- MATISSE DU PONT – Disqualified on re-entry in a Class D at Enghien over 2,150m on 15 October. Is preparing for a campaign under the saddle and can be passed over
- MOUSKIE DE GUEZ – Unplaced in a Class D over 2,850m here on 27 September. Runs here for reasons of conditioning and poses no danger
- LILIUS DE GUEZ – Has not been seen out since being disqualified in a Class C over 2,850m here on 19 February, and is going to need the race
- L’AMOUR – Successful in a Class E over 2,100m here on 11 September, just under 3 weeks after imposing under these conditions, but stays shod and best to keep one’s powder dry
- MAGICO DE LOU – Finished 5th in a Class B at Rambouillet over 2,800m on 20 September. Gives his best for the most part but is taking on too much here
- LYRIKO BELLO – Finished 10th in a Class B over course and distance on 27 September. Is not the biggest fan of Vincennes and is unlikely to shake things up
- LOUVE DE REVE D’OR – Took little time getting back in the game, most recently second in a 2950m Toulouse Class B on 11 October. Is confirmed under these conditions and can give this a good go
- LOUIS VITTON MIJO – Unplaced in Group I Criterium des 5 Ans at Vincennes over 2,850m on 12 September. Was by no means disgraced that day and, already a Gr.3 winner during the summer, should be competitive when push comes to shove
- LAROZE DU GERS – Brilliant winner of a Class B over course and distance on 27 September. Is a tough campaigner that has won 3 times under these conditions and at this level looks the horse to beat
- LILAS CASTELLE – Ran 6th in a Class B at Rambouillet over 2,800m on 20 September. Will be fully-fit by now and Mathieu Mottier gets the nod this time. Attention
- MAGNUM DU CHOQUEL – Third in a Class A over 2,100m here on 25 September. Has not excelled at Group level for some time but is clearly in shape and can legitimately expect to pick up minor honours
- MONZON NORMAND – Runner-up in a Class A over 2,100m here on 25 September. Is significantly better than previous figures would suggest and cannot be discounted
- LALUNA DES FORGES – Runner-up to LAROZE DU GERS (9) in a Class B over course and distance on 27 September. Has not put a foot wrong lately and connections will be hoping she can exact revenge
- LITTLE BROWN – Disqualified in three of last four starts, the latest a Group III at Argentan over 2,875m on 23 September. Is not devoid of ability but others still easier to trust
Summary: In sparkling form at present, LAROZE DU GERS (9) looks capable of confirming last month’s victory, however Paul Ploquin will have different plans for LALUNA DES FORGES (13) who ran second to her that day. Eighth in the Gr.1 Critérium des 5 Ans, LOUIS VITTON MIJO (8) drops down the category-ladder and, with application, should prove considerably more competitive. LILAS CASTELLE (10) is on the way back up and can contest a place in the frame.

C2 – PRIX JUNO – 2100m (a1m1/4) – – Harness – EUR € 59,000 - IDEFIX JIHEM – Ran 7th in a Class D over 2,850m here on 27 September. Gave a good account last time under these conditions but looks a minor place chance at best on this occasion
- JOG JELOCA – Finished last of 13 in a Class D at Vincennes over 2,700m on 2 October. Has otherwise been in excellent shape and even though stepping up in category, could still pleasantly surprise
- JAZZ D’OURVILLE – Should not be too hastily-condemned for finishing 7th in 2 October race of reference. Won over course and distance in September and from the 3 slot should be eminently capable of confirming
- JOKER D’OLAINE – Had been on a fine run of form until being disqualified in a Laval Class D 3 weeks ago. Can be brought back into the fold and should be taken seriously
- JOB DES LOUANGES – Fifth in a Class D over 2,700m here on 2 October. Has gone close on numerous occasions since the winter and looks the pick of the field this time
- JACKSON D’ARC – Finished 6th in a Class D at Vincennes over 2,700m on 2 October. Has been acquitting himself well over recent months and is unlikely to let the side down
- INSTINCTIF – Unplaced in a Class E at Chartres over 2,825m on 15 October. Has been completely off the boil this year and has no realistic chance
- HEROS DHELPA – Has looked very ordinary since running second in a Class D at Enghien in July and will have nothing to offer
- HAPPY ATOUT – Fourth in an Apprentices’ race at Enghien over 2,875m on 12 October. Takes on a tougher task this time and will have few friends
- JOYEUSE ENTREE – Finished 8th in a Class D at Caen over 2,450m on 10 October. Has been out of sorts for some time and is not about to spice things up
- HISTORY MAJYC – Finished 13th in a Class C over 2,850m here on 9 October. Is some way off her best form and is unlikely to upset the status quo
- JILANZA DU MOULIN – Runner-up in a monte Class E at Enghien over 2,875m on 12 October and will have other priorities
- JOHORE – Finished 8th in a Class D over 2,700m here on 2 October. Was not disgraced that day and should not be far off the mark if Mathieu Mottier positions him early
- JAZZMAN – Made it 2 for 3 when victorious in a Class F at Durtal over 2,825m on 11 October. Is unlikely to confirm but is an honest individual and will generate interest
- HISCO DE PARNIERE – Runner-up in a Class F at Bihorel Les Rouen over 2,500m on 11 October. Is out of his depth under these conditions and can be passed over
Summary: Several runners from the Quinté+ of October 2 re-oppose over a shorter trip this time. JOB DES LOUANGES (5) caught the eye that day when shod and will now race barefoot. JAZZ D’OURVILLE (3) will appreciate the drop to 2100m, while JOKER D’OLAINE (4), who blundered at Laval, deserves another chance. JOHORE (13) ran creditably in the race of reference.

C3 – PRIX ZOSMA – 2100m (a1m1/4) – – Harness – EUR € 53,000 - LILI DRY – Disqualified in a Class B at Le Croise-Laroche over 2,825m on 14 September. Has done little of note for some time and is unlikely to start now
- L’AMOUR SUPREME – Starts for the first time since winning a Class C over 2,700m here on 24 April and is going to need the run
- FLASH NP – Serious Italian type making Vincennes debut with Franck Nivard at the helm. Could not have asked for a better draw and must be duly respected
- LINNA DE VANDEL – Has not been seen out since winning a Class D at Cabourg over 2,750m on 28 August, but is clearly in race-mode and from the 4 slot can give this a good go
- FORCE OF NATURE – Goes barefoot after prepping for this over 3240m in Hamburg 3 weeks ago. Has already won for David Thomain and the draw will do their prospects no disservice
- LE RETOUR VRIE – Finished 6th in a Class B over course and distance on 17 September, his first start since June. Is shod to preference this time but others still preferred
- LIMO DE MER – Third in a Class B over 2,700m here on 13 October, a month after having imposed at Le Croise-Laroche. Has good speed and and can challenge for a place in the picture
- LAURELINA – Failed to make any impact in an Argentan Class B a month ago. Is barefoot this time but is still taking on too much
- OROSEI BOKO – Would have finished closer than 3rd at Solvalla 2 weeks ago had he been afforded a better trip. Starts wide on front line but otherwise has a lot going for him and can make his French bow a successful one
- SAHARA FIREBIRD – Was unable to secure the hat-trick when 4th in a valuable mares race at Hamburg 3 weeks ago but is an honest mare with form here and should not be written off
- SECRET OF LAW – Respectable 5th in a Class B at Enghien on 29 September but faces a tougher task this time and best to wait
- FREISA ROC – Runner-up in a Class D over 2,850m here on 27 September. Takes on a superior lot this time though and chances appear limited
- FEDORA KEY COL – Made it 2 in a row when dominating a Class D at Enghien over 2,875m on 7 October. Is not ideally-positioned but is unbeaten in 2 with her driver who will be keen to secure the three-timer
- FAHARAJAH ONE – Should not be too hastily-judged for failing to deliver in a mile race in Bologna a month ago. Is confirmed in the day’s configuration and will have her supporters
- LEA D’ATOUT – Unplaced in a Class C over 2,850m here on 9 October. Is still being conditioned and best to keep one’s powder dry
- OLYMPUS DRAGON – Takes a notable step up in category after winning over 2100m at Victoria Park last weekend, and the draw does him no favours
- READY HILL – Finished 2nd in a Class D over 2,850m here on 27 September. Is a model of consistency, recently ran 3rd in a Gr.3 in Germany, and in spite of a tough draw is worth keeping an eye on
- LOUISA D’ATOUT – Disqualified in last two starts, the latest a Class B at Enghien over 2,875m on 27 April. Is shod for comeback and can be ignored
Summary: OROSEI BOKO (9) produced a fine performance at Solvalla a fortnight ago and makes his Vincennes debut reconfigured and with Eric Raffin in the bike. FEDORA KEY COL (13) continues to demonstrate her class and despite the draw still represents a major player. FORCE OF NATURE (5) needs to reassure but he presents decent French form and on good behaviour can finish close. From the front line, a competitively-shod FLASH NP (3), and an in-form LIMO DE MER (7) merit their places on the shortlist.

C4 – PRIX ORIONIS – 2850m (a2m) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 59,000 - JARDYLAND – Finished 2nd in an Apprentices’ race at Segre over 2,700m on 4 October. Is capable on a good day but in this company will have his work cut out
- GITANO JACK – Runner-up, at 381-1, in a Class D at Cordemais over 2,650m on 4 October, and a repeat seems most unlikely
- IROISE DE MADKER – Unplaced on comeback in a Cordemais Class D on 4 October. Is competitively-shod for first target of the autumn but may just be aimed to high this time
- GENERAL DE CONNEE – Unplaced in a Class E at Alencon over 2,650m on 4 October after having run 3rd in a Class D under these conditions a month back. Against younger horses though, will have too much to do
- IN RACE LORRAINE – Unplaced in a Class E at Rambouillet over 2,800m on 11 October, her first start since June. Is barefoot this time but still not an obvious choice
- JOKER GEMA – Has not been seen out since being trounced in a Class A on turf 2 months ago. Is never far from springing a surprise and, while not a priority, cannot be discounted
- IENISSE DE BARBRAY – Ran 7th in a Class D at Cordemais over 2,650m on 4 October, the product of a bad draw. Mathieu Mottier has kept the faith and can expect to finish closer
- HALFAN SPEED – Victorious in a Class D over course and distance on 25 September. Has 7yo and 8yo horses to contend with this time but should nevertheless hold his own
- JEWEL DE LA COTE – Unplaced in a Class D at Caen over 2,450m on 10 October. Will appreciate returning to racing left-handed but has no love for Vincennes and others easier to back
- JADOU DU LUPIN – Ran 6th in a Class E at Angouleme over 2,750m on 4 October. Has otherwise been in good shape, will be barefoot this time, and is unlikely to be far from the action
- JAZZ DE PADD – Finished 3rd in a Class D at Enghien over 2,150m on 28 September, 2.5 weeks after running 3rd in a Class D under these conditions, and in the hands of Alexandre Abrivard looks a serious proposition
- IN LOVE REGLISSE – Fifth in a Class D at Enghien over 2,150m on 28 September. Goes barefoot as he was when victorious in Toulouse 10 days earlier, and should not be ruled out
- JIBI DU FRUITIER – Finished 7th in a Class D at Enghien over 2,150m on 28 September. Can be considered unlucky that day, has considerably more ability and, given a chance, can finish in the mix
- IOUPY TOLLEVILLE – Finished 6th in a Class D at Enghien over 2,150m on 28 September. Is clearly back on the right path but still needs to find more
- JUST DU CHATELET – Finished 4th in a Class D over 2,700m here on 18 September. Won 2 here during the spring, excels with Damien Bonne, and can make this his own
- HINDEN – Finished 7th at Graignes over 2,725m on 12 October. Has done nothing noteworthy for some time and can be confidently disregarded
- IVOIRE DAIRPET – Disqualified at Graignes over 2,725m on 12 October. Benefits from a superb entry, is clearly in shape, and will be dangerous if Cedric Terry keeps him focused
- JEZABELLE BIE – Finished 12th, on comeback, in a Class B over 2,700m here on 27 September. Is still in conditioning-mode and can be ruled out
Summary: A tough campaigner, JUST DU CHATELET (15) is back on the right road following his summer layup. He will not have to contend with foreign horses this time and can return to winning ways. Fellow seven year-olds JAZZ DE PADD (11), in great shape, and JADOU DU LUPIN (10), barefoot for the occasion, head the opposition. Nicely-engaged and shod as he was when victorious at Laval in the spring, IVOIRE DAIRPET (17) looks competitive. He deserves serious consideration, as does JIBI DU FRUITIER (13), who has not enjoyed the best of fortune lately.

C5 – PRIX VICTOR REGIS – 2175m (a1m1/4) – Gr2 – Harness – EUR € 120,000 - NEWTON DES FORGES – Disqualified in a Class B at Lyon-Parilly over 2,825m on 13 October. Won a 2700m Class A here the previous month and Paul Ploquin will be determined to put things right
- NON STOP DE FOOT – Finished 3rd in a Group III at Vincennes over 2,700m on 27 September, but the step up in category may just be a step too far
- NOBEL SPEED – Won at Enghien and Vincennes in August prior to being disqualified in Group I Saint-Leger des Trotteurs at Caen over 2,450m on 10 October. At this level though, is taking on too much
- NOT THIS TIME – Finished 5th in a Group II at Enghien over 2,150m on 14 August, having run 2nd in a Gr.3 there the previous month, and will not be far off the mark if he stays trotting
- NOVECENTO – Surprise second in a Group III over 2700m here on 27 September. Is unlikely to repeat but still represents a respectable first-five chance
- NELSON EMGE – Returns to the harness discipline after being disqualified in Group I Saint-Leger des Trotteurs at Caen over 2,450m on 10 October. Has previously placed in a Gr.2 under these conditions but is not a priority this time
- NOBEL DU RIB – Comfortable winner of a Group III over 2,700m here on 27 September. Still has buckets of progress in him and is in with a realistic shout of wrapping this up
- NUEVO CASH – Victorious in Group I Saint-Leger des Trotteurs under the saddle at Caen over 2,450m on 10 October. Is seldom far from losing his action but has buckets of talent and, on good behaviour, can play a leading role
- NAT KING COLE – Somewhat lacklustre 6th in Group I Criterium des 3 Ans over 2,700m here on 12 September. Has taken his game to a new level this season and looks principal threat to NOBEL DU RIB (7)
Summary: Winner of a Gr.3 following his third place in the Gr.1 Critérium des 3 Ans, NOBEL DU RIB (7) appears to hold the best cards. NAT KING COLE (9) is well suited to these shorter trips though and will be a tough nut to crack. NUEVO CASH (8) is back under harness after winning the Gr.1 Saint-Léger des Trotteurs a fortnight ago. NEWTON DES FORGES (1) faces more experienced rivals here but has plenty of potential and must be respected.

- NEVALE VET – Has ability but disqualified in last two, the latest a Class A over 2,700m here on 5 September, and can be ignored
- NO ONE – Disqualified in a Class A over 2,700m here on 16 October. Has form at Group level but is biting off more than she can chew this time

- NAFI DE REVE D’OR – Finished 5th in a Class B at Graignes over 2,700m on 12 October, having placed in previous two. Takes on a superior lot this time and is not an obvious choice
- NACRE DU MOUTHIEUX – Unplaced at Graignes over 2,700m on 12 October following a well-earned break. Has won a Gr.3 under these conditions and, on good behaviour, can get in on the action
- NYMPHE D’ELLE – Has not been seen out since being disqualified in Group I Prix d’Essai over 2,700m here on 21 June and is not about to set off any fireworks
- NIKITA – Fourth in a Group III at Vincennes over 2,700m on 27 September. Is unlikely to spring any surprises but can pick up a cheque nevertheless
- NYASSA DAXEL – Disqualified in a Class B at Reims over 2,550m on 14 October. Placed twice at Gr.2 level in August, sports pads this time, and should be taken seriously
- NORMA JEANE – Ran 6th in a Class B at Chartres over 2,825m on 15 October. Is confirmed at this level, and under these conditions, but is unlikely to make her presence felt
- NOELA JOSSELYN – Finished 11th when preparing for this in a Class B at Reims over 2,550m on 14 October. Is fitted with pads this time and, with her trainer back in the bike should not be far off the mark
- NAYA D’ERONVILLE – Tenaciously impressive winner of Gr.1 Criterium des 3 Ans over 2700m here on 12 September, making it 4 on the trot, and can increase her unbeaten stretch to five
- NORMANDIE NIEMEN – Disqualified in last two starts, the latest a Group II over 2,700m here on 11 September. Is a classy filly though and can make a big splash if she gets off on the right foot
- NOCIVE DU CHOQUEL – Good runner-up in a Group I Criterium des 3 Ans over 2,700m here on 12 September. Is the richest horse here for a reason and connections will be seeking revenge
Summary: NAYA D’ERONVILLE (12) took a significant step forward when winning the Gr.1 Critérium des 3 Ans and will be difficult to oppose. That said, NOCIVE DU CHOQUEL (14), ran second to her that day and François Lagadeuc will be out to turn the tables. Shod as she was when successful in the Gr.2 Prix Reine du Corta, NORMANDIE NIEMEN (13) will be no easy touch if David Thomain keeps her focused. The tricky but capable NACRE DU MOUTHIEUX (6) is shod to preference for her first objective of the autumn and warrants attention.

C7 – PRIX BELLONA – 2100m (a1m1/4) – – Harness – EUR € 46,000 - MAMACITA – Successful in a Class C over 2,175m on 5 September. Has pulled the rail but comes here on a five-timer and will have her chances
- MONTEQUILLO – Finished 3rd in a Class B at Cordemais over 2,800m on 4 October. Put in quite the finish that day and the change of shoeing profile may be just the ticket to his return to the winners’ enclosure
- MONI MAKING PACE – Well-travelled colt returning to the venue after running lacklustre 6th in a 2850m Class D late last month. Is shod this time but can still give this a good go
- MEMPHIS ELLIS – Surprise winner of a monte Class C over 2,175m here on 6 October but would be preferred a level down
- SLIPSTREAM ZON – Makes French bow after coming 5th in a 2140m Jagersro Gr.1 in early-September. Finds herself in less-exalted company this time and with Mathieu Mottier reining must not be underestimated
- MARQUISE DE MAGNY – Ran 6th in a Class B at Cordemais over 2,800m on 4 October. Sports a new profile for return to the capital but others still easier to support
- METIDJA – Unplaced in a Class B at Graignes over 2,700m on 12 October. Has been below-par for past 3 months and will first need to reassure
- BROWNIE DIAMANT – Excellent filly with an enviable strike-rate, and has won 4 of last 5. Is barefoot, with Gabriele Gelormini reining, for Vincennes debut and even though drawn wide, still looks a player
- MON PLAISIR – Finished 6th in a Class B at Le Croise-Laroche over 2,800m on 30 September. Otherwise boasts a solid Vincennes record, has been re-shod, and can make first five
- GIAVA WISE L – Unexceptional filly that failed to deliver in a valuable 2100m event at Santi Cosma e Damiano in early-August. Has not been seen out since though and is unlikely to create an upset
- MAMOUNIA SEVEN – Finished 12th, on comeback, in a Class C over 2,700m here on 16 October. Stays shod and can be ruled out
- GIULIA PLAY – Got back down to business when winning a Class D over 2850m here on 27 September. Benjamin Rochard reining this time but is not a priority
- MEA CULPA – Unplaced in a Claimer at Enghien over 2,875m on 5 October. Is no longer credible at this level and can be passed over
- MISS MATTERS – Was pulled up in Turin when prepping for this earlier in the month. Put on quite the show here in September and, with application, can get back down to business
- MASAI MARA – Runner-up in a Class C over 2,700m here on 2 October, following a pair of eliminations, but the draw will do her no favours
- MYRTILLE MARBOULA – Unplaced in a monte Class C over 2,175m here on 6 October, a fortnight after winning a claimer over course and distance, but is clearly taking on too much
Summary: Despite the presence of some formidable foreign rivals, MONTEQUILLO (2) has been fitted with 4 pads for the first time and can fly the flag for France in this penultimate race. MISS MATTERS (14) ran very well against better opposition here last month and, in similar shape, will be no pushover. MAMACITA (1), beaten just the once in six starts this year, is arguably every bit as good those two. SLIPSTREAM ZON (5), barefoot this time, and BROWNIE DIAMANT (8), both operate at a high level in their respective countries and look serious contenders.

- LOOKING FOREXPRESS – Has been disqualified in 4 consecutive starts, the latest a harness Class F at Lisieux over 2,725m on 11 October, and will have nothing to contribute
- LUCKY NUMBER – Produced an 85-1 surprise when clinching a Class F at Nantes over 3,000m on 25 September. Is unlikely to repeat, but could still pick up some prizemoney
- L’INCORRUPTIBLE – Finished 9th in a harness Class F at Durtal over 2,825m on 11 October. Is shod for monte debut and unlikely to make much impact
- LARGINO BRAVOURE – Finished 10th in a harness Class E over course and distance on 6 October. Is new to the discipline, and steps up in category, but could pleasantly surprise nevertheless
- LATINO ELDE – Had been on a productive run of form before being disqualified in last two, the latest a Class E at Villedieu Les Poeles over 2,800m on 13 September, but it is only a question of time before he returns to doing what he does best
- LOUSTIC DE DALINE – Takes first competitive monte steps after being disqualified twice under harness, the latest a Class E at Nuille-Sur-Vicoin over 2,850m on 12 October. Mathieu Mottier knows him and will be well-backed to win this
- LE VENT DU HOULET – Finished 5th in a Class E at Enghien over 2,875m on 28 September. Consistently gives a good account of himself and can again make first five
- LAPIX HOSTMAIL – Makes Vincennes bow on the back of 2 straight harness successes on turf recently. Has won 1 of 2 monte starts, will be reunited with Charline Blaizot who scored with him in June, and could well do so again
- L’ONCLE SAM – Disqualified in a harness Class E at Nantes over 3,000m on 25 September, after having run 4th at Cabourg the previous month. Is unlikely to get his head in front but is unlikely to go home empty-handed either
- LAGON DU DEZERT – Respectable for the most part, most recently 2nd in an Enghien Class E 3.5 weeks ago, and will not be sent out at 57-1 this time
Summary: Superb in the provinces this year, LAPIX HOSTMAIL (9) could well make a winning Vincennes debut and secure a first hat-trick. For his first start under the saddle, LOUSTIC DE DALINE (7) will be partnered by Mathieu Mottier, and LAGON DU DEZERT (11) will be better-supported than he was at Enghien. Prepared for this under harness, L’ONCLE SAM (10) should be taken seriously on his return to the code.

The other six-year-olds, KARYNNDO ROBSEN (5) and KAMARO DU DONJON (1), who start from the front, will attempt to deny him victory. KARYNNDO ROBSEN (5) has done well in this category thus far so must be respected for that.
