R1 VINCENNES [L-H]
C1 – PRIX ELECTRA – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR € 59,000
- FERGIE HIGHLAND – Returned to winning ways last week in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class E. Gets on well with Alexis Collette and under these conditions is easy to like for the double
- FELINE DE LAVAU – Has not been seen out since finishing an oddly-lacklustre last of 13 in a 2650m Cordemais Class D 2 months ago. Handed a decent draw and the engagement of a leading driver will only work to her advantage
- EVAN PAULO – 7th of 11 to FERGIE HIGHLAND (1) when prepping for this in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class E last week. Barefoot as he was at Graignes, is well-drawn, but still has more to find
- FOX TROT CERISE – In the frame in 4 of last 5, most recently 3rd of 8 finishers in a 2600m Saint-Galmier Class D a month ago. Matthieu Abrivard in the bike for first time, is ideally-placed behind the car, and must not be underestimated
- FURIOSO FLIGNY – Has 3 runs in him since the long layoff, most recently 7th of 14 in a 2150m Mauquenchy Class D on 13 November. Placed nicely in front and will be expected to make first 5 this time
- FERIA DE LIGNY – 6th of 11, behind FAKIR DE GESVRES (13), in a claimer over course and distance a week ago. Seldom delivers at this level and is not about to break the mould
- FALFAUST – 3rd of 10, at 44/1, in a 2950m Toulouse Class C on 13 November. Rejuvenated since returning to racing barefoot and, twice a winner in 4 starts over the main track, is unlikely to disappoint
- ETHAN DRIVE – Smartly won a 2850m Class E here early last month. Has yet to deliver over 2100m on the main track but with JMB at the helm again, will have his chances
- FESTIVAL D’ORIENT – 5th of 10 in a 3000m Borely Class D on 20 November. Sports a fresh configuration but sanctioned in last 5 under these conditions and will have few friends
- FLOCON MONTJEANAIS – Impressive, but surprising, winner of a 3000m Class D at Marseille-Borély last week. Paul Ploquin gets the nod this time but still not an obvious choice
- FIRST LADY BLEUE – 9th of 14, behind FERGIE HIGHLAND (1), in a Class D under these conditions on 25 October. Raced better that day than the result would suggest and, although not a contender, can nevertheless get a look-in
- FLAMBEUR DU DIGEON – 7th of 18 behind FRANCO FLEURI (15), on comeback, in a 2825m Durtal Class F on 13 October. Will have come on for the run, races barefoot this time, but appears to have little to offer
- FAKIR DE GESVRES – Steps back up in category after coming 4th of 11 in a claimer over track and trip a week ago, but is simply out of his league
- EL VALEROSO – Admirable 2nd of 12 in a 3000m Borely Class C mid-November. 4 pads fitted this time though and best to hold off
- FRANCO FLEURI – Just beaten by ETHAN DRIVE (8) in a 2850m Class E here early last month. Is patently back at his best and even though without references over this trip, and poorly-drawn, he is very hard to ignore
- ESTRELLA FAFA – 9th of 10, when being conditioned, in a 2200m Class D at Salon-de-Provence 12 days ago. Barefoot this time but the draw will not aid her plight
Summary: FERGIE HIGHLAND (1) may not have been afforded a choice draw but she has done nothing but improve lately and has twice won over course and distance. Breaking wide but most certainly in form, ETHAN DRIVE (8) is reunited with JMB who won with him last month, and can repeat. FRANCO FLEURI (15) was just headed by him that day and should again play a competitive part, but Mathieu Mottier will first have to negotiate a tough start. Better-positioned behind the car, FELINE DE LAVAU (2) is reunited with Alexandre Abrivard and should logically make up for her Cordemais disappointment.

C2 – PRIX PHOBOS – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR € 40,000 - KALINE DE FAEL – Made it 2 on the trot when running out a superior winner of a 2850m Class E here on 17 November. In better company this time but can still impose
- KALINKA CASTELETS – Off the boil since June, most recently 10th of 13 behind KISS ME DU LIVET (7) in a 2850m Class D here a week ago, and is not about to spring any surprises
- KAI LA SHA – Made up for Le Croise-Laroche clinker when 3rd of 9 in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class A mid-November. Nicely-placed behind the car and has a reasonable chance of finishing close
- KLASS HAUFOR – 2nd of 12 in a Class E over course and distance 2 weeks ago. Occupies the plum spot in front and has every chance of making the frame once more
- KENZA SUPREME – Won over the inner course before faulting early in a 2850m Class D here a week ago, coming 8th of 13 behind KISS ME DU LIVET (7). With a better start though, can play a leading role
- KINDY DU VIVIER – Endured a tough trip behind KLASSE DE BRUZEAU (9) in a 2700m Class D here 2 weeks ago, coming 9th of 14. Starts in front and, on better behaviour, can challenge for the win this time
- KISS ME DU LIVET – Pleasantly surprising 3rd of 13 in a 2850m Class D here a week ago. Barefoot again but a repeat seems unlikely
- KARA DE PADD – Pleasant 4th of 8 in a 3000m Nantes Class A on 17 November. Hind shoes off for first time but others still preferred
- KLASSE DE BRUZEAU – Surprising 4th of 14, at 39/1, in a 2700m Class D here 2 weeks ago, but in this category will have too much to do
- KANTARELLINA CHIC – 9th of 12, behind KLASS HAUFOR (4), in a Class E over course and distance 2 weeks ago. Front pads back on and cannot be considered a priority
- KARMEN DE MONTCEAU – Encouraged early last month but could manage only 7th in race of reference and will not be troubling the judge
- KIRA DE CAHOT – Clinched a 2100m claimer over the inner course here 10 days ago but faces a much stiffer test this time
- KOSMOPOLITAINE – Respectable 4th of 12, behind KLASS HAUFOR (4), in a Class E over course and distance 2 weeks ago, but still needs to take her game up a notch
- KIWA BLEUE – Last but one, on re-entry, behind KLASSE DE BRUZEAU (9) in a 2700m Class D here 2 weeks ago. Has never failed to fire when barefoot and must be respected
- KOKINE JABA – 10th of 14 in 22 November race of reference. Returns to racing unshod-behind and it is only a question of time before she starts to come good again
- KATYLAND – Won a Class E over course and distance before running 2nd of 10 in a Class D under similar conditions mid-October. Has not been seen out since but is barefoot again and, despite the draw, is not incapable of spicing things up
Summary: Winner at Angers before opening her Vincennes account in style, at the first time of asking, KALINE DE FAEL (1) is very easy to live for a three-peat. She is not going to have it all her own way this time though, Matthieu Abrivard surely intent on making up for the misfortune KINDY DU VIVIER (6) endured here a fortnight ago. KENZA SUPREME (5) was victorious over the inner track before faulting early next time, and Mathieu Mottier will be careful to assure her initial strides. KLASS HAUFOR (4) left a good impression on her first winter mission, and is not going to be far from the action.

C3 – PRIX CALLIOPE – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class E Race – Harness – EUR € 35,000 - KEROC PURPLE – 5th of 10 in a 2450m Caen Class F on 9 November. Scored a hat-trick during the summer but is being aimed too high this time
- KONQUERANT – Lost his maiden status at Angers and was then sanctioned in a 2650m Saint-Galmier Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Disregard
- KARAT DEFF – Won a 2625m Cherbourg Class F on 1 November. Comes here fresh but, in this category, is unlikely to confirm
- KALL ME CENSERIE – Unraced since finishing last of 9 in a 2800m Langon Class E late-July and will have nothing to offer
- KINGMAN DELO – 6th of 8, on re-entry, in a 3000m Chateaubriant Class F 3.5 weeks ago. Entrusted to Alexandre Abrivard for first time and will be expected to apply the pressure on his stablemate
- KRONOS DE BUSSET – Showed marked improvement when 3rd of 14 in a 2600m Parilly Class E 3 weeks ago, but in this company will have his work cut out
- KRACK CLEA – Back under harness after finishing 5th of 9 in a monté Class E over course and distance 2.5 weeks ago. Has ample ability but may be taking on too much this time
- KINGSTON DU DOME – Honest sort that ran 4th of 13 in a 2700m Class E at La Capelle on 11 November. Hind shoes off this time but still cannot be considered a priority
- KARATE KING – Got back in the game when 2nd of 11 in a 3125m Angers Class F 12 days ago and with application can repeat
- KELLOU DES BRUMES – Excluded, on first start back, in a 2725m Graignes Class E a fortnight ago. Hind shoes off but others still easier to back
- KIRIO DE REUX – Quality trotter but sanctioned in last 2, most recently a 2200m Class E here 3.5 weeks ago. Reverts to a previous formula though and, if applied, can finish thereabouts
- KILDARE – Made it 2 in a row when comfortably winning a 2150m Mauquenchy Class F early last month and is the most likely to bring the fight to KNOCK OUT MAKER (13)
- KNOCK OUT MAKER – Serious type that easily won a 2400m Amiens Class E late-September. Has had ample time to recover and can extend his already-impressive 50% win-rate
- KOZMIC BLUES – 2nd of 8, on first start since the spell, in a 2725m Graignes Class F on 2 November. Has had time to progress and although not a contender, can still get a look-in
- KILLER BECO – Showed his form despite being sanctioned in a Class E over course and distance 11 days ago. Reconfigured for the occasion and will not be far from the action if he stays in stride
- KIT ANGOT – Dominated a 2550m Reims Class F, on return from the spell, 3 weeks ago. Imposed last time racing left-handed and, considering the entry, must be taken seriously
Summary: Off since May, it didn’t take much time for KNOCK OUT MAKER (13) to return to the winners’ enclosure, and if he repeats what he did at Amiens, the race will be his for the taking. Leading the opposition, KILDARE (12) makes his Vincennes premiere on a hat-trick, while the useful KINGMAN DELO (5) will have come on for his recent return run. KARATE KING (9) showed a different side at Angers on his first start for Fabien Gence, and must be afforded respect.

C4 – PRIX BRASILIA – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR € 46,000 - JOB DU PERSIL – 11th of 12, on first start back, in a 2700m Class C here last week. Shod once more and can be passed over
- JOVIAL HAUFOR – Beat a number of these when 2nd of 11 in a 2700m Class D here 3 weeks ago. Will not be inconvenienced by the draw and could well win this
- JOB DES LOUANGES – Game type starting for first time since running 4th of 11 in a 2150m Enghien Class C last March. Shoes on and no threat
- JASMIN BLANC – 12th of 13, on first start since the break, in a Class C over track and trip 2.5 weeks ago. Barefoot this time but is unlikely to be at full-fitness
- JETPACK – Makes first appearance since running 9th of 14 in a 2850m Class C here 2 months ago. Enjoys a fine draw and, given his liking for these conditions, looks a serious proposition
- JACK DES MALBERAUX – One-paced 8th of 9 in a 2850m Class C here on 31 October. Has freshness on his side, races barefoot, but still faces a stiff test
- JERICHO – Won over track and trip mid-September before running 8th of 15 in a 2700m Class C on 31 October. Appreciates a snappy pace and from the front row, can put on a decent show
- JACK L’EVENTREUR – Surprising 3rd of 11, behind JOVIAL HAUFOR (2), in a 2700m Class D here 3 weeks ago. Starts wide on front line but represents no more than a minor place chance this time around
- JACK SURPRISE – 6th of 15 in a 2625m Class D at La Rochelle a month ago and is unlikely to be influencing the result
- JERZINO VICI – Goes barefoot this time after having finished 8th of 11 in race of reference. Jean-Michel Bazire in the bike again but the draw will do him no favours
- JOJO TOONS – Won at Reims before coming 3rd of 9 finishers in a Class D over course and distance late-September. Competitively-shod for re-entry though and will have a role to play if Alexis Collette extricates him early
- JACOMO BELLO – 5th of 11 behind JOVIAL HAUFOR (2) in a 2700m Class D here mid-November. Has never disappointed under these conditions and is well-placed to give this a good go. Place prospect
- JOUR DE GLOIRE – By no means disgraced when 6th of 11 in 15 November race of reference. Boasts a decent record over course and distance but others still easier to back
- JAGUAR DE KARA – Fine servant when unshod and focused, latterly 2nd of 7 finishers in a 2700m monté Class D a fortnight ago. Is barefoot this time and, with application, could defy the draw and pick up a cheque
- JYTRACE DE HOUELLE – Opened his winter account when successful in a 2700m Class E here 2 weeks ago. Not ideally-situated on back line but Mathieu Mottier keeps the faith and is unlikely to go home empty-handed
- JUNKIES MINDS – Won at Enghien over 2150m before running 2nd of 14 in a Class D over track and trip 11 days ago. Boasts excellent speed and can impose if Matthieu Abrivard successfully negotiates the start
Summary: Handed a shocking draw but clearly in rude health, JUNKIES MINDS (16) was beaten only by a very good horse under these conditions recently and looks the pick of the field this time. Given a rest after disappointing here 2 months ago, the good JETPACK (5) has had ample time to recalibrate and breaking from the 5-spot will only work to his advantage. JOVIAL HAUFOR (2) thrives over 2100m on the main track and his latest performance bodes well for his chances. 5th to him that day, JACOMO BELLO (12) is forced to break from behind but his -course-and-distance credentials speak for themselves.

C5 – PRIX CIRCINUS – 2175m (a1m1/4) – Class D Race – Mounted – EUR € 40,000 - LORD SMART – Encouraged across town before finishing 8th of 13 in a 2150m Class D at the same venue on 19 October. Not the easiest to handle but with a top jockey in the irons, must be taken seriously
- LATINO BEJI – Won at Cabourg but unable to confirm after being sanctioned in a 2200m Class E here 3 weeks ago. Showed his form though but prospects still rather limited
- LABEL SPEED – Makes first appearance since faulting early in a 2700m Class C here last May. Won on debut over the main course and although unraced since May, Damien Bonne is in the saddle and will generate interest
- LUKAS D’OLIVERIE – Useful but complicated individual that ran 6th of 10 finishers in a 2200m Class E here 3 weeks ago. Should be race-fit by now but others still easier to back
- LOLO DU VELO – Has not been seen out since easily winning a 2250m Enghien Class E on 9 October. Has had ample time to get back to his best and the addition of pads could help to seal the deal. Chance
- LOCKDOWN – Reassuring 2nd of 10 finishers in a 2200m Class E here 3 weeks ago. Has no references over the main course but Victor Saussaye has kept the ride and is unlikely to let his charge go down easily
- LABEL DE LARRE – Valiant, but beaten, 5th of 7 finishers in a 2700m Class C here last week. Takes on another good field and is not a consideration
- LEANDRO DE MER – Lacklustre last of 9 finishers in 19 November race of reference and can be confidently passed over
- LUCKY CRISTAL – Clearly in shape but lost his action in 19 November race of reference. May need another run but is not to be discounted
- L’AIGLE PASS – Sanctioned on re-entry 2.5 weeks ago in a Class D over course and distance. Entrusted to Mathieu Mottier for first time and has the wherewithal to win a race of this nature, but must first keep his action together
- LOVE D’AUTHISE – 7th of 9 finishers in a Class D over course and distance 2.5 weeks ago. Will have progressed for the run, has previously imposed under these conditions, and must be viewed more seriously this time
- L’ARTISTE ZEN – Superior winner of a Class E over course and distance 10 days ago. Has a good future ahead of him and even though stepping up in category still looks a leading contender
Summary: Sent for a break after getting off the mark at Enghien last March, L’AIGLE PASS (10) will have come on for his return run, in spite of being sanctioned, and with application will have a realistic chance of getting back in the winners’ enclosure. Mathieu Mottier will be justifiably wary though of the terrifically-engaged L’ARTISTE ZEN (12) who just keeps on improving, and the game LOLO DU VELO (5) who sports pads for the first time. Yet to get fully into his stride this term, LORD SMART (1) showed significant promise earlier in the year, returns to racing shod, and Paul Ploquin has been booked for the occasion.

C6 – PRIX MENKALINAN – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class E Race – Harness – EUR € 35,000 - LOLITA DE JEMAX – Reassuring 4th of 10 in a 2650m Saint-Galmier Class F 12 days ago, but still has a lot more to find
- LUCRECE HAUFOR – Sanctioned in 2 since returning from the break, latterly early in a Class E over course and distance on 21 November. Has buckets of ability though and it is just a question of time before she comes good. Claim
- LOVE ME BECO – Sprang a 122/1 surprise winning a 2825m Cordemais Class F on 24 November. Is confirmed on the main track in the other code and it would be foolhardy to write her off. First 5
- LOVA DE LA COUR – Raced well at Laval before quickly losing her action in a Class E over course and distance a week ago. Top pilot in the bike and can impose if he succeeds in keeping her trotting
- L’AUDACE – Makes Vincennes debut after running 5th of 10 in a 2550m Reims Class E 3 weeks ago. Has evident ability but would be preferred at a marginally lower level
- LAISSEZ FAIRE – 6th of 8, on comeback, in a 2700m Graignes Class E a fortnight ago. Flopped on lone start at the venue and will generate very little interest
- LYRIDE ORLOVE – 3rd of 6 in a 3000m Nantes Class A on 17 November. Consistently gives her best and although unlikely to lose her maiden status, can nonetheless get a look-in
- L’ORANGE – Quality element that reassured when 3rd of 8 in a Class E over course and distance 2 weeks ago. With no snow this time, she should go closer
- LOUBIANA DU BOURG – Sanctioned in both since returning from the break, most recently a 2200m Caen Class D on 20 October. Won 2 from 4 earlier in the year though and is due a big run
- LOLITA STEED – Victorious at Borely last March before the break and picked up where she left off, winning a 2200m Class E at Salon-de-Provence on 19 October. In this category, cannot be considered a priority but should still hold her own
- LISA MONA BLUE – 5th over the short course before finishing 8th of 9 in a 2850m Laval Class A 3 weeks ago, and is not about to spring any surprises
- LAURIANE DU RIED – Placed 3rd in last 2, most recently a 2175m Class E here a week ago. Has a lot going for her here and, reunited with Benjamin Rochard, can finally have her day in the sun
Summary: Both LUCRECE HAUFOR (2) and LOVA DE LA COUR (4) compromised their respective chances last time out but neither should be too hastily-condemned. Each has merit and while LOVA DE LA COUR (4) will be reined by Jean-Michel Bazire, LUCRECE HAUFOR (2) may just have the edge. Just 20 Euros from elimination and clearly close to her race, LAURIANE DU RIED (12) will be no soft touch, and neither will the reconfigured L’ORANGE (8) who pleased over course and distance a fortnight ago.

C7 – PRIX SEMELE – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class F Race – Mounted – EUR € 31,000 - KOMETE DU RABUTIN – Sanctioned in last 5, latterly a 2850m Parilly harness Class F on 20 October. Hind shoes off but still not easy to recommend
- KLIMKA DE VANDEL – Encouraged at Meslay on ridden debut before running last but one in a 2800m Vire harness Class F on Sunday and has no possible chance
- KELLE MAJYC – Imposed at Cabourg before coming 2nd of 10 finishers in a 2875m Meslay Class F 12 days ago. Steps up in category but is easy like for a minor place cheque
- KENZA DE LA BESVRE – Well-beaten on monté debut before finishing 3rd of 14, a place behind KISS MELODY (8), in a 2850m Mauquenchy harness Class E last week. Stays shod but with Paul Ploquin in the saddle, should not be overlooked
- KISS ME DU BOULAY – Sanctioned on monté debut 3.5 weeks ago, in a Class E over course and distance. Is plainly better than that and, shod this time, can make amends
- KALYPSO DU CAUX – Imposed on first start for new trainer, comfortably winning a 2550m Reims harness Class F late last month. Switches back to monté code, with Benjamin Richard in the irons, and will be no pushover
- KABRELLA – Switches code for first time after being sanctioned in a 2700m Class E at Le Croise-Laroche on 9 November. Has evident ability, and sports a fresh configuration, but still not more than a minor place chance
- KISS MELODY – Runner-up in last 2, most recently a 2850m Mauquenchy harness Class E last week. Makes first appearance under the saddle, with front pads fitted and Mathieu Mottier in the irons, and will legitimately garner support
- KATIA DE LA FYE – 9th of 11, behind KITTE DE JANEIRO (10), in a 2825m Cordemais Class F late last month. Barefoot this time but must first re-establish her credentials
- KITTE DE JANEIRO – Unremarkable 4th of 11 in a 2825m Cordemais Class F on 24 November and, even with pads fitted, needs to find significantly more
- KATE SPEED – Good 3rd of 13 in a 2150m Mauquenchy harness Class F on 10 November. Leading jockey onboard for monté debut and can play a prominent part if she takes to the new profile
- KARRY WHITE – 4th of 9 finishers in a 2700m Graignes harness Class F 3.5 weeks ago. Won last time under the saddle, is barefoot for the occasion, but nevertheless looks out of her depth
- KALINE DES ILES – Opened monté account at Bihorel-lès-Rouen before running 9th of 13 behind KATE SPEED (11) in a 2150m Mauquenchy harness Class F on 10 November, and returns to the code with modest prospects
- KEILA TREMBLADAISE – Useful filly making first appearance since winning a 2450m Caen Class F on 18 September. Clearly in competition-mode though and can get straight down to business
- KALLISTE CODIE – Honest filly making first start under the saddle after having run 5th of 10 in a 2450m Caen Class F on 9 November. Sports a new configuration and will be worth watching
- KITA DU RIB – Would have finished close in a harness Class F over 2700m at Le Croise-Laroche 11 days ago had she not faulted in final stages. Form is not in question and looks a major player first time under the saddle. Claim
- KANA DE SUCE – Returns to the monté discipline after running 8th of 13 in a 2700m Class F at Le Croise-Laroche 11 days ago and is unlikely to shake things up
Summary: Nicely-entered here and sporting shoes as she was when successful at La Capelle early last month, KITA DU RIB (16) makes her monté debut in cracking form and can win at the first time of asking. Pierre-Yves Verva will still be keeping a watchful eye on KEILA TREMBLADAISE (14) who is competitively-shod for her return to the track, and the more complicated KALYPSO DU CAUX (6) who opened her account in style late last month. Anthony Barrier gets the nod for the on-song KATE SPEED (11) who makes her ridden bow with justified ambition.

- MY QUALITA PIYA – Has not been seen out since faulting early in a Class C over course and distance late-August. Has bags of potential and can make a big splash if allowed to express herself
- MAGIC GIRL – Pulled-up early in a 2100m Class C over the inner course 2 weeks ago. Yet to show much aptitude and can be ruled out
- MARVINA BELLA – Sanctioned in last 2, most recently a 2850m Class D over the short course 3 weeks ago, and is unlikely to have many takers
- MARGAUX DES ARRIS – Sanctioned in last 2, latterly a 2100m Class C over the inner course a fortnight ago. Is not without potential but others still easier to trust
- MY SAVE QUICK – 2nd of 7 in a 2675m Class F at Le Mont-Saint-Michel on 17 November. Takes a notable step up in category but still has the quality to finish close
- MARIE JOSE LABELLE – Confirmed her potential when winning a 2000m Class F at La Capelle on debut 3.5 weeks ago. Takes her chances at a superior level but is unlikely to spring any surprises
- MAGDA DE VANDEL – Won on debut before being sanctioned early in a Class D over course and distance last week. Is clearly a progressive type and can win this if her driver assures her early strides
- MASTERCLASS D’EARL – Would have finished 6th of 9 had she not faulted in final stages of a Class D over course and distance last week, and must find more
- MIAMI DREAM – Got off the mark in a 2000m Saint-Galmier Class F 2.5 weeks ago. David Békaert stays faithful and will have her chances if she turns
- MISSY PERRINE – 10th of 11 finishers, behind MASTERCLASS D’EARL (9), in a 2850m Class D over the inner track 3 weeks ago. Will have come on for the return run and looks a more serious player on this occasion
- MAMMA MIA – Sanctioned at the start of a 2100m Class C over the inner course 2 weeks ago. Has the profile for the main track and must be afforded significant respect
Summary: Comfortable winner first time out, MAGDA DE VANDEL (8) lost her action here last week but has bags of ability and can more than make amends if Alexandre Abrivard gets her off on the right foot. MY QUALITA PIYA (2) has yet to finish a race unscathed but she has evident ability and will have a lot to contribute if she stays in stride from one end of the race to the other. Louis Baudron could not have hoped for a better entry for MAMMA MIA (12) and the engagement of Gabi Gelormini speaks volumes. Sanctioned as often as not, MIAMI DREAM (10) nevertheless won last time out and can certainly not be discounted.
