However, he has to thwart the likely challenge of ZULU WARRIOR (5) who will appreciate this distance and play a leading role. FENELON (6) would’ve needed his comeback outing at Deauville and, with the benefit of that run under the belt. ALWAYS WELCOME (4) and KAPANI (2) appeal most of the remainder.

- FUJI HANA – Inconsistent at a lower level – failed to confirm the form/improvement of her previous start (3rd) in a claimer over 1800m at Lyon-La Soie when only 12th in a similar contest at that venue on 25 October. Makes handicap debut
- ALLABARA – Handicap newcomer with references in maiden and claiming races, including a last-start 5th in a 1600m Lignières claimer in 1 November
Summary: LA FLAMINIA (2) did not run too badly in better races than this and could score on handicap debut. Maturing MISTRA RIVER (5) posted a career-best at Haras du Pin last time and should go well on her handicap and PSF debut if confirming that progress. LARMES D’OR (8) did not go unnoticed, despite finishing unplaced, in a PSF claimer at Deauville earlier this month and, with improvement expected, she should be a factor in the outcome. HEY VINCE (1) can also get involved with the finish.

She gets the nod ahead of LIOUBA JAMES (9), after an eye-catching career-best 3rd, and LADY DE DOMPIERRE (6), who fits a similar profile. LUMINA JIEL (10) is on the right track after a frustrating sequence of disqualifications, so she is competitive for the places along with LIBERTY SMART (2).

Summary: Highly regarded LUEGO CONTIGO (11) is talented but delicate in equal measure. He has the means to win a race like this but must prove his diligence/application to do so. Stablemate LORD DE BAGI (10) is improving and leads the opposition in the company of LABEL DU MONT (8), who has regained freshness since finishing 2nd on this track last month. - IMPULSIF D’AVENIR – Experienced, versatile trotter with sound references in both codes – finished 4th under the saddle over 2950m at Toulouse on 28 October and 3rd in a 275m Agen harness race on 17 November

Summary: A toss-up between unexposed JALNY DE CASTELLE (9) and thriving JOE TEJY (8). Both have reeled off a sequence of victories and remain competitive for race honours. JOGGER KILY (13) caught the eye when finishing 5th at Agen last month and could join that fight for victory if confirming/building on that improved performance. JODLEUSE MAG (10), JO DE CAZOULENE (11) and JAMES BOND DUEM (2) appeal most of the remainder.

- KAROLYNE DE MALAC – Experienced filly with sound references/form credentials, including a last-start 6th over 2150m at Mauquenchy on 10 November. Dark horse
Summary: KUEEN PEARL (14) didn’t go unnoticed here last time despite her disqualification and showed enough that day to suggest that she can win a race of this nature if remaining wise. Experienced KATHARINA DE MAI (15) fits a similar profile and will play a leading role if she can avoid the sanction. KIERA MAGIC (10), after a winning start for the Benjamin Goetz stable, Romain Bouvier’s KENDLY DU PADOUENG (8) and unexposed KORALIE D’ISQUES (11) sale also short list material.

- HERAKLION – Complicated mare with undeniable but seldom far from a fault. Didn’t go unnoticed when 5th over course and distance on 15 November – question of wisdom
- IPPON DE MONTCEAU – Consistent and well-performed trotter in good form/physical condition. Showed his form and well-being when winning at Nimes over 2750m on 11 November – will remain competitive for victory
- IDEAL DE JEAN – Well-performed trotter with solid form references/credentials under these conditions and at a higher level, including a last-start 7th in a 2100m Quinte+ event at Vincennes on 15 November. Keep safe
Summary: IPPON DE MONTCEAU (7) added to his tally by winning at Nîmes recently and, even though the switch to this venue will suit I AM DES MOTTES (4), the former is taken to confirm his superiority over that rival. IDEAL DE JEAN (8) boasts references at a higher level and retains the means to join the fight for victory. INCAHUASI (3) and HACIENDA DESBOIS (5) are competitive for a podium berth.

- EQUIANO – Hard-knocking veteran with sound references, especially in this unshod configuration. Soundly beaten (shod) over 2850m at Lyon-Parilly on 16 November
Summary: GEANT SARTHOIS (11) concedes a headstart to FAUX DOLLARS (6) and FUN LOVER (3), both well entered and barefooted on all four feet, but is worth siding with given his references at a higher level. GANGSTER DAVANESS (13) and FEMTO DE VAUVERT (15) also retain sufficient means to play leading roles in a race of this ilk. C1 – PRIX DE CONDAT – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class D Amateur Riders Race – Mounted – EUR € 42,000
- IONA GENDREENNE – Imposed at Segré before being sanctioned in a Class E over course and distance 12 days ago. Evidently in super shape but, in this category, will have limited prospects
- IL MAGNIFICO – Debuts in the discipline after running 6th of 10 in a Class E over course and distance a fortnight ago. Has merit but finds himself in better company here and will struggle to make his mark
- IDEAL D’ARTONGES – Defied his 29/1 to come 3rd to IQUEM NARCY (5) over course and distance mid-month. Sports a new configuration but a repeat nevertheless seems improbable
- ITALIA JADOR – Pleased here late-October before coming 8th of 11 in a 2850m Laval harness Class E conditioner 11 days ago. Appears to have a future in this branch of the business and should again make first 5
- IQUEM NARCY – Won 2 of last 3, most recently with authority over course and distance mid-month. Takes on a better field this time but the nature of his recent romp bodes well for his chances
- IQUITA VILI – 3rd to IN LOVE DE BLARY (11) at Mauquenchy before coming 4th of 14 in a 3000m Nantes Class G 10 days ago. Not short of Vincennes references and is worth keeping an eye on
- IBILI D’OCCAGNES – 7th of 10 to IN LOVE DE BLARY (11) in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class E conditioner 2.5 weeks ago. Seldom lets the side down over 2700m here and, barefoot this time, must not be discounted
- IRON SPIRIT – Returns to his code of preference after finishing 11th of 14 in a 2100m harness Class E here last week. At this level though, will have little to contribute
- ISABELLA DIMJY – Clearly back in the game, most recently 3rd of 8 in a 2175m Class D here on 14 November. Has a particular liking for the main track and, with application, is not incapable of spoiling the party
- ILEO PIERJI – 10th of 13, when preparing for this, in a 2875m Enghien harness Class D a month ago. Appreciates these conditions and appears to have a good hand to play
- IN LOVE DE BLARY – Tenacious winner of a 2850m Mauquenchy Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Is a serious type in this branch of the business and will be expected to bring the fight to ICARE DU LEARD (13)
- IMOKO ATOUT – Superb winner of a 2850m Maure harness Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Is new to the ridden code but is plainly in shape and will generate some interest
- ICARE DU LEARD – Has 2 runs under his belt, latterly 11th of 13 in a 3300m Chartres harness Class F 10 days ago. Has nothing to prove at this level, or over track and trip and, if applied, can finally open his 2024 account
Summary: A tough nut to crack when barefoot and focused, ICARE DU LEARD (13) enjoys a terrific entry here and, considering his liking for these conditions, can get straight down to business. Even though yet to impress under the saddle over 2700m here, IN LOVE DE BLARY (11) made quite the statement of intent last time out and is unlikely to go down easily. Facile winner over course and distance mid-month, IQUEM NARCY (5) is very easy to like, as is ILEO PIERJI (10) who has never disappointed over course and distance.

- MOON STAR – Unexceptional last of 8, on debut, in a 2275m Nantes Class F a month ago. Mathieu Mottier reining this time but still not an obvious choice
- MAGIE DE CHAHAINS – Sanctioned, on return from a break, in a 2250m Auch Class E 2.5 weeks ago, and is not about to spring any surprises
- MYGIRL DES FORGES – 6th of 9, behind MARIE OH FREDLAU (12), in a 2200m Class D here late-October, and has a lot more to find this time
- MA BELLA DE JED – Placed in first 2 but showed her limits earlier this month when 7th of 8 to MAGDA DE VANDEL (7) in a 2400m Chateaubriant Class E 2.5 weeks ago, and can be passed over
- MADONE DU TRIEUX – 2nd at Cabourg before being sanctioned in a 2400m Chateaubriant Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Has evident ability but others easier to trust
- MAGDA DE VANDEL – Confirmed good qualification with success on debut in a 2400m Chateaubriant Class E 2.5 weeks ago, and will have her chances if she goes left-handed
- MOUSTACHE – Made up for Cabourg sanction when 2nd of 11 in a 2050m Laval Class F 11 days ago, but cannot be considered more than a minor place prospect
- MASTERCLASS D’EARL – 4th of 11, a place behind MAESTRIA GALAA (15), in a 2850m Class D over inner track a fortnight ago. Has done everything asked of her so far and a similar performance would see her confirm
- MISS DE LA COTE – Qualified well before confirming with victory in a 2400m Amiens Class E a month ago. Takes on a tougher challenge this time but still looks up to the task
- MOUSKIE DE GUEZ – Takes to the main track after 2 straight sanctions, most recently a 2850m Class D over the short course a fortnight ago. Not easy to handle but, with application, will not be going home empty-handed
- MARIE OH FREDLAU – Held her own when 4th of 9 in a 2200m Class D here late-October. Entrusted to David Thomain for the occasion and will not be available at 47/1 this time
- MERRY – Disappointing since winning on debut during the summer, most recently 8th of 11, behind MAESTRIA GALAA (15), in a 2850m Class D over inner track a fortnight ago, and has nothing to offer
- MYSTIQUE LADY – Debuted nicely before smartly winning a 2050m Hyeres Class D on 13 October. Faces a stiffer test this time but still looks capable of doubling up
- MAESTRIA GALAA – Showed marked improvement when 3rd of 11 in a 2850m Class D over inner track a fortnight ago. Is a promising filly and can win this if she takes to the slightly more-particular conditions
Summary: In the frame in 2 of 3 to date, the well-engaged MAESTRIA GALAA (15) moves to the main track this time and should have the wherewithal to lose that maiden status. She will still come under pressure from MYSTIQUE LADY (14) who has shown considerable potential, and MAGDA DE VANDEL (7) who won first time out with Alexandre Abrivard earlier this month. Similarly successful on debut, MISS DE LA COTE (10) will not be far off the mark if she takes to the new profile.

C3 – PRIX DU TOUQUET – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class D Race – Mounted – EUR € 40,000 - KLASSIC FROMENTRO – Should not be too hastily-condemned for running 6th of 9, behind KILLER FOR LOVA (6), in a Class E over course and distance last week. Is clearly capable and the 8kg allowance will do him no harm
- KRACKSMAN – Returns to a code he likes after finishing 8th of 12 in a harness Class D under these conditions earlier this month. Has solid main-track references but is being aimed too high this time
- KILT – Useful element that was sanctioned in a 2175m Class D here 3 weeks ago. Revised shoeing but must first reaffirm
- KENJI D’AUBERVILLE – Encouraging 3rd of 9, a place behind KILLER FOR LOVA (6), in a Class E under these conditions last week. Has more to find but can still get a look-in
- KING DE PLAY – Runner-up in 2 before coming 10th of 12 in a harness Class D over course and distance earlier this month. In this category, though, will have limited chances
- KILLER FOR LOVA – 2nd of 9, on return to the code, in a Class E under these conditions last week and, if not a flash in the pan, can make first 5
- KIKI AND CO – 9th of 12 in a 2850m harness Class A conditioner here last Friday. Faces his first goal of the winter and can pull it off if Christophe Corbineau keeps him focused
- KING TEJY – Unlucky 7th of 9, when preparing for this, in a 2850m Laval harness Class A 11 days ago. Would be preferred unshod for return to the discipline though
- KIKI DU ROC – Good, consistent type that came 4th of 9 in a 2175m Class D here 3 weeks ago. Has previously imposed under these conditions and can again finish close
- KALIMERO JASMA – Has not been seen out since coming 3rd of 8 in a Class C over course and distance on 20 September. Hind shoes off for re-entry and while unlikely to impose, can still bring home a place cheque
- KING STALLION – Unraced since running a reassuring 4th of 8, a place behind KALIMERO JASMA (10), in a Class C under these conditions on 20 September. Shod as he was when imposing here last April and, if fit, will have a part to play
- KEPHYR D’ESTE – Won a Class D over course and distance, on first start since March, late last month. Will have come on for the run, with morale intact, and has the wherewithal to give KIKI AND CO (7) a run for his money
- KOH I NOOR – Debuts under the saddle after finishing last of 14, on comeback, in a 2700m Class C here mid-October. Has buckets of ability and with Mathieu Mottier in the irons, looks a serious proposition. Chance
Summary: Terrific winner over course and distance last time in the discipline, KIKI AND CO (7) has been specifically prepared for this, races unshod-behind, and even in the absence of Alexandre Abrivard can win this. Christopher Corbineau will nonetheless be justifiably wary of KEPHYR D’ESTE (12) who mad short work of the opposition on his recent comeback, and the talented, and reconfigured, KOH I NOOR (13) who could not have asked for a better entry on his monté bow. KIKI DU ROC (9) returns to his preferred distance and it will not be long before he returns to the winners’ enclosure too.

C4 – PRIX DE ROZAY EN BRIE – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR € 46,000 - JERSEY GEMA – Won 3 of last 4, latterly a 2100m Class F over track and trip on 5 November. Would have preferred a better draw but, in present form, is very easy to like. Chance
- JUSQUINE FOUTEAU – Runner-up at Enghien before coming 3rd of 15 in a 2700m Class E here 2.5 weeks ago. Is plainly in shape and although not a leading contender, should still not be overlooked
- JOIE D’AMOUR – Got back in the game 3.5 weeks ago when easily winning a 2725m Graignes Class E. Has previously scored under these conditions and from the 3-spot is unlikely to disappoint. First 5
- JURELLA – Takes on first objective of new season after being sanctioned when preparing for this in a 2875m Enghien Class D a month back. Has everything going for her here and, on good behaviour, can open her winter account
- JAFLOSA GIRL – Returns to her preferred distance after running 9th of 13 in a 2700m Class D here last week. Damien Bonne reining this time and must be considered a legitimate contender
- JUVAMINE RENARDIER – Reassuring 3rd of 15 in a 2200m Caen Class D on 20 October. Pleased last time over track and trip and the draw will do her chances no disservice
- JIRELLITA – Sanctioned in a 2700m monté Class D here last week. Has been out of sorts for some time and even though reconfigured, will have few friends
- JOIE INTENSE – Disappointing in 3 so far this term, latterly 13th of 15, behind JUSQUINE FOUTEAU (2), in a 2700m Class E here 2.5 weeks ago. Breaks wide and others preferred
- JALNA GIRL – Did not enjoy the best of trips when 5th of 15, behind JUSQUINE FOUTEAU (2), in a 2700m Class E here 2.5 weeks ago. Reconfigured this time and can play a role if Yves Dreux successfully negotiates the start
- JAZZIE DE BERLES – 9th of 14 in a 2825m Chartres Class F 10 days ago. Is still being conditioned and best to wait
- JESSY DES PISTES – Sanctioned in last 2, most recently 9 November race of reference. Front shoes fitted this time and chances limited
- JAZERANE – Steps up in category after finishing 2nd of 16 to JERSEY GEMA (1) in a Class F over course and distance 3 weeks ago. Not ideally-drawn but still has the capacity to play a prominent role
- JISMIE GRIFF – Has struggled this term to reproduce any semblance of form, latterly 11th of 15 in race of reference, and can be ruled out
Summary: Excellent over these shorter trips, but as complicated as they come, JURELLA (4) has been handed an excellent spot behind the car, races unshod-behind and, with JMB back in the bike, can make this her own. Fine winner over course and distance earlier in the month, Benjamin Rochard takes over the reins on JERSEY GEMA (1) and looks the main threat. Runner-up to her that day, JAZERANE (12) starts on the back row but still looks competitive, however she may first have to see off the better-positioned JAFLOSA GIRL (5) who has decent credentials under these conditions.

C5 – PRIX DE BRICQUEBEC – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class C Race – Mounted – EUR € 46,000 - LILOU TREMBLADAISE – Comfortable winner of a 2250m Enghien Class E, first time under the saddle, on 10 October. Has had time to recuperate and looks competitive once more
- LOLLIPOP CHANLECY – Consistent filly that ran 3rd of 7, a place behind LOUVE ANGEL (4), in a 2175m Class D here on 18 November. Fitted with pads for just 2nd time and is not incapable of making her presence felt
- LAURENCIA BELLA – Unremarkable 5th of 7, behind LOUVE ANGEL (4), in a 2175m Class D here on 18 November, and will have nothing to contribute
- LOUVE ANGEL – Made up for Enghien sanction when 2nd of 7 in a 2175m Class D here on 18 November. Not a priority but races with pads this time and will not be available at 122/1
- LUDMILA DETE – Has won 2 of 3 under the saddle, most recently a 2875m Enghien Class D with ease a month ago. Takes on a better lot this time but still has a reasonable shot of finishing close
- LEIA PRINCESS – Sanctioned when plainly going well in a 2175m Class D here last week. Has shown significant potential and Benjamin Rochard is unlikely to allow the same thing to happen again. Place chance
- LOLA DAIRPET – Quality element making first appearance since running 2nd of 9 in a 2250m Enghien Class C last July, and will need the run
- LOVELY CHENEVIERE – Flattering 6th of 9 in a Class B over course and distance a fortnight ago. Takes a dip in category but still not easy to recommend
- LARA DU LERRE – Held her own in a Gr.2 over course and distance on 30 October. Is clearly close to her race, enjoys a fabulous entry and, if focused, can impose
- LAVALLOISE GIRL – Sanctioned, on return to competition, in a 2850m Laval harness Class B on 1 October. Faces first objective of new season and, if race-fit, will be expected to play a leading role
Summary: She may not be the easiest of horses to handle but LARA DU LERRE (9) was by no means disgraced in exalted company late last month and, reunited with Paul Ploquin, and shod as she was here prior to that, may just have the edge over LAVALLOISE GIRL (10) whose monté performances over the summer were particularly encouraging. LEIA PRINCESS (6) was sanctioned here recently but still showed her form and, front pads fitted this time, will have her chances. LILOU TREMBLADAISE (1) opened her monté account at the first time of asking and will be no easy touch if she takes to the Vincennes profile.

C6 – PRIX DE BONNIEUX – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class R Claiming – Harness – EUR € 18,000 - LADY DU POMMEREUX – Makes claiming debut after running last of 9 in a 2100m Class E over the short course here last week. Breaks from 5-spot and with Benjamin Rochard in the bike, will be competitive for the win
- LE PONT FOULT – Last of 9 in a 2700m Class C here late last month. Placed during the summer in a similar event, enjoys a good draw, and can start to get back in the game
- LORIE DE LA PRADE – Made up for 3 straight sanctions when close 2nd of 12 in a 2150m Enghien claimer on 19 October. Enjoys a decent record with Franck Ouvrie and, if focused, can wrap this up
- LANKA – Back in the claiming division after finishing 11th of 13, behind LISA DE CHANLECY (9), in a 2150m Enghien Class D a month ago, and is not about to shake things up
- LARGO DE JOUDES – Respectable 4th of 12, behind LORIE DE LA PRADE (3), in a 2150m Enghien claimer on 19 October. Is plainly better than that and can finish closer this time
- LUCK AND JOY – Last of 13, behind LISA DE CHANLECY (9), in a 2150m Enghien Class D a month ago. Has references at this level but latest numbers do little to inspire confidence
- LOBBY MESLOIS – Sanctioned in a 2175m monté Class D here last week. No star under harness but with front pads fitted for first time, should not be underestimated
- LOU D’ECHAL – Returns to claiming category after finishing last but one in a 2950m Toulouse Class E a week ago. Is new to Vincennes, faces a better bunch this time, and others preferred
- LISA DE CHANLECY – Drops in category after finishing 5th of 6 in a 3000m Nantes Class A 10 days ago. Boasts decent references in the claiming category and will not be far off the mark if she is not victim to her number
- LIKE YOU MADRIK – Ran 3rd at Cherbourg before finishing 7th of 10 in a 2800m Chartres Class G 10 days ago. Will be fit by now but the draw will do him no favours
- LAMTARA BUISSONAY – Last of 10 in a 2550m Reims Class E a fortnight ago. Fitted with pads for the occasion but still looks to have her work cut out
- LAHRANA DU HAUTY – 6th of 9 in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class F 10 days ago. Disappointed on lone claiming start and can be confidently passed over
- LUNE D’OPALE – Makes just 2nd appearance in claiming category, having won the first, after having run 7th of 10 in a 2400m Amiens Class F mid-month. Has little going for her this time either and chances limited
- LOZEN DE BANVILLE – Quickly sanctioned in a 2825m Chartres Class E earlier this month. Has never delivered in the claiming category and is unlikely to start now
- LADY OF DURBUY – Faithful element that ran 2nd of 5 over 2300m at Mons a month back. Handed a tough draw but with Mathieu Mottier in the bike, will be afforded every chance
Summary: Although never far from faulting, the nicely-placed LORIE DE LA PRADE (3) gave a reassuringly-good account across town last month and can win this if she deigns to keep her action together. Fourth that day, LARGO DE JOUDES (5) has been handed a good draw and can again make the frame, but may first have to defer to LADY DU POMMEREUX (1) who would have the measure of most here on a good day. Louis Baudouin would have preferred a better draw for LISA DE CHANLECY (9) but she has solid references at this level and current form augurs well for her prospects.

C7 – PRIX DE RICHELIEU – 2850m (a2m) – Class E Race – Harness – EUR € 35,000 - L’AVIS DU CHAILLOU – 7th of 11, a place behind LOULOU BOY (2), in a 2700m Class E here 9 days ago. Is better than the result would suggest and Benjamin Rochard will be expecting to finish closer this time
- LOULOU BOY – 6th of 11 in a 2700m Class E here 9 days ago. Has shown considerable promise in the provinces and running over a more even track this time, will be in with a reasonable chance of imposing
- LIKE POWER – Last but one in a 2850m Laval Class E on 8 November. Has other priorities and can be ruled out
- LEXCELLENT DU METZ – Undefeated in 2 starts, most recently a 2000m Rambouillet Class F early last month. Faces a stiffer challenge here but has yet to show his full potential and looks the one to beat
- LOOKING D’AURCY – Back under harness after being sanctioned early in a 2200m monté Class E here mid-month. JMB back in the bike but others still easier to trust
- LAOS JIEL – Missed out by little in a 2550m Reims Class E a fortnight ago. Debuts at Vincennes in good company, but is an honest colt and will again give everything he has
- LEONARDO DU DERBY – Good 3rd of 9 in a 2100m Class E here late last month. Is in his category and although unlikely to lose his maiden status, can still challenge for a place on the podium
- LEOLIO – Drops in category and moves to inner track after finishing 6th of 12 in a 2175m Class D here 2.5 weeks ago. Sports pads this time but still looks to have too much to do
- LINGER – Good 3rd of 7 finishers in a 2700m Class E here a fortnight ago. Switches back to the inner track and, with form maintained, can again make the frame
- LEADER DU LOISIR – Flattering 7th of 11 in a 2100m Class E here last week. Is not entirely without merit but would be preferred at a lower level
- LEADER DU MOUCHEL – 5th of 11 finishers in a 2200m Class E here on 4 November. Has ground to make up but is clearly in decent shape and can pick up a minor place cheque
- LUPIN DE BEAUFOUR – Has not been seen out since being sanctioned in a 2950m Toulouse Class B on 20 September. Has bags of ability, boasts solid left-handed credentials, and looks competitively well-in
Summary: LEXCELLENT DU METZ (4) has been a thorough professional in both racecourse appearances, is fitted with hind pads, and can make her Vincennes debut a winning one. She will still meet resistance from the promising LOULOU BOY (2) who should find the inner course more to his liking, and LINGER (9) who has looked a different horse over the past 2 months. LEONARDO DU DERBY (7) gave a good account over shorter last time despite an unfavourable trip, and will not be inconvenienced by the longer distance.

C8 – PRIX FERONIA – 2850m (a2m) – Class F Amateur Drivers Race – Harness – EUR € 12,000 - IDEAL DAIDOU – Has not been seen out since September 2023. Stays shod for re-entry and will not be given a hard race
- IDEAL DE REVAT – 8th of 13 in a 2650m Laval Class F on 16 November. Still in conditioning-mode and others preferred
- GALINETTE DE CYM – Failed to confirm Argentan run when 13th of 15, behind GLAXO LEMAN (5), in a 2625m Class F at Le Mont-Saint-Michel 10 days ago. Barefoot this time but can still be ignored
- IDAO CASH – Reassuring 3rd of 12 in a 2750m amateurs Class H at Le Pertre a month ago. 25m better off this time and although untried here, must not be underestimated
- GLAXO LEMAN – 7th of 15 when preparing for this in a 2625m Class F at Le Mont-Saint-Michel 10 days ago. Excels in the amateur category and, from the front line, will be no pushover
- IF DE LA COUDRE – Sanctioned early in a 2650m Laval Class F 11 days ago. Is better than most in this field and can impose if Thomas Martin gets him off on the right foot
- GORDON PAGUERIE – Sanctioned in 4 of last 5, latterly a 2600m Saint-Galmier amateurs Class G last week, and is not about to spring a surprise
- ICARE DE HOUELLE – 7th of 15 in a 2400m Montauban Class F late last month. Has no amateur references, but enjoys a good entry, and can get a look-in
- IMPRESS ME – Versatile sort that should not be hastily-condemned for coming 8th of 14 in a 2100m Class E here last week. Unlikely to win this but can still finish in the mix
- GIANT STEPS – 11th of 15, on comeback, in a 2850m Laval amateurs Class G on 8 November. Re-shod for the occasion but still not a priority
- EMIR SPEEDHYCAT – 8th of 13 in a 2725m Lisieux amateurs Class F early this month. Is at home in this category but latest results do nothing to inspire confidence
- INEDIT DU GADE – Last but one. on return to competition, in a 3300m Chartres Class F 10 days ago. Here for reasons of conditioning and can be passed over
- GOELAND GEMA – Below-par for past 2.5 months, most recently 10th of 15 in a 2800m Vire Class F 2.5 weeks ago, and will need to pull his socks up
- HORSERIS – Sanctioned in a 2150m Enghien Class E on 17 October. Is clearly in shape though and even from 2nd line, will not be far off the mark
- HUDSON BAIE – Makes first start in the amateur division after running 6th of 13 in a 2950m Saint-Malo Class F early this month. Enjoys an excellent entry and Quentin Champenois will be eager to take advantage. Chance
- ISLA MUJERES – 8th of 11 in a 2825m Chartres Class F early this month. Has not been up to scratch lately, and races with front pads, but is confirmed in the amateur category and could pleasantly surprise
Summary: Sanctioned in his last two, but nevertheless useful at a superior level, IF DE LA COUDRE (6) makes just his second appearance in the amateur division, but starts in front and the 25m advantage may just be enough to hold off the consistent HUDSON BAIE (15) who takes a notable dip in class. Hard to knock in this category, IDAO CASH (4) reassured last time out, while GLAXO LEMAN (5) makes his Vincennes debut in his class of choice SELECTIONS IF DE LA COUDRE (6) – HUDSON BAIE (15) – IDAO CASH (4) – GLAXO LEMAN (5)
