under these conditions just 10 days ago and will not be available at 62-1 this time. GLADIATOR BOY (5) ran 3rd to Jean-Luc Dersoir’s horse here on his penultimate start and Agathe Poulain will be keen to make up for his February elimination. IGO CLEA (9) returns to a more reasonable level after having taken on too much across town last month, and can pick up some prizemoney this time.

C2 – PRIX ALGENIB – 2850m (a2m) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 49,000 - JULIE DU NORD – Unexceptional mare that seldom makes her presence felt and is not about to change her ways
- KISMETE DES BRUMES – Makes Vincennes debut after 2 modest fresheners and will be shod for the occasion. Disregard
- KALI DES LANDIERS – Takes on a different challenge after having won in the amateur category over the short course here 10 days ago, but will have other ambitions
- KIM SPEED – Serious mare facing first objective of the new season. Won her only start over track and trip and, from the first row, should be good enough to pick up a cheque
- KIARA MAURICIENNE – Was close to confirming Saint-Brieuc victory when eliminated close to home in a Saint-Galmier Class F a month back. Is being aimed higher this time but the engagement of Mathieu Mottier will do her chances no harm
- KORALIE D’ISQUES – Like a horse transformed after moving yards. Makes just 2nd appearance at the venue but starts in front, has won 3 of last 4, and must be taken seriously
- KALMIA BOSS – In the frame in both starts this term, lastly 2nd in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class D 3.5 weeks ago. Enjoys a fine engagement on the front row and will be expected to finish in the mix
- KARVINA D’ELA – Produced 2 fine performances in the provinces before finishing 5th in a 2100m Class E here 3 weeks ago. Takes on a better bunch this time and a repeat seems improbable
- JILIKA DU MESLE – 4th behind KALMIA BOSS (7) in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class D mid-March. Alexis Collette gets the nod this time but is still not a priority
- KOUREAS D’ELA – Not the easiest of horses to use but got back in the winners’ circle in a 2100m Class D here 3 weeks ago, and will have every chance of repeating if Benjamin Rochard manages to keep her trotting
- JUSTE DU GERS – Already twice a winner this term, latterly a Reims Class F with authority mid-March. Is confirmed over course and distance and despite the handicap can still finish close
- KASSYA – Made quite the impression when winning an Angers Class E last week. Tends to go well for Paul Ploquin and looks the main threat to KOUREAS D’ELA (10)
- JAMAICA BROWN – Tricky element that reassured at Pontchateau late last month, but in this company will have nothing to offer
- JEUNESSE ETERNELLE – Not the most dependable of mares but tends not to disappoint when focused and, given the entry, cannot be ruled out
Summary: KOUREAS D’ELA (10) took little time getting back in the winners’ enclosure after her winter break and, having clocked her fastest time that day, will be well-backed to repeat. She will still face opposition from recent Angers winner KASSYA (12) who has previously imposed under these conditions, and the nicely-entered and in-form KALMIA BOSS (7) who benefits from a 25m head-start. JUSTE DU GERS (11) incurs the penalty but she has been superb this year and her trainer-driver Fabien Gence can be confident of another competitive performance.

C3 – PRIX HENRIETTA – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 46,000 - LE GENTLEMAN – Has a race under his felt following the winter break. Has never failed to fire when unshod-behind and is not about to start now. Claim
- LORENZO GEDE – Failed to confirm Amiens victory when 6th behind LIL BOSS ONLY (12) in a 2700m Class D here 2 weeks ago. Defied his odds that day and while unlikely to create an upset, should nevertheless acquit himself honourably
- LORDIUS – Showed improvement when 5th behind LET IT SNOW (5) in a 2700m Class D here 3 weeks ago, but still has a lot of ground to make up
- LOVE’S SECRET – Returns to the harness code after running 2nd to LUCERO TEJY (9) in a monte Class D here on 13 March. Is competitively-shod for first time this year but is still not a priority
- LET IT SNOW – Missed out by little in a 2700m Class D here 3 weeks ago. Has been on the cusp for some time, pleased on sole appearance under these conditions, and from the 5-spot should not be underestimated
- LOOK D’HERMES – Eliminated in both starts so far this year, mot recently on re-entry here 2 weeks ago. Has buckets of talent, imposed at Pontchateau on sole association with Alexis Collette, and looks competitively well in
- LETIKALIN – Returns to preferred configuration after prepping behind LIL BOSS ONLY (12) in a 2700m Class D here 2 weeks ago. Starts in front and Paul Ploquin will justifiably endeavour to give LE GENTLEMAN (1) a run for his money
- LUCKY MESLOIS – Won a Class D over track and trip in February before coming 3rd, a place behind LET IT SNOW (5), in a 2700m Class D here 3 weeks ago. Sports front pads this time but still has the capability to make the frame
- LUCERO TEJY – Won a monte Class D here on 13 March. Sports 4 pads for the first time but is not a concern on this occasion
- LONDON RECALL – Quality element stepping up in category after dominating a Marseille-Borély Class D on 13 March. Has pulled a rough number, but is first-time barefoot, and will have his supporters
- LOIC BARON – Starts for the first time since November. Will be shod for comeback though and can be ruled out
- LIL BOSS ONLY – Has not put a foot out of line since 11 November. Beat a number of these here 2 weeks ago and, despite a second-row draw, can still get in on the action
- L’AS DE SMARVES – Is like a horse reborn since early last month. Comes here on a hat-trick and although unlikely to pull it off, can nevertheless finish in the mix
- LE MAC – Capable on a good day and has a race under his belt following the layoff, but can still expect to have his work cut out
Summary: Shod to preference for his first target of the year, LE GENTLEMAN (1) thrives with Benjamin Rochard and is not incapable of winning this. He can expect to feel the heat though from LETIKALIN (7) who excels in the day’s configuration, and a less competitively shod LUCKY MESLOIS (8) who has never been in better shape. LET IT SNOW (5) has been knocking at the door for a number of months and the draw will only work to his advantage.

C4 – PRIX CLARISSE – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 40,000 - MONTANA MONNERIE – Honest trotter returning to the main track after having pleased across town early last month. Mathieu Mottier in the bike this time and should prove competitive for a spot in the picture
- MURO – Put a pair of tough fresheners behind him when courageous 3rd in a Marseille-Borely Class D late last month. Has placed just once in 4 over the main track but with front shoes off will be no pushover
- MISTRAL POURPRIX – Makes main-track debut after running honourable 3rd in a Caen Class E on 25 March, but others still preferred
- MAGIK DE PIERRAIS – Made a convincing return to competition at Meslay-du-Maine on 17 March. Faces first goal of 2026 and with Eric Raffin in the bike will be afforded every chance
- MARTIN DOL – Has taken his game to a new level since returning to competition. Is ideally-placed behind the car here and unlikely to be bested
- MAESTRO BEHEM – Kicked the year off well but out of the picture in next 2 and can be ruled out
- MAESTRO CASH – Sprang a 29-1 surprise when 2nd in a 2875m Class E at Enghien on re-entry 3.5 weeks ago, his first start for Allard stable. Faces a tougher task this time but sports modified shoeing and is capable of holding his own
- MISTHOS CHRISTAL – Showed promise last summer but subsequently lost his way. Starts for first time since early-February and is not about to shake things up
- MERCURY DELO – Is not devoid of ability but has recently been showing his spirit. Is forced to break wide but sports a fresh formula, has been entrusted to Paul Ploquin for the first time, and has a decent chance of getting back on track
- MOJITO DE BANVILLE – Complicated colt whose potential is not in question, but is seldom sure of stride and best to hold off
- MISTER D’ECROVILLE – Imposed at Nantes in February before quickly losing his action at Enghien in early-March. Goes barefoot again but has pulled a tough number and can be passed over
- MUSTANG DE REUX – Has failed to impress so far this term, most recently modest 5th at Mauquenchy, and the draw will do him no favours
- MAJOR DU MARGAS – Reassured somewhat at Laval a month back, but lost his action at Enghien and can expect to have few friends
- MYSTERE CERIZE – Defied his 134-1 when 2nd in a Class E on comeback at Le Croise-Laroche 2.5 weeks ago. Matthieu Abrivard back at the helm and, despite the draw, can nevertheless make first 5
Summary: MARTIN DOL (5) takes to Vincennes for the first time after having twice won with ease in the provinces. He goes barefoot for the occasion and if he takes to the main-track profile should have this in the bag. Leading the opposition, MAGIK DE PIERRAIS (4) showed his form in last month’s return run and will be competitively-shod for the first time, with Eric Raffin reining. MURO (2) put in a fine performance in Marseille recently and looks a place prospect once more. Third under these conditions in February, MONTANA MONNERIE (1) races barefoot as he was that day and is unlikely to disappoint.

C5 – PRIX EUKRATE – 2850m (a2m) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 59,000 - IMOKO JIBELAU – Finished last but one under these conditions 3 weeks ago. Is barefoot this time but others still preferred
- HERMES LUDOIS – Takes a big step up in category after running 4th in a 2700m claimer here 10 days ago, and will struggle to make his presence felt
- ISERIA GRIFF – Twice runner-up in the provinces before being trounced in a Class D under these conditions 3 weeks ago, and will have few friends
- GOODMORNING CHARLY – Has enjoyed quite the resurgence since the turn of the year. Facile course-and-distance winner on 19 February and considering how he ran at Enghien the following month, he must be considered a major player
- INVISIBLE SAM – Has placed just once in 11 starts here but is back in Paris after clinching a Marseille-Borely Class D on 13 March and could yet spring something of a surprise
- IVRIG VIKING – Has ample ability but has been eliminated in all 4 starts this year. Has been re-shod for the occasion but still not an obvious choice
- HELIOS SOMOLLI – Moderate sort making just 2nd start following a lengthy layoff and is unlikely to spice things up
- FILOU SMILING – Modest veteran with no place in this field and can be written off
- HAJIME – Very hard to knock when barefoot and focused. Denied a run in a GNT Gr.3 in Marseille late last month and with a better trip can bring the fight to ISTORIC MAUZUN (10)
- ISTORIC MAUZUN – Classy campaigner with an enviable strike-rate. Beaten only by a surprise element here earlier in the year and with application can make this his own
- IL VIENT DU LUDE – Oddly below-par in a Class C at Lyon-La Soie a month back, but has otherwise been giving a good account of himself, and can make first 5 if he takes to the new conditions
- IENA D’ORGERES – Versatile mare that most recently ran 5th in a GNT Gr.3 at Amiens early last month. Is new to 2850m here but can otherwise boast a fine Vincennes record, and is not about to let the side down
- IBIS PETTEVINIERE – Serious trotter but eliminated in all 3 starts this year. Has been entrusted to Eric Raffin for the occasion however and could well prove competitive for some minor honours
- HAPPY FACE – Has just the one race in him since last May, but will be barefoot with Matthieu Abrivard reining and cannot be discounted
- GREG DE NIRO – Unremarkable trotter with better prospects at a much lower level and can be confidently ruled out
- GAGNEUR – Not as sharp as he was earlier in his career but will have been specifically prepared for this and should not be far off the mark if Fabien Gence keeps him focused
Summary: Still very lightly raced at the age of 8, ISTORIC MAUZUN (10) returns to a track he adores following an early-season spell. Second in a Class C under these conditions on New Year’s Day, he goes barefoot again and is easy to like for the win this time. HAJIME (9) is back in the capital after some misfortune in a Marseille-Borély Gr.3 and will be partnered by Mathieu Mottier who went close with him here in February. GOODMORNING CHARLY (4) has turned a corner over recent months and imposed under these conditions last time at the venue. GAGNEUR (16) may not have been firing on all cylinders for some time but he has a race under his belt, benefits from a terrific entry, and will be shod to preference.

C6 – PRIX D’USSEL – 2175m (a1m1/4) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 41,000 - L’AUDACE – Encouraged here on 17 February but finished last but one at Enghien 2.5 weeks ago and can be passed over
- LOVELY KOOL – Unexceptional mare making first appearance since July 2025 and even though barefoot, still looks out of her depth
- LIPA STAR – Got straight down to business on comeback 12 days ago. Steps up in category but has form at this level and a decent chance of making the frame once more
- LUNE DE L’EMION – Is no star but has form at the venue. Will be barefoot for the occasion, with Benjamin Rochard back in the bike, and can make first 5 this time
- LIKE A BIRD STAR – Has raced 7 times already this year, not once to much effect, and can be confidently disregarded
- LATINA JENILOU – Won a Class E here on New Year’s Day before being sent for a break. Got a race under her belt at Le Croise-Laroche in late-March and, shod to preference this time, must be respected
- LICORNVERASPERANZA – Has yet to regain the form she produced to end last season. Was not disgraced on sole Vincennes start, and a decent effort is not far off
- LA GUARDIA – Tricky mare but is easy to like when focused. Gave a good account across town 2.5 weeks ago and could well win this if she gets off on the right foot
- LADY ANGELE – Got off the mark for 2026 with Mathieu Mottier in a Graignes Class E in mid-March. Has no Vincennes references but in this field looks a leading player
- LOU DES COUPERIES – Handy element but has better prospects in the monte discipline and is unlikely to generate much interest
- LADY MAJOR – Reassured at Graignes before flopping in a Lisieux Class E a fortnight ago. Has been re-shod but still cannot be regarded a player
- LOVE ME BERRY – Runner-up at Laval then Caen before losing her action at Strasbourg last Monday. Pleased on lone appearance over the main track and in current condition will have a claim on a place in the picture
Summary: While never far from losing her action, LA GUARDIA (8) is a mare of decent ability; she showed her form after being eliminated at Enghien, and can make a big splash if Paul Ploquin assures her initial strides. LADY ANGELE (9), though, has not missed a beat since returning from her break and Mathieu Mottier will be hoping he can keep their relationship undefeated. LOVE ME BERRY (12) is just 50 Euros from elimination, is quite obviously in fine form, and is easy to recommend. Winner at Pontchâteau on re-entry late last month, LIPA STAR (3) races barefoot this time and at this level is hard to ignore.

C7 – PRIX BEAUMANOIR – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class A – Mounted – EUR € 71,000 - MONTANA WOOD – Seldom far from losing his action but has ample ability. Was quickly eliminated in last Saturday’s comeback run here but, if applied, can pick up a slice of the pie
- MILOR DE LA VALLEE – Has not been as sharp as he was when 3rd in Gr.1 Prix de Vincennes in December. Showed improvement in the Gr.3 Prix de Fontainebleau though and , with application, can again finish close
- LE PRIEURE – Honest type that ran 3rd to LAMBADA DU GOUTIER (7) in a Class B over track and trip 10 days ago. Has ground to make up and although not a priority, should nevertheless hold his own
- MUNHOA VEDAQUAISE – Unbeaten in 3 starts in current configuration, twice at a superior level. Plainly has considerable untapped potential and will be expected to take all the beating
- MACK DAIRPET – Barring the occasional elimination has been very hard to fault. Came 3rd to MUNHOA VEDAQUAISE (4) in Gr.3 Prix de Fontainebleau on 17 February and should again figure prominently. Place chance
- MANITAS DE TRUCHON – Flattering, but nevertheless valiant, 5th in Gr.1 Prix des Centaures late-February. Is a Gr.2 winner but would have better prospects against her contemporaries
- LAMBADA DU GOUTIER – Was not entirely at her ease when dominating a Class B over track and trip 10 days ago. Takes on a better lot this time but is plainly on her way up and is not about to disappoint
- LYZIA DES AGETS – Has ability but regularly bites off more than she can chew. Goes barefoot this time but others still preferred
- MATIGNON – Has not been seen out since coming 3rd in 2850m Gr.2 Prix Louis le Bourg here on 8 February. More competitively-shod this time and is not one to be underestimated
- LARA DU LERRE – Has struggled for some time to replicate last spring’s form. Is reunited with Alexandre Abrivard but still appears to have her work cut out
- LOOPING DAY – Enjoys a fine entry here but has not raced since last August and is unlikely to spring any surprises
Summary: Simply superb since the turn of the year, MUNHOA VEDAQUAISE (4) won the Gr.3 Prix de Dozulé with ease in January before confirming in the Gr.3 Prix de Fontainebleau 2.5 weeks later, and it will take a very big performance to get in the way of her hat-trick bid. MILOR DE LA VALLEE (2) would have run 3rd in the latter had he not lost his action, and Eric Raffin will be eager to put things right. It was MACK DAIRPET (5) who ultimately filled that spot and will again be expected to contest a place on the podium. Runner-up in a Gr.2 here during the winter meeting, LAMBADA DU GOUTIER (7) most recently secured a Class B under these conditions and even though stepping up in category, nevertheless looks competitive for a first-3 payout.

C8 – PRIX ARIEL – 2850m (a2m) – Class B – Harness – EUR € 60,000 - FRENCHCONNECTION – Imposed here in February but has been eliminated in 3 of last 4 and is unlikely to create an upset
- LEDA MESLOISE – Excellent at 3 but has done nothing but disappoint since and can be confidently passed over
- LEONARDO DE LOU – Capable type but races shod for re-entry and best to keep one’s powder dry
- FORCE OF NATURE – Seldom disappoints when barefoot and applied. Ran 4th under these conditions before winning a Caen Class B Quinté a month ago and should again figure prominently
- LAGUNE PIYA – Gave a good account of herself on re-entry at Lyon-Parilly 10 days ago. Will have come on for the race and is unlikely to be far from the action
- LOTUS GRIFF – Has not won since September but always gives his best when he manages to stay in stride. Is barefoot this time, has form over track and trip, but others still easier to back
- LEADER D’AIMTE – Respectable sort but failed to make the grade under these conditions on penultimate start and is not an obvious choice
- LAGNU MAG – Has failed to finish closer than 5th in last 6 outings and latest effort did little to convince
- LAMONT DU DOUET – Has made the frame in all 3 starts this year, latterly 3rd, a place behind LORD TURGOT (10), in a 2700m Class B here in late-February. Will be justly-rewarded one of these days and must be considered a serious proposition
- LORD TURGOT – Should not be too hastily-judged for being eliminated while prepping for this at Laval. Is barefoot this time and, is already a winner over 2850m, can wrap this up
- FIRST TIME ROC – 3rd in a 2100m Class B in February prior to finishing last in 21 March race of reference, and will need to show marked improvement
- FERAHAN AS – Disappointing in 2 after having given a good account in Gr.1 Prix Bold Eagle, but is better than most here and, if given the chance, can finish close
- LEGACY JIEL – Reverts to racing with pads after twice failing to confirm early-February course-and-distance success. On better behaviour though can play a small part
- FIGHTER KRONOS – Serious Swedish raider that left a good impression when 3rd in a Class B over course and distance 3 weeks ago and, with application, can repeat
- LOBBING DE BLARY – Got the year off to a good start but came disappointing 7th behind FIGHTER KRONOS (14) in a Class B under these conditions 3 weeks ago. Reverts to previous configuration though and, considering the entry, can finish closer
- GREAT PRIDE – Useful at home in Sweden but faces tough test on first appearance for 2 months. Will be barefoot for French debut but still not a concern
Summary: Excellent when barefoot, and seldom disappointing at Vincennes, LORD TURGOT (10) may have no references under these conditions, but he is plainly in rude health and, barefoot this time, will take all the beating. FERAHAN AS (12) tends to prefer a more even track but he is better than recent numbers would suggest and could pleasantly surprise. It took a couple of orientation runs but FIGHTER KRONOS (14) put in quite the showing here recently and will be partnered by Eric Raffin for the first time. LAMONT DU DOUET (9) is clearly close to his race and has thrived with Mathieu Mottier. FORCE OF NATURE (4) got back in the winners’ circle at Caen, has form under these conditions, and must be taken at face value.

- DICANTO – Beaten 2.5-lengths into 2nd on debut in a Conditions race over this course and distance on 18 March. With natural improvement he should run well again
- LOVELY WARRIOR – Unraced 2yo colt by Saxon Warrior out of Kingman mare Lovely Queen trained by Patrice Cottier. Dam’s first foal to race but is related to two-time Gr3 winner Mashoora and Gr2 winner Silk Blossom
- AMAZING SURPRISE – A promising 5th in a Condtions race over this course and distance on 18 March. Was not far behind DICANTO (1) in that run and was finishing well so improvement is expected
- BODY PHYSICAL – A decent 3rd in in a Condtions race over this course and distance on 18 March. Was sandwiched between DICANTO (1) and AMAZING SURPRISE (3) so is another that has to be taken seriously
- SUNNY QUEEN – Unraced 2yo filly by Kingman out of Dubawi mare Sun Bear trained by Patrice Cottier. Her granddam, Great Heavens, was a Gr1 winner in Ireland and finished 6th in the 2012 Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe
- AZAMRA – Unraced 2yo filly by Texas out of Invincible Spirit mare Zahiya trained by Nicholas Perret. Dam has produced a three-time winner
Summary: Small but fascinating field with some runners who performed well on debut and some interesting first timers. Of the unraced runners LOVELY WARRIOR (2) catches the eye as she is well related to some top performers and could have a bright future. DICANTO (1) ran a decent 2nd on debut and that experience could work in his favour, as is the case with AMAZING SURPRISE (3) who was 5th in that race but was running on well. SUNNY QUEEN (5) is another well-related first timer.

C2 – PRIX NOSTRADAMUS – 2000m (a1m1/4) – TURF – Class 1 – Flat – EUR € 27,400 - LOHENGREEN – A strong 2nd in a Conditions race over 1800m at this course on 18 March. He was only beaten 0.5 lengths and was finishing strongly so will benefit from the extra 200m
- FRENCH COLORADO – A fair 5th in a Conditions race over 1800m at this course on 18 March. However, looks held by others on that run and at the same weights is unlikely to reverse that form
- PERSUASIF – Disappointing 9th in a Conditions race over 2000m at Saint-Cloud on 10 March. That was a strong field and he is a lot better than that performance so deserves another chance
- CARCAGNY – A decent 4th in a Conditions race over 1800m at this course on 18 March. She was not far off LOHENGREEN (1) in that event so must be considered
- PINK PANTHERA – A progressive 4th in a Listed race over 2150m at Cagnes on 24 January. That was against a decent field and she has been entered in the Prix de Diane in June so must be highly regarded
- JUST FOR MEME – A moderate 7th in a Conditions Race over 1600m at Bordeaux Le Bouscat on 27 March. Her penultimate run at Chantilly over 1800m was a decent effort and she should enjoy the longer distance this time
- MUHAARIA – Finished 11th in a Listed race over 2000m at Saint Cloud on 24 March. That was a potent field fand she should improve on that effort
Summary: Coming off two good victories in her first two runs, PINK PANTHERA (5) did not embarrass herself when fourth in a Listed race and will be highly competitive in this event. There was a lot to like about the manner in which LOHENGREEN (1) finished off his race over 1800m at this course and will benefit from the longer trip. He should also retain his narrow advantage over CARCAGNY (4) at the weights . PERSUASIF (3) is better than his last race and on his previous win should contest the finish.

- COLONEL MITCH – Finished 6th in a Handicap over 1600m at Saint-Cloud on 24 March. He has three wins and two seconds in five runs at this course, all over either 2000m or 2100m, so must be considered
- LES PETITS PRINCES – Finished 6th in Conditions race over 1600m at Chantilly on 13 February. Did not appear to enjoy racing on the sand and should do a lot better back on the turf.
- MAX VERST – A moderate 7th in a Handicap over 2000m at Saint-Cloud on 10 March. Recent form has not been great but he did win his last race at this course
- KOURPLUVIX – Looked mediocre when 9th in a Handicap over 2000m at Cagnes on 18 February. Has a lot more to do against this field but could place
- BAY D’ARGENT – Ran 5th in a Condtions race over 2000m at Marseille Vivaux on 21 June. Comes back from a long break but has raced in strong fields and does have a good record at this track.
