Confirmed runners and riders for the King George Stakes on day four ofGlorious Goodwood

Asfoora will face 13 rivals when she bids to avenge last year’s narrow defeat in the King George Qatar Stakes (3.05) on day four of Glorious Goodwood.
The popular Australian mare was beaten a short head by Big Evs in the Friday highlight last year after winning the King Charles III Stakes, and is back for more after finishing fifth in that Royal Ascot contest last month.
She will once again be ridden by Oisin Murphy and unlike last year does not have to carry a penalty in the 5f Group 2.
Big Evs’s connections Mick Appleby, RP Racing and Tom Marquand will be represented by Big Mojo this time. He drops back in trip after finishing second in the July Cup last time.
King Charles III runner-up Frost At Dawn renews rivalry with Asfoora, while added Group 1 spice comes from Time For Sandals. The Commonwealth Cup heroine will once again be partnered by Richard Kingscote.Get It will also bid for more big-race Glorious Goodwood glory and steps up significantly in class. The seven-year-old won the Wokingham Stakes last month and also landed the Stewards’ Cup a year ago.
A maximum field of 20 is set to run in the Coral Golden Mile (2.30) with Skukuza and Greek Order among the leading contenders for the ultra-competitive handicap.
Opera Ballo will face five rivals as he bids to continue his upward curve in the Bonhams Thoroughbred Stakes (1.55).
The Godolphin-owned three-year-old has scored in Listed company the last twice and steps up to Group 3 level and faces a high-class clash against Cosmic Year.
He must bounce back from a poor run in the Prix Jean Prat last time, but previously finished runner-up to Field Of Gold in the Irish 2,000 Guineas.
