Summary: Consistently in the thick of things in this branch of the business, LOUVE ANGEL (7) defied her odds to come 3rd at Vincennes recently and a similar performance would see her lose her maiden status. Lou Lucas-Fouche can still expect to meet opposition from well-engaged stablemate LIBERO DU DONJON (8) who has taken well to his new vocation. After having reassured at Laon recently, LEGATO (5) goes left-handed again and, with application, can trot his way onto the podium.

Summary: Winner under these conditions mid-June on his first barefoot start, KEFIR COHIAIS (8) has been handed an unappealing draw but he still looks good enough to double up. KLARCK (3) put on a fine show under similar conditions a few days later and the good draw will do his chances no harm. Summary: Three times a winner in five barefoot starts at La Capelle, HUGO D’HERTALS (6) finished second on his only start over 2750m here, but in current form, looks set to put that right. 25m better off, and a winner at Reims a fortnight ago, GOLDWIN SANTIGNY (4) looks the main threat. That being said, GAMINE DE RIBEAU (9) was superb at Caen before going close at Parilly last weekend and even starting with the handicap, can make a big splash.
