  7. BEDAIO – Colt by Van Beethoven, the dam won 1 race. Stable runners tend to need a run or two for experience. The betting can be the best guide
  8. NORTH ICE – Colt by Showcasing, the dam won 1 race over 1400m. Looks good on paper and is from a leading stable. A bold show can be expected on debut
    Summary: NORTH ICE (8) boasts a strong pedigree and will be well-prepared by his astute trainer. He looks capable of making a winning debut. His main threat could be SAIF AL LEITH (5), who brings valuable race experience, having shown promise in both starts, including a runner-up finish on debut at this track in June. CROOK (4) caught the eye when finishing sixth on debut at Deauville earlier this month and is expected to improve. BANKHOVSKI (2) is another worth keeping in mind.

  16. SHE’S CENTURION – Unraced filly by Dabirsim, the dam never ran. Stable runners warrant respect, and if there is any market interest, it should be noted
    Summary: PREMIERA (5) made a promising debut when finishing second in a newcomers’ race at this track in June. With natural improvement expected, she should play a leading role. BLACK SOLEA (4) is a potential danger after a solid fourth on debut at Lyon-Parilly and will benefit from the experience. VOLKONSKHA (3) has hit the frame in all three starts and represents a reliable each-way option. BAKLAWA (2) showed plenty of potential when runner-up at Vichy on her sole outing and heads the rest.

    Summary: In a wide-open handicap, GEORGES VILLE (11) appeals as a well-handicapped contender who ran a solid fourth at this track last month. He gets the tentative vote. SIYOUKING (12) bounced back to form with a win here in a Class 3 handicap in June and is expected to put up another bold showing. GET SET (16) arrives in good spirits following a victory at Chantilly and is likely to be in the mix. Both THUNDERSPEED (14) and MAROON SIX (15) are well treated at the weights and warrant serious consideration.

  41. GELINOTTE – She has won both of her races, the latest over 1200m at Madrid (ESP) in a conditions race on June 21st. Big step up in class, and she would be a surprise winner
    Summary: ULYMINE (1) made a winning debut and progressed further when finishing second in a Class 2 race at Chantilly on June 20th. With more improvement expected, he looks capable of landing this Listed contest. WOR FAAYTH (5) comes into the race in winning form after scoring over 1000m at Hamilton (UK) on her second start and rates as the main danger. STERNLE (8) impressed with a debut win over this track and trip in June and is not to be ignored. AGIOTA (3) is also worth considering.

IRON BIRD (10) was second in command in her last effort and brings some bold Group form into this race. She looks like the worthy vixen to give the top choice a run for the top spot. KAADI (6) was third in transit when meeting IRON BIRD (10) in their previous run and her form allows her to have a strong place chance. ILDA ROSA (4) can be the upset candidate of the pack.

KOVEL (6) is another that knows how to win races and it would be of no surprise if he repeats his last winning start. SOLDIER’S GOLD (7) is cherishing his racing thus far having won his last two starts and will possess every talent of his to reel off the hattrick win. FERRARI FEVER (1) is the only candidate in the race that brings Group III form and he poses as the Lurker of the squad.

    Summary: ROMAN FORUM (1) produced a respectable fifth in Class 1 company in his post maiden effort. He is lightly raced and meets a weaker field where he can showoff his capability. SEND WOOD (3) can be forgiven for her last two efforts when not running to the places and if up to the task here, she can certainly find herself earning a cheque again. SHUTTERWOOD (8) should not be discounted and deserves some serious consideration. DIAMANTINE (4) is in fine form of late and if the field is caught sleeping, she will be the ideal one to awaken them.

NO MORE (9) won on the grass and will need to show she is just as good on this surface.     Summary: MY KLY ERA (10) tries a mounted race for the first time after showing promise in harness races. The distance is no issue.     Summary: REDOUTABLE (2) is better than his last start at Saint-Cloud. He is a big runner if finding the form of his penultimate run when third. SUGAR DADDY (1) made the natural improvement when fourth on 4 July. He is coming along the right way and is one of the leading contenders. ASIF ALI (4) comes off a good second-place finish on 5 July. He is not far off notching up his first-career victory. GUA LIPA (10) is an unraced daughter of Cloth Of Stars. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to her chances.

  45. LEGAL EAGLE – Has not shone thus far, finished near last, last time at Dieppe and is hard to make a case for. Pass by
  46. STYLE DE MIMI – Surely has plenty scope to build on debut 7th at Vichy and could be the place value for the quartet. Include for place bets
  47. PASCAL’S PRIDE – Will need to build on recent 9th finish at Dieppe over 1400m and probably can. Include as the place value for the quartet
  48. AURORA BOREALIS – Fair form thus far, finished 6th at Dieppe on the 24th of May over 1400m and rates the one to beat. Win choice
  49. DUCKSFLYTOGETHER – Has shown zero in both starts and needs plenty improvement to feature in this. Best to ignore
  50. KOULIKORO – Placed 3rd at Les Sables over 1200m last time and is lightly raced. Should go close to getting it all right. Strong each way chance
  51. MARCIABAILA SPIGAO – Only managed a 7th place finish at Strasbourg over 1400m last time in a claimer and that is not appealing enough. Happy to ignore
  52. AGAINST ALL ODDS – Makes her local start, finished 3rd at Hanovre over 1400m on the 20th of last month and can run well today. Strong place claims
  53. BOBROVKHA – Ignore last two starts, was 2nd at Parislongchamp before that and has serious claims on that alone. Good chance
  54. ARDENZA – Finished 4th on debut but fluffed the effort at the second run when 8th over 1700m. Surely can serve up better than that today. Chance
  55. OUT OF THE BLUE – Is a son of Yafta out of a Orpen mare that might need a few runs to learn the trade. Happy to ignore this time
  56. YELLOW SOMEWHERE – Makes his debut and is out of a three time winning mare. Should need the run and further but check the markets before making final decisions
    Summary: AURORA BOREALIS (6) has had only a handful of races thus far and is showing some promise. His first two were good and the last two not so, but, nevertheless, has shown enough to win a race like this. His last race was at Dieppe. BREIZHY BOY (1) ran a good race last time when 3rd at Marseille Borely and can go very close to getting it all right. AGAINST ALL ODDS (10) makes the French debut and could threaten first time here. KOULIKORO (8) has a massive place chance.

  62. LOVE HER – Much better effort last time when 4th at Vittel over 1300m in Handicap class and can earn again. First four chance
  63. JUMANO – He is holding form, finished a creditable 2nd at Saint-Cloud on the 4th of this month and has strong winning claims. Leading runner
  64. ACREGATE – Long time maiden, been racing elsewhere and not successfully. Would be a shock if winning or placing. Hard to make a case for
  65. MILL LANE – Taking time to record the next win, finished 5th at Clairefontaine over 1600m last time and others will be way the stronger. Best to overlook
  66. ABRASSO – Holding form, finished 3rd at Chantilly over 1200m in a competitive Handicap on the 20th of this month and can go close. Strong each way chance
  67. PALIMERO – Comes into the race a winner on the 4th of July over 1400m at Saint-Cloud in a Handicap and can follow up. Bright chance
  68. TWO TWO TWO – Finished 13th last time but did manage a moderate 4th before that over 1100m in a Handicap at Dieppe. Prefer others and can be passed by
  69. BAWE ISLAND – Last time finished 12th, the time before that 12th and before that 10th. Is clearly battling and it is best to overlook this one
  70. GRACEHILL – Was victorious at Vitteaux over 2600m earlier this month and could follow up but others are chosen for the win. Place claims
    Summary: JUMANO (7) is knocking loudly at the door and making huge threats of winning his next race. He last ran at Saint-Cloud over 1400m and looks hard to oppose. KAKHOVKA (1) is a model of consistency and can be given very serious, strong each way claims. ABRASSO (10) is taking time for the next win but is holding form and can finish in the first three. Bright chance. PALIMERO (11) has a first four finish chance.

  73. MAYAMAR – Placed 4th at Cagnes-Sur-Mer over 2150m on the 25th of February and despite probably needing the run, can race fresh and well. Place chance
  74. TOUR DE MONDE – Will need to build on the two efforts that we have seen thus far and others should be way the stronger. Best to overlook
  75. FILLE DU HAVRE – Two good efforts, finished 3rd at Compiegne over 2800m on the 27th of June and can go close to winning. Strong winning chance
  76. DAME MEVANWI – She can build on debut 9th place at Dieppe over 2200m but will need to. Prefer others
  77. QUI EVIDAMENT QUI – Will need to do way more than last run when 13th at Parislongchamp and is hard to make a case for. Pass by
  78. ELLA GRANDE – A daughter of Moises Has out of a Muhtathir mare that might need the run first up and it is wise to check the market trends as race time looms
    Summary: FILLE DU HAVRE (5) has shown in both runs thus far that she has some ability and should win very soon, if not today. IKKO (2) is steadily progressing with racing and has finished 2nd in his last two and he will be a huge danger to the first suggestion. NOW THE EAGLE (1) has posted one good run from three starts and surely has more to offer. Respect and include for all bets. MAYAMAR (3) is a natural inclusion in the quartet and in fact, all bets.
