C1 – PRIX ROCK’N ROLL – 2000m (a1m1/4) – TURF – Class 2 – Flat – EUR € 20,100
- BON VIVEUR – Not beaten far when 3rd in a Conditions race over 1600m at ParisLongchamp on 16 April. Supplemented into this and having won over 1800m the extra 200m should not be a problem
- ANNO SOLERO – A promising 4th in a race over 1600m at Munich-Rhiem in Germany on 8 November. Did win on debut at this course in a decent field
- TABEO – A poor 13th in a Handicap over 2000m at Saint-Cloud on 1 May. That was in Quinté+ and has been his only unplaced run. He has run well at this course and a lot more is expected
- THANOS – A narrow winner of a Maiden over 2400m at Wissembourg on 1 May. Earlier form was poor and he does take on stronger so has his work cut out
- SHEERAN – A disappointing 5th in a Conditions race over 1900m at La Teste on 1 April. She is better than that run and should regain her best form in this event
Summary: BON VIVEUR (1) has a win, two seconds and two thirds in his five career runs and should not be troubled by the longer tip this time. SHEERAN (5) is proven over the distance and should come back well from a short break. Her last run should be overlooked. The same could be said of TABEO (3) who is better than his last performance. German-trained ANNO SOLERO (2) comes back from a six-month break but has the ability to win a race of this nature.

- GIRAFO – Never in it when 10th in a Conditions race over 2500m at Nancy on 20 May. Form is poor and will battle to feature
- ALVAR – A moderate 8th in a Handicap over 1900m at Chantilly on 19 May. Form not strong enough to be considered
- FURY BOXING – A 1.5-length 3rd in a Handicap over 2000m at Lyon Parilly on 14 May. A highly consistent performer and should be right there once again
- ARAMIS AL GUNAY – A 2.75-length 2nd in a race over 2000m at Hoppegarten in Germany on 10 May. He could make a decent debut in France
- SAFE AND SOUND – Finished 8th in a race over 2800m at Wolverhampton on 24 November. She was a 50,000 euro purchase and has some decent form in the UK, but on the sand
- ROSA GALLICA – A close-up 4th in a Conditions race over 2000m at Nancy on 26 April. Has not run a bad race in Maiden company and has found the perfect opportunity to open her account
- BROWNY BLUE – A poor 11th in a Conditions race over 1800m at Compiegne on 9 May. Was well beaten by ROSA GALLICA (7) in that run and has little chance of finishing any closer
- ARRASAGE – A poor 10th in a Conditions race over 2000m at Nancy on 26 April. That was her first run on the Flat after two failures over hurdles
- ROLEXXA – Not beaten too far when 6th in a Handicap over 2000m at Lyon Parilly on 14 May. That was her first outing in Australian blinkers and further improvement is possible
- SULTANE – A disappointing 13th in a Conditions race over 1600m at Compiegne on 9 May. She does run well when in the right frame of mind and if this is one of those day she could do well
- BEAUTY MAGIC – Unraced 4yo filly by Dariyan out of Naseem Alyasmeen mare Clodovil trained by Christian Peterschmitt. Half-sister has 2 wins and 9 places from 16 starts
- OLE OLE – Unraced 4yo filly by Counterattack out of Tertullian mare Olala trained by Gerald Geisler. Mare placed in three Listed races in Germany. First foal to race
Summary: The only unplaced run for ROSA GALLICA (7) came against winners and she has found an ideal vehicle to get her into the No 1 box. FURY BOXING (4) is a long-time maiden but is rarely far off the winner and should fight out the finish again. SAFE AND SOUND (6) makes her debut in France after some promising races in the UK and has been supplemented into the race. ARAMIS AL GUNAY (5) has some decent form in Germany and should be competitive with Marvin Grandin in the irons.

- MARASI DRIVE – A 2.75-length 3rd in a Handicap over 1600m at Lyon Parilly on 29 April. Has been supplemented after running well in two strong races over 1600m and looks ready to pick up his first win
- DJAVERIA – A well-beaten 9th in a Maiden over 1400m at Compiegne on 25 April. Unlikely to feature on form
- ROMANCIER NOCTURNE – A promising 6th in a Handicap over 1400m at ParisLongchamp on 10 May. Ran on strongly in that race and should be suited by the longer trip
- ASPRILA – Finished 9th in a Handicap over this course and distance on 8 May. Is well held by others on that run
- ANGEL DREAMER – Ran on powerfully when 6th in a Handicap over this course and distance on 8 May. Is held by EL VEGAS (2) on that run but has shown improvement on his return to turf
- ST GERMAIN – Well beaten when 5th in a Handicap over 1600m at Saint-Cloud on 24 March. Dropping slightly in class he should perform well under his current rating
- ZENATA – A close-up 5th in a Handicap over 1200m at Marseille Borely on 6 May. Still looking for her first win she will be running at them late
- TOMOE GOZEN – A mediocre 7th in a Claimer over 1400m at Bordeaux Le Bouscat on 27 April. Will need to up her game to be competitive
Summary: MARASI DRIVE (3) ran well when third in a decent field last time and stands out as the runner to beat. EL VEGAS (2) brings strong course-and-distance form into this race and looks the main threat. ST GERMAIN (8) looks well handicapped and is expected to be competitive. ZENATA (9) deserves a change in fortune and will be closing in on them late.

- A BEAUREGARD – An improved 6th in a Handicap over 3000m at ParisLongchamp on 23 April. He will be suited to the conditions and is a decent stayer
- SHRIHARA – A close-up 3rd in a Handicap over 2400m at ParisLongchamp on 12 April. Another who is trying this distance for the first time but ran well enough last time to indicate she could be a threat
- ASKARI – A close-up 2nd in a Handicap over 2400m at ParisLongchamp on 26 April. He will be stepping up in both class and distance but could well rise to the occasion
- CUNCERTO – Finished 12th in a Handicap over 3000m at ParisLongchamp on 23 April. Winner of this race last year but carries 2kg more and would prefer softer ground. Will have his supporters
- BADEN ROCKS – A moderate 9th in a Handicap over this track and tri[ on 8 May. Will have his work cut out the firm conditions could suit him
- MYKISS – A 2.75-length 4th in a Handicap over this course and distance on 8 May. He has run well in this race in the last three years, winning it in 2023 and 3rd last year. He comes into this race very well handicapped

- CAPMAN FAL – Finished 12th in a Handicap over 2000m at this track on 8 May. Takes a jump in class and is unproven over this distance
- IT’S EAGLE – A 1.5-length 2nd in a Handicap over this track and trip on 8 May. May be considered an unlucky loser of that race, and proven at this track, should run well
- DARLYVI – A close-up 3rd in a Handicap over 3150m at Lyon Parilly on 8 May. Takes on a lot stronger and might find the ground too firm
- QUE BELLA – A 0.75-length winner of a Handicap over 2400m at Compiegne on 9 May. Faces stronger and could be out of her depth over this trip
- JAZZMEN – Caused a major upset when winning a Handicap over 2350m at this course on 18 May. He likes a fast track and could be an interesting outsider
- NOUSDEUX – A decent 3rd in a Handicap over this course and distance on 8 May. She is held by others on that run and will struggle in this field
Summary: This will be an interesting test for PRETTY QUEEN (2), who painted herself into the picture with a solid 2nd against a top stayer over 3100m last time at ParisLongchamp. May lack experience but is loaded with talent. A BEAUREGARD (3) made a pleasing return to form last time and can make the best of No 1 draw. MYKISS (8) has a great record in this race over the last three years and should be there again. Defending champion CUNCERTO (6) and ASKARI (5) have the form to fight out the finish.

C1 – PRIX DE BREHAL – 2450m (a1m1/2) – Class F – Mounted – EUR € 21,000
- MATUVU – Modest individual that was eliminated on monte debut 10 days ago and even with shoes off has no realistic chance
- MADE IN LOVE PASS – Ran 4th to METSUYANE ERA (9) in 3 May race of reference but failed to repeat when eliminated 2 weeks later, and even with Benjamin Rochard aboard is unlikely to upset the status quo
- MISS DE BAILLE – Eliminated more often than not but is quite clearly a promising filly. Is unbeaten racing clockwise and on good behaviour will be no easy touch
- LOS PACOS – Good class of trotter that was going well when eliminated here on 25 April, but made amends a fortnight later when making short work of a Vichy Class F. Alexandre Bodin in the saddle this time and can bring the fight to METSUYANE ERA (9)
- LOVER ADEMMA – Debuts in the discipline in decent form, has previously imposed under harness here, but seems to be out of his depth
- MARBELLA CHAFS – Quality filly making first start since last November and is going to need the run
- MIA DE SIMM – Imposed under harness at Graignes in April but was eliminated next time out. Makes just 2nd appearance in the code but with Alexis Collette in the irons will not be far off the mark – if focused
- LOVE ET CASH RENKA – Has looked rather ordinary this term but is not devoid of talent. Debuts in the discipline with Paul Ploquin in the saddle and, although not a contender, is still worth monitoring
- METSUYANE ERA – Put in quite the showing on 3 May when dominating a Class E under these conditions, first time under the saddle, and a similar effort should ensure her the double
- MOLLY WHITE – Serious filly that has shown some flair for the discipline. Seldom disappoints at Caen and even though reconfigured must not be under estimated
- MEGANE DE CERISY – Debuts in the discipline after failing to confirm 21 April run under harness. Has shown a liking for Caen and, with stride in check, could pleasantly surprise
- MAXOU DIGEO – Has ample ability and was eliminated early here 11 days ago. Enjoys a good entry and Guillaume Martin gets the nod this time
Summary: METSUYANE ERA (9) was most impressive on monte debut here earlier this month, winning in a commanding style, and is eminently capable of confirming. Alexandre Abrivard will still be keeping a watchful eye on the complicated LOS PACOS (4) who has won all 4 of the races he has finished, and a reconfigured MISS DE BAILLE (3) whose return to the winners’ enclosure is just a question of time. MOLLY WHITE (10) is not about to lose her maiden tag but is plainly in form and sports a new formula.

C2 – PRIX DE JORT – 2200m (a1m1/2) – Class E Amateur Riders – Harness – EUR € 21,000 - LE GRAND AMOUR – Won 3 of 5 last summer before being sent for a break. Has yet to find his way this season though and must first re-establish his credentials
- LATINOS DU NOYER – Has been a complete write-off so far this season and has shown no sign of an imminent return to form
- LAGON DU POMMEREUX – Has been close to his race since returning from a lengthy stint out of competition and has an ideal opportunity to finally get off the mark
- LOOKING BEST – Has placed in 3 of 5 starts at the venue. Would have finished closer at Meslay earlier in the month had he not lost his action and deserves to be taken seriously
- L’ECLAIR DE PLAY – Has been acquitting himself well for the most part this year. Would be preferred barefoot but has solid Caen form and the draw will only work to his advantage
- LUKARI DE FONTAINE – Won under these very conditions last time here. Encouraged at Rambouillet mid-month, but with pads fitted looks a minor place chance at best
- LOUPIAC DE GODREL – Heavily-campaigned individual returning to racing shod after coming 5th behind L’ECLAIR DE PLAY (5) in a Rambouillet Class F 2 weeks ago. Has little love for Caen though and others easier to back
- LAFAYETTE DU BOURG – Returns to racing barefoot after running 3rd in a Rambouillet Class F a fortnight ago. Useful apprentice in the bike and will not be far off the mark if he defies the draw
- LOVIOU JOSSELYN – Good class of trotter in the other discipline. Here for a change of scenery and can be passed over
- LEFORT FLIGNY – Never far from faulting but came encouraging 4th of 5 finishers in a Vichy Class E on 16 May. Ran 3rd on sole start under these conditions and can confirm if his driver successfully negotiates the start
- LUCASSCHADEL – 22 starts and yet to get off the mark. Is one of the weakest links here and can be ignored
- LEMMING – Not the most dependable of horses but can trot when focused. Is forced to start on back line but it is only a matter of time before he gets back in the game
- LEOPARD DE LARRE – Unexceptional sort with 3 runs in him since the break, but is once again biting off more than he can chew
- LARGO D’ENFER – Gave a fine account on first objective of the season, coming 2nd of 7 in a 2400m Amiens monte Class F. Is barefoot again and, if form transitions, can play a leading role
Summary: On the sidelines for more than a year, LAGON DU POMMEREUX (3) has returned to competition in good shape, ran close here earlier in the year and, behind in earnings, looks the one to beat. François Lecathelinais will still be mindful of the poorly-drawn LARGO D’ENFER (14) who is back under harness after reassuring in the other code mid-month, and LEFORT FLIGNY (10) who gave a reassuringly good account at Vichy the same day. LOOKING BEST (4) ran 2nd over course and distance in March and the draw will only enhance his already decent prospects.

C3 – PRIX DE ROQUANCOURT – 2450m (a1m1/2) – Class D – Mounted – EUR € 24,000 - NEVE LEMAN – Eliminated in all 3 starts to date and will first need to establish his credentials
- NIRVANA LAND – Qualified unexceptionally under harness in mid-April at Meslay-du-Maine and will need to show another side
- NELSON D’ARIANE – Eliminated first time out, then last of 5 finishers in a Dozule Class G a fortnight ago, and is unlikely to generate much interest
- NEC PLUS UXIE – Stayed on well to run 4th to NEWTON DU GRENY (11) in 3 May race of reference but still has more to find
- NALTO DE FOSSAVIE – Takes to the provinces after failing to deliver in 2 Vincennes starts. 4 pads fitted this time but still not an obvious choice
- NOZAKA DU CLOS – Ran 2nd at Saint-Malo first time out but lost his action in a Class F over track and trip just over a month ago. Mathieu Mottier in the irons this time though and must not be underestimated
- NICO DU CEDRE – Eliminated more often than not but has form here, and can make first 5 if Francois Lagadeuc manages to keep him focused
- NOBEL DE LA COTE – Qualified nicely here early last month, then ran tenacious 2nd to NEWTON DU GRENY (11) in a Class E over course and distance first time out. Has been afforded time to get back in shape and will not stay a maiden for long
- NAREK – Commanding winner of a Gournay-en-Bray Class G on debut 2.5 weeks ago. Will have improved for the run and makes his Caen bow with a realistic chance of staying undefeated
- NINO DE LUNA – Takes to the discipline for the first time after having run 4th in a harness Class E over course and distance 3.5 weeks ago. Victor Saussaye in the saddle and will be worth keeping an eye on
- NEWTON DU GRENY – Left a very good impression when successful in a Class E over course and distance on 3 May. Olivier Placier back in the saddle and will be no soft touch if he keeps him trotting
- NEPTUNE D’AUVRECY – 4th in a good lot here in late-April before coming 2nd in a Vichy Class E on 11 May. Is clearly close to his race and will be expected to give NAREK (9) a run for his money
Summary: Unopposed on his debut at Gournay-en-Bray earlier in the month, NAREK (9) takes a notable hike in category but the nature of his success augurs well for a repeat. NEPTUNE D’AUVRECY (12) has done nothing but improve since returning to competition and fitting front pads could make all the difference. NEWTON DU GRENY (11) took just 2 runs to lose his maiden status and will not be available at 23-1 this time. NOBEL DE LA COTE (8) ran 2nd to him here earlier this month and will have come on for the run.

C4 – PRIX DE CAUVILLE – 2200m (a1m1/2) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 24,000 - NIKOS DE TROIS – Made up for debut elimination when comfortably winning a 2200m Class F at Le Mans on 8 May. Makes Caen bow with morale on a high and securing the double is well within his capability
- NINDALF – Placed at Lisieux in April prior to coming 5th of 6 behind NESQUIK DE BAFFAIS (7) in a 2450m Class E here on 3 May, and is unlikely to spring any surprises
- NIARKOS DU CEBE – Stayed on well to run 3rd in a 2875m Meslay-du-Maine Class E early this month. Is climbing the category-ladder in good order and has a decent chance of picking up a cheque
- NEWTON DE MONGOCHY – Moderate element making first appearance for almost 2 months. Shoes fitted and no concern
- NAZZARENO – 2nd under the saddle over course and distance on re-entry in late-March. Was eliminated under harness early this month but Franck Nivard will be hoping to set the record straight
- NOCTAMBULE PIYA – 2nd on debut before coming 3rd, a place behind NAPRIUS (9), in a Nort-sur-Erdre Class E on 8 May. May not be as good as some others here but has done everything right so far and cannot be ruled out
- NESQUIK DE BAFFAIS – Tenacious 2nd in a 2450m Class E here early this month. Should take well to the mobile start and the fitting of hind pads may be just what the doctor ordered. Claim
- NORIGANO – Eliminated more often than not but lost his maiden tag in a Saint-Malo Class F on 2 May. In more elevated company this time and chances limited
- NAPRIUS – Runner-up in both starts to date, latterly at Nort-sur-Erdre Class E on 8 May. Is reunited with Benjamin Rochard who ran 2nd with him at Alencon and is not about to disappoint. Place prospect
- NOBEL DREAM – Superb in qualification under harness last October but ran 6th to NIKOS DE TROIS (1) at Le Mans on 8 May, on debut, and will need to find more
- NORFOLK DE TILLARD – Lost his action in a Le Mans Class F early this month. Alexandre Abrivard stays faithful though and should not be overlooked
Summary: A number of interesting future prospects lining up here but preference nevertheless goes to the reconfigured NESQUIK DE BAFFAIS (7) who was impressive on debut before coming 2nd over course and distance next time. NIKOS DE TROIS (1) goes right-handed for the first time after having imposed nicely at Le Mans earlier in the month, and looks the principal danger. Competing on a hard surface for the first time after showing considerable potential, NAPRIUS (9) may not have pulled the best of numbers but he must still be afforded respect. NAZZARENO (5) enjoys a better spot behind the car and is confirmed under these conditions.

C5 – PRIX DE LASSAY – 2450m (a1m1/2) – Class E – Mounted – EUR € 31,000 - INDIGO GEDE – Always gives his best but tackles a superior field this time and is unlikely to create an upset
- JACK DRY – Good servant in the ridden code and has a race in him since returning from a lengthy layoff, but would be preferred barefoot
- GERONIMO STARDUST – Surprise 5th behind IBIZA DE CONNEE (4) in a 2450m Class F here mid-month, however a repeat seems most improbable
- IBIZA DE CONNEE – Steps marginally up in category after running 2nd in a 2450m Class F here 11 days ago. Is unlikely to repeat but will be reconfigured and with form maintained can make first 5
- JAMES OF CARLY – Faces first target of the spring after prepping under harness at Rambouillet. Placed in 1 of 2 Caen starts but sports pads this time and can be ignored
- JADE DU CEDRE – No slouch on a good day and is confirmed at Caen, but will need to improve on recent Argentan run behind JAZZMAN IDEF (14)
- JAGUAR DE KARA – Could have finished closer than 3rd in a Vichy Class E recently had he negotiated the final turn a little better. Paul Ploquin in the saddle this time and can be justifiably confident of a good run
- JACK L’EVENTREUR – Has demonstrated respectable aptitude for the discipline but sports 4 pads for the first time and looks to be out of his depth
- JAG ROYAL – Is blessed with buckets of talent but has been eliminated in all 4 starts this year and others easier to trust
- ILIEN DE VRIE – Undeniably capable but has just one run in him this year. Is confirmed here but may be taking on too much this time
- JADE DU PARC – Has a race under her belt since the short spell. Has a tendency to do well here when barefoot and is unlikely to return home empty-handed
- JERIKA DE KERYANN – Returns to the provinces after being eliminated at Vincennes mid-month. Mathieu Mottier aboard for the first time and can play a leading role
- JUST A COUET – Makes monte debut with a top jockey in the irons. Has no references in the code but is expected to take well to the new conditions
- JAZZMAN IDEF – Has been consistently in the thick of things this term and has a particular appreciation for Caen. Has not imposed since last September but can nevertheless finish close
- HYM SUBLIGNAIS – Nicely-engaged here and barefoot for his first objective of the year, but would have better prospects a level down
- JACK SURPRISE – Tenacious winner of an Enghien Class E late last month, on return to the code. Has been afforded ample time to get back to his best and has every chance of repeating
Summary: Winner at Enghien a month back, on his first monte start of the year, JACK SURPRISE (16) benefits from a terrific entry and is in with a realistic chance of doubling up. Mathis Champenois will still want to be wary of the Mathieu Mottier-partnered JERIKA DE KERYANN (12) who will be a tough nut to crack if she stays in stride, and JAZZMAN IDEF (14) who is a model of consistency in this branch of the game. JUST A COUET (13) is new to the discipline but has been showing his form and will be ridden by Alexandre Abrivard.

C6 – PRIX DE BANVILLE – 2450m (a1m1/2) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 21,000 - MILONGA PLANCHETTE – Has yet to demonstrate any aptitude for the harness discipline and can be confidently disregarded
- MARIE DE L’AUNAY – Placed here on 19 March but out of the picture in next 2 starts, and will be fitted with shoes this time
- MA BEAUTE – Was going well when eliminated in an Angers Class F a fortnight ago. David Thomain in the bike this time and, with application, can get a look in
- MARMARA BLEUE – Got down to business in a Lisieux Class F 10 days ago when barefoot for the first time. Shoes off once more and, with form maintained, can double her money
- MAYWENN DU GUERET – Won on comeback at Evreux on 1 May, then repeated at Amiens a fortnight later. Is new to Caen but should take well to these conditions and must be considered a contender
- MOMINETTE – Showed promise at 3 but has looked rather ordinary this season and will have few friends
- MALAVISTA SOMOLLI – Moderate filly that has yet to deliver right-handed but has merit. Sports a fresh configuration but is unlikely to spring any surprises
- MA DOUCE DE DALINE – Goes barefoot for the first time, and returns to racing clockwise, after having held her own in a Laval Class E on 29 April. Mathieu Mottier back in the bike and cannot be discounted
- MALINE DE JED – Ran surprise 2nd at Maure-de-Bretagne 2.5 weeks ago but failed to repeat when pulled-up at Vire 9 days later, and others preferred
- MIBORA BUISSONAY – In the frame in 2 of last 3 starts, most recently 3rd at Fougeres. Top pilot drafted in for the occasion and is unlikely to let the side down. Place chance
- MA BELLA DE JED – Kicked the year off nicely but has subsequently come off the boil. Is barefoot for Caen debut but still not a concern
- MUTINE DE L’ITON – Has taken her game to a new level this term, and ran 2nd over course and distance in late-March. Is unlikely to get her nose in front but with Yoann Lebourgeois reining should not be overlooked
- MACHA D’OCCAGNES – Got back in the game at Graignes a month ago when competitively-shod for the first time. Has won 2 of 4 going right-handed and makes her Caen debut with a good hand to play
- MENEUSE DE HOUELLE – Tricky element that has twice failed to confirm her Reims victory. Is nicely-engaged though, and races barefoot, but still not an obvious choice
- MELROSE DES VAUX – In the frame in both starts this term but takes on an elevated lot here and chances appear slim
- MAURITANIE – Returns to a hard surface after winning 2 straight at Alencon. Alain Lelodet could not have wished for a better entry and will be eager to make hay
Summary: Even though she showed potential last year, it was not until 10 days ago that MARMARA BLEUE (4) lost her maiden status, but she did it in such a style that a repeat looks distinctly possible. She will still encounter resistance from MAYWENN DU GUERET (5) who has turned a corner since starting to race barefoot. Winner of both starts this year, picking up where she left off, MAURITANIE (16) enjoys a very good entry and despite the hike in category still looks a player. MIBORA BUISSONAY (10) has been knocking at the door, is confirmed here, and has been reconfigured for the occasion.

C7 – PRIX DE BLONVILLE – 2450m (a1m1/2) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 21,000 - MIRACULOUS DANOVER – Late developer that was soundly beaten in a Lisieux Class F 10 days ago and in this category has no possible chance
- MAHATMA DANICA – Has yet to get off the mark but always gives his best. Held his own at Angers a fortnight ago and is similar form will not be going home empty-handed
- MY NAME IS FLASH – Took some time to come into himself but has simply thrived since. Gave a good account here recently despite missing the break and will be well-backed to win this
- MILOR DES CAILLONS – Useful type but has better references in the claiming category and is unlikely to set off any fireworks
- MYSTIC D’AVE – Lost his way late last season and has picked up this term where he left off. Is first-time barefoot but still seems to be out of his league
- MAMBO DU MIREL – Moves back up in category after running 2nd in a 2675m Class F at Le Mont-Saint-Michel mid-month. Is not a priority but has never disappointed racing clockwise and is unlikely to begin now
- MYSTERE DES ARRIS – Opened his 2026 tab at Gournay-en-Bray in March, then ran 3rd in a 2450m Class E here 3.5 weeks ago. Is unlikely to shake things up but is still worth keeping an eye on
- MARHABATH – Has evident ability and won at Amiens last month, but at this level will need to find more
- MOGADOR – Still chasing that elusive maiden victory, and has placed just 3 times in 16 starts. Not a concern
- MAESTRO BLANC – Ran 3rd over course and distance on comeback earlier in the season but has been less-productive in 2 since. Top pilot at the helm and will be afforded every chance. Place prospect
- MINOS DES CHARRONS – Capable on a good day but eliminated in both starts this term. Goes first-time barefoot, with his handler reining, and can get a look in if he keeps his action together
- MAKAO DE REVE D’OR – Strangely lacklustre in a Class E over track and trip a month back but has been re-shod and David Thomain will have redemption on his agenda
- MATCH LOVE – Not the most reliable but has ample ability which he displayed at Chartres 3 weeks ago. Is not the best horse here but benefits from a superb entry and Franck Nivard will be keen to deliver
Summary: Well-regarded at home and clearly in fine shape, MY NAME IS FLASH (3) is a class above most here and Yoann Lebourgeois will be keen to prove the point. Oddly below-par here last month after winning 3 on the trot, the well-engaged MAKAO DE REVE D’OR (12) has been reconfigured and represents the main threat. Just 190 Euros from elimination, MATCH LOVE (13) showed his form at Chartres and a similar effort would see him contest another place on the podium. Considerably better than recent results would suggest, MAESTRO BLANC (10) reverts to his Meslay formula and has been entrusted to Alexandre Abrivard for the occasion.

C8 – PRIX DES TROIS MONTS – 2200m (a1m1/2) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 27,000 - KELOMA DREAM – Won over course and distance earlier in the season but has placed just once in 4 subsequent starts. Enjoys a good entry though and recent Le Mans result should not be taken at face value
- KER MIEL – Has been excelling since coming 5th here on 5 March. Will be barefoot this time though and from the 2 slot can open his Caen account
- KOKO DU CANTER – Is new to the venue but has taken little time returning to winning ways. Has never disappointed in the day’s configuration and is unlikely to start now. Chance
- KING DE LARRE – Went into his winter break on a high note but has been a total write-off since and can be confidently ruled out
- JURA – Imposed on comeback but less performant in next 2. Has shown a liking for Caen though and breaking from the 5 slot will do his prospects no disservice
- KAPLA DEVOL – Serious sort that has yet to disappoint here. Faces first real target of the season, benefits from a superb entry, and is unlikely to be far off the mark
- JEEP DE DALINE – Moderate trotter making first appearance since last December and with shoes fitted is unlikely to influence the outcome
- KAISER DE MORTREE – Got the season off to a decent start but has since lost his way. Starts wide on the front line and will have little to offer on his Caen bow
- JOYAU DU RIB – Was in cracking form this time last year but has made little impact since and the draw will not help matters
- KIMI DU DOME – Hardy element that seldom lets the side down when focused. Has nothing to prove at this level and even though shod, should not be overlooked
- KANAK DU BOCAGE – Has been off the boil since returning to competition, latterly unplaced in an amateurs Class F in Paris 12 days ago, and is unlikely to trouble the judge
- JINGLE PASS – Has looked decidedly ordinary so far this term and once again finds himself in superior company
- JOYCE PILE – Over recent weeks, has been a shadow of her former self and must first reaffirm
- KAMTCHATKA – Fine mare that lost her way late last season, and has picked up this term where she left off
- KLUEDO DE L’AVRE – Sent for a rest after being pulled-up at Vire last November. Is clearly in conditioning-mode and will not be given a hard race
- KARLA MELODY – Capable mare starting for first time since mid-December. Stays shod and will have other ambitions
- JAB KISS – Has not won for some time but has been acquitting himself honourably. Has previously imposed here though and while not a priority can nonetheless play a small part
- KEA DES RACQUES – Winner at Reims last month before being eliminated at Vichy when clearly going good-guns. Alexis Collette reins for the first time though and will be dangerous if he successfully negotiates the start and keeps her trotting
Summary: Wonderfully consistent and clearly at the top of his game, KER MIEL (2) did not enjoy the best of trips here in March but is better-positioned this time and Benjamin Rochard will be in the bike. The pair will be directly opposed by the in-form and reconfigured KOKO DU CANTER (3) who starts upside. The complicated KEA DES RACQUES (18) has been showing her form, has been re-shod, and despite a tough draw could nevertheless turn the tables on KELOMA DREAM (1) who had her measure here earlier in the year. Second of the Sassier runners, KAPLA DEVOL (6) has a race under his belt and is well-placed to give this a good go.
