R1 CABOURG [R-H]

C1 – PRIX DE LISIEUX – 2750m (a1m1/2) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 29,000

  1. MOLLY DU CAUX – Took little time getting back in the game following the spring break, winning a Class D over course and distance three weeks ago. A repeat seems unlikely but still has the capability to get a look in
  2. MISS DU PERCHE – Hardy filly that is undefeated in 2 starts with David Thomain. Has been showing her form since the spring and even though stepping up in class must be respected
  3. MEGINO – Finished 8th in a Class D at Enghien over 2,875m on 12 August. Will appreciate a return to racing clockwise and from the front line can put on a good show. Place chance
  4. LAMENTIN – Showed improvement when 4th in a 2725m Class F here in mid-July but at this level will struggle to repeat
  5. MOJITO DE BANVILLE – Made up for Enghien sanction when 3rd in a Lisieux Class B last Monday. Sports a new configuration and the front-row start will do his chances no disservice
  6. MARQUIS D’ENFER – Won a Class D at Argentan over 2,150m on 8 August. Ran 2nd here a month earlier and, given the entry, is easy to like for a place in the frame
  7. KEL PRESTANCE – Has endured an interrupted career. Is some way off the form he showed as a 4yo and will have nothing to offer on first start back
  8. LIKE MESLOIS – Missed out on the three-timer when eliminated in a Pornichet Class D in mid-July. Won under these conditions on sole start at the venue and deserves to be taken seriously
  9. MONTEQUILLO – Fifth in a Class C at Enghien over 2,875m on 1 July. Has been re-shod for the occasion and in this company looks a serious proposition
  10. LOVE’S SECRET – Finished 13th in a Class B at Bernay over 2,800m on 26 July. Is preferred under the saddle and best to hold off
  11. MUST DREAM – Dominated the opposition in a Class D over 2,050m here on 14 August, making it 4 wins in last 5 starts, and should logically take all the beating
    Summary: MUST DREAM (11) won the Quinté+ here with ease last week and will race in the same configuration. Clement Duvaldestin should be wary though of MONTEQUILLO (9), who has a good opportunity to make his presence felt again. In excellent form and ideally-engaged at the limit of earnings, MARQUIS D’ENFER (6) can be preferred to MEGINO (3), who deserves to be given another chance.

  12. MULANE DU BOCAGE – Third in a Class E at Amiens over 2,400m on 29 July 2026, her best performance for almost 3 months, however a repeat seems unlikely
  13. MASCOTT DU CHOQUEL – Won a Class D over course and distance early last month but was eliminated at Argentan 2 weeks ago. Is never far from faulting but on good behaviour can get in on the action
  14. MOANA DE WALLIS – Sprang an 11-1 surprise when successful in a 2725m Class E here a week ago. Has never delivered at this distance but has pulled a good number and should not be underestimated
  15. MERVEILLEUSE – Won a Class E at Mauquenchy over 2,850m on 23 July after 2 straight eliminations. Is unlikely to repeat but from the 4 slot can give this a good go
  16. MUSE DU VIVIER – Finished 8th in a Class E over 2,750m here on 11 August 2026, her first start for over 4 months. Is clearly in race-mode this time and thoroughly capable of imposing
  17. MAYA DU POMMEAU – Tough winner of a Class E at Amiens over 2,400m on 29 July. Has thrived since moving yards and should be good enough to give MUSE DU VIVIER (5) a run for her money
  18. MOON NORMANDY – Finished 3rd in a Class E at Enghien over 2,875m on 2 August following a pair of disqualifications. Breaks wide on front line but is hard to knock when focused and must be taken seriously
  19. MAGIE D’ORLY – Got back in the game when successful in a Class E over course and distance 10 days ago. Takes on a better lot this time, is not ideally-positioned, but will generate some interest
  20. MILADY DREAM – Started to come good in the spring before subsequently losing her way, and will have little to offer
  21. MARMARA BLEUE – Second in a Class E over course and distance on 11 August 2026. Has been knocking at the door since imposing at Lisieux in May and despite a 2nd line draw, is still worth keeping an eye on
  22. MISS GRAIGNES – Runner-up in two before coming 4th in a Class E over 2,750m here on 14 July. Takes on a better lot this time but can still challenge for minor honours
  23. MELODIE BECO – Runner-up in a Class D at Biarritz over 2,950m on 25 July. Faces a significantly tougher task this time though and can be passed over
  24. MOLLY WHITE – Complicated filly preparing for a campaign in the other code and can be ignored
  25. MADONE PIYA – Unplaced in a Class E at Amiens over 2,400m on 29 July, 2 weeks after having encouraged over longer here, and others easier to back
    Summary: MUSE DU VIVIER (5) has just returned from a break, will have been specifically prepared for this, and will be barefoot for the occasion. She can be preferred to MAYA DU POMMEAU (6), who has quickly regained her form with Antonin André, MOON NORMANDY (7), who could not be better-engaged, and MERVEILLEUSE (4), who is out to confirm her Mauquenchy victory.

  27. LADY AURELIA – Capricious mare but has won 2 of last 3, most recently a Brehal Class F 11 days ago, and will not be far from the action if she deigns to keep her action together
  28. LOUMIA CASTELETS – Won a Caen Class E in June but has twice failed to confirm and can be passed over
  29. LUANA SPORT – Gave a reassuringly-good account when 2nd in a 2750m Class F here 2.5 weeks ago. Is superbly-engaged, well-positioned behind the car, and can impose this time
  30. LOLITA CHARMEUSE – Just missed out on the hat-trick when second in a Class E at Lisieux over 2,725m on 7 June. Is barefoot for re-entry and from the 5 slot can play an important role
  31. LAGHERTHA DU PONT – Ran 7th in a Class E at Meslay-du-Maine over 2,875m on 28 July, 6 weeks after imposing at Vichy, but others still easier to trust
  32. LIBERTY HEROLD – Unplaced in a Class E at Enghien over 2,150m on 23 June. Has been biting off too much since winning at Amiens in May and is unlikely to spice things up
  33. LADY D’HELIOS – Solid during the spring but has subsequently come off the boil and will first need to reassure
  34. LET’S GO SMART – Finished 7th in a Class E Apprentices’ race at Enghien over 2,875m on 13 August. Has been re-shod for the occasion but current form does little to inspire confidence
  35. LUTECE D’OUVILLE – Was not disgraced when 6th in a Class E at Enghien over 2,875m on 25 July. Is not a priority but can still get a look in
  36. LADY EVER – Second in a Class F Apprentices’ race at Amiens over 2,400m on 29 July, after having imposed at Les Andelys earlier in the month, but is being aimed too high this time
  37. LADY CHANNEL – Comfortable winner of a Class F over 2,725m here on 17 July. Simply excels at the venue and even from the back line looks the horse to beat
  38. LARISSE D’ECHAL – Victorious in a Class F at Montier En Der over 3,025m on 9 August. Has hardly put a foot wrong over recent months and is easy to like for the win. Chance
    Summary: There is little between LUANA SPORT (4), who met a very tough rival here on 4 August, LADY CHANNEL (12), who is behind in earnings, LARISSE D’ECHAL (13), a recent winner when racing barefoot, and LOLITA CHARMEUSE (5) who has been consistently competitive since the spring.

  40. NELSON GREENWOOD – Finished 4th in a Class B at Enghien over 2,875m on 29 July, somewhat making up for losing his action at Enghien late last month, and if applied should finish in the mix
  41. EXPRESS D’ARC – Sent for a break after winning a Vincennes Quinte in January. Has struggled since returning to competition and will have nothing to offer
  42. KESITO D’URVILLE – Finished 2nd in a Class E at La Roche-Posay over 3,150m on 9 August. Has hardly put a foot out of line this term, will be barefoot this time, but may be taking on too much
  43. IBANQUE LEBEL – Has looked rather ordinary since returning from her lengthy layoff, most recently unplaced in a Class E under these conditions 2 weeks ago, and will have few takers
  44. KNOCKONWOOD – Finished 5th in a Class B at Enghien over 2,150m on 6 August. Has not won for some time, and is not about to this time either, but he has been holding his own lately and merits attention
  45. KRYSTAL PIYA – Handy sort that encouraged at Enghien a fortnight ago when 4th in a 2150m Class B. Is not a priority but has the wherewithal to give this a good go
  46. KAISER – Authoritative winner of a Class D over course and distance on 3 July. Ran 2nd at Brehal next time and should again prove competitive when push comes to shove
  47. JERICHO DU RIB – Won a Class D at La Capelle over 2,700m on 20 July. Has done nothing but improve lately, however he is being conditioned here and will have other priorities
  48. INDOCILE – Ran 7th in a Class E at Cabourg over 2,750m on 10 July. Has placed just once in 12 starts this year and is not about to spring any surprises
  49. EVERY TIME WINNER – Runner-up in a Class B at Chatelaillon over 2,625m on 12 July. Is plainly close to his race and at this level should have the measure of most, if not all
  50. BROTHERS IN ARMS – Unplaced in a Class A at Enghien over 2,150m on 23 May. Not the easiest to handle but has form at a superior level and cannot be discounted
  51. PANTOCRATOR – Should not be too hastily-judged for faulting in a Class B over course and distance on 17 July. Has already won twice this term and will be barefoot as he was at Graignes. First five
  52. DAYAK (ITY) – Won a Vincennes Class E in June before landing an Enghien Class D a month later. Lost all chance at the start next time but will be a tough nut to crack if Yoann Lebourgeois keeps him focused
  53. IGGYPOP D’HERFRAIE – Finished 12th in a Class D at Cabourg over 2,750m on 31 July. Has otherwise been in good shape but would be preferred a level down
  54. IVOIRE PRESTANCE – Finished 11th in a Class D at Cabourg over 2,750m on 31 July. Benefits from a good entry but looks to be out of his depth
    Summary: Fourth in three Gr.3s since the start of the year, EVERY TIME WINNER (11) recently proved his form at Châtelaillon-La Rochelle and could well get the better of all of his rivals this time. DAYAK (14), who scored twice before faulting at Enghien, can lead the opposition alongside the reconfigured KAISER (8), impressive winner here early last month, and NELSON GREENWOOD (2), fourth in a good race at Enghien last time. PANTOCRATOR (13), racing barefoot after a recent clinker here, can also play a prominent role.

  55. LUCA BAROSSO – Should not be too quickly condemned for failing to deliver here late last month. Debuts for his new yard, has already won for Mathieu Mottier as jockey, and can now do so as trainer
  56. INDIGO GEDE – Has been completely off the boil for past 3 months and in this company will have nothing to offer
  57. HEPAX SPEED – Placed on turf 2 months ago but has done nothing noteworthy since and can be confidently disregarded
  58. JUST PACHA – Excellent servant that won his second of the summer when securing a Class F at Le Sap earlier in the month. Has never failed to fire at Cabourg and is not about to start now. Chance
  59. PARKER – Came encouraging 4th in a Class F at Abbeville a fortnight ago but others still preferred
  60. JAGUAR GEMA – Won a Class F at St Jean De Monts over 2,625m on 9 August 2026. Is consistently in the thick of things and, although unlikely to repeat, should nevertheless hold his own
  61. JIHERE DU PORET – Went into her spring break on a good note but has failed to deliver since returning to competition, most recently disqualified in a Class D at Vichy over 2,950m on 1 July, and is not an obvious choice
  62. JAZERANE – Won a Class E over course and distance on 7 August. Simply excels with Alexis Collette who will be justifiably anticipating another big performance
  63. HEIDI DU BISET – Has struggled since imposing at Le Mont-Saint-Michel in late-June, lastly unplaced in a Class E Apprentices’ race over 2,725m here on 4 August, and is unlikely to upset the status quo
  64. IDEAL DE BANNES – Victorious in a Class E at Vibraye over 3,100m on 15 August 2026, putting behind him a poor run at Vichy in early-July. Hélia Fernandes Rios keeps the drive and will justifiably generate interest
  65. JADE DU PARC – Ran reassuring third in a Class E at Meslay-du-Maine over 2,875m on 28 July after having lost her action at Vichy the previous month. Has not delivered here for some time, but in current condition is hard to ignore
    Summary: Sporting a new configuration on his first start for Mathieu Mottier, LUCA BAROSSO (1) should make amends for his disappointing run here on 31 July. At the top of his game, JUST PACHA (4) can lead the opposition alongside JAZERANE (8), who is capable of making an immediate impact on her ridden debut, and Antonin André’s second runner, IDEAL DE BANNES (10), who scored at the first time of asking for his new connections.

  67. NORIANO BELLO – Ran 2nd to a very good horse in a 2725m Class E here 2 weeks ago. Is well in on the front row and looks thoroughly capable of imposing this time
  68. NEW MAN ANGELE – Finished 2nd in a Class E over 2,725m here on 7 August 2026. Appears to have got his act together and his latest run here bodes well for his chances
  69. NITAI SANTMIXO – Finished 3rd in a Class E at Amiens over 2,400m on 29 July. Is not about to lose his maiden tag but is in sufficiently good shape to contest a place on the podium
  70. NEFERT D’ALESA – Encouraging fourth in a Class E over 2,725m here on 17 July. Has no references at this distance but is nicely-drawn and in present shape is worth keeping an eye on
  71. N’OUBLIE PAS – Finished 3rd in a Class E at Cherbourg over 2,625m on 24 June. Is plainly close to his race and from the front line can give this a good go. Place prospect
  72. NEON DU PARC – Showed improvement when 5th in a 2725m Class E here 2 weeks ago, his first clockwise start, but still needs to find more
  73. NUMENOR’S FELLA – Finished 3rd in a Class F at Chateaubriant over 2,400m on 7 August 2026. Will not be sent out at 64-1 this time and could even challenge for the win
  74. NELSON MELODY – Sports 4 pads for the first time after running 5th in a Brehal Class F on 10 August. Is as tricky as they get though and others easier to trust
  75. NEW YORK STEF – Unexceptional sort taking a hike in category after a poor showing at Abbeville a fortnight ago, and appears to have no possible chance
  76. NO EXPECTATIONS – Qualified respectably in July but was eliminated on debut earlier this month and is unlikely to shake things up
    Summary: NORIANO BELLO (2) looks to have ample ability for a race of this calibre and can be preferred to NUMENOR’S FELLA (8), sporting front pads for the first time, the consistent N’OUBLIE PAS (6), and NEW MAN ANGELE (3), provided he stays in stride.

  78. ODESSA DE MORGANE – Made amends for modest debut when second in a Class E at Saint Malo over 2,150m last weekend and, with form maintained, can make the frame once again
  79. ONE NIGHT IN RIO – Serious filly that finished 4th behind ORIGINE CASTELLE (4) in a Class E under these conditions 2.5 weeks ago. Will be entrusted to David Thomain for the first time and has a realistic chance of bringing home the bacon
  80. ORIGINE CASTELLE – Ran third on debut in a Class E at Cabourg over 2,050m on 4 August, confirming her good qualification, and from the 4 slot can get her nose in front this time
  81. OLA VALLIERE – Qualified without fanfare on 8 July, then ran out victorious in a Class F at Bernay over 2,300m 18 days later. Faces better horses this time but has pulled a good number and can make first five
  82. OCACINA – Disqualified in both starts to date, most recently a Class E over course and distance 2.5 weeks ago, and will have few friends
  83. OLBIA CASTELETS – Finished 4th in a Class E at Saint Malo over 2,150m on 15 August, first time out. Will have come on for the run but others still easier to back
  84. OPALE DE L’OISON – Set off no fireworks in qualification at Caen in early-June. Is nicely-related though and will not be far off the mark if Esteban De Jésus successfully negotiates the start
  85. OVADA – Gave a good account on debut when 4th behind ODESSA DE MORGANE (2) in a Saint-Malo Class E last weekend. Faces a stiffer test this time but should nevertheless acquit herself honourably
  86. OMBREE JISCE – Career debutante that qualified respectably at Meslay in June. Starts on back line but hails from a yard going good-guns and must be afforded respect
    Summary: ORIGINE CASTELLE (4) and ONE NIGHT IN RIO (3) recently finished in that order here and should battle it out for victory this time. ODESSA DE MORGANE (2), a good second at Saint-Malo, and newcomer OPALE DE L’OISON (8) can also be considered.

  87. NEMESIS SOLEDAD – Looked decidedly ordinary on debut when well-beaten in a 2375m Dozule Class F on 12 August, and is not about to influence the outcome
  88. NORGAFLORE – Disqualified on debut in a Class F at St Jean De Monts over 2,625m on 2 August. Christopher Corbineau takes over in the saddle and enjoys a good opportunity to make amends
  89. NANA PAULLH – Ran 7th on debut in a Class F at St Jean De Monts over 2,625m on 2 August. Will be fitted with pads this time but still not an obvious choice
  90. NOSTALGIE JIEL – Finished 7th on debut in a Class E at La Capelle over 2,750m on 7 July. Will have come on for the run, sports pads this time, and should not be overlooked
  91. NAYA DE MYE – Nicely-related filly switching codes for the first time after having failed to impress under harness, and could pleasantly surprise
  92. NIKA LEGACY – Disappointing on the whole since her April debut, most recently disqualified in a Dozule Class F last week, and can be ruled out
  93. NAELE DU POMMEREUX – Has failed to place in 7 starts to date and is expected to maintain the trend
  94. NATIVE D’AUVERS – Not the easiest of horses to handle but has ample ability and can contest the finish if Adrien Lamy manages to keep her trotting
  95. NUSICA ASSCHADEL – Modest individual that has yet to show any particular flair for the code and is not about to create an upset
  96. NORMANDY JOSSELYN – Entrusted to Alexis Collette following a pair of sanctions under harness. Clearly has promise and can play a leading role if she takes to the new conditions
  97. NOUBA CASTELETS – Ran 5th on monte debut here on 24 July but has not been quite as sharp since. In this company though, could play a small part
  98. NOVA DE LA VALLEE – Finished modest 7th in a 2375m Dozule Class F last week, her first start in the discipline, and will need to find considerably more
  99. NANALAND – Showed promise during the spring but has failed to make any impact since. Was prepared for this under harness here 10 days ago but others still preferred
  100. NOUVELLE D’ATOUT – Finished 4th in a Class F over course and distance on 4 August, but is considerably better than the result would suggest, and can wrap this up
    Summary: NOUVELLE D’ATOUT (14), reliable in this discipline, and the delicate NATIVE D’AUVERS (8) can be preferred to NORMANDY JOSSELYN (10), who will be no pushover if she takes to the new discipline, and NORGAFLORE (2), who should not be too harshly-treated for faulting first time out.

  3. IDRA DESBOIS – Not reliable and finished 9th in Class F at Aix-les-Bains over 2000m on 4 August. Has a place chance on best form
  4. ICIANO – Off form and finished 9th in Class G at this track over 2600m on 16 August. Needs to find a few lengths to score
  5. KISS ME DU RUEL – Disqualified twice in his last three starts, including last time out in Class F over this course and distance on 9 August. Not easy to trust but can be a threat if at best
  6. INDIGO – Disqualified last time out in Class H at Aix-les-Bains over 2700m on 8 August. Battling to find his best form and others make more appeal
  7. HALDO DE LA CLOUE – Showed some improvement when fourth in a Class G at this track over 2000m on 18 August. Might play a minor role
  8. IDUNN – In good form and finished third in Class G at this track over 2600m on 16 August. Can get into the mix of things once more
  9. KLASSIC MUSIC – Showed what she is capable of with a victory in a Class F mounted race over this track and trip on 18 August. Capable of doubling up
  10. KASANE DU BISET – Successful last time out in a Class G at this course over 2000m on 18 August. In good form and is capable of doubling up
    Summary: KASANE DU BISET (10) won comfortably at this course last time and looks the one to beat. IDEAL LOVER (1) finished strongly that day and is an obvious danger. INO PURPLE (2) has been consistently competitive at this level and should be involved again. IDUNN (8), the second Masschaele-trained runner, also has claims

  12. LISANDRO DE LOU – Much improved of late and finished third in a Class E harness race at this course over 2600m on 10 August. Successful in a mounted race before that and has claims
  13. KHEOPS DU LOISIR – Not reliable and was fifth in a Class F harness race at Saint-Galmier over 2000m on 21 July. Might earn some minor money when in the right mood
  14. KLEOPATRE D’ALFORT – – Unreliable but was successful last time out in a Class E mounted race at Neuille-Pont-Pierre over 3000m on 2 August. Tougher task but can be a threat
  15. LOVE ME DE CERISY – Unreliable but was runner-up in a Class F mounted race at Saint-Galmier over 2675m on 21 July. Can contest the finish
  16. LOVER SIXTY ONE – Disqualified twice in a row, the latest in a Class D harness race at this track over 2600m on 18 August. Hard to trust and others are preferred
  17. KATKO DES CAILLONS – A winner last time out in a Class F mounted race at Nort-sur-Erdre over 2400m on 10 August. Capable of doubling up
    Summary: KATKO DES CAILLONS (7) made the most of his return to the mounted discipline, winning on his debut for trainer Alexis Grimault, and looks well placed to follow up in this tailor-made race. LISANDRO DE LOU (2) returns to the saddle with strong ambitions after finishing a good third in harness racing recently.   72. MATELOT KERYANN – Disqualified last time out in a Class F at Chateaubriant over 2,300m on 7 June. Remains barefoot and could bounce back to score
  73. MERRY DAY – Disqualified in a Class E at Cabourg over 2,050m on 11 August. Remains barefoot but is battling to show best form and makes little appeal
  74. MANGO DU POMMEREUX – Came home 7th in a Class F at La Capelle over 2,700m on 24 July. Remains barefoot but is unreliable and others are preferred
  75. MISS JENILOU – Disqualified twice in a row, the latest in a Class F at Agon-Coutainville over 2,225m on 7 August. Not easy to trust but can contest the finish
  76. MILONGA DE LOU – Finished 6th in a class F at Pornichet-La-Baule over 2,725m on 23 July. Has only been modest of late and more is needed to score
  77. MAVISTA – Finished 7th in a class F at La Roche-Posay over 3,175m on 9 August. Battling to show best form and others make more appeal
  78. METEORE DE JOUDES – Outclassed the opposition in a Class F at Graignes over 2,700m on 27 June. Successful twice in a row and could complete the treble
  79. MARTALINE THE BEST – Unplaced in a Class E at Du Mans over 2,200m on 13 July. Remains barefoot and is capable of earning some money
  80. MARIO TREMBLADAIS – Came home 6th in a Class E at Saint Malo over 2,950m on 11 August. Not reliable but can play a minor role at best
  81. MADEMOISELLE ROSE – in good form and was third in a class F at Agon-Coutainville over 2,225m on 7 August. Remains barefoot and can be a lively danger
  82. MIRACLE D’ALEXIANE – Finished 7th in a Class D at Pornichet over 2,725m on 18 July. Hs only been moderate of late and more is needed to beat these rivals
    Summary: METEORE DE JOUDES (10) made a big impression on two occasions in June and looks hard to beat once again. MATELOT KERYANN (4) had been highly consistent before his disqualification on June 7th and deserves another chance. METEOR JALLERIE (1) should not be judged too harshly on his latest effort after winning on grass the time before. MISS JENILOU (7) was unlucky last time out and is another who can bounce back to score.

  85. NUIT TRANSEENNE – Finished fifth in a Class E mounted race at this course over 2,150m 12 August. Can earn some money this distance
  86. NOSCAVIVA LUDOISE – Finished third in a Class G mounted race at St Aubin Les Elbeuf over 2,750m on 14 June. Improving and could make the frame again
  87. NELSON D’ARIANE – Disqualified twice in last thre starts, the latest in a Class E mounted race at Cabourg over 2,750m on 21 July. Others make more appeal
  88. NINJA DES LUCAS – Finished fourth in a Class E mounted race at this track over 2,150m on 12 August. Can earn some minor money
  89. NOISETTE LUDOISE – Finished 9th in a Class F harness race at Brehal over 2,325m on 10 August. Tries a mounted race and could earn some money
  90. NYDAM DE FELLIERE – Unplaced in a Class F harness race at Avranches over 2,725m on 4 August. Has done much better under the saddle and can bounce back to score
  91. NASTREE DU VINOIS – Disqualified last time out in a Class E mounted race at this course over 2,150m on 12 August. Unreliable but can be a threat if smart
  92. NICO DU RIB – Consistent of late and finished fourth in a Class F mounted race at Cabourg over 2,750m on 7 August. Should fight it out
    Summary: NYDAM DE FELLIERE (8) made a quiet comeback in harness racing with this race clearly in mind and, in a field containing plenty of uncertainties, offers the strongest guarantees. NICO DU RIB (10) always gives his best and looks a solid second choice. NOSCAVIVA LUDOISE (4), racing in lighter shoes could get involved with the finish. NASTREE DU VINOIS (9), partnered by Benjamin Rochard, is also capable of making her presence felt in this lucky last race.
