LAZONE MOME (1) could be the one that makes the selection work hard for the win. Her last effort at Auteuil when fifth last month was in a strong Class 2 chase. COCOTTE ROYALE (7) is a capabale performer and looks like a decent option each way. EXCELLENT DRAGO (10) heads the rest.

- LUNA LUPA – 8th on the one run this year over 3550m in a claiming hurdle on November 6th at Fontainebleau. Others make more sense
Summary: MADEMOISELLE MIA (7) could be the most likely winner. She was a decent second two runs back at Fontainebleau in a claiming hurdle at Fontainebleau in early November. L’OREE DES BLAISES (8) looks like the main danger. A fourth at Nimes in a claiming hurdle in mid-November last time out was encouraging. LOTUS BLEU (3) has consistent form and looks like the each way must. PORZMAN (10) is also worth considering.

- SCARLETTS DYNASTY – Three unplaced runs, the latter at Fontainebleau in a Class 4 handicap on November 19th over 3550m. Consider each way
Summary: ZAYED THE GREAT (4) has improved with race experience and was a pleasing fourth in a Listed chase at Compiegne when last seen in late October. This looks like a good opportunity to get off the mark. LADY ZAZA (10) looks like the main danger after showing promise over hurdles. She has been highly tried in decent hurdles on her last two starts, and remains capable of being involved. WOODS (1) can make the top three despite top weight. FANFARON (12) looks best of the rest.

LA MÔME (13) has been absent since 2021 but will be expected to be fit and has the talent to be competitive. BY EXETER (1) ran well when fourth in a handicap hurdle at Lyon-Parilly in late November and deserves respect. Summary: CHES DEMONMIRAIL (1) ran a solid race at this track when second in a Class 1 chase 8 days ago and is capable of going one place better this time. REVE DE PRINCE (2) was also second at this track 8 days ago in a chase and looks like the main threat. JEANNE DE GUYE (11) has been consistent recently and deserves to get another success. C1 – PRIX DE SAINT-MALO – 2100m (a1m1/4) – Class G Amateur Drivers – Harness – EUR € 12,000
- INDYDARCHE – In the frame in 2 of last 3, latterly 3rd in a Mauquenchy Class G late last month. Is confirmed in the amateur division and looks capable of challenging for a place in the picture
- JET GIRL – Hardy element taking first steps in the amateur category after a much-needed return run. Has never delivered at Vincennes but is better than most here and can figure prominently if she stays in stride
- ILOULOU JASMA – Outgunned in Coupe des Amateurs in early-November but showed improvement when 5th, a place behind ICARE DU FAOUET (12), in a Mauquenchy amateurs Class G 2 weeks ago. Not a priority, and sports 4 pads this time, but can still make first 5
- ICONE DU GARDEN – Enjoys a good spot behind the car but has picked up this term where she left off in August and can be passed over
- JACKPOT D’ORGUEIL – Found the going tough against the best in the amateur business here on 20 November. Thrives over 2100m of the main track and from the 5-spot is easy to fancy for the win
- HIVAROSA DU BOCAGE – Has been excelling in both amateur and professional ranks, most recently 3rd of 16 in an amateurs Class G at Agen on 16 November. Is well-positioned on the front line and has the wherewithal to bring the fight to JACKPOT D’ORGUEIL (5)
- IRVING DE BAILLY – Starts for just the 2nd time in the amateur division, but has looked decidedly ordinary this year and will have few friends
- HUNICOIS – Back under harness after a failed attempt in the other code. Boasts excellent amateur credentials though and despite a wide draw can still play an important role
- JULIANO DELTO – Makes just 2nd appearance in the amateur category after having won under the saddle at Graignes 3 weeks ago. Shoes fitted this time and is unlikely to influence the result
- HERMES DE L’ISAC – Has been an absolute write-off at all levels for some time and has no realistic chance
- HEROS DE BANVILLE – Produced a pair of respectable efforts before disappointing in an amateurs Class G at Meslay-du-Maine on 16 November. Has no love for the Vincennes main track though and others easier to support
- ICARE DU FAOUET – Ran reassuring 4th in a Mauquenchy amateurs Class G 2 weeks ago. Forced to start on 2nd line but, with form maintained, can play a part in the outcome
- JANIS SHOW – Returns to the amateur division after finishing last but one in a 2850m Class E here last Sunday and can be confidently disregarded
- ILLICO DES BROUETS – In the frame in 2 of last 3, most recently 2nd in a Mauquenchy amateurs Class G 2.5 weeks ago. Handed a tough draw though and a minor place chance at best
Summary: Back at a more reasonable level after facing some tough individuals in the Grand National des Amateurs late last month, JACKPOT D’ORGUEIL (5) has been reconfigured, enjoys a good spot behind the car, and in the hands of Piet Van Pollaert can impose this time. He will be unsurprisingly wary though of HIVAROSA DU BOCAGE (6) who has hardly put a foot wrong since the summer, and the well-placed JET GIRL (2) who is barefoot for her first objective of the meeting. Already an amateur winner this year, INDYDARCHE (1) returns to the category in excellent form, sports a new formula, and must be considered a player.

C2 – PRIX DE LANGON – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class F – Mounted – EUR € 31,000 - LUIGI DU CLOS – Showed signs of encouragement at Graignes but failed to deliver at Meslay-du-Maine 2.5 weeks ago and others easier to trust
- LOL DESBOIS – Opened his account at Lisieux on 1 November but failed to confirm 3 weeks later when eliminated in a Meslay-du-Maine Class F. Is plainly in form though and even though stepping up in category is still worth keeping an eye on
- LANCELOT MADRIK – Last but one when given his monte introduction at Auch a month back. Will be barefoot this time and, considering the potential he has shown in the other code, can play a prominent part
- LENOTRE DE HOUELLE – Tricky but capable individual making first monte start since imposing at Vichy in May 2024. Is competitively-shod for the first time and will be reunited with Adrien Lamy. Attention
- LOTUS BLEU – Sent for a spell after losing his maiden status in early-September. Has one race under his belt since but has no left-handed references and others easier to back
- LYNX DU LUPIN – Very disappointing over recent months, latterly trounced at Mauquenchy, and even a change of shoeing will not be enough
- LIBERO DE LOU – Takes to the monte discipline for just the 2nd time after finishing surprising 2nd in a Lyon-Parilly harness Class F late last month, but is not about to cause an upset
- LUIGI KALOUMA – Runner-up twice before coming 6th behind LEO DES PIECES (10) in a 2825m Cordemais Class F 2.5 weeks ago and, barefoot or not, will need to find more
- LAGON DU DEZERT – Back under the saddle after a pair of harness conditioners at Cherbourg. Has placed just once in 4 monte starts and even though reconfigured, still looks an outsider
- LEO DES PIECES – Improved on Pornichet performance when 2nd in a 2825m Cordemais Class F 2.5 weeks ago. A repeat, however, seems unlikely
- LILBERT DU CHENAIS – Honest element switching code for first time. Has fine references under harness, sports a fresh formula, and looks competitively well in
- L’ULTIME D’AXEL – Opened his account at Challans prior to running 3rd, a place behind LEO DES PIECES (10), in a 2825m Cordemais Class F 2.5 weeks ago, and has the wherewithal to make the frame once more
- LASER SEDUISANT – Put in quite the showing when winning a 2725m Pornichet Class F in late-October. Has had ample time to get back in shape and looks main threat to LE TRESOR KRAAILO (15)
- LUCKY D’AVAL – Heavily-campaigned sort that was eliminated on first and only ridden start. Appears to be in shape though, sports a new configuration, and with Paul Ploquin in the irons, will be afforded every chance
- LE TRESOR KRAAILO – Won a 2850m Mauquenchy Class F unopposed late last month. Is plainly destined for better things in this branch of the business and has every chance of doubling up
- LE VENT DU HOULET – Back in his code of preference following a pair of harness conditioners. Is difficult to knock when focused and will be partnered by Victor Saussaye this time
- LOUSTIC DES MACE – Handy sort that finished last but one, on comeback, in a Class E over course and distance in mid-December. Sports pads this time and will have nothing to offer
Summary: LE TRESOR KRAAILO (15) has done well since coming to France and most recently opened his monte account in fine fashion. He may have no Vincennes references but can nevertheless make this his own if he takes to the new conditions. LASER SEDUISANT (13) imposed for the first time under the saddle in late-October and clearly has a lot more to give. L’ULTIME D’AXEL (12) lost his maiden tag 2 months ago and proved his left-handed credentials at Cordemais. Nicely-engaged here, LE VENT DU HOULET (16) will be shod to preference for his first goal of the winter and with application should not disappoint.

C3 – PRIX DU BERRY – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class E Amateur Riders – Harness – EUR € 37,000 - JALNA GIRL – Pleasantly surprising 3rd of 14 in a Class E over course and distance a month ago, but takes on the boys this time and chances limited
- JASONDOR DU VINOIS – Dynamic sort returning to the capital in excellent shape. Faces a much stiffer test this time but should nevertheless hold his own
- JOIE D’AMOUR – Capable sort that packs the occasional punch but failed to deliver at Caen in mid-November and has never produced the goods over 2700m here
- JALMAROSA – Unremarkable mare that looked very ordinary when eliminated at Mauquenchy 3 weeks ago and can expect to have few takers
- JERONIMO DU CAUX – Placed twice going left-handed before running unexceptional 6th in a Caen Class E in mid-November. Is no particular fan of Vincennes conditions and can be passed over
- JOKER DE BELLOU – Starts for the first time since running 5th in an amateurs Class G on turf last September. Barefoot for re-entry but still has nothing to offer
- JUBY DE BAILLY – Has made no impact on the track for some time and is not about to change his ways. Disregard
- JAIFA DE L’ITON – Highly-consistent mare that left a good impression at Le Croisé-Laroche on re-entry in late-October. Has never disappointed in the day’s configuration and makes her Vincennes debut with legitimate ambition. First 5
- JOLVIK DE GUEZ – Back under harness after failing to deliver in a monte Class D over course and distance a fortnight ago. Is plainly in form though, races first-time barefoot, and should not be underestimated
- JOURUNTOME – Excellent servant with an enviable strike-rate. Unraced since July but will be barefoot for the occasion and can get straight down to business. Chance
- JET NONANTAIS – Returns to conditions he appreciates after prepping for this at Argentan. Seldom lets the side down when given the opportunity and is in with a realistic chance of opening his winter account
- JOYEUX NONNA – Showed marked improvement when close 2nd in a Mauquenchy Class F 9 days ago. Is no slouch over 2700m here and, competitively-shod, can contest the finish once again
- JADE – Has so far failed to impress this term, latterly well-beaten at Mauquenchy. Benefits from a fine entry though and is not incapable of getting a look in
- JUPITER FRANCE – Excellent servant facing first objective of the winter after a pair of Laval fresheners. Is as game as they come, trainer could not have wished for a better entry, and with application is unlikely to disappoint
Summary: Runner-up twice in 3 starts under these conditions, JET NONANTAIS (11) returns to running barefoot following his Argentan conditioner and clearly has the capability to win a race of this nature. He will still meet resistance from the wonderfully-consistent, and barefoot, JOURUNTOME (10) who makes his first start since July, and JOYEUX NONNA (12) who did not miss out by much at Mauquenchy last week. The well-engaged JUPITER FRANCE (14) will be fit by now, is confirmed here, and will be in competition-mode this time.

C4 – PRIX DU GRAND FOUGERAY – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class E – Mounted – EUR € 41,000 - JUST ME NESLE – Undeniably talented but lost his action in a 3000m Nantes Class F 10 days ago. May need another run but it will not be long before he comes good again. Monitor
- JULIENAS DE VRIE – Gave a good account to run 4th behind JACANA DE BLARY (11) in a Class E over track and trip in mid-November. Adrien Lamy won with him here last season and can be confident of another good performance
- JEDEO DES VAUX – Has shown improvement since being reconfigured, most recently running 2nd in a 2650m Bordeaux Class E a month back. Is not about to win this but can still pick up some prizemoney
- JURASSIC MOIRE – Has taken well to his new vocation, winning 2 before running 5th to JACAR DE LA DIVES (9) in a Mauquenchy Class F 2.5 weeks ago, but in this company will have little to contribute
- JAFF DE MESLAY – In the frame in last 2 starts under these conditions, latterly 3rd of 14 in a Class D a fortnight ago. Is clearly close to his race but may have to settle for a place cheque once more
- JIPEBE – Put a trio of eliminations behind him to come 3rd to JACAR DE LA DIVES (9) in a Mauquenchy Class F 2.5 weeks ago, but will struggle to repeat
- JACKPOT DE JUMILLY – Got back in the game at Le Mont-Saint-Michel early last month when 2nd in a 2675m Class F. 4 pads fitted this time but is still taking on too much
- JUPITER DU PERCHE – Got back in the winners’ circle after winning under harness at Mons. Is barefoot for return to a code he appreciates, has references here, and while not a priority should not be written off either
- JACAR DE LA DIVES – Won a Mauquenchy Class F prior to coming 4th to JACANA DE BLARY (11) in a Class E at the same venue last week. Has ground to make up though and looks a minor place chance at best
- JADORE D’ISQUES – Back under the saddle after failing to deliver under harness here on 17 November. Runs for reasons of conditioning and can be passed over
- JACANA DE BLARY – Showed she was back at the top of her game when comfortably winning a 2850m Mauquenchy Class E on 2 December, and is not incapable of confirming
- JANTARA DESBOIS – Back under the saddle after being conditioned under harness at Agen just over 3 weeks ago. Should not be condemned for Saint-Galmier run and the presence of Mathieu Mottier should help to put things right. Chance
- JACK SURPRISE – Has demonstrated decent aptitude for the discipline, and goes barefoot for the first time under the saddle, but still has limited prospects
- JULLOU – Has raced just twice under the saddle, winning at the first time of asking for Eric Raffin over 2175m here last season. Is reunited with his jockey, will be shod as he was that day, and represents a decent first-5 prospect
- JIROBELLO – Not as sharp as he once was, unplaced in last 3. Alexandre Abrivard in the bike but can still be ruled out
- JAMBIER – Surprise 4th of 15 in a 2100m harness Class D here 2 weeks ago. Reliability not his strong suit but with form maintained can make his presence felt
Summary: JULIENAS DE VRIE (2) spent 15 months on the sidelines but showed here last month that he is clearly back on track. JACANA DE BLARY (11) ran 2nd to his 4th that day, went on to win at Mauquenchy last week, and again looks the principal danger. 3rd placed JAFF DE MESLAY (5) went on to repeat 12 days later and should again figure prominently, but may first have to see off JANTARA DESBOIS (12) who will be expected to put her Saint-Galmier blip behind her.

C5 – PRIX DE LUSSAC – 2175m (a1m1/4) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 35,000 - LEOLIO – Modest individual that has done little of note for some time and is not about to spring a surprise
- LIL BOSS ONLY – Imposed at Angers before stepping up in category and running 4th of 16 in a Class F at Le Croise-Laroche on 24 November. Is new to Vincennes, and arguably better racing clockwise, but with Franck Nivard reining will be afforded every chance
- LINO DU POMMEREUX – Unexceptional sort that has failed to make any impact for some months and will have few friends in the markets
- LOOK HAPPY – Progressive element that was quickly eliminated in a Mauquenchy Class E last week. Has talent in spades though and will not be far off the mark if his driver assures his initial strides
- LEADER DE L’AUMOY – Ran 3rd at Saint-Brieuc but lost his action at Mauquenchy next time. Is plainly in form but is never far from faulting and was eliminated on both Vincennes starts
- LOOKING FEEL – Secured his first victory of the winter when comfortably winning an Amiens Class F on 26 November. Is new to the capital but is still improving and can wrap this up
- LEAD ME ON – In the frame in 3 of last 4 starts, latterly 3rd in a Mauquenchy Class E on 2 December. Steps up in category, and makes Vincennes bow, but should not be entirely overlooked
- LEON – Quality trotter but has not been seen out since March and will be race-rusty
- LOOK QALI – Quality colt with a race under his belt following his summer holidays. Consistently in the thick of things when focused and should be taken seriously
- LUXOR D’ECAJEUL – Makes just 2nd appearance over the main track, and first of the winter. Has 3 runs under his belt and Paul Ploquin stays faithful. Chance
- LE BOSS DANOVER – Still a maiden but has nothing to prove at this level. Has a race in him since the layoff, will be barefoot, and should be in a position to play an active role
- L’EXPRESS DE PLAY – Capable sort that has never disappointed over the main track. Held his own here in late-October, returns fresh, and can again make first 5
- LUCKY PORT – Erratic gelding but is not devoid of ability. Pleased over 2700m here on 24 November and even with shoes fitted can still get in on the action
- LOOK AT ME D’AIRZA – Nicely-entered type that had been on a fine run of form until disappointing here in late-October. Is in superior company once again and can be ruled out
Summary: A tough nut to crack when barefoot and focused, LOOKING FEEL (6) showed good speed when imposing at Amiens late last month and will be justifiably well-backed for a repeat. David Thomain will still be mindful of LUXOR D’ECAJEUL (10) who should appreciate this particular trip, and the good LE BOSS DANOVER (11) who goes barefoot after a much-needed conditioner in the provinces. LOOK HAPPY (4) lost his action early in his last 2 but can more than make amends if Alexandre Bodin gets him off on the right foot.

- MENTOR DE PLAY – Ran 4th of 9 in a 2850m Gr.3 here on 30 November. Is unlikely to be sent out at 104-1 this time, but is unlikely to be as competitive either
- MAESTRO JAMINI – 3rd in a Class A under these conditions only to subsequently lose it after a positive test. Is reunited with David Thomain for whom he has already won, and is not to be underestimated
- MISTRAL DU BOIS – Well-regarded but is capricious and has yet to get off the mark. Showed his form after being eliminated over course and distance late last month and with application can challenge for a spot on the podium
- MEA CULPA – Surprise 4th of 7 finishers, a place behind MELOMANE DE LOU (6), in a Class B over track and trip late last month. Confirmation, however, seems improbable
- MELOMANE DE LOU – Can prove a handful but has done nothing but improve lately, latterly 3rd of 11 in a Class B over course and distance on 29 November. Is close to winning another and will be no soft touch
- MARADONA ELLIS – Failed to confirm Mauquenchy success when 7th of 9 behind MENTOR DE PLAY (2) in a 2850m Gr.3 here on 30 November. Takes a dip in category though and can get in on the action if focused
- MIRAKALU MANAZIF – Good, consistent type that keeps progressing. Held his own in good company here on 21 November and Benjamin Rochard can be legitimately bullish about repeating
- MORE AND MORE – Well-engaged colt returning to Paris after coming 3rd in a Marseille-Borely Class A on 14 November. Has never delivered at Vincennes but is clearly in form and will generate some interest
- MISTER CHARLY – Has taken his game to a new level since returning to competition. Has yet to break his Vincennes duck but in current form it will not be long
Summary: Winner over 2100m here in early-October before running 3rd in a Class A under these conditions 3 weeks ago, MIRAKALU MANAZIF (8) drops back in category and can expect the lion’s share of support. The better-engaged MISTER CHARLY (10) finished a place behind him on both occasions and should again figure prominently, but he may first have to see off MELOMANE DE LOU (6) whose recent form has been particularly encouraging. Eliminated behind him last time, MISTRAL DU BOIS (4) can get in on the action if Eric Raffin keeps him focused.

C7 – PRIX DES ALISIERS – 2850m (a2m) – Class C – Harness – EUR € 38,000 - NICE SPEED – Eliminated in both starts to date and in this company is not about to paint the town red
- NIOKY DE BAILLY – Qualified well in early-November but was unexceptional first time out, running 5th of 12 in a 2100m Lyon-Parilly Class F 3 weeks later, and others preferred
- NORTON ELCE – Met no opposition en route to victory in a 2200m Class F at La Capelle a month ago, first time out. Has had ample time to recover and Alexandre Abrivard will be eager to keep his colt’s unbeaten record intact
- NOT THIS TIME – Serious colt that made very short work of a 2300m Chartres Class F on debut late last month and should again take all the beating
- NICE TO SEE YOU – Disappointing in 2 after imposing at Cordemais in early-October and is biting off more than he can chew once again
- NIKO DE TIMBOEUF – In the frame in last 2, most recently 3rd in a Chateaubriant Class E late last month. Faces a harder challenge on this occasion but is a generous colt and worth keeping an eye on
- NEWTON DE CORS – Afforded bags of time to recover after running 2nd to a very good colt on debut over 2200m here on 28 October. Will have progressed for the race and can again go close
- NEBBIO DU LIAMONE – In the frame in first 2 before finishing last but one in a 2700m Class D over the main track a week ago, and is unlikely to influence the result
- NAOS DES MARETTES – Significantly better than recent numbers would suggest. Has a race under his belt and over the inner course has a better chance of staying in stride. First 5
- NEMROD BUROIS – Disappointing in both starts over the inner track, most recently eliminated in a 2200m Class B. Drops marginally in category but still not a priority
- NICKNAME – Good element that should not be condemned for recent elimination. Form is not in question and Mathieu Mottier will be mindful to keep him focused. Claim
- NEMOS DU GOUTIER – Ran 2nd over course and distance before losing his action over the main track on 29 November. David Thomain reining this time and can figure prominently if he keeps his colt trotting
Summary: After having impressed in qualification at Grosbois early last month, NOT THIS TIME (4) went on to dominate first time out and is patently a colt for the future. Arrogance is not one of Eric Raffin’s traits though and he will be respecting NEWTON DE CORS (7) whose late-October debut did not go unnoticed, and NICKNAME (11) who would have finished close here last month had he stayed trotting. NORTON ELCE (3) showed how well he had come on since his May qualification when trouncing the field at La Capelle, and merits considerable attention.

C8 – PRIX DE MARANS – 2200m (a1m1/2) – Class E – Mounted – EUR € 35,000 - MALAVITA RULES – Unexceptional filly that was eliminated at Chateaubriant late last month and in this category has no realistic chance
- MODIG VIKING – Makes first appearance under the saddle after 3 honest harness efforts. Is unlikely to take Vincennes by storm but should nonetheless give an honourable account
- MYRCIA – Gave a fine account on ridden debut late last month when 3rd of 14 in a Chateaubriant Class F. In tougher company this time and not a concern
- MY FAIR LADY – Capricious filly that encouraged under harness at Graignes late last month. Damien Bonne aboard for monte debut but others still easier to trust
- MEA MARIS – Takes to the discipline for the first time after pleasing under harness. Top jockey aboard and is not incapable of winning this
- MANA TEJY – Eliminated more often than not but has ability all the same. Proved herself over the main track last month and the change of course may be just what the doctor ordered
- MADO – Sprang a 135-1 surprise when 2nd of 16 in a Cabourg Class E last Saturday, however a repeat seems most unlikely
- MARQUISE DE FAEL – Good future prospect making first appearance since July. Trainer currently 6th in the trainers’ title and for good reason. Attention
- MA BIMBO – Twice a winner under harness but has shown the limit of her capacity here and is unlikely to surprise on monte debut
- MISS TAVEL – Given a short rest after running 2nd in a 2250m Enghien Class E, on monte bow, 3 months ago. Will have been prepared for this and will not be available at 96-1 this time
- MAURANE DU CLOS – Has taken particularly well to the ridden code. Will appreciate the inner track and Tamara Mathias-Maisonnette can be confident of another big run
- MINNEAPOLIS – Unraced under the saddle since being eliminated on debut here exactly a year ago. Benjamin Rochard back in the irons and cannot be ruled out
- MYRIADE D’ORION – Respectable in both monte starts so far but takes on a superior lot this time and chances appear limited
- MAYA GERBEHAYE – Tricky filly but has shown considerable promise. Enjoys excellent conditions for monte bow and with application can get that maiden monkey off her back
Summary: As solid as a rock in all three ridden starts to date, MAURANE DU CLOS (11) held her own over the main track recently and under these conditions could well lose her maiden status. That said, the wonderfully-engaged MAYA GERBEHAYE (14) debuts in the discipline with Eric Raffin in the saddle. MARQUISE DE FAEL (8) may not have been seen out since July but she will already be in race-mode and can figure prominently. MEA MARIS (5) has done enough under harness to be considered a player on monte debut, especially with Mathieu Mottier in the irons.

Summary: Trainer Simon Laloum has a strong hand in this line-up. KONRAD DE CORDAY (15) made it back in style to the winning enclosure last time out and is expected to follow up. Stablemate LORD JULRY (16) was very unlucky at Marseille-Borély after three consecutive wins and can bounce back to score. L’AVENIR (14) is another one whose last run is best to be forgotten and can easily make the frame in a race of this nature. LAZAN DE PASSIEU (10) was an impressive winner Borély and should be closely monitored despite the rise in grade.
