R1 VINCENNES [L-H]
C1 – PRIX DE BOURIGNY – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class A Race – Harness – EUR € 71,000
- JIM PERRINE – Failed to pull off the hat-trick when 12th of 16, behind JOLIE SURPRISE (2), in a 2700m Class B here 3 weeks ago. Thrives over these shorter trips and should not be hastily-condemned
- JOLIE SURPRISE – 5th of 16 in a 2700m Class B here 3 weeks ago. Is not about to cause an upset but is not incapable of picking up a minor place cheque
- JOCONDE SIBEY – Was expected to finish closer than 5th of 13 in a 3000m Nantes Class A 11 days ago. Is confirmed in this class though and Louis Baudouin will not be displeased with the draw
- JINGLE DELO – Out of the picture in both starts since the break, latterly 14th of 16, behind JOLIE SURPRISE (2), in a 2700m Class B here 3 weeks ago. Shoes back on and poses no danger
- JE REVE DU BOIS – Back under harness after being sanctioned in a 2850m Laval monté Class A on 1 November. In the frame in 2 of 3 here when barefoot, and the draw will only help his chances
- IMMORTAL DOC – Makes Vincennes debut after running 4th in 2140m Breeders Crown semi-final in Solvalla on 3 November. David Thomain in the bike this time and is sufficiently well-drawn to make his presence felt
- WORKING CLASS HERO – Has not been seen out since coming 6th of 10 over 2140m at Solvalla in August. Starts in front, won last time over the main track, and will be barefoot this time
- HNOKKI SPEED – Has failed to excel since coming to France, most recently sanctioned in a Gr.3 over course and distance 11 days ago, and can be passed over
- JUSSEO – Unraced since winning a 2925m Cagnes Class A 3 months ago. Stays shod for comeback and best to wait
- DESTINY DI POGGIO – Classy campaigner that ran 4th of 12 in Gr.2 Prix Marcel Laurent over course and distance earlier in the month. Handed a tough draw but with JMB back in the bike, can trot off with the silverware
- JIGSAW PUZZLE – Unremarkable 4th of 9 in a 2700m Class B here mid-October. Comes here fresh but is simply not up to the task
- DAYAK (ITY) – Useful element making first appearance since being sanctioned in a 2850m Class B here last August. Is barefoot for re-entry but the draw will do him no favours
- DUBHE PRAV – Transformed over recent months, latterly just missing out for the hat-trick over a mile in Turin early-November. Is confirmed here and , even from the back line, can get in on the action
- MAN OF STEEL (GER) – Sanctioned over 1900m at Berlin-Mariendorf on 20 October. Stays shod for Vincennes debut and the draw only compounds matters
- HEARTBEAT THUNDER – 4th of 14 to DESTINY DI POGGIO (10) in a Class C over course and distance on 25 October. Will have come on for the run and, while unlikely to beat her, can nevertheless apply more pressure this time
- YAHOO DIAMANT – Returns to Paris after winning over 3100m at Wolvega. Has never left Vincennes empty-handed and, even in spite of an unfavourable draw, is not about to start
Summary: DESTINY DI POGGIO (10) has simply thrived since coming to France last winter and, reconfigured following her Gr.2 Prix Marcel Laurent run, can defy the draw and win this. Quality nordic import, HEARTBEAT THUNDER (15) ran 4th to her late last month, on his first French start, and again looks the principal threat. Winner of 2 in the provinces before failing to fire here earlier in the month, JIM PERRINE (1) nonetheless starts in front and gets a good chance at redemption. Although somewhat below-par at Nantes recently, JOCONDE SIBEY (3) has never disappointed at Vincennes in this configuration and must be respected.

C2 – PRIX DE MASSIAC – 2200m (a1m1/2) – Class E Race – Mounted – EUR € 41,000 - JUPITER CAPTAIN – Off the boil over recent months, latterly sanctioned in a 2175m Class F here on 9 November, and can be confidently disregarded
- JALIENORTH GAME – Sanctioned early in a 2850m Parilly Class F mid-month. Has done nothing of note for some time and, even though reconfigured, can be ruled out
- JOKER D’AMARO – Imposed under the saddle at Caen before running 3rd of 13 in a 2650m Saint-Galmier harness Class F last week. Makes first appearance on inner track and may be taking on too much this time
- JINGLE DES BROUETS – Well-beaten 4th of 7 to JESOLO (10) in a 2175m Class F here on 9 November. Always gives his best though and can get a look-in
- JEAN DES GLENAN – Has not been seen out since running 7th of 11 in a 2975m Dinan harness claimer early-August. Reverts to a previous configuration but will still have nothing to contribute
- JEAN NO DU MARGAS – Debuts in the discipline after quickly faulting in a 2725m Graignes Class E on 12 November. Has however done enough under harness to be considered a decent prospect, and with Paul Ploquin in the irons will be given every chance
- JOBOURG MESLOIS – Got back in the game with victory in a 2800m Strasbourg Class F on 25 October. Has no Vincennes references but has talent in spades and, in current form, is unlikely to disappoint
- JOYAU DE JANZE – Seldom disappointing, latterly an unlucky 4th of 9 in a 2850m Laval Class E 3 weeks ago. Is evidently close to his race and will be expected to bring the fight to JESOLO (10)
- JOBERMAN DU HOME – Makes first appearance since being sanctioned in a 2875m Enghien Class D on 10 October. Has nothing to prove under the saddle, races barefoot for the occasion, and on good behaviour can finish in the mix
- JESOLO – Easy winner, in a personal best of 1’11″2, of a 2175m Class F here on 9 November. Has a lot going for him again and can double up
Summary: Remarkable winner over the main track earlier in the month, JESOLO (10) is just 740 Euros from elimination and, already confirmed on the inner course, will be a tough nut to crack. That being said, the reconfigured JOYAU DE JANZE (8) has been dynamic for the past 6 months and looks the main threat. Back in the form he demonstrated earlier this year, JOBOURG MESLOIS (7) will be no pushover.

C3 – PRIX D’AVRANCHES – 2850m (a2m) – Class E Race – Harness – EUR € 35,000 - LAST CHANCE – Improving filly that ran a courageous 3rd of 8 in a 2725m Graignes Class E earlier in the month. Takes a notable climb up the category-ladder though and will struggle to make her mark
- LOVE PROFUSION – Lost her maiden status [at 9th time of asking] in a 2700m Graignes Class F on 2 November. Consistently gives her best and should be good enough to make first 5
- LA COMTESSE MADRIK – One-paced 7th of 10, behind LUNE DE L’EMION (9), in a 2200m Class E here on 5 November. Is not without merit but still needs to take her game up a notch
- LIFE IS BRIGHT – Returns to racing over longer after being sanctioned in a 2100m Class E here last week. Is not lacking ability, just reliability. Chance
- LATIKA BELLA – Got off the mark at Challans before coming 5th of 13 in a 2150m Enghien Class D a month ago. Takes a dip in category and can make this her own
- LOVE LETTERS FERM – 3rd of 10 at 63/1, a place behind LILY ROSE MYSTIC (8), in a 2550m Reims Class E a fortnight ago, but a repeat is not anticipated
- LELLAMIKA – Placed twice before running 5th of 11 in a 2200m Caen Class D on 20 October, but may be taking on too much this time
- LILY ROSE MYSTIC – Imposed at La Capelle before running 2nd of 10 in a 2550m Reims Class E 2 weeks ago. Takes on a better lot this time but with Damien Bonne in the bike, will be afforded every chance
- LUNE DE L’EMION – Respectable 4th of 10 in a 2200m Class E here on 5 November. Has been fitted with pads for first time and must be afforded respect
- LIBERTY JOSSELYN – Useful sort that finished last of 8, on return to competition, in a 2175m Class D here 3 weeks ago. Will have come on for the run, should take well to these conditions, and can play a prominent role
- LALUNA DES FORGES – Returned from a long absence with victory in a 2550m Reims Class E on 20 October. Is unquestionably on the way up and will have a lot to offer if Romain Derieux keeps her trotting
Summary: A quality filly that is clearly superior to the opposition, LATIKA BELLA (5) makes her Vincennes debut in excellent shape and can make it a winning one. Leading the opposition is the well-engaged pair of LIBERTY JOSSELYN (10) who visibly showed her form on re-entry, and LALUNA DES FORGES (11) who got straight down to business on her own comeback. LIFE IS BRIGHT (4) is still rather green, but her potential is not in question and, if applied, could pleasantly surprise.

C4 – PRIX DE GENSAC – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class C Race – Mounted – EUR € 46,000 - LEON DE LA COURBE – Unexceptional 5th of 10 in a 2200m Class E here mid-month. Is an honest sort though, appreciates the main track, and can get in on the action
- LABEL DE LARRE – Courageous 4th at Enghien before finishing last but one in 19 November race of reference. Pads fitted this time but still looks out of his depth
- LUTHER – Capable type that was sanctioned on comeback early-October in a 2875m Meslay harness Class D. Won over course and distance during the spring [beating LORD CATH (5)] and, if focused, will be dangerous
- LEADER DE SEVRE – Back under the saddle after 2 harness fresheners, most recently finishing last of 11 in a Class D over course and distance. Has no main-track references and others easier to back
- LORD CATH – Runner-up over course and distance before repeating in a 2175m Class D here on 19 November. Is evidently on the right track and is not incapable of getting off the mark
- LATINO PURA VIDA – Raced better in a harness Class D over course and distance 2 weeks ago than his 6th of 11 would suggest. Cannot be considered a player but is still worth monitoring
- LUSSABEAU – Showed marginal improvement when 5th of 9, behind LORD CATH (5), in a 2175m Class D here last week, but is unlikely to confirm
- LOTI SOLO – Last of 9 in a 2850m Laval harness Class A conditioner on 16 November. Front pads fitted but still appears to be facing a stiff test
- LEONARD DU CLOS – Imposed at Enghien last month before running 4th of 9, behind LORD CATH (5), in a 2175m Class D here last week. In better category this time but can still hold his own
- LITTLE DAIDOU – 9th of 11, behind LATINO PURA VIDA (6), when preparing for this in a harness Class D over course and distance a fortnight ago. Outclassed the opposition on lone start in the code and, with application, should have this in the bag
- L’AS DE COEUR – Clearly capable but sanctioned in last 3, latterly a Class B over course and distance on 12 November. Is confirmed under these conditions however and must not be discounted
- LE PRIEURE – Won 3 in a row before coming 3rd of 9, a place behind LORD CATH (5), in a 2175m Class D here last week. Enjoys a very good entry and will have a lot to contribute
- LUCIFER D’ORPHEE – Won a Vichy Class D before coming 2nd of 9 in a Class B over course and distance mid-October. Is close to winning another but may have to settle for a place payout this time
Summary: After having won 3 of his first 4, LITTLE DAIDOU (10) now faces his first objective of the winter after a brace of harness conditioners, and with application can wrap this up. Mathieu Mottier will nevertheless be justifiably wary of LORD CATH (5) who has been lurking lately, and LE PRIEURE (12) who has been a revelation since switching codes. Even better-engaged at the limit of earnings, the similarly-performant LUCIFER D’ORPHEE (13) returns fresh and will be no easy touch.

C5 – PRIX DU SAP – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class C Race – Harness – EUR € 68,000 - GALA DE CRENNES – 8th of 9 in a 2700m Class B here on 9 November. Ideally-engaged though and in spite of the unfavourable draw, still looks good enough to challenge for a place on the podium
- GINKO DU ROUSSOIR – Steps back in category after finishing an honourable 8th of 14, a place behind GALA DE CRENNES (1), in a 3000m Nantes Gr.3 on 6 November. Is arguably better over longer but enjoys a good entry and must be respected
- GLOIRE DU PERCHE – Unraced since being sanctioned in a 2750m Class D at La Capelle on 23 September. Has had time to get her house in order and is ideally-positioned to make a big impact. Chance
- FAREDGIO MENUET – 10th of 14, behind GALA DE CRENNES (1), on return to competition in a a 3000m Nantes Gr.3 on 6 November. Perfectly-drawn but would be preferred barefoot
- GAZOLINE DU SEUX – 8th of 16 in a 2200m Caen Class B on 20 October. Has excellent credentials over course and distance though and the draw will only enhance her prospects
- GILMOUR – Has 2 races under his belt, most recently finishing 11th of 14, behind ENJOY THE GAME (13), in a Class C over course and distance 11 days ago. Has good speed and the draw will do him no disservice. First 3
- GYBOR WELL – Ran good 5th in a Saint-Galmier Gr.3 before finishing an unlucky 3rd of 10 in a 2750m Toulouse Class C a fortnight ago. Clearly close to his race and can bring home the bacon if Matthieu Abrivard keeps him out of trouble
- FAST DOMINO – Out of the picture in 2 since the long break, latterly 10th of 13 in a 2850m Class D here early this month. Benjamin Rochard reining this time but others still preferred
- GOLIATH DU CAUX – Steps back up in class after winning a 2875m Enghien claimer mid-October. Forced to start wide but is in form and could well pick up some crumbs
- FIDELE MADRIK – 10th of 13 in a 2700m Class D here last Saturday and once again appears to have limited aspirations
- GRANDE PRETRESSE – 10th of 17, behind GAZOLINE DU SEUX (5), in a 2200m Caen Class B on 20 October, and appears to need another outing
- FRANKLIN PARK – Has not been seen out since finishing 10th of 14 in a 2925m Cagnes Class C last July and will have nothing to offer
- ENJOY THE GAME – Serious sort with 2 runs in him since the summer spell, latterly 9th of 14 in a Class C over track and trip 11 days ago. Twice a winner here when barefoot and although unlikely to impose, can still play a role
Summary: Denied a run but still very impressive at Toulouse, GYBOR WELL (7) boasts decent references over course and distance and although breaking relatively wide, he still has the wherewithal to win this. Shod to preference for her return to the track, GLOIRE DU PERCHE (3) has won numerous times for David Thomain and, from the 3-spot, will have her chances. GILMOUR (6) has yet to win over 2100m on the main track but seldom lets the side down and, barefoot with Yoann Lebourgeois reining, will be competitive. GALA DE CRENNES (1) drops in category and considering the entry, is very easy to like.

C6 – PRIX DE MAINTENON – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class B Race – Harness – EUR € 52,000 - KIWI CHARENTAIS – Showed improvement despite being sanctioned in a 2100m Class D here mid-month and if applied, could pleasantly surprise
- KOZIELLO DE LOU – Disappointing 10th of 13, behind KALINOU QUICK (7), in a 2850m Class C here 10 days ago. Has merit, and races with pads this time, but first needs to get his house in order
- KAPTAIN DU LIAMONE – Moves back to the main track after being sanctioned in a 2850m Class B here last Friday. In this company though, will struggle to make his presence felt
- KAMIKAZE DU CAMPUS – 5th of 13 despite early stride issues, behind KALINOU QUICK (7), in a 2850m Class C here 10 days ago. Won last time over 2700m here and must be taken seriously
- KRAFEN – Sanctioned in last 2, latterly a 2850m Laval Class A on 16 November. Sports pads this time but still has no possible chance
- KEEP SECRET – Was preparing for this when 9th of 11 in a 2875m Argentan Class A on 3 November. Has references under these conditions and looks a serious proposition once more
- KALINOU QUICK – Left a good impression when 2nd of 13 in a 2850m Class C here 10 days ago. Has never imposed over the distance, and steps up in category, but can still hold his own
- KATAR – Quality individual that finished last of 12, behind KRAK D’AZUR (9), in a Class B conditioner over course and distance on 9 November. Has nothing to prove under these conditions and can give KEEP SECRET (6) a run for his money
- KRAK D’AZUR – Serious type that ran 2nd to the good Karambar in a Class B over course and distance on 9 November. Can occasionally prove a handful but in present condition is very easy to like
- KEEP YOUR DREAMS – Ran 2nd at Vire before coming 6th of 12, behind KRAK D’AZUR (9), in a Class B over course and distance on 9 November. Enjoys a fine entry though, is hard to fault on a good day, and has a realistic chance of making the frame
Summary: Reunited with Yoann Lebourgeois who drove him to a spectacular victory here in September, KEEP SECRET (6) is barefoot for the occasion and will take some beating. KATAR (8) though, sports a new configuration for his first objective of the winter and will be no pushover if focused. KAMIKAZE DU CAMPUS (4) ran well here, despite early adversity, recently and must not be underestimated.

C7 – PRIX PAUL BUQUET – 2850m (a2m) – Gr2 Race – Mounted – EUR € 120,000 - FIASCHETTO – Last of 14, behind GRANIT MESLOIS (4), in a Gr.3 over course and distance 2 weeks ago, and has no realistic chance
- IN LOVE DU CHOQUEL – Sanctioned in both since the break, most recently a 2850m Laval Class A on 1 November. Has won twice over course and distance, is barefoot this time, but represents no more than a minor place chance
- GALET STED – Defied his 30/1 to come 3rd of 6 in a 2850m Laval Class A on 1 November. Has yet to produce the goods at this level though and others preferred
- GRANIT MESLOIS – 5th of 14 in a Gr.3 over course and distance 2 weeks ago. Is hard to knock over 2850m here and will be no easy touch if applied
- EDITION GEMA – Last of 6, behind GALET STED (3), when being conditioned in a 2850m Laval Class A early this month. Superb here last winter, races barefoot this time, and has the credentials to give this a good go. Chance
- HIRONDELLE DU RIB – Disappointing 6th of 7 behind GRANVILLAISE BLEUE (8) in 2175m Gr.2 Prix Reynolds early this month. Shoes off this time but is unlikely to shake things up
- IDEALE DU CHENE – Last of 16 when preparing for this in a 2700m Gr.2 here on 17 November. Is a class above the field and will be expected to get straight back on course for the Cornulier
- GRANVILLAISE BLEUE – Runner-up to the classy Fulton in 2175m Gr.2 Prix Reynolds early this month. Benjamin Rochard gets the nod here and will be expected to finish in first 3
Summary: Terrific winner of the Gr.1 Prix des Centaures last March before being sent for a rest, IDEALE DU CHENE (7) has been given ample time to get in shape and, barefoot this time, is unlikely to be bested. GRANIT MESLOIS (4) boasts a fine record under these conditions though and, similarly barefoot, is unlikely to go down easily. GRANVILLAISE BLEUE (8) may not have won since June 2023 but she made a statement earlier in the month here and is not about to let the side down.

C8 – PRIX DE LA VILLE DE ROYAN – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class C Race – Harness – EUR € 53,000 - JOULYO VITA – Starts for first time since running 6th of 8 in a 2500m Class E at La Rochelle last July. Races shod and can be passed over
- JACKSON BOY – Quality element that ran 10th of 13, on return to competition, in 19 November race of reference. Barefoot this time and, if race-fit, can finish thereabouts
- JEDUISANT – Sanctioned when being conditioned for this in a 2850m Laval Class A on 16 November. Hard to knock under these conditions when barefoot and even in this company, looks a respectable first-5 chance
- JAGUAR DJOB – Set his personal best when 4th of 11 to JIPET DE CREPIN (9) in a Class D over course and distance mid-month. Unshod again but a repeat seems improbable
- JOB DU PERSIL – Unraced since finishing last but one in a 2925m Cagnes Class A late-August. Shoes on and no threat
- JENTIL DIESCHOOT – 11th of 13, when preparing for this, in race of reference. Has never delivered at Vincennes and would be preferred racing right-handed
- JEROCASH DE PHYT’S – Sanctioned, on his first goal of the season, in a 3000m Nantes Class B 3 weeks ago. Is behind in earnings, is plainly in shape, and could well have his day in the sun
- JERENAL D’HAMELINE – Sanctioned when well-supported in a Class C over course and distance late last month. Has otherwise been a model of consistency and will not be far from the action if Antoine Wiels can keep him focused
- JIPET DE CREPIN – Made short work of a Class D over course and distance mid-November. Has never disappointed under these conditions in current configuration, and is in with a realistic shout of doubling his money
- JUDICIEUX – Pleased under the saddle here before finishing 7th of 15 in a 2625m Class D at La Rochelle earlier this month, and even though reconfigured, will need to find more
- JOLI MANNEQUIN – Ran 3rd over 2850m here before finishing 7th of 15, behind JOLIVERT DU GERS (15), in a 2100m Class C here on 19 November. Seldom disappoints over 2700m here but looks a minor place chance at best
- JEU COQUIN – Looked very ordinary when 9th of 13, behind JOLIVERT DU GERS (15), in a 2100m Class C here on 19 November, and will again have little to offer
- JINGLE LOVER – Courageous 5th of 15, a place behind JOLIVERT DU GERS (15), in a 2100m Class C here on 19 November. Boasts solid references under these conditions and should not be far from the action
- JE TE CHERCHE – Classy trotter making first appearance since winning a Class C over course and distance last February. Stays shod though and best to hold off
- JOLIVERT DU GERS – Solid in last 3, latterly 4th of 13 in a 2100m Class C here last week. Is in his category and can make the frame this time
Summary: Very hard to fault under these conditions, JIPET DE CREPIN (9) proved the point in no uncertain terms mid-month and, even in the absence of Eric Raffin, still looks the horse to beat. Although not the most attractive on paper, JEROCASH DE PHYT’S (7) showed his form at Nantes 3 weeks ago and will be dangerous if Yoann Leourgeois keeps him focused. Nicely-engaged here, JOLIVERT DU GERS (15) has been acquitting himself well of late and must be considered a decent place prospect, as should JERENAL D’HAMELINE (8) whose latest sanction here can be shrugged off.

C1 – PRIX JULES MORGAN – 2000m (a1m1/4) – TURF – Maiden Race – Flat – EUR € 23,000
- VAN DIEMEN – Capable colt with the form and experience to be competitive – boasts sound references/form credentials, including a last-start 4th on PSF over 1800m at Lyon-La Soie on 18 November
- PRADO – Didn’t go unnoticed (wasn’t beaten far) when finishing 7th on debut in a newcomers’ race on PSF over 1900m at Chantilly on 12 November. Improvement expected – keep safe
- ZARAKCHIC – Revealed considerable promise when finishing a close-up 3rd in a newcomers’ race at ParisLongchamp over 1800m on 20 October. That seemed a warm contest so need only repeat that performance to fight for victory – one to beat
- JO FRANCAIS – Caught the eye when running on well to finish 2nd on debut over 1900m on heavy ground at Bordeaux last month (26 October). Will play a leading role if confirming the promise of that encouraging introduction
- LE PROFESSIONNEL – Finished a pleasing 6th on debut over 1900m on heavy ground at Bordeaux on 26 October. Should improve with the benefit of that experience
- RAFFAELI – Didn’t go unnoticed when finishing 7th on debut over 2000m on PSF at Pau on 19 October. Would have gained from that experience
- CAMELOR – Improved with each start and step up in trip. Finished a career-best 2nd over 2000m at Marseille-Borely last month (22 October) and will have a role to play if confirming/building on that progress
- ADHEROS – Christophe Escuder-trained newcomer not taken lightly on debut. Coralie Pacaut’s 1,5kg weight allowance aids the chances of this Almanzor colt
- TOUNPASS – Raven’s Pass gelding debuting with Anthony Crastus in the saddle for trainer Nicolas Perret. Not underestimated
Summary: ZARAKCHIC (3) caught the eye on debut (3rd) at ParisLongchamp and finished ahead of subsequent Fontainebleau winner Le Roi Leon, so he needn’t improve a great deal with that experience under the belt to open his account. However, JO FRANÇAIS (4) fits a similar profile and a repeat performance of his Bordeaux 2nd should see Jean-Claude Rouget’s charge fight for victory. Others with podium ambitions include unexposed PRADO (2), improving CAMELOR (7) and LE PROFESSIONNEL (5) after an encouraging introduction.

C2 – PRIX MARINA JACQUIN – 2000m (a1m1/4) – TURF – Class 1 Race – Flat – EUR € 30,000 - FUTURE FATE – Well-performed colt with sound references/form credentials, including a last-start 4th over 1600m in a Listed race at Nantes on 19 October. Candidate for success
- INNER SUCCESS – Finished 4th of 6 over 2400m at Bellewstown on 3 October resuming after a 12-week break. Needs to improve
- VALZAK – Won and finished 3rd in 2 starts on French soil, albeit on PSF (at Cagnes). Returns to France after 2 comeback appearances in Spain, the latest (7th) over 1800m at Madrid on 27 October – best watched for now
- NOBLEMAN – Progressive, versatile colt at the top of his game and in good form/physical condition. Won a 1900m Quinte+ handicap on PSF at Chantilly on 15 October – competitive for a leading position, even under a 3,5kg penalty
- L’HOTELLERIE – Ultra-consistent filly with impressive form figures – only once finished worse than 2nd in 6 starts (2 wins and 3 times 2nd). Runner-up over 1800m at Marseille-Borely on 22 October
- DARLING DARLING – Honest performer with sound references/form credentials, some at a higher level. Bounced back to form with a reassuring 3rd over 1700m at Marseille-Borely on 10 November
- FRANCAISE – Consistent filly with the form and experience to acquit herself competitively. Showed her form and well-being by finishing 3rd over 2100m at Tarbes on 12 October
- YAKAMOUN – Course-and-distance winner last time out on 30 September when resuming after a 3-month break. Big runner, even under a 2kg penalty
Summary: YAKAMOUN (8) impressed when winning a course-and-distance event on her reappearance in late September and, with scope for further improvement after a subsequent break, it could pay to follow her progress. FUTURE FATE (1) sets a good standard and has references at a higher level. He has the form and experience to play a leading role so will challenge the selection for race honours. Progressive last-start Quinté+ winner NOBLEMAN (4) and consistent filly L’HOTELLERIE (5) aren’t taken lightly and have legitimate podium ambitions.

Likely to improve so must be respected, especially with Théo Bachelot up
- BIAK LESCRIBAA – Finished 9th of 13 on debut at Bordeaux over 1600m on 5 November but wasn’t beaten far. Could get into the picture given the likelihood of improvement
- SHAKY NAK – Finished a promising and game-in-defeat 4th on debut from a wide draw over 1800m on PSF at Lyon-La Soie on 18 November. Confirmation expected
- CROIX DU LAC – Unplaced (11th) on debut here over 1800m on 9 September. Open to improvement on her reappearance but is best watched for now
- WEEMAGATEE – Unplaced in 2 starts, both over 2000m at Marseille-Borely with headgear fitted (removed here). Well-beaten 5th of 6 in her latest appearance on 10 November but can improve without the headgear – for another day
- VISAYA – Finished 6 of 8 on debut over 1800m at Marseille-Borely on 30 October. Would’ve gained from that experience but is hard to recommend – best watched for now
- FELINA – Unplaced (10th) on debut at Kempton in August but caught the eye in her first start on French soil when 4th at Saint-Cloud on heavy ground over 1400m on 14 October. Will fight for victory if repeating that performance
- PRINCESSE GALILEE – Closely matched with GINALYAH (1) on the form of their 31 October debut meeting over 2000m at Lyon-Parilly. Needn’t improve much to play a leading role
- INFANTERIA – Didn’t go unnoticed when finishing 6th of 13 on debut over 2000m on PSF at Pau last month (on 19 October). Entitled to improve with that experience under her belt
- BLANCHE SACREE – Finished in midfield (6th of 10) on debut over 1900m on PSF at Chantilly on 12 November. Will have benefitted from that experience and is open to any amount of improvement on the turf – keep safe
- SAPHO – Unplaced in all 3 appearances and soundly beaten (15th) in her last start on PSF over 1600m at Chantilly in first-time headgear on 19 November. Others preferred
- OUREA – Whitecliffsofdover debutante trained by Patrice Cottier, who knows how to ready a newcomer. Respected with Anthony Crastus booked to ride
- FUR ELISE – Christophe Escuder-trained Van Beethoven filly debuting with Marvin Grandin in the saddle. Not taken lightly
- DAME OLYMPE – Valentin Seguy rides this Almanzor filly on debut for trainer Brigitte Ré-Scandella. Shouldn’t be taken lightly
Summary: SHAKY NAK (3) displayed a willing attitude on debut when staying on gamely to finish 4th after racing forward from a wide berth. She would’ve benefitted from that experience and, with any improvement, will be competitive for victory. FELINA (7) also caught the eye last time when finishing an encouraging 4th in her first start on French soil. She, too, is open to improvement so will play a leading role. PRINCESSE GALILEE (8) and GINALYAH (1), who are closely matched on their debut meeting, and BLANCHE SACREE (10), who didn’t go unnoticed first-up, appeal most of the remainder.

C4 – PRIX DE PARISLONGCHAMP – 2400m (a1m1/2) – TURF – Class 2 Race – Flat – EUR € 22,000 - FELIPPO – Won a 2500m Le Croisé-Laroche claimer last month but was soundly beaten (16th) on heavy ground last time out in a 2200m Quinte+ at Chantilly on 26 October. Has only a minor role
- NEPALAIS – Versatile hard-knocker with sound references in Quinte+ handicaps on both surfaces, including a respectable 8th on PSF in a 1900m Quinte+ event at Chantilly on 12 November off this mark. Not taken lightly
- I’M A BELIEVER – Experienced performer with sound references/form credentials, including a good 4th at Chantilly over 2200m on heavy ground in a 2200m Quinte+ last month. Excused his failure (11th) at Fontainebleau on 14 November
- HAVE DANCER – Unplaced in both comeback outings on PSF recently after an 8-month layoff but not beaten far in either – the latest (6th) over 2000m at Pau on 13 November. Favourably weighted back on the turf off a lower mark
- AMELIELYMPIQUE – Unbeaten in 2 appearances at this venue, her last start here over this distance in September last year. Didnt go unnoticed when finishing 5th at Toulouse on 23 October resuming after a 6-month absence – warrants respect
Summary: HAVE DANCER (4), despite finishing unplaced in consecutive recent starts, is favourably treated under these conditions and ought to appreciate switching back to the turf. He acquitted himself well enough in both comeback outings on PSF to suggest he retains the means to win a race of this nature, especially on favourable weight terms despite his reduced mark. AMELIELYMPIQUE (5) will give cheek to the selection in defence of her 100% record (2 from 2) at this track. She leads the opposition ahead of NEPALAIS (2), who benefits from his rider’s 2,5kg allowance, and hard-knocker I’M A BELIEVER (3).

Summary: HASTA LA VISTA (1) arrives in sparkling form and has been doing a lot right of recent. He gets weight off the back which could see him proving hard to beat. TERRE BLANCHE (3) found one too good last time out but has the right type of form to mount a challenge and could pick up the pieces if the favorite were to fluff his lines. SISTERLAND (2) finished well behind the top pick last time out and it’s hard to see her reversing the form but she can place. IL CAPO (8) continues to hold form and can run another consistent race.

Summary: HE’S A ROCK STAR (8) has finished second at three of his last four outings and could well end that string of seconds in this. He is well treated and rates the one to beat. SYLVER SAMBA (7) finished just behind the top pick last time out and despite finding herself 3kgs worse off at the weights, she has the right form to win in a race of this nature. BUSINESS PLAN (6) ran her best race in a while and seems to be back on the right track which should see her being competitive. RIMBAULT (2) continues to hold his form and will be right in the thick of things.
