  9. EDEN ROC – Dam was unraced and this son of Lope De Vega is one to monitor on debut. Trainer has got a 17% strike rate this season
  10. IRON TRIUMPH – Dam was unraced and this colt could be of interest on debut should there be any market confidence. Watch the market
  11. STRATEGE – Dam won over 2100m and this son of Siyouni makes appeal on paper and could go well. Trainer is operating at a 19% win strike rate this year
    Summary: STRATEGE (11) hails from a yard that know how to get them ready on debut and on his pedigree alone, he makes quite a lot of appeal so needs to be respected. POWAI (7) ran in quite a strong race on debut and would have learnt plenty from that experience which will hold him in good stead. GREEN FALCON (1) produced a useful run on debut and should have more to offer. EDEN ROC (9) gets the services of Mikael Barzalona which pricks the ears and he must be watched on debut.

  19. LITTLE HAVANA – Dam won twice over 1800m/2000m and this filly gets the services of top rider Mikael Barzalona. Trainer is operating at a 17.5% win strike rate this year
  20. SAGARMATHA – Dam won on debut over 1900m and this filly could just need a run to tighten up. Market will be out best guide
  21. DEBROUILLARDE – Dam won four times from 1600m – 2000m and this filly is one to keep an eye on. Appears to be the second elect from the yard
  22. JAMAICA BAY – Nicely bred daughter of Frankel who hails from a yard that can get them ready to strike on debut. Trainer is operating at a 19% win strike rate this year
  23. MLLE ELVIRE – Dam was unraced and this filly hails from a yard that are capable of getting them ready on debut. Trainer has had 24 winners this season
    Summary: HELLO AVENUE (2) brings the best form to the table from those who have run before and with that experience under the belt, she rates the one to beat. LITTLE HAVANA (8) catches the eye on paper and she could be forward enough to produce a big challenge on debut. JAMAICA BAY (11) ticks a lot of boxes and is likely to know the business on debut. She needs to be followed carefully. DEBROUILLARDE (10) isn’t without a chance on debut and is a filly that could be worth keeping an eye on.

    Summary: SILHAM (12) is a filly that just continues to improve with racing and won a good race last time out despite it being a small field. She should take a significant step forward and can be anything here. DOURIANN (10) just found one too good last time out and with Mickael Barzalona in the irons again, he could go one better. HARRY WAY (4) has been running against a bit stronger so appears to be ideally poised to make his presence felt in a big way here. DOLLAR INDEX (2) showed up nicely last time out and a repeat effort, could see him being competitive. SOUS LA NEIGE (3) hasn’t been far off them in recent outings and should be involved at the finish.

    Summary: LE COMBAT CONTINUE (7) has been an absolute model of consistency and is overdue a win at this level. She should mount a strong challenge. EUBOA (10) has run in some stronger races and looks to be finally getting closer to a another win. JORDANELLA (3) is back up in trip which should see him producing a strong finish and needs to be respected. AQUA AUGUSTA (8) hasn’t been disgraced at his last two and will have a say in the outcome.

    Summary: EL KRAKEN (8) showed big improvement on his overall form last time out and with a repeat effort, he could well go one better. NIIA (6) was just behind the top choice last time out and they meet on the exact same weight terms so the form is likely to stay the same. She should have a say in the outcome nonetheless. CIACCINO (14) improved last time out and if building on that effort with a light weight, he can earn. IMAYA (15) produced a good finish at her most recent outing and a similar efforts is on the card.

STUNNING HERO (2) has been improving all the while and looks just about ready to shed his maiden tag. ROLEXXA (5) ran with plenty of credit last time out and with a repeat performance, she should be in the firing line. CAMBREMER (3) finished off her race nicely two starts back and if in the same heart, then she can threaten.

  90. FIRST LOOK – Third in a Condition race at ParisLongchamp over 1850m on 13 April. Brings class into the race and should make a bold bid in this line-up
  91. ZABEEL LIGHT – Well beaten 8th in a Condition race at Newcastle over 2100m on 20 July, Capable of better but others make more appeal
  92. GOLDEN OCEAN – Fifth in a Group 3 at Newcastle over 2040m on 27 June. Not disgraced that day but this is a tougher ask
    Summary: Runner-up in the Prix du Jockey-Club last year, FIRST LOOK (9) has not performed to expectations this season but finds here a great spot to redeem himself. A game second in the Listed Grand Prix de Bordeaux, CLIMATE CHANGE (4) could be the main threat to the selection if he is in the same form. COMME QUOI (7) is an interesting contender if he can recapture his winter’s form. BEVAN (2) is effective in this division and cannot be excluded of the equation.

    Summary: POLITE (2) improved plenty from the comeback run at Chantilly to score at Saint-Malo just over a week ago. He surely has more to offer and can follow up. SOEUR (6) is currently going through a purple patch and could make a big impact on her first run in a handicap. SOKNA (15) showed signs of a return to form at Compiègne and could be a serious contender if she can build up on that effort. WINDBURN (12) ran with promise on her first attempt in a handicap and is another one for the shortlist.

    Summary: Decidedly capricious under harness, LEMON FLEURY (7) has nevertheless shown significant ability and even though shod, can make his ridden bow a winning one. LABEL DE TILLARD (9) is not the easiest to handle either but he goes barefoot for his first objective of the summer and can make a big impact if Romain Marty keeps him focused.     Summary: MOUFFETARD (3) has progressed for each run since his debut elimination and makes his metropolitan bow with every chance of pulling off the 4-timer. MAESTRO DU CHOQUEL (1) however, has gone from strength to strength and last month’s 2150m victory here will stand him in good stead. MIKADO GEDE (7) lost his maiden status here in late-June and even though stepping up in category still has a good hand to play. MAXOU DES IFS (6) is not about to get off the mark but a repeat of his Bernay effort would see him pick up another cheque.

    Summary: Winner of 2 of her last 3, KATCHINA FOR CLARA (11) imposed so well at Feurs that it is hard to see her being beaten here. 169/1 winner under harness at Cabourg before continuing her conditioning here recently, KIDY D’EPONA (7) is back in her code of preference, sporting a fresh configuration, and with application should represent the main threat. KOUSINE MAJYC (1) gets another crack at the ridden code after an excellent session under harness and the revised formula should only help matters. Better than his recent effort would suggest, KILL AND KISS (10) will be more competitive at this level.

    Summary: Surprisingly beaten at La Capelle when expected to complete the hat-trick, KANSAS QUESNOT (10) is nevertheless in the form of his life and can wrap this up if he takes to the new conditions. That being said, KARMA TEJY (4) and KING FROMENTRO (9) ran respectively 2nd and 3rd here last month and both look competitive once more. KOPA D’ARC (3) has not been as sharp as he was during the spring but Nicolas Bridault has fitted him with pads for the first time which should see him back in business.

    Summary: In excellent condition and eye-catching here 3 weeks ago, JAMAIS (7) is easy to fancy for the win this time. JANNIG D’EREVAN (4) followed him in that day and, given his form, should again figure prominently, as should the well-engaged JERICHO DU RIB (10) who has proved dynamic when barefoot. JERICHO VEDAQUAIS (5) is like a horse reborn and should take well to Enghien conditions.

    Summary: Very unlucky here last month, LE MIRACLE (7) has nevertheless been on a fine run of form and can put things right if Paul Ploquin keeps him out of trouble. He will still be keeping a keen eye on the better-placed LEGOLAS (5) who steps up in category with a legitimate chance of securing the 3-timer. Barring a May blip, L’AMIRAL TURGOT (8) is very hard to knock and although taking on better here, still looks a serious proposition. Thierry Duvaldestin doesn’t run his returning horses unprepared and the classy MACK DE BLARY (7) should have a realistic chance of finishing close. MONZON NORMAND (8) may not be as sharp as his stablemate but he left a good impression over a mile here recently and should have the capacity to get in on the action.     Summary: Gr.1 Prix Ourasi winner FRANK GIO (11) put on quite the show here a fortnight ago and, given his form and his love for Enghien, he looks set to take all the beating. Not the most fortunate that day, LEARN TO FLY (7) is plainly in fine shape and won his only start under these conditions. Sent for a short spell after winning the Gr.2 Prix Jules Thibault across town, LANCIER DU GOUTIER (3) runs shod this time but has the class to reserve himself a step on the podium. LOULOU DE MYE (8) put in a fine effort behind Matthieu Abrivard’s colt last month and even though reconfigured can still challenge for a place in the frame.

    Summary: ADA THORNE (7) was a tad below par on her last run, but made a pleasing debut at Saint-Cloud when she was fourth in late May. She is best judged on that run and can get the better of the nicely bred newcomer, MALINE DE MEE (13), who is from a good stable and can be expected to give a good account on debut. KING OF EYLAU (2) has plenty of experience and looks like an option each way. ULTRASPI (5) showed promise on debut at Chateaubriant early last month and can progress from that run.

  57. LOUVE D’ENFER – Unreliable and finished 4th in Class D at Biarritz over 2950m on 24 July. Might play a minor role at best
  58. LUPIN DE LA VALLEE – In good shape and finished 3rd in Class E at this track over 2150m on 25 June. Yet to win a race but could make the frame
  59. LEGENDE DU BUGEY – Disqualified twice in a row, the latest at Feurs over 2100m on 4 July. Needs to find a few lengths to win
  60. LOLA DU VAL – Much improved last run when 3rd in Class E at this track over 2950m on 14 June. Better under the saddle and others are preferred
  61. LA BELLE AFFAIRE – Much improved last year and was runner-up in Class E at Saint-Galmier over 2650m on 22 July. Could play a minor role
  62. LATINO – Unreliable but finished 3rd in Class F at this track over 2950m on 2 July. Capable of winning if in the right mood
  63. LOU GEHRIG – Not disgraced when 4th in a Class E Multi-Harness race at Vincennes over 2700m on 26 February. Returns from a break but does have a winning chance on best form
  64. LABEL MESS – Disqualified at this track over 2150m on 5 July, Had some nice wins before that and can bounce back to score
  65. LAPON DE BERTRANGE – Disqualified at Saint-Galmier on 22 July. Had some fair form before that and could earn some money if wise
  66. LOLITA DE JEMAX – Has major disqualification issues and was disqualified at Saint-Galmier on 22 July. Hard to trust and others make more appeal
  67. LAMPEE DES GOUJONS – Has some good recent form and finished 3rd in Class E at Lignières over 2775m on 13 July. Has a place chance in this line-up
    Summary: LABEL MESS (13) is a smart trotter and can easily be forgiven his last run when sanctioned at this very same track. He is on a redemption mission and gets the vote to score. LOU GEHRIG (12) returns from a five months break but is well spoken and must be hugely respected. LATINO (11) can prove a handful but he is a nice horse when applied and cannot be discounted. LILY DE CHICHEVET (1) has shown progress since racing barefoot and is worth a good look in.

  69. MY MILLION ATOUT – Improving and was runner-up in Class E at Le Mont-Saint-Michel over 2675m on 16 July. Be right there at the finish once again
  70. MALONG – Has really struggled of late and was 11th in Class E at Aix-les-Bains over 2700m on 29 July. Needs major improvement to win
  71. MAREVA – Only modest of late and was 7th in Class E at this track over 2800m on 5 July. More is needed to win this race
  72. MEGINO – Disqualified last time out at Les Sables-d’Olonne over 2650m on 12 July. Had good form before that and should be involved with this finish if wise
  73. MOKY BERRY – Knocking hard at the door and was runner-up in Class E at this track over 2950m on 1 July. Can contest the finish dropped in distance
  74. MARIUS DE FEUGERES – Has disqualification issues and faulted last time out at this track over 2800m on 5 July. Hard to trust but can earn some money when wise
  75. MARAVILLA DU METZ – Unbeaten in two starts, with the latest win in Class F at Castillonnès over 2450m on 8 May. Can complete the hat-trick this shorter distance
    Summary: MARAVILLA DU METZ (8) impressed when winning on her comeback run and must be capable of making it three in a row despite the rise in grade. MY MILLION ATOUT (2) was runner-up behind a well-regarded horse at Le Mont-Saint-Michel and in similar form will have his chances. MEGINO (5) can be forgiven his last below-par effort and has leading claims on his earlier form. MOKY BERRY (6) keeps running well and cannot be excluded of the equation.
