R1 CAGNES-SUR-MER [L-H]
C1 – PRIX DE LIVOURNE – 2925m (a2m) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 33,000
- JADA MOKO – Has placed just once in 7 starts this year and has no possible chance
- INES DE MAJEAN – Won on turf last September but has made no impact since and can be confidently passed over
- INDIANO JIM – Disappointing for the most part since imposing at Les Sables-d’Olonne in August 2024 and is not about to change his ways
- HUNIQUE – Capable on a good day at a lower level. Out of the picture in last 2 and will have few friends
- JET JET JET – Has enjoyed something of a resurgence since last November. Has imposed just once going left-handed, but excels with Matthieu Abrivard, and winning this would be no surprise
- JAURESS DE CANI – Twice a winner here last summer and has delivered in superior company but latest effort leaves a lot to be desired
- JOSS CAPELLO – Seldom far from losing his action but has won 3 of 7 Cagnes starts and will have his chances if Tom Beauvais keeps him focused
- JERICHO – Has never disappointed when barefoot with Pierre Vercruysse in the bike. Should not be condemned for latest performance and can be brought back into the fold
- I LOVE JOSSELYN – Has been excellent here of late, finishing runner-up in last 2. Set personal best reduction here late last month and even though in better company this time, still looks competitively well in
- HARENA DE MARZY – Ran 4th behind HAPPY D’AIMTE (13) in the amateur division 2.5 weeks ago before faulting last Sunday, and is unlikely to cause an upset
- JINGLE LOVER – Made short work of a Class E over course and distance on 23 December. Lost his action next time but is in rude health and on good behaviour can more than make amends
- HAYASTAN DE ROSAN – Gave a fine account here in late-January before losing her action early here 10 days ago. Has not been the most fortunate this winter and should not be underestimated
- HAPPY D’AIMTE – Made up for late-January elimination when 2nd in an amateurs Class E over track and trip 2.5 weeks ago. Cannot be considered a priority but has been entrusted to Benjamin Rochard who will afford her a competitive drive
Summary: Easy winner here in late-December, JINGLE LOVER (11) was most unlucky here last month but, with application, can redeem himself. He can still expect to face considerable opposition from JET JET JET (5) who has been a model of consistency since late-November, and a tricky but barefoot JOSS CAPELLO (7) who has already won twice at Cagnes this term. Very hard to fault when barefoot and focused, I LOVE JOSSELYN (9) is close to winning another and must be taken seriously.

C2 – PRIX DE SYRACUSE – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 33,000 - INVICTUS DU DOLLAR – Put a pair of eliminations behind him when 3rd in a Toulouse Class E on 19 February. Starts in front and although not a contender is still unlikely to disappoint if applied
- HEROS DHELPA – Produced a trio of decent efforts in the provinces before finishing 9th behind HED (5) in a 2925m Class E here last Tuesday and will need to raise his game
- ELDORADO JET – Won over 2925m here early-January on French debut. Was denied a run in Gr.3 Prix Jean René Gougeon next time, but with stride in check, and no traffic problems, his place is on the podium
- EMPIRE AS – Was not disgraced at Vincennes 9 days ago when returning to the harness code. Is new to the venue and unlikely to get his nose in front, but will have progressed for the race and from the 4 slot can play a prominent role
- HED – Received a resounding thumbs-up for running 2nd in a 2925m Class E here last Tuesday. Is being aimed higher this time but should nevertheless hold his own
- JUBII VANG – Ran 2nd at Agen before finishing a rather unlucky 8th in a Vincennes Class D 3 weeks ago. Is never easy to gauge but is plainly in good shape and unlikely to be far off the mark
- KING DRY – Capable on a good day and has form here but has struggled in last 3 and will have little to offer
- KELMEC – Winner of 3 of 4 starts at Cagnes-sur-Mer. Flew up in a 2925m Class C early last month and in spite of an unfavourable draw can still secure the 3-timer
- REDBULL PELLINI – Has turned a corner lately, most recently 3rd in an Agen Class E 3 weeks ago. Has pulled an unfavourable number though and in this category will have too much to do
- DUMA NEH D’ASTI – Returns to France after having imposed over 1600m at San Siro last month. Is barefoot for the occasion but still has nothing to offer
- ETRANGER JOYEUSE – Drops down the category-ladder after running 7th in a 2850m Vincennes Class C in late-January. Has proper French form and will be no pushover if he takes to the new profile
Summary: Winner of both starts here during the meeting, KELMEC (8) left quite the impression last time and, even though not ideally-drawn for his hat-trick bid, he can still pull it off. Romain Derieux nevertheless still be mindful of the better-positioned ELDORADO JET (3) who would have picked up a cheque in a Vincennes Class C recently had he not lost his action, and ETRANGER JOYEUSE (11) who drops back to a more reasonable level. JUBII VANG (6) raced better at Vincennes mid-February than the result would suggest and can finish closer if kept out of trouble.

C3 – PRIX DE MILAN – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 33,000 - KIRA BO FACE – Returned to winning ways in a Class E here on 10 February but is pitted against better this time and is unlikely to influence the result
- KLASSE DE BRUZEAU – Just out of first 3 once in 4 starts here this year. Is unlikely to impose but is well-drawn and in her category. Place chance
- TOSCANA SOUTHWIND – Handy Scandi mare competing south of the nordics for the first time. Races barefoot, is nicely-drawn, and even though in better company, will be reined by Benjamin Rochard and will have her supporters
- KYNTE FLUSH – Put in quite the finish to run 5th in a 2850m Vincennes Class D on 15 February. Will appreciate the long Cagnes straight and is in with a realistic shout of winning this
- KANAKA DE BUSSET – Blows hot and cold but is not short of ability. Faces a less-difficult task than she has at Vincennes recently, and from the 5 slot looks competitive for a place in the frame
- DANA EK – Given a rest after winning in Bologna on 28 December. Was eliminated in the 2025 edition but form is not in question and will be dangerous if Gabriele Gelormini keeps her focused
- JUNON DE LOU – Eliminated on comeback at Nantes, then ran 3rd in a 2925m Class D here last Saturday. Has a number of 6yo’s to take on this time but can nonetheless pick up a first-5 cheque
- NIAGARA RIVER – Quality mare with form at a superior level but has not been blessed with a good draw. Will race barefoot though and cannot be discounted
- ESTEREL GI – Has raced and placed in Paris but is new to Cagnes-sur-Mer and the draw will do her no favours
- DESDEMONA (ITY) – Starts in France for just the 2nd time, having most recently imposed over a mile in Milan, but has little going for her here and can be passed over
Summary: Sent for a spell after running 2nd in a Vincennes Class C in December, KYNTE FLUSH (4) returned to competition 3 weeks ago with a very encouraging performance and, given the draw, can have her way at Cagnes at the first time of asking. She will still meet resistance though from the in-form DANA EK (6) who makes her 2nd foray to the Riviera with a decent chance of opening her French account. KLASSE DE BRUZEAU (2) has been enjoying a fruitful run of form and the draw will do her prospects no harm. Runner-up on her only appearance here, KANAKA DE BUSSET (5) is well-placed in front and will be entrusted to David Bekaert for the first time.

C4 – GR CRIT VITESSE DE LA COTE D’AZUR-BFM NI – 1609m (a1m) – Gr1 – Harness – EUR € 200,000 - HOKKAIDO JIEL – Failed to confirm Prix d’Amerique success when 8th behind GO ON BOY (4) in 2100m Gr.1 Prix de France a month back. Is untried at Cagnes but has a fine turn of foot and does not make the trip for nothing. Chance
- HARLEY GEMA – Has won 3 of last 4, most recently a valuable 2900m Gr.3 here in early-January. Comes here fresh and from the 2 slot can give this a good go. Minor place chance
- FAKIR MERITE – Benefits from a good draw here but has looked decidedly ordinary over recent months and appears to have no realistic chance
- GO ON BOY – Classy trotter that ran fine 2nd in 2100m Gr.1 Prix de France a month ago. Presents superb credentials over a mile and can wrap this up if he stays trotting
- INMAROSA – Was not disgraced when 6th behind GO ON BOY (4) in 2100m Gr.1 Prix de France at Vincennes a month ago. Posted 1’08’4 when 4th in 2024 renewal, and is sufficiently well-positioned to give this a good go. Attention
- EXECUTIV EK – Fine campaigner whose Prix de France run should not be taken at face value. Has excelled over recent months and even against battle-hardened older horses can still get in on the action
- IGUSKI SAUTONNE – Was unable to confirm Cornulier performance in Prix de France, but has excellent speed. Posted 1’09 over 2100m last summer and is unlikely to let the side down
- FRANK GIO – Ran 4th in Prix d’Amérique before coming respectable 6th in Prix de Paris a fortnight ago. Goes over any trip and even in the absence of habitual partner Matthieu Abrivard, can nevertheless play an important role
- LARGO DE CASTELLE – Respectable sort that twice pleased here over the winter but at this level can expect to have a mountain to climb
- LIGHTNING STRIDE – Serious nordic raider with nothing to prove over a mile, but takes on an exalted lot this time and will struggle to make her presence felt
- JONGLEUSE DE LUNE – Held her own in good company at Vincennes over recent months, but is not known for her great speed and the draw only compounds matters
- FELLOW WISE AS – Won a Vincennes Class A in November but has failed to make the grade since. Boasts solid references over a mile though and, although not a priority, is still one to watch
- GOLD VOICE – Quality mare racing here for a change of scenery and will have other ambitions
Summary: One of the toughest in the game but surprisingly below-par in the Prix d’Amerique, GO ON BOY (4) made up for it when 2nd in the Gr.1 Prix de France a month back. He lost his action in the 2025 edition but, on good behaviour, can win this from the 4 slot. Amerique winner HOKKAIDO JIEL (1) was found wanting in the Prix de France but he has the chance to face a new challenge over a Cagnes-sur-Mer mile and could pleasantly surprise. Gabriele Gelormini would have preferred a better draw for FRANK GIO (8) who, barring his last start, has been knocking at the door over recent months. Prix de Cornulier winner IGUSKI SAUTONNE (7) showed great courage in the Prix de France and makes his Cagnes debut barefoot and with a good hand to play. INMAROSA (5) is better than her last 2 results would suggest, and Leo Abrivard is unlikely to let the good opportunity slip by.

C5 – PRIX DE CABOURG – 2925m (a2m) – Class A – Harness – EUR € 52,000 - MOONLIGHT DANICA – It took 9 months but he got back in the winners’ circle after easily winning a 2150m Class E 2.5 weeks ago. Finds himself in the deep end this time and can be passed over
- MOSTRA DE CHANLECY – Useful servant that acquits herself honourably for the most part, however in this company is not about to shake things up
- MA COPINE FLAC – Enjoying something of a renaissance since being able to race barefoot. Came 3rd, a place behind MAJOR GEDE (4), in a Class C over course and distance 11 days ago and is unlikely to let the side down
- MAJOR GEDE – Not once out of the frame in 5 starts here but is biting off more than he can chew this time
- MILORD DE BUY – 2nd over 2150m here early last month but was soundly thrashed in Gr.3 Prix Henri Callier and is unlikely to set off any fireworks
- MAFIATIME DUCAMPUS – Got the winter off to a fine start with course-and-distance victory in December, but has failed to make his mark in 2 since. Matthieu Abrivard in the bike this time though and will be worth monitoring
- MONA D’AVRIL – Dominated a 2150m Class C here early last month but was quickly eliminated in 12 February race of reference. With application though, can finish in the mix
- MANHATTAN ROUSSAC – Has done nothing but improve since the turn of the year, latterly 3rd to MANHATTAN EMGE (13) in 2925m Gr.3 Prix Henri Callier here on 12 February. Benjamin Rochard stays faithful and can bring the fight to MANHATTAN EMGE (13)
- MISTRAL LOMIG – Not always the most generous of horses but caught the eye when 5th to MANHATTAN EMGE (13) in race of reference and, barefoot this time, will not be sent out at 124-1
- MAITRE D’HOULBEC – No slouch but disappointed in last 2 here. Appears to be in conditioning-mode this time and best to hold off
- MAESTRIA GALAA – Produced a 42-1 surprise when 2nd to MANHATTAN EMGE (13) in 2925m Gr.3 Prix Henri Callier here on 12 February. Has been showing a different side since starting to race barefoot and should be good enough to finish close once more
- MISTER BARRA – Excellent over autumn and winter but oddly below-par 6th to MANHATTAN EMGE (13) in Gr.3 Prix Henri Callier here 3.5 weeks ago. Starts on level terms this time and can make the frame
- MANHATTAN EMGE – Excellent campaigner with an enviable strike-rate. Winner of last 2 here, latterly with ease over track and trip on 12 February. Incurs no penalty this time and is going to take all the beating
Summary: Nine times a winner in 14 career starts, MANHATTAN EMGE (13) has taken to Cagnes conditions like a duck to water, latterly winning a Gr.3 here with a 25m penalty, and will be well-backed to secure the hat-trick. Lana Henry will still want to be wary of MANHATTAN ROUSSAC (8) who came in a fast-finishing 3rd to her here last month. MAESTRIA GALAA (11) finished in between them on that occasion and can again figure prominently, but will first have to see off MISTER BARRA (12) who will not have an extra 25m to travel this time.

C6 – PRIX DE ROME – TOR DI VALLE – 2925m (a2m) – Class B – Harness – EUR € 49,000 - HOOPER DES CHASSES – Sprang something of a surprise when securing a Class C over course and distance 2.5 weeks ago. Moves up the category-ladder but may just have too much to do this time
- HARRY LE BEAU – Has placed just once in last 6 starts, but encouraged in 12 February race of reference and, in similar condition, can get a look in
- GLOBAL AGREEMENT – Excellent Italian-trained veteran that should not be too hastily-condemned for failing to deliver in a Gr.3 here in December. Has since won at home and, given his overall French record, can make this his own
- HIMBERLAND – Takes to Cagnes for the first time after making his return in Paris 9 days ago. Is highly versatile and should appreciate the new conditions. First 5
- GREAT OF MADRIK – Bit off more than he could chew when modest 6th in a Gr.3 over course and distance on 20 February. Is proven at this level but has a lot to find this time around
- HEROS DES MOTTES – Produced a 64-1 surprise when 4th in a Class B over track and trip 10 days ago, however a repeat seems most improbable
- INDIGO DE FONTAINE – Never far from faulting but made the frame in last 2, most recently 3rd to INDUS VAL (13) over course and distance, and can again play a prominent role
- GREAT TIGRESS – Got straight back in the game on 6 February after her winter break, winning a Vincennes Class B on first association with Gabriele Gelormini, and a repeat is well within her capacity
- FEMTO DE VAUVERT – Oddly out of sorts at Agen in January before running 2nd to INDUS VAL (13) in a Class B over course and distance on 12 February. Has already won 4 times for David Bekaert and will give another honest performance
- ILLUSION JIPAD – Tricky but useful mare that was conditioned, shod, here 2.5 weeks ago. Races barefoot this time and, with application, can play a part
- GIMY DU POMMEREUX – Unremarkable trotter that has made little to no impact for some time and is not about to spice things up
- HELIOT DE CAHOT – Has done nothing noteworthy since winning at Cavaillon last September and can be ignored
- INDUS VAL – Nicely-engaged element that won a Class B over course and distance on 12 February. Is clearly in excellent shape and is unlikely to be far from the action
- GALA DE CRENNES – 5th in 20 February race of reference, at 122-1, however he will on this occasion have limited prospects
- GRAND TRIO LUDOIS – Terrifically-engaged type that just last Tuesday made his re-entry after a post-Christmas spell. Goes barefoot this time, has never disappointed at Cagnes-sur-Mer, and should logically give this a good go
Summary: GREAT TIGRESS (8) defied 30-1 odds to win in Paris last month on her first start since September. She is new to Cagnes but will have been kept on the boil and has a realistic chance of repeating. GLOBAL AGREEMENT (3) has yet to deliver at Cagnes but he takes a dip in class and latterly reassured in Florence. INDUS VAL (13) beat a host of these under similar conditions 3.5 weeks ago and, considering the entry, is easy to recommend. Third to him that day, INDIGO DE FONTAINE (7) will be no pushover if Leo Abrivard keeps him trotting.

C7 – PRIX DE FLORENCE – 2925m (a2m) – Class A – Harness – EUR € 52,000 - LAZAN DE PASSIEU – Has enjoyed fine form over recent months, including winning over track and trip on first start of the year, but may be taking on too much this time
- LEDZEP – Opened his Cagnes account in a 2150m Class C on 12 February. Was quickly eliminated here later in the month but is reunited with Benjamin Rochard who won with him that day and cannot be ruled out
- LIVANTO KALOUMA – Failed to live up to expectations in a Class B over course and distance on 25 February, but can make amends if he manages to race with cover this time. Place chance
- LEVER DU JOAMAX – Simply dynamic since returning to competition in December. Goes barefoot as he steps up in category and will be expected to give LUPIN D’OLMEN (5) a run for his money
- LUPIN D’OLMEN – Has won 3 of 4 barefoot starts here, most recently making it 2 in a row when winning a Class F under these conditions, from pillar to post, on 10 February. The horse to beat
- LET ME SIXTY ONE – Good servant when barefoot and focused. Has a pair of runs in him since the spell but in this company is unlikely to influence the result
- LYRIKO BELLO – Clearly capable and has form here, but has been off the boil over recent months and others easier to back
- LUTIN VENESI – Ran good 2nd against his elders here on 17 February then prepped under similar conditions 8 days later. Is in competition-mode this time, will not be incurring a penalty, and will justifiably garner considerable support
Summary: Barring a pair of eliminations, LUPIN D’OLMEN (5) has never been beaten at Cagnes-sur-Mer; he returns on a hat-trick of course-and-distance victories, and is very easy to like. That being said, LEVER DU JOAMAX (4) simply excels here and will be barefoot for his first attempt at this level. The richest horse here, LUTIN VENESI (8) will also be barefoot following his recent prep and tends to go well for his driver.

C8 – PRIX DE MALMOE – 2150m (a1m1/4) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 38,000 - INSTRUCTOR – Tricky element with just the one run in him since the winter break. Goes barefoot this time but already looks out of his depth
- IDOLE D’OURVILLE – Has struggled at a superior level in Paris since late-January. Returns to a more realistic class of race and the draw will do her chances no disservice. First 5
- HERMES D’ECROVILLE – Ran 5th in a Class D here a month back but was unable to confirm a fortnight later and, despite the draw, is not an obvious choice
- JOLIVERT DU GERS – 3rd in a 2700m Vincennes Class D mid-February. Is regularly in the thick of things and would not be making the trip if the intention was not to win. Claim
- HYDROMEL – Started to come good again after Christmas but has since come off the boil and, even racing barefoot, is unlikely to create an upset
- GRANIT DU FRESNE – Showed form in January but subsequently lost his way. Reverts to racing barefoot this time but others still preferred
- GRIGRI DU BONHEUR – Eliminated in a Class B over longer here 10 days ago, but nevertheless showed his form, and will not be far from the action if Steve Stefano gets him off on the right foot
- GREAT DANCER – Left Cagnes for Corsica in 2025, disappointing in just 2 of 16 starts. Made an excellent re-entry in Paris and with Benjamin Rochard in the bike will justifiably generate considerable interest
- HIVER D’AUTHISE – Has been a complete disappointment since last autumn and even racing barefoot has no realistic chance
- FULGURER – Made up for a pair of eliminations when good 2nd to GAI LOGIS (11) in a 2925m Class D here a fortnight ago. Is unlikely to repeat but can nevertheless hold his own
- GAI LOGIS – Won a 2925m Class D here on 21 January, but was subsequently well-beaten in next 2. Pads fitted this time and not a concern
- JAVANAIS DELO – Cagnes-loving type that simply excels in current configuration. Is not ideally-drawn but is at the top of his game and will be expected to contest the finish
- HESCORT LOVE – 4th in a Class C here 2.5 weeks ago before losing his action 6 days later. Will be reunited with Christophe Martens and should not be ruled out
- JOIE DE LA COTE – Surprise 2nd to JAVANAIS DELO (12) in a Class D over course and distance 10 days ago. Has pulled a rough number but still warrants considerable respect
- IRISH NICE ELGE – 72-1 3rd in a 2925m Class D here a month ago, but was trounced at Saint-Galmier 10 days later and can be confidently passed over
Summary: JOLIVERT DU GERS (4) may not have won since last June, and has not imposed on a hard surface since January 2024, but he gave a fine account in Paris 3 weeks ago and enjoys an excellent opportunity to make his Cagnes bow a victorious one. JAVANAIS DELO (12) is in his garden here, has been excelling since December, and will have his chances if Romain Derieux positions him early. JOIE DE LA COTE (14) ran 2nd to him late last month and will not be available at 16-1 this time. GREAT DANCER (8) is as dependable as they get, adores the venue, and is unlikely to let the side down.

C9 – PRIX D’ALBENGA – 2925m (a2m) – Class C – Mounted – EUR € 43,000 - ENAOZ – Outclassed the opposition in a Class D under these conditions in early-January and flew up again just 9 days ago only to lose the race in the stewards’ room. Is plainly in rude health and looks a serious proposition
- JAMES OF CARLY – Takes to Cagnes for the first time after some marginally below-par performances over the past month. Is not without merit though and can finish in the money
- JOLI MANNEQUIN – Produced career-best monte performance when 3rd to the excellent KOALA (5) in a Class E over track and trip on 12 February. Well-placed on front row and looks thoroughly capable of making the frame
- LORENZO BOKO – Makes first monte appearance since leaving Sweden early this year. Ran 3rd under harness here on 8 January and, if form transitions, can compete for a place in the picture
- KOALA – Most impressive since returning to racing barefoot, producing 3 straight victories, most recently a Class E over course and distance on 12 February, and a similar effort would see him continue his successful streak
- HIRO DE L’ORMERIE – Eliminated on return to competition here on 25 February, not having raced since last May. Has shown little liking for these conditions and can be ruled out
- INITIALE CASTELETS – Inherited victory, but nevertheless gave a fine account, in a Class D over course and distance 11 days ago. On back line again but a repeat seems unlikely
- GREZ – Has done nothing of note since placing at Vincennes in the autumn and the extra 25m to travel will do nothing to aid his plight
Summary: A superb servant in this branch of the game, KOALA (5) has never been in better shape, starts on the front line, and Benjamin Rochard can be forgiven for feeling bullish about his chances. JOLI MANNEQUIN (3) ran 3rd to him here 3.5 weeks ago before going on to impose under harness in Toulouse late last month and is unlikely to disappoint, but he may first have to defer to ENAOZ (1) who would have made it 2 on the trot had he not been subsequently disqualified last time.

- KING TRACK – Successful in Class F at Bordeaux-Le Bouscat over 2550m on 22 February. Has improved of late and could double up
- KASH DIBAH – Disqualified twice in a row, the latest at Nantes over 3000m on 21 February. Capable of contesting the finish when smart
- KALINDA SPOKEN – Unreliable and finished 5th in Class G at Machecoul over 2700m on 2 November. Could need this run returning from a break

- KALIE DREAM – Only modest of late and finished 6th in Class D at Nantes over 3000m on 13 February. Has a place chance on best form
- KISS ME DE MADKER – Unreliable and was disqualified last time out at Enghien over 2875m on 26 October. Capable of scoring but is returning from a break
- KHEOPS DE FREDLAU – Yet to win a race but was barefoot and third in Class F at Laval over 2850m on 18 February. Remains barefoot and can score
- KATIA DHELPA – Has lost her way of late and finished 11th in Class C at Cagnes-sur-Mer over 2925m on 3 February. Barefoot and is capable of an upset
Summary: A very competitive-looking opening event. KHEOPS DE FREDLAU (10) did run well at Laval and remains barefoot but has yet to taste winning success. It could be his turn, so gets a narrow vote to score. KING TRACK (4) has shown improvement lately and was a solid winner at Bordeaux-Le Bouscat, so will not be a surprise winner. KALINA VENDEENNE (2) is clearly better than her last run would suggest and can get into the mix of things. KASH DIBAH (5) is capable of scoring when staying in stride, so must be respected as well.

- NANILLE DES APRES – Has not shown much yet and was 6th in Class E over this course and distance on 27 February. Needs to do more to beat these rivals
- NERISSA MESLOISE – Not disgraced on debut when fourth in Class F at Rouen-Mauquenchy over 2850m on 24 February. Capable of improvement and has claims
- NOCE DE REVE – Only modest of late and finished 6th in Class F at Nantes over 2275m on 21 February. Needs to do more to score
Summary: A very competitive race as there are debutants that can score. NIKITA WOOD (4) and NEWTON DE TILLARD (3) both catch the eye. NIKITA WOOD (4) has a good qualifying time so gets the narrow vote to score. NEWTON DE TILLARD (3) represents a combination that can be ready to score on debut. NINOTEA (7) was unlucky on debut at Graignes and could make amends if smart. NERISSA MESLOISE (9) showed promise on debut and can win with improvement likely.

Summary: NEW GROUND (7) was a decent third on his penultimate start in the Grand Prix De Deauville (Group 2) on August 30th over 2500m. He is a classy gelding who was fourth in the Epsom Derby (Group 1) in June and should be too smart for his rivals. His main threat could be CASAPUEBLO (5), who was a credible fourth in a Listed race at Lyon Parilly in early November on his last run. Summary: NOFIX (1) went over the mile last time out which may have been short of his best trip. Stepping to the 1900m now with the services of Cristian Demuro could certainly be a game changer for him. STAR OF ARTABAN (2) is absolutely cherishing life coming into the race with two victories over the distance and would be no surprise if he reels off the hattrick win. ROCKY RUN (6) is lightly raced and has scope for improvement. He must be considered. CITY BABE (4) returns after a lengthy break and could run well fresh.
