Summary: NEIL DU SEUIL (3) has performed well on both starts, he was second on the most recent in a claiming event over 3000m at Fontainebleau in mid-March. He can edge this over DEAL DAILY (8), who won on the flat and can give a better effort after two runs over hurdles. BEYOND THE CLOUD (6) was not good enough in a Listed hurdle recently, but was third when the selection was second at Fontainebleau in March and can not be ruled out. SILVER DES CARRES (1) heads the rest.

Summary: LECOEURDESHOMMES (4) has shaped well enough over hurdles recently at this track in a handicap hurdle late in March. He can get back in the winning groove at the expense of MAGUELON (3), who can make errors over fences but is talented and won a Grade 3 chase in October last year. LEGOLAS TEK (9) is a previous course winner over fences and has ran well recently at this track over hurdles. He can be on the premises, as can LISKARIA (6), who has solid previous course form.

- ROSA MIA – Placed 3rd on her latest startover 2500m at Argentan on the flat in a claiming race. She was 9th over hurdles before that in March at this track and is worth considering down in class
Summary: SUBLI CHOPE (9) ran well to be second in a claiming hurdle at Fontainebleau over 3000m in mid-April on her latest start and holds strong claims of getting off the mark. Her main danger could be KELLY CHIRON (8), who was a narrow margin back in third in the same race at Fontainebleau. ALANA MOON (2) drops in class and is worth considering, as is ROSA MIA (10), who was third on her latest start on the flat, and fared reasonably on her hurdling debut at this track in March.

LEADER CONTI (3) showed improvement earlier this month and could do even better this time around. LUMINO BELLO (4) was successful when returning from a break and a follow-up win would not be a surprise. SPECIALS ONE (2) tries further and can be a challenger for top honours.

Summary: Still chasing a first success at Auteuil, NOIRE WULF (4) arrives on the back of a stylish win at Compiègne and looks ready to make a bold bid. Impressive on her recent return to the Butte Mortemart, MILLARES (7) is clearly a mare of considerable ability and rates a serious contender.
Stablemate to the selection, the unbeaten QUART D’ESPOIR (8) also commands plenty of respect and represents a very much in-form yard. MYSOKO STAR (6) made a striking impression on her hurdling debut and has to be considered.

Summary: Respectively third at Auteuil and second at Fontainebleau on their seasonal returns, HEROS D’AINAY (2) and SPEED EMILE (3) hold the advantage of race fitness. Both look set to play leading roles and could well fight out the finish. They should, however, keep a close eye on JAPON (6), who returns to action with the potential to make a big impact. JOHNNY ROQUE (8), who tends to go well fresh, and DAZODREAM (7), back after a lengthy absence, are also worth noting on their reappearances.

Summary: AZAMITA (1) ran a cracker on debut and would have learnt plenty from that experience. She has drawn the ace and rates the one they all need to beat. TOSCANE (11) and ASTRAL DREAM (12) are both newcomers who demand the utmost of respect on debut. They come from leading yards and could have a say in the outcome. MARAKANA (8) would have gained a lot of experience after that debut effort and should make her presence felt.

Summary: LE SAGE (2) has posted two pleasing efforts at his last two and should make a huge bid for glory with Maxime Guyon in the irons. NICE RULER (10) just found one better on the day last time out but is ideally drawn to get a dream run through and could go one spot better. He finds himself 2.5kgs better off with the reopposing, ANTAIOS (13) who has his measure last time out but things could be different on these weight terms. He isn’t one to completely rule out though with his confidence up. WATT OHM (15) needs to be forgiven for a rather under par latest effort and is better judged on prior form.

Summary: DALIASIR (1) ran with plenty of promise first up and seems like the type who would have learnt a lot with that piece of experience under the belt. He should be in the firing line. SHAPESMITH (5) ran below expectations first up and should put that effort behind him as he looks to get involved in the outcome. Summary: MEARAS STYLE (3) is a filly that is no stranger to racing being a nine-time overall winner. She is well experienced of the pack and in this Class 4 Handicap, her experience can prevail. LANDARYNA (8) looks a bit erratic of late and is hard to have confidence in. If she remains wise here, she has the right credentials to return to her fiery self. LIBERTE CHERIE (5) is a model of consistency having run two consecutive seconds in her last two starts and if one is to spoil the party, it will be her that can score. LADIVA (15) deserves a mention and is not without a shout.

Summary: JOUR DE COEUR (4) drops markedly in grade here and would be a disappointment if not firmly in the mix for top honours. RODCHENKO (5) has a similar profile and also finds a good opportunity to get back on track. Now with Mathieu Boutin, I AM STILL STANDING (1) is a solid and proven performer at this level and should give another good account. Don’t overlook UNE AVENTURE (3), whose sharp turn of foot could prove decisive if the race is run to suit.

Summary: Now in the care of Victoria Head, GITANO (2) has been supplemented and looks capable of asserting his authority against older rivals in this contest. The returning TAMYZ (6) heads the opposition, having gone close in a Quinté+ last September and likely to be competitive if ready after his break. LOVE IS GOLD (1) faces a stiff task under a big weight, but conditions should suit and he’s not one to dismiss lightly. MIYALAA (5) is steadily working her way back to a competitive mark and could be ready to play a bigger role.

Summary: Impressive second in a recent Quinté+ at Saint-Cloud, DARK SECRET (6) sets a clear standard here and looks very much the one they all have to beat—arguably the standout bet of the card. The returning HURRICANGO (4) is an interesting contender on profile and could pose a threat if fully tuned up after the break. CRYSTAL LIGHT (11) made a striking debut at Senonnes and looks capable of confirming that promise, although she’ll need to uphold her apparent edge over the reliable CAZADERO (1), who should once again give his running.

- THE DOCTOR – Ran 5th in a Claimer over 2000m at this course on 22 March. Does look held by others on that last run but could place
- RIGOLETTOS – Winner of a Claimer over this course and distance on 22 March. Ran out a convincing winner of that race and can double up

- SOUS INFLUENCE – Finished 5th in a Handicap over 1600m at Toulouse on 6 April. Has a 2nd place over this track and trip and deserves consideration

- MUNGASHA – Finished 4th in a Claimer over 11800m at Salon Provence on 6 April. Recent form has been moderate and looks unlikely to feature
- MUELHEIMER PERLE – A one-length second in a Claimer over this course and distance on 22 March. Did well in that race and looks the main threat
Summary: This is almost a replay of a Claimer over this course and distance on 22 March. RIGOLETTOS (3) was a one-length winner of that race but his penalty has virtually been negated by Marie Vélon’s claim, so he looks the one to beat again. However, second-placed MUELHEIMER PERLE (10 is better weighted and remains the danger while GRECIAN BONANZA (1) is at his best at this course. SOUS INFLUENCE (5) is another to consider.

- DISBAY – Finished 4th in a Maiden over 1600m at Cavaillon on 29 March. Did run 4th over this course and distance two runs back and could enjoy racing in this category for the first time

- ILLOIS – Ran 6th in a Conditions race over 2500m at Hyeres on 6 April. Looks held by others on his last few runs over this course and distance
Summary: This does look an open affair but while most of the runners are well exposed, DISBAY (5) has only raced three times and has the most room for improvement. She should enjoy the longer trip and this looks a perfect opportunity for her in her Handicap debut. TENDER THOUGHTS (2) and DRAGON LOVE (4) are capable on their day but are not reliable while SANKA CHOP (3) is another with decent form over this track and trip.

- LES PRINCES – A moderate 10th over 1600m at Fontainebleau on 20 April. There is little in his form to offer much encouragement
- ANDUGAL – Finished 11th in a Handicap over 1400m at Moulins on 9 April. Tries this distance for the first time but recent form is mediocre

- BELLA CRACK – Ran 7th in a Handicap over 1900m at Chantilly on 30 March. If she jumps on terms she will be hard to beat
Summary: With three runners in this race trainer Christophe Escuder could have the edge. Best of his trio looks to be BELLA CRACK (9), who needs to avoid conceding too much ground at the start to be effective, while ALEKSANDROVKA (3) has won at this course and must be respected. Top weight SAINT LAURENT (1) comes off a decent win at Deauville while WHAKA (7) shed her maiden tag last time and could arrive with her confidence boosted.

- VALIENTE – A decent 5th in a handicap over 1800m at Salon Provence on 16 April. He had MEFIE TOI (1) behind him in that race but needs to prove himself over this distance

Summary: SCHACHEN (3) returns from a break and her trainer has declared her fit and ready for this race. At this level she will be ideally suited to the conditions. MEFIE TOI (1) impressed with his victory in a Handicap on this surface at Chantilly but concedes lots of weight. - MAGIC TREVILLE – Not beaten far when 4th in a Claimer over 1850m at Hyeres on 6 April. He form is not great but she does have a good opportunity to shine in a race at this level
- CHIVERE – A poor 13th in a Handicap over 1400m at Chantilly on 26 March. Her recent form is poor but her rating has come down and that could make her competitive again
- DAYTON – A promising 3rd in a Claimer over 2500m at Hyeres on 25 April. That was an improved run but does drop significantly in distance
- NIGHT OF THE OPERA – Ran 5th in a Handicap over 1600m at Lyon Parilly on 18 April. Has some reasonable form at this course and that puts him in the picture
Summary: This is a Handicap Claiming race and the level of competitors is very low so it could come down to who has the best of luck on the day. MAGIC TREVILLE (4) has shown some level of ability and this gives her an ideal chance to pick up a victory. CHIVERE (5) has not shown much recently but her rating has come down and if she can reproduce her old form she could be there. - HORNIG – Finished 11th in a Claimer over 1200m at Fontainebleau on 20 April. He will be having his first start for trainer Christophe Escuder and should run well at this level
- BEWARE OF THE BEAR – A mediocre 7th in a Handicap over 1200m at Evreux on 15 April. He could have a place chance in this field
- TEMADIVA – Finished 13th in a Handicap over 1400m at ParisLongchamp on 26 April. Has performed well on this course and could be competitive
Summary: Dropping to this level for the first time LE DOC (1) won well and could quite easily follow up. HORNIG (3), who is also now trained by Christophe Escuder, could provide the main challenge dropping in class. NOCTURNE BLOU (2) has been off since December but did end the season with a win at this course so could run fresh. BEWARE OF THE BEAR (4) could mount a challenge.

- BASQUIAT – A one-length winner of a Maiden over 2600m at Marseille Borely on 3 April. That was only his third run and having finished 2nd over this track and trip previously looks the one to beat

- COUNSELOR – Finished 7th in a Handicap over 1800m at Salon Province on 16 April. Was beaten by PERSIANA (2) but could improve at this course over the extra distance
- TOREBEK – Beaten just over 4 lengths when 4th in a Claimer over 2400m at Salon Provence on 16 April. Has more to do this time
Summary: The pace could well decide this Handicap with a small field but BASQUIAT (3) comes off a win over this distance in only his third run and looks to be progressive. Both CATHERINE LA MER (4) and PERSIANA (2) bring good form into this race but both will be tested over this distance. COUNSELO (5), is held on form but could improve over this course and distance.
