C1 – SUMBE PRIX DU CALVADOS – 1400m (a7f) – TURF – – Flat – EUR € 119,000

  1. LE BON TEMPS ROULE – Victorious in a Maiden at this course over 1,200m on 15 August. Clearly talented and has been supplemented. Respect
  2. HINATA GREY – Finished 4th in a Group 3 at Deauville over 1,200m on 2 August. Not disgraced that day and can be competitive in this line-up
  3. WOOT WOOT – Consistent so far and finished 3rd in a Group 3 over this course and distance on 2 August. Should fight out the finish
  4. DEE’S FUNNY GIRL – Showed what she is capable of when a runner-up in a Group 3 at Ascot over 1,200m on 25 July. Could be the one to beat
  5. DIVINA FE – Has run well without scoring both starts and was runner-up in a Maiden over this course and distance on 9 August. Tougher task this time
  6. YUQUOT – Came home 5th in a Group 3 over this track and trip on 2 August. Not disgraced that day and could make the frame
    Summary: DEE’S FUNNY GIRL (4) made a disappointing debut for her new connections at the end of July but bounced back with an excellent performance, narrowly missing out on victory. WOOT WOOT (3) heads the opposition after a convincing effort in a recent Group 3 over this course and distance. the supplemented LE BON TEMPS ROULE (1) is moving up the ranks with leading ambitions. YUQUOT (6) has the benefit of experience and can also make the frame.

  7. GOYA SENORA – Came home 6th in a Class 2 at Clairefontaine over 2,900m on 11 July. Needs to do a bit more to beat these rivals
  8. DEFIANTLY – Successful in a handicap at Goodwood over 4,100m on 31 July. Drops in distance but deserves respect for that victory
  9. BARBATE – Fnished fourth in a Group2 at Longchamp over 2,800m on 14 July. Had a string of successes before that and can bunce back to score
  10. DOUBLE MAJOR – Consistent and finished 3rd in a Group 2 at Longchamp over 2,800m on 14 July. Usually competitive and is quite capable of scoring
  11. SANTORINI STAR – Returned to form when runner-up in a Group 2 at Goodwood over 2,800m on 1 August. Can go one better this time
  12. AERONEF – Still improving and finished 2nd in a Listed race over this track and trip on 8 August. Clearly not out of it
    Summary: DOUBLE MAJOR (4) is bidding for a hat-trick in this Group 2 and boasts an impressive record at Deauville, having finished in the top two on all four starts. SANTORINI STAR (5) is a serious threat after being narrowly beaten last time and finishing runner-up on both French starts. Fellow British raider DEFIANTLY (2) was supplemented for good reason and merits respect. AERONEF (6) receives weight, stays well and faces older horses for the first time, so should not be underestimated.

  14. TIEGO THE FIRST – Holding form and finished 4th in a Class 2 Handicap over this course and distance on 4 August. Has claims in an open looking race
  15. DARING PRINCE – Unplaced in a Class 1 Handicap at Longchamp over 2,000m on 10 May. Returns from a break but is a lively danger
  16. LE COMBAT CONTINUE – Came home 5th in a Listed at Clairefontaine over 2,400m on 1 August. Not disgraced and does have a place chance in this line-up
  17. GERARD TER BORCH – Finished 6th in a Class 2 Handicap over this track and trip on 4 August. Successful before that and can bounce back to score
  18. JOHNNY HAMMER – Showed some improvement when 3rd in a Class 2 Handicap over this course and distance on 4 August. Can be competitive again
  19. GANASS – Finished 5th in a Class 2 Handicap over this course and distance on 4 August. Capable of doing better and is not out of it
  20. EVERILLO – Finished 7th in a Class 2 Handicap over this track and trip on 4 August. Has only been modest of late and others make more appeal
  21. PACIFISTE – Finished third in a Listed race at Doha over 2,200m on 23 April. Returns from a break and could need this run
  22. PAOLINO – Successful in a Class 2 Handicap at Longchamp over 2,000m on 10 May. Returns from a break but could need this run
  23. STARNBERG – Finished fifth in a Class 3 at Vichy over 2,000m on 12 August. Not reliable but might play a minor role at very best
  24. AMERICAN GLORY – Finished 8th in a Class 2 Handicap at Clairefontaine over 1,800m on 3 August. Unreliable but could be the surprise package of the race
  25. PRINCE DES VILLES – Came home 8th in a Class 2 Handicap over this track and trip on 4 August. Seems capable of better and is not out of it
  26. NOUS Y SOMMES – Finished 6th in a Class 2 Handicap at Mont De Marsan over 2,000m on 26 July. Has only been modest of late and more is needed to score
  27. GUILLERETTE – Successful in a Class 3 Handicap at this course over 1,900m on 11 August. Liked the PSF that day and is probably better on that surface
    Summary: GERARD TER BORCH (5) has already proven himself at this level and, despite a troubled passage, ran well in the reference race over this course and distance. The softer ground is in his favour and he should be involved in the finish. JOHNNY HAMMER (6) and TIEGO THE FIRST (2), who finished third and fourth respectively that day, also merit plenty of respect. PRINCE DES VILLES (13) caught the eye most of all after being denied a clear run and could have finished much closer. He deserves another chance.

  30. CARRY THE FLAG – Not reliable but was fourth in a Group 1 at Curragh over 1,200m on 9 August. Stable companion looks better but can play a role
  31. GREAT BARRIER REEF – Unbeaten in three starts, the latest in a Group 2 at Ascot over 1,200m on 16 June. Looks the one they all have to beat
  32. MAN’S BEST FRIEND – Successful twice in a row, the latest in a Group 2 at Goodwood over 1,200m on 30 July. Can complete a hat-trick
  33. DRAZINDA – A winner of a Listed race at this course over 1,000m on 8 August. Improving and could earn some more money
  34. SENORITA BONITA – A winner of two of three starts, including last time out in a Group 2 at Newmarket over 1,200m on 10 July. Can be a threat to these rivals
  35. KOSUMA – Unbeaten in three starts, the latest in a Group 3 over this track and trip on 2 August. Should be right there at the finish
    Summary: Aidan O’Brien fields three, with GREAT BARRIER REEF (4), a Group 2 winner in June, looking the pick of his team and already proven with Wayne Lordan. Unbeaten French filly KOSUMA (8) receives a weight allowance and will bid to emulate Venetian Sun, who famously beat the colts in this Group 1 last summer. SENORITA BONITA (7) has been freshened up for this target and must be respected. MAN’S BEST FRIEND (5) is improving fast and made an excellent impression at the end of July.

  36. CANKOURA – Victorious in a Listed race at Chantilly over 2100m on 19 July. Second in a Group 1 in the USA before that. Tougher task this time but could earn some money
  37. RED LETTER – Very consistent and was 3rd at Curragh over 2010m on 27 June. Very game and can get into the mix of things once again
  38. QILIN QUEEN – Finished 5th at York over 2050m on 24 July. Clearly needs to find a few lengths to beat these rivals
  39. AVENTURE – Consistent mare and came home 4th in the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud over 2,400m on 5 July. Highly talented and can get involved with the finish
  40. PINK PANTHERA – Ultra-consistent and was runner-up in a Group 2 at Longchamp over 2,400m on 14 July. Very close second to DIAMOND NECKLACE (11) in the Prix de Diane mid-June. Should be right there at the finish once again
  41. TIMEFORSHOWCASING – Not reliable but was runner-up in a Group I at Munich-Riem over 2,000m on 26 July. This looks stronger but might play a minor role
  42. REBEL MOON – Finished 4th in the Irish Oaks at Curragh over 2400m on 18 July. Has more to offer and is not out of it
  43. BEAUTIFY – Finished 7th at The Curragh over 2400m on 18 July. Has not been at her best of late and her stable companion does appear better
  44. PIERCHIC – Threatening to win and was runner-up in a Group 3 at Chantilly over 1,800m on 19 July. This is a tougher race and others make more appeal
  45. MOMENTS OF JOY – Not disgraced when 5th at Goodwood over 2000m on 30 July. Hard to see her beat her stable companions but might play a minor role
  46. DIAMOND NECKLACE – Outclassed the opposition in a Group I at Goodwood over 2,000m on 30 July. Unbeaten in 6 starts and can score again
    Summary: Prix de Diane (Group 1) winner DIAMOND NECKLACE (11) is unbeaten in six starts and sets a formidable standard, making her the one to beat. PINK PANTHERA (5) has pushed her closest among her previous rivals and looks the obvious danger if she can find further improvement. Older rival AVENTURE (4) has finished in the top two on both starts at Deauville and deserves respect, REBEL MOON (7) still has scope to progress and could get involved with the finish.

  49. SIMANCAS – Outclassed the opposition in a Class 3 Handicap at Chantilly over 1,800m on 7 July. Successful three times in last five starts and can score again
  50. FLASH GIRL – In good form and was fourth in a handicap at Chantilly over 2000m on 7 July. Can win a race of this nature
  51. HAPPY SAXON – Has improved of late and was fourth in a Class 2 Handicap at Clairefontaine over 1,800m on 3 August. Can be more competitive this time
  52. SWIFT FLIGHT – In good form and was fourth in a Class 2 Handicap at this course over 1,600m on 8 August. Has a place chance in this line-up
  53. MON COMEDIEN – Showed some improvement when runner-up in a Class 3 Handicap at this course over 1,900m on 11 August. Can earn some money
  54. ASLAN SENORA – Victorious last time out in a Class 4 at Les Sables D’Olonne over 1,950m on 6 August. Can be a threat to these rivals
  55. DORIANELLO – Came home 6th in a Class 4 at this trackover 1,500m on 6 August. Might need to a bit more to beat these rivals
  56. SOGYNT – Came home 9th in a Class 4 Handicap at Vichy over 2,000m on 15 August. Battling to find best form and others make more appeal
  57. BALAKOVNA – Finished 2nd in a Class 3 Handicap at Clairefontaine over 1,800m on 3 August. Capable of earning some more money
  58. CLICCLIC PANPANPAN – Finished 10th in a Class 3 Handicap over this track and trip on 4 August. Needs to find a few lengths to score
  59. JOYEUSE SAGE – Came home 9th in a Class 3 Handicap over this course and distance on 4 August. Capable of doing better but others make more appeal
  60. HANSOTTOGRUBER – Successful in a Class 4 Handicap at Vittel over 2,100m on 27 July. Carries a penalty but is capable of earning some money
    Summary: FLASH GIRL (4) made a very good impression when making her debut on the Deauville turf and should appreciate the easier ground, making her a leading contender. HAPPY SAXON (5) also caught the eye when prominent in a recent handicap and is clearly on the upgrade. SIM CARD (2) arrives in good form and should be involved once again. SIMANCAS (3) carries a penalty for an easy recent victory but remains a serious threat.

  63. ROMANCIER NOCTURNE – Not reliable but was 4th in a handicap at Clairefontaine-Deauville over 1400m on 6 July. Can get involved with the finish once again
  64. FILLETTE DU HOULEY – Came home 6th in a Maiden at Granville over 1,700m on 13 July. Needed the last run and can contest the finish
  65. HODIE MIHI – Finished 9th in a Maiden at Compiegne over 1,800m on 16 July. Has shown little in three starts but could improve trying a handicap
  66. HALSEY – Victorious in a handicap at Clairefontaine-Deauville over 1400m on 10 August. Not reliable but can follow up carrying a penalty
  67. SOCIANDO – Not disgraced when 5th in a handicap at Saint-Malo over 1800m on 1 August. Did better before that and should be very competitive
  68. MAURICIA – Holding form and finsihed finished 4th in a Class 3 at Compiegne over 1,600m on 28 July. Can earn some more minor money
  69. ALINKA – Has been competitive of late and finished 3rd in a handicap at Vichy over 1400m on 30 July. Can be a lively danger
  70. WHAKA – Often competitive and finished 5th in a handicap at Clairefontaine-Deauville over 1400m on 10 August. Ha claims in this race
    Summary: WHAKA (10) has shaped well in two recent starts with Marvin Grandin and should appreciate this return to a mile. Competitive from this handicap mark, ROMANCIER NOCTURNE (3) is not reliable but also holds strong claims. FILLETTE DU HOULEY (4) makes her debut at this level and should not be underestimated. SOCIANDO (7) has adapted well to his new surroundings, as his last three performances suggest, and is another to consider.

  75. NUGHAYA FAL – Came home 8th in a Class 3 at Vittel over 1,600m on 19 July. Has not shown much so far and others are preferred
  76. ASPRILA – Outclassed the opposition in a Class 3 at Vichy over 1,400m on 12 August. Unreliable but cannot be ruled out from more success
  77. PRESSURE TEST – Finished 9th in a handicap at Dieppe over 1800m on 13 July. Unreliable but is capable of contesting the finish
  78. ANDRESY – Finished 13th in a claimer at this course over 1500m on 11 August. Needs to do a lot more to beat these rivals
  79. PINK FEVER – Finished 7th in a handicap at Clairefontaine-Deauville over 1800m on 3 July. Has only been moderate so far and others make more appeal
  80. DANAFLO – Finished 8th in a handicap at Compiegne over 1600m on 16 July. Not reliable but is capable of earning some money
    Summary: Under the expert guidance of Mathieu Brasme, QUEEN LUNA GAME (4) showed improvement last time and should confirm that progress on her first attempt over a mile. I LIKED IT (1) was outpaced over 1,300 metres last time but remains of interest, while FASOLDOFA (3) arrives after a solid effort in a conditions race. PRESSURE TEST (7) has claims on the form of her penultimate start in this competitive lucky last race.

C1 – PRIX DU CONSEIL REGIONAL D’OCCITANIE – 2550m (a1m1/2) – – Mounted – EUR € 34,000

  1. DUMA NEH D’ASTI – Respectable at home in Italy but has made no impact since returning to France and can be passed over
  2. IN THE MOOD GEDE – Well-beaten in a harness Class H at Mansle a week ago. Returns to his code of preference with a new rider in the irons and can pick up some prizemoney
  3. DUBLIN FI – Second in a Class E at Monflanquin over 2,500m on 10 May, her best monte performance to date. Has not raced since but is barefoot for the occasion, and can give this a good go
  4. HAPPY DE NARMONT – Unplaced in a Class F at Montignac-Charente over 2,600m on 23 July. Sports modified shoeing but still has no possible chance
  5. JAGERSRO – Has found his way this summer, latterly 3rd in a Brehal Class E late last month. Is shod as he was when successful at Cabourg in early-July and merits considerable respect
  6. JACQUES D’AVEL – Won 4 on the trot, 2 in each code, before running 2nd under harness in a Castera-Verduzan Class G a fortnight ago. Imposed with Sandy Treich at Biarritz and, from the front row, can do so again
  7. JANEIRO TURGOT – Finished 4th in a Class F at Amiens over 2,400m on 29 July. Has been knocking at the door over recent months and will be competitive when push comes to shove
  8. IRISH SONG – Finished 11th in a Class F at Castera-Verd. over 2,800m on 10 August. Has made no impact on a hard surface for some time and is not about to begin now
  9. HAMPTON AMERICA – Encouraged in a harness claimer here in June but has been a write-off since and is not about to shake things up
  10. IMPULSIF D’AVENIR – Finished 7th in a Class F at Royan-La Palmyre over 2,475m on 9 August, 2 weeks after having encouraged at Gabarret, but is being aimed too high
  11. KATCHINA FOR CLARA – Finished 3rd in a Class E Apprentices’ race at Argentan over 2,875m on 8 August. Is just one of two on the back row but has the capability of imposing
  12. I LOVE D’AMOUR – Unplaced on re-entry in a Class C at Enghien over 2,250m on 2 August. Is confirmed at the venue and, while not a priority from the second row, should nevertheless hold his own
    Summary: KATCHINA FOR CLARA (11) faces a task well within her capabilities and even from the second row is in with a realistic chance of winning this. She faces strong opposition though from a group of front-row starters, led by the Terry runners, JACQUES D’AVEL (6), who has won both his starts under the saddle this year, JANEIRO TURGOT (7), who is in excellent form, and a re-shod JAGERSRO (5) who has been revitalised this summer.

  13. NOUMBA D’YVI – Finished 2nd in a Class F at Eauze over 2,375m on 2 August, 2 weeks after getting off the mark at Aurillac. In this category though, will have too much to do
  14. NEZHA DU PATURAL – Has not been seen out since running third in a Class E at Langon over 2,200m on 6 April and is going to need the run
  15. NAIADE SIBEY – Unplaced in a Class E at Villereal over 2,450m on 14 August, following a trio of good performances. Takes on a better lot here though and will need to find more
  16. NOVA D’ALOUETTE – Finished 2nd in a Class E at Villereal over 2,450m on 14 August. Has yet to lose her maiden tag, and is unlikely to this time either, but still has the wherewithal to get in on the action
  17. NASA RIRY – Fifth in a Class E at Biarritz over 2,150m on 7 July, 5 days after losing her maiden status. Sports modified shoeing but is still not a concern
  18. NINO DE LIGNY – Fifth in a Class E at Villereal over 2,450m on 14 August, failing to confirm good Hyeres performance, and is not a contender
  19. NOUBA D’ATOUT – Serious sort with considerable potential. Is new to Beaumont but should take well to the new conditions and can bring the fight to NEWTON GAB (12)
  20. NOUBA BAROQUE – Good, consistent filly that made up for Agen sanction when 2nd under the saddle at Biarritz. Has demonstrated good aptitude for the harness code and despite the hike in category, can still play a small part
  21. NEWTON DU PADOUENG – Won 2 in a row before being eliminated in an Auch Class C last Monday. Should not be too quickly-condemned though and, with application, can challenge for a place in the frame
  22. NIGHT DE JANEIRO – Eliminated in last 2, most recently a Class B at Grenade-sur-Garonne last weekend, but will be reunited with her trainer for whom she has never failed to fire, and looks to represent a decent place chance
  23. NIGHT DE BANVILLE – Unexceptional filly that has twice failed to make any impact lately, most recently 7th in an Auch Class C last Monday, and others easier to recommend
  24. NEWTON GAB – Fifth in a Class C at Auch over 2,700m on 17 August, her first start since November. Will have come on for the race and, confirmed at the venue, is easy to fancy for the win
  25. NANCY DE GOUYE – Finished 5th in a Class D at Chatelaillon over 2,500m on 3 August 2026. Has yet to strike for her new handler but it is just a question of time
    Summary: NEWTON GAB (12) was far from disgraced on his recent comeback and, likely to improve, can take the spoils. NOUBA D’ATOUT (7) gave a fine account despite faulting last time and, if she stays in stride, is also capable of playing a leading role. NIGHT DE JANEIRO (10) has ability and will not be far off the mark if focused. NEWTON DU PADOUENG (9) failed to secure the hat-trick when disqualified at Auch and Pierre Geray will be eager to set the record straight.

  26. MAYA DES BAUX – Fifth in a Class D at Fleurance over 2,600m on 9 August 2026. Is the least-performant horse in the field and can be confidently ruled out
  27. MIRAGE D’ERPION – Got back in the winners’ circle 2 weeks ago after securing a Fleurance Class D. Tends to show more on turf though and best to keep one’s powder dry
  28. MONA LISA ELLIS – Put a pair of eliminations behind her when 3rd in a Class E at Castera-Verduzan a fortnight back. A repeat, however, seems unlikely
  29. MIDEN DE FONTAINE – Could well have won a second straight had he not lost his action early in an Argentan Class E a week ago, and Cedric Terry can put things right as long as he gets his gelding off on the right foot
  30. MONEY AIMEF – Is not short of ability but is as complicated as they come. Held her own in a Cagnes Class D 10 days ago and, in similar form, can confirm
  31. MELODIE DU LILAS – Made it 2 wins in 3 starts lastly a Class E at Castera-Verduzan over 2,800m on 10 August. Has thrived with Thomas Ducos and is not incapable of adding another victory to her tally
  32. MANHATTAN GABINLEA – Unplaced in a Class E at Castera-Verduzan over 2,800m on 10 August after having encouraged at Biarritz, and is not an obvious choice
  33. MINIE CAUSSANEL – Makes first appearance since running 4th in a Class D at Toulouse over 2,325m on 17 April. Is clearly in race-mode but has little love for the venue and looks no more than a minor place chance

  38. MOSPEL DU VERGER – Finished 4th in a Class B at Grenade-Sur-Garonne over 2,700m on 15 August. Has been hard to fault over recent weeks, enjoys a good entry here, and looks competitive for a place in the picture
    Summary: A tricky, evenly-matched race to assess, but Franck Terry looks to hold a strong hand with a freshly re-shod MIDEN DE FONTAINE (4), who impressed last time despite being disqualified, and MELODIE DU LILAS (6), who has improved markedly this summer. MOSPEL DU VERGER (13) benefits from a terrific entry and is among the contenders for a podium finish, alongside MELISSA JOSSELYN (11), whose recent finish did not go unnoticed.

  44. LOUSTIC VAUCEEN – Third in a Class E at Eauze over 3,025m on 2 August after having won 3 in a row. Has earned the right to race in this category and has a reasonable chance of making first five
  45. LITTLE CROWN – Dominated a Class E at Hyeres over 2,650m on 12 August 2026. Trainer back in the bike and looks to have a decent chance of repeating
  46. LEMON CURD – Third in a Class E at Chatelaillon over 2,625m on 29 July after having been disqualified at Eauze. Is hard to knock when focused and should not be underestimated
  47. LOCKWOOD EFJI – Fourth in a Class E at Villereal over 2,450m on 14 August, continuing a respectable run of form, but is out of his depth this time
  48. LADIVA DE VILLABON – Won a Castera-Verduzan Class E in late-June but was unable to confirm a fortnight ago when disqualified at Villereal, and others easier to support

    Summary: LITTLE CROWN (7) made a stylish winning return at Hyeres and her connections make the trip with genuine ambitions. She faces a tougher task, however, against LAMIE QUICK (1), who quickened well to win impressively a fortnight ago. Back in form, LOLITA TURGOT (5) can also play a leading role, alongside LEMON CURD (8), who gave a reassuringly-good account late last month.

  53. KIDA DE LA BESSE – Has done nothing but improve lately, most recently third in a Class F at Chatelaillon over 2,500m on 3 August. Has pulled a good number and Louis Lalande will be keen to take advantage of the good opportunity
  54. KENTUCKY PIYA – Produced a pair of solid performances at Cabourg before losing his action at Cherbourg. Benefits from a good spot behind the car, has been freshly reconfigured, and looks a serious proposition.
  55. KITALPHAR – Finished 4th in a Class F Apprentices’ race at Biarritz over 2,975m on 30 July. Has been consistently in the thick of things since the spring and is in with a realistic shout of making the frame once more
  56. KENNY PEARL – Continued her good form when second in a Fleurance Class F a week ago. Sports a fresh configuration for his debut at the venue and should have the wherewithal to play a part
  57. KEEP TIME – Unplaced in a Class F at Gabarret over 2,550m on 27 July. Has been heavily-campaigned this year and is quite clearly out of sorts
  58. KING PRESTIGE – Not the easiest of horses to use but imposed smartly in a Gemozac Class H last weekend and, on good behaviour, can confirm
  59. KILLER ZOFE – Is never far from losing his action but is a hardy sort. The back-row start may work to his advantage and has already won for Alexandre Bodin
    Summary: KING PRESTIGE (9) recently got back in the game on turf at Gémozac. He has the capacity to compete at this level but Cedric Terry will need to keep him focused. KENTUCKY PIYA (5) has not been seen out since his re-entry run at Cherbourg in mid-June but sports a new formula and the draw will only help his cause. KITALPHAR (6), sporting 4 pads for the first time, should once again run his race. It could be all-or-nothing once more for the flighty KILLER ZOFE (10).

  73. IKY JOY – Runner-up in a Class B at Villereal over 3,325m on 8 August 2026. Is nicely-engaged here and Fabrice Rodes will be eager to make hay
  74. JUDY MATIDY – Has started to come good again, most recently 3rd in an Amiens Class D 3.5 weeks ago. Is not a priority but is nicely-entered here and will have her supporters
    Summary: KANSAS DE CASTELLE (10) benefits from a terrific entry on the front line and, back racing right-handed, will be seeking to make amends for his recent disappointment at Hyères. JUNON DU VASSET (9) gave a very good account that day and looks a serious proposition.
