R1 REIMS [R-H]
C1 – GRAND NATIONAL DU TROT – 2550m (a1m1/2) – – Harness – EUR € 90,000
- KOTKIE – Finished 4th in a Class A at Cagnes-sur-Mer over 2,925m on 22 August. Is confirmed at this level but others still preferred
- KOUREAS D’ELA – Made it four on the trot when victorious in a Class D at Laval over 2,850m on 24 September. Is one of the toughest, most versatile horses here, and is easy to like for the win
- IF I TELL YOU – Finished 3rd in a Class C at Le Croise-Laroche over 2,700m on 30 September, but is out of his depth this time
- LORD DELO – Pulled-up in GNT Gr.3 at Argentan on 23 September. Is still in conditioning-mode and best to hold off
- JENTIL DIESCHOOT – Reassuring third in a Group III at Argentan over 2,875m on 23 September. Has form in the GNT and with Eric Raffin reining, is unlikely to be far off the mark
- KELLE BEAUTE – Finished 3rd in a Class B at Vincennes over 2,700m on 2 October. Seldom disappoints with her driver and will justifiably generate interest
- HECTOR DE BASSIERE – Finished 3rd, at 48-1, in a Group III at Craon over 2,775m on 7 September. Is clearly better on turf and is unlikely to create an upset
- HEUREUX DE FLEUR – Unplaced in a Class C at Vincennes over 2,700m on 17 September, a month after imposing at Laval. Gave a fine account in the Saint-Malo leg and from the front row can pick up a cheque
- JACOMO BELLO – Finished 5th in a Class C at Vincennes over 2,700m on 5 September. Has not raced right-handed since October 2024 but is ideally-engaged here and ought to be taken seriously
- KATCHI QUICK – Won 4 of 5 prior to finishing 8th in a Class C at Les Sables D’Olonne over 2,000m on 28 August. Can be brought back into the fold though and can make the frame this time
- JANGO VICI – Ran 7th in a Group III at Feurs over 2,850m on 16 September, 3.5 weeks after running 3rd in a Class A on turf. Is less competitively-shod this time and cannot be considered a player
- INDUS VAL – Was by no means disgraced on re-entry when unplaced in a Group III at Argentan over 2,875m on 23 September. Will have progressed for the run but the handicap will do him no favours
- IALTO D’HERTALS – Ran 6th in a Group III at Argentan over 2,875m on 23 September. Is better than the result would suggest but is his trainer’s 3rd string here and looks a minor place prospect at best
- HORATIUS D’ELA – Finished 13th in a Group III at Laval over 2,850m on 30 September. Is fitted with pads this time and can be passed over
- JUST DE L’OISON – Won a Gr.3 on turf before repeating in the GNT Group III at Argentan over 2,875m on 23 September. Has taken his game to another level this year and looks capable of toppling KOUREAS D’ELA (2)
- JINGLE DU PONT – Second in Group I Grand Prix de Wallonie Belgique at Mons over 2,840m on 19 September. Is only here for a change of scenery and is not a concern
Summary: Increasingly impressive, KOUREAS D’ELA (2) looks to be on the verge of a big winter campaign. She has beaten some good horses recently and can make the running, a tactic that often pays dividends at Reims. Proven right-handed, she is capable of ending the winning streak of JUST DE L’OISON (15) who comes here on a five-timer. KATCHI QUICK (10) benefits from an excellent entry and can start to put things right. JENTIL DIESCHOOT (5), showing improvement and effective on this type of track, and JACOMO BELLO (9), who caught the eye on his comeback, look competitive for the minor honours.

C2 – GRAND NATIONAL DES AMATEURS PRIX DE L’UNAT – 2550m (a1m1/2) – – Harness – EUR € 8,000 - KILLY D’AVENIR – Quality element returning to the harness code after running 3rd in a monte Class G at Cholet 2.5 weeks ago. Imposed at Graignes on amateur debut and is very hard to ignore from the front row
- KOKA RIGHT – Made it 2 for 3 when successful in a Class H Amateurs’ race at Evreux over 2,725m on 27 September. Takes a step up in category but starts in front and even though sporting pads can play a part
- ITON DES LANDES – Ran 6th in a Class G Amateurs’ race at Le Touquet over 2,600m on 20 September. Has previously imposed at this level but is not the most generous and others easier to back
- KALINE D’ERPION – Unplaced in a Class G Amateurs’ race at Le Touquet over 2,600m on 20 September. Has yet to make her mark in this category and is unlikely to this time either
- JACK SPARROW GEPE – Unplaced in a Class F at Cholet over 2,800m on 27 September. Out of the picture in last 5 starts and can be confidently disregarded
- KIMMAJO – Finished 12th in a Class E at Vincennes over 2,700m on 2 October. Has otherwise been in flying form, has nothing to prove at this level, and even from the second line can play a leading role
- INKERMAN DE PLAY – Finished 8th in a Class F Amateurs’ race at Vincennes over 2,850m on 6 October. Finds himself in more suitable company this time and looks a respectable first-five prospect
- GIORGIO DU VIVIER – Returns to France, and the amateur category, after winning over 2840m in Mons 3.5 weeks ago. Takes on some better horses on this occasion but should nevertheless hold his own
- HAOUSSA DE VENNES – Disqualified from 3rd in an amateur Class G over course and distance a month back. Is in shape though and can get in on the action if Jean-Maxime Lesne keeps him trotting
- JUSTESS VIKING – Fifth in a Class E at Laon over 2,850m on 11 October. Has hardly put a foot out of line in either code recently and must be taken seriously
- KASH DE TILLARD – Reassuring second in a Class H at Blain over 3,200m on 20 September. Starts for just the second time in the category and looks a more serious proposition than he did at Angers last month. Claim
Summary: In decent shape and nicely-entered here, KASH DE TILLARD (11) makes just his second start in the amateur division but can nevertheless open his autumn account. Aurore Renaudin-Lelarge will still need to watch out for Nicolas Delamarre’s two runners, KIMMAJO (6), consistent for the most part and reconfigured for the occasion, and KILLY D’AVENIR (1), who was most impressive on his amateur debut in June. JUSTESS VIKING (10) races shod but she is plainly in shape and last month’s amateur run bodes well for her chances.

C3 – PRIX OSCAR COLLARD – 2550m (a1m1/2) – – Harness – EUR € 30,000 - NARCOS SANTIGNY – Disqualified in all four start to date and can expect to have few, if any, takers

- NOTRE SAXO D’AURE – Finished 5th in a Class D at Enghien over 2,875m on 28 September, his first start since May, and will still be race-rusty
- NOURKIS – Disqualified on re-entry in a Class B at Le Croise-Laroche over 2,800m on 30 September. Is not without merit but first needs to reaffirm
- NANS DE FLEUR – Returned to winning ways on re-entry, securing a Class D over course and distance on 13 September. Is unbeaten in 2 starts here, but may have to settle for minor honours this time
- NORD CALITY – Finished 5th, on comeback, in a Class B at Le Croise-Laroche over 2,800m on 30 September. Runner-up in 2 of 3 starts here and is unlikely to be far from the action
- NIRVAGO DE LA COUR – Fourth in a Class C at Vincennes over 2,850m on 31 August. Returns to racing with four pads fitted but nevertheless faces a stiff test
- NINA HAGEN D’OR – Fifth in a Class B at Argentan over 2,875m on 23 September. Should take well to Reims conditions and will be no pushover if Eric Raffin manages to keep her mind on the game
- NACOMA RUN – Won a Class B at Argentan over 2,875m on 23 September, her best performance to date, and with form maintained can give this a good go from the front row
- NO LIMIT DELO – Disqualified in last two, the latest a Class B at Rambouillet over 2,800m on 20 September. Has been freshly re-shod but is still not a priority
- NELSON THORIS – Disqualified in a Class B at Argentan over 2,875m on 23 September. Is no slouch when focused but has little going for him here and others preferred

- NONONINO – Second in a Class B at Argentan over 2,875m on 23 September. Is clearly close to his race and unlikely to disappoint
- NET MONEY – Finished 11th in Group I Criterium des 3 Ans at Vincennes over 2,700m on 12 September. Takes a notable drop in class and looks capable of contesting the finish this time
- NYASSA DAXEL – Unplaced in Group I Criterium des 3 Ans at Vincennes over 2,700m on 12 September. Has nothing to prove at this level and even from the back row can impose
- NOELA JOSSELYN – Disqualified in Group I Criterium des 3 Ans at Vincennes over 2,700m on 12 September. Returns to racing shod and will have other priorities
Summary: Neither NYASSA DAXEL (15) nor NET MONEY (14) made any impact in the Gr.1 Critérium des 3 Ans but now have a significantly better opportunity to make their mark, even though the former will be racing shod. NACOMA RUN (9), an impressive winner at Argentan from the rejuvenated NONONINO (13), and NORD CALITY (6), who will have come on for his return run, are their closest contenders.

C4 – PRIX DU CHAMPAGNE CASTELNAU – 2500m (a1m1/2) – – Harness – EUR € 23,000 - JUSTAUCORPS – Finished 7th in a Class E Apprentices’ race at Villedieu Les Poeles over 2,825m on 13 September, having run 3rd at Les Sables-d’Olonne 3 weeks earlier, and is worth keeping an eye on
- KRACOTTE VERGNIER – Lost her action early in a Class E at Enghien over 2,150m on 8 October but nevertheless showed her form. Has 3 runs under her belt and from the 2 slot is thoroughly capable of imposing
- ISMIR DE L’ORMERIE – Starts for the first time since being disqualified in a Brehal Class E on 27 July. Would be preferred barefoot but is well-placed behind the car and cannot be discounted
- KARTER LEWIS – Fifth in a Class F at Le Touquet over 2,600m on 20 September, making up for Vincennes blip. Has been allocated an excellent draw and Paul Verva will be keen to make hay
- JOURNAIO DU ROI – Finished 8th in a Class F Apprentices’ race at Amiens over 2,400m on 3 October. Has done nothing of note since winning on turf in June and is unlikely to create an upset
- JOYAU DARLING – Ran reassuring second in a Class E at Le Croise-laroche on 28 September. Is seldom seen in the winners’ enclosure but a similar performance could be just the ticket
- JOLIE CADENCE – Victorious in a Class F at Amiens over 2,900m on 5 September. Has never excelled at Reims but has not put a foot wrong lately and must be taken seriously
- KREIZ DE PRAT GUEN – Failed to secure the hat-trick when unplaced in a Class F at Le Touquet over 2,600m on 20 September. Will be shod as he was when 2nd at Divonne in August and will generate interest
- JESSY D’ARCY – Unplaced in a Class C at Vichy over 2,950m on 12 September and looks set to continue her modest ways
- KISS ME DUTOLLEM – Ran 7th in a Class E at Le Croise-Laroche over 2,825m on 28 September. Is no champion but regularly gives her best and will have her supporters
- KELSAM DU RUISSEAU – Victorious in a Class E at Cavaillon over 2,525m on 18 September. Is plainly at the top of his game and could well repeat if his driver successfully negotiates the start
- IVY METAL – Disqualified in last three starts, the latest a Class F at Vire over 2,800m on 31 August, and is unlikely to trouble the judge
- IROKO DU NORD – Fifth in a Class F Apprentices’ race at Amiens over 2,400m on 3 October. Takes on a considerably tougher lot this time and is not about to spice things up
- IDEAL D’AUCHY – Second in a Class F Apprentices’ race at Arras over 2,900m on 4 October. Has no particular liking for Reims though and can be passed over
Summary: KRACOTTE VERGNIER (2), who should be fully-fit by now, and JOYAU DARLING (6), who looks to be close to her race, are preferred to KELSAM DU RUISSEAU (11), who has done nothing but improve, and recent Amiens winner JOLIE CADENCE (7) who has pulled a tough number.

C5 – PRIX GILBERT CORNET – 2500m (a1m1/2) – – Harness – EUR € 27,000 - LUCKY BOY VERTRAC – Finished 5th, on comeback, at Mons over 2,300m on 29 September. Will have improved for the run and, entrusted to Eric Raffin for the first time, could well win this
- LEAD ME ON – Disqualified in a Class D at Enghien over 2,875m on 5 October. Lost his way after scoring a double in July and has shown no sign of an imminent return to form
- LITTLE DRAGON – Successful in a Class E at Le Croise-Laroche over 2,700m on 30 September, just his second harness victory. Has yet to win at Reims but from the 3 slot can play a leading role
- LA BOISBONNIERE – Disqualified in last two starts, the latest a Class E at La Capelle over 2,750m on 8 October. Is hard to knock when focused though and will not be friendless

- LEGENDE DE NILREM – Finished 3rd in a Class B at Le Croise-Laroche over 2,800m on 28 September. Has a lot going for her here and drops in category with every chance of winning her first of the year
- LOU PRESTANCE – Unplaced, when preparing for this, in a Class B at Le Croise-Laroche over 2,800m on 28 September. Has been fitted with 4 pads this time and despite the draw must be respected
- LOOK D’ALB – Won a Class F Apprentices’ race at Nimes over 2,775m on 26 September. Is less fond of a hard surface though and is unlikely to shake things up
- LITTLE ROAD – Finished 6th in a Class E at Cabourg over 2,750m on 11 August. Is quite clearly better than that and, if sufficiently-fit, is unlikely to return home empty-handed
Summary: LEGENDE DE NILREM (6), whose trainer could not have wished for a better entry, and LUCKY BOY VERTRAC (1), shod to preference and entrusted to Eric Raffin, look the main protagonists, but they can nonetheless expect resistance from recent winner LITTLE DRAGON (3), and LOU PRESTANCE (7), sporting four pads for the first time.

C6 – GRAND NATIONAL DES JOCKEYS – 2550m (a1m1/2) – – Mounted – EUR € 30,000 - KROSKOF DE GUEZ – Made up for a pair of eliminations when dominating a Class G at Cholet over 2,800m on 27 September and, with application, can double up
- HOLLYWOOD TRICK – Debuts in France, and in the discipline, after running 4th under harness over 2140m, on comeback, at Jagersro three weeks ago. Will be partnered by Pierre-Yves Verva for the occasion but others still preferred
- VILLENEUF – Comes to France after scoring two in a row under harness in Hamburg. Was disqualified in both previous monte starts but will be partnered by Eric Raffin for his 100th career start and would it not be a fairytale pilgrimage were they to win this
- JOIE DE VIVRE – Fifth in a Class G at Cholet over 2,800m on 27 September. Has been reconfigured for the occasion but is still not a concern
- KASTELBRAC – Has won two of last three, most recently an Abbeville Class H 2.5 weeks ago. Takes on a superior lot here and, furthermore, would have better prospects on turf
- BOTTNAS JUSTIN – Confirmed Hyeres performance when runner-up in a Class E at Angouleme over 2,750m on 4 October. Starts in front and should be good enough to pick up minor honours
- JAGUAR PIYA – Unplaced in a Class E at Cabourg over 2,750m on 16 September. Has had the benefit of 3 runs, is in race-mode this time, and is unlikely to be far off the mark
- JUPITER PLANCHETTE – Oddly out of sorts when 10th in a Class E Apprentices’ race at Cabourg over 2,750m on 3 October. Has been entrusted to Benjamin Rochard this time and will be no soft touch
- JAZERANE – Finished 4th, when preparing for this, in a harness Class E at Cabourg over 2,750m on 3 October. Has shown serious aptitude for the discipline and even from the second row should logically take all the beating
Summary: Undefeated in two starts under the saddle, JAZERANE (9) will be entrusted to Paul Ploquin this time and can continue her perfect run. KROSKOF DE GUEZ (1) should be able to give her a run for her money though if Alexandre Abrivard keeps him trotting. JUPITER PLANCHETTE (8) is not the easiest to use either but on good behaviour can finish close. JAGUAR PIYA (7) is barefoot following a much-needed freshener and looks competitive for a place on the podium.

- MIRABILIS VRIE – Finished 8th in a Class D at Vincennes over 2,700m on 15 September. Can be brought back into the fold though and should prove competitive when push comes to shove. Chance

- MANGUE – Starts for the first time since finishing runner-up in a Class E at Enghien over 2,875m on 25 June and poses no danger
- MAGNUS DE FLEUR – Disqualified in a Class E at Le Mont St Michel over 2,675m on 30 June. Has not been seen since but is clearly in race-mode and can make his Reims debut a triumphant one
- MERGINIO – Fifth in a Class B over course and distance on 13 September, 2.5 weeks after having imposed at Strasbourg. Is not about to set off any fireworks but can still pick up a cheque
- MAFIA RINGEAT – Surprise third in a Class E at Enghien over 2,875m on 28 September. Confirmation, however, seems most unlikely
- MEDELLIN ELLIS – Unluckily unplaced on comeback in a Class D at Vincennes over 2,700m on 15 September, having gone into his layup on a high note. Is unlikely to get his head ion front but, with more luck in running, can make first five
- MILKSHAKE – Fourth in a Class E at Le Mont St Michel over 2,675m on 30 June. Is no slouch on a good day but has not raced since and with shoes fitted will have nothing to offer
- MONSIEUR WILLIAM – Finished 7th in a Class D at Vincennes over 2,700m on 15 September. Has otherwise been excelling since early-summer and in the hands of Benjamin Rochard will be no soft touch
- MILORD DU LORAULT – Unplaced in a Class D at Vincennes over 2,700m on 15 September, a month after having won a Cabourg Class E. Came 4th on sole Reims run and has the wherewithal to finish close in a race of this nature
Summary: Although unraced since June, MAGNUS DE FLEUR (6) goes barefoot with Yoann Lebourgeois reining and can get straight down to business. He will be opposed though by MIRABILIS VRIE (3), whose latest effort was better than it looks, MILORD DU LORAULT (12), confirmed here and nicely-engaged, and MONSIEUR WILLIAM (11), entrusted to Benjamin Rochard.

- KANSAS QUESNOT – Oddly lacklustre 10th in a Class D at Enghien over 2,875m on 7 October. Has otherwise been in excellent form and can finish close
- IMAKER – Finished 4th at La Capelle over 2,750m on 21 September. Seldom disappoints when focused, is confirmed here and, although not a priority, is still worth monitoring
- JOUEUSE DU MIREL – Surprise winner of a Class E at Amiens over 2,900m on 3 October. Takes on a better bunch here, though, and is unlikely to confirm
- KANCALAIS – Reassuring runner-up in a Class F at Cholet over 2,800m on 27 September, following a below-par effort at Bernay the previous month, and will be no easy touch if he takes to the new profile
- KISS ME SIMON – Finished 5th in a monte Class E at Enghien over 2,250m on 13 August. Comes here fresh, patently in race-mode, and has a reasonable chance of making first five
- HORACIO DE CERISY – Finished 12th in a Class C at Vincennes over 2,850m on 9 October. Has done little of note for some time and can be confidently passed over
- INSIDE MAN – Finished 5th in a Class E Apprentices’ race at Amiens over 2,400m on 19 September. A repeat, however, seems most improbable
- IRIS DU LIVIER – Finished 6th in a Class E at Vincennes over 2,700m on 4 September. Will appreciate the less-exalted opposition and has a reasonable chance of picking up minor honours
- JEUNE AMI – Placed in two before being disqualified in an Abbeville Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Is reunited with Jean-François Senet though and should not be ruled out
- JOURUNTOME – Second in a Class E at Cagnes-sur-Mer over 2,150m on 19 August. Is new to racing clockwise, but is plainly in rude health, and with application can contest a place in the picture

- JOKER D’OCCAGNES – Ran 6th in a Class E Apprentices’ race at Amiens over 2,400m on 19 September. Enjoys a superb entry but chances still appear limited
Summary: KAPITANO DE LOU (2), in terrific form and reunited with Paul Ploquin with whom he won at Les Sables-d’Olonne early last month, KANCALAIS (6), who has been knocking at the door, KANSAS QUESNOT (3), re-shod following his Enghien prep, and JOURUNTOME (12), provided he behaves, are all capable of fighting out the finish.

EXTRAGALACTIC (9) has won on the flat and can be expected to be well schooled for this hurdles bow. AGUILERA (14) is from a stable that does well with newcomers and she is worth a market check.

Summary: Representing the Duvaldestin team, NOTIDA (13), already a winner in harness racing, will attract plenty of attention on her debut under the saddle. NUSTINE (15), another newcomer to the mounted discipline, is also worth watching, as is the progressive NOISETTE D’ATOUT (11). NO TIME TO JYL (12) finished third here in her first attempt under the saddle, also deserves consideration in a tricky lucky last race.
SELECTIONS – NOTIDA (13) – NUSTINE (15) – NO TIME TO JYL (12) – NOISETTE D’ATOUT (11)
