    Summary: GLANWORTH (4) takes a big drop in class and could be worth an each way play. His current form against stronger doesn’t jump off the page but he could find best form in this event. SIMPLY LOVELY (5) has steadily improved on his efforts this year with his best run coming last time out and he could go one better. CIAO PA’ (2) hasn’t been disgraced in recent efforts and has the right credentials to be very competitive in a race of this nature. BAILEYS BACHELOR (3) is another who drops in class and can produce a better finish.

    Summary: CENTAURI (2) has been facing far better opponents and will relish this drop in class. He sets a relatively high standard and should be hard to beat. SCHACHEN (3) has some solid form figures to his name and appears to be the only threat to the top choice. WESTMINSTER COYOTE (4) wasn’t disgraced last time out and should be in the minor spots. SPARKS OF LOVE (6) is best of the rest and can place at best on overall form.

    Summary: ZILRAK (1) met stronger last time out and ran with plenty of credit. He finds himself in a winnable contest and should go very close to victory. SAPRISTI (6) is better than his form reads and will be more at home in a race of this nature. Expect him to find his form. JANAH (10) dominated her opposition last time out and despite meeting a bit stronger, she could be one to follow. BURLINGTON ARCADE (12) returns off a lengthy layoff but has shown to have a fair amount of ability and will be competitive.

    Summary: SAINT LAURENT (8) is back up in trip for this assignment and has leading claims. His only win to date came over a similar trip with Mikael Barzalona in the irons and with him getting aboard again, he will be looking to make it 2-2. FLEUR D’ORANGER (2) has produced some pleasing runs to date and handicapping could just be his game. He is open to major improvement. AUSTRALIAN ROMANCE (12) slots in with a handy galloping weight and on the back of her best effort to date, she will have a say in the outcome. ELUSIVE WAY (1) notched up her maiden win last time out and may find it a bit tougher with top weight but can be competitive with more to offer.

  54. HO HOLY MOLY – Not disgraced when 5th on debut in a Conditions race at Saint-Cloud over 2000m on 1 May. Can challenge for top honours
  55. NO TURNING BACK – A three-year-old filly by Kendargent out of Glittering Crystal who is making her debut. Her dam only raced once and was placed third. Monitor the betting
  56. SONNY ANGEL – A three-year-old filly by Too Darn Hot out of Frida Gold who is making her debut. Her dam never won a race after 3 starts. Could need this experience
    Summary: Entered in the Group 1 Prix de Diane, NONNABELLA (7) made an encouraging debut when third and should not be long in getting off the mark. She will, however, need to get the better of RADMILLA (6), a sister to the smart Rosacea who is sure to improve on her debut. MENNULA (5), who is best judged on a promising debut. With a good run through, NEBULAE (1) is capable of finishing strongly and also commands plenty of respect.

    Summary: TI AMO BELLO (9) has been hindered by wide draws in his first two attempts in this company but has finished well on both occasions. This time he breaks from stall one, a clear advantage at ParisLongchamp inner track. COSY BEAR (6), ultra-consistent since switching to handicaps and representing a yard in red-hot form at this level, looks a major contender. BOX OFFICER (7), TOO DARN QUICK (11) and MUST BAY (1), respectively third, fourth and winner of the key race at Saint-Cloud on 1 May, are all capable of scoring.

  77. ROYAL SHAKE – On a long losing run and finished tenth in a handicap at Lyon-Parilly over 1600m on 8 May. Did better last year and has a chance in his line-up
  78. ZODD – Yet to win a race and finished 7th in a Conditions race at Lyon-La Soie over 2400m on 24 February. Might be better on the PSF
  79. SIGNORA BELLISSIMA – Has only been modest of late and finished 8th in this division at this course over 2100m on 14 May. Can be a threat over this shorter distance
    Summary: ROYAL SHAKE (5) has had two runs under his belt this year and drops in class with high hopes of breaking a long losing streak.SIGNORA BELLISSIMA (7) is likely to improve on her reappearance and should be better suited by this distance. KING THISTLE (3) and WHATAHERO (1), who filled the first two places in a claiming race last week, will be looking to challenge for top honours over this course and distance.

  83. RASHEED – Has shown improvement of late and was runner-up in a handicap at Saint-Cloud over 2400m on 5 May. Should fight out the finish once again
  84. BRIDGE OF TEARS – Showed some improvement when third in a Conditions race at Dieppe over 3000m on 16 May. More is needed to beat these rivals
  85. LA JUSTICIERE – Did not show her best when 12th in a handicap at Saint-Cloud over 2400m on 5 May. Needs to find a few lengths to win
  86. AVALON – Improving and was victorious in a Conditions race at Le Lion-d’Angers over 3000m on 7 May. Tougher task but cannot be ruled out
    Summary: A competitive lucky last race. LIGHT OF THUNDER (3) has finished on the podium three times from four starts in handicaps and, proven at this level, could take another step forward over this longer trip. BOGLIASCO (1), a recent maiden winner at Lyon-Parilly, heads the opposition along with the in-form RASHEED (4), while MOONEY VISION (2), who produced a pleasing late effort at Saint-Cloud earlier this month, also enters calculations.

C1 – PRIX FRANCE BLEU MAYENNE – 2875m (a2m) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 20,000

  1. MELLINA DE MAI – Unremarkable filly that seldom makes her presence felt and is not about to start now
  2. MOI PLUS TOI – Has failed to make much of an impact in 3 starts since imposing at Challans in February. Shoes fitted and no threat
  3. MASSETTA BELLA – Will be shod to preference after having prepped at Laval a month back. Imposed under these conditions late last season and, with stride in check, can get in on the action
  4. MADISHA JOSSELYN – Showed promise last season but has looked decidedly ordinary so far this term and will have nothing to offer
  5. MONONOKE DE BRETT – Lost her maiden status at Lisieux 11 days ago when comfortably securing a Class F, but is taking on too much this time
  6. MUSE DU VALLON – Useful sort that has demonstrated decent aptitude for racing right-handed. Showed her form at Angers earlier in the month and can play a leading role if kept out of harm’s way
  7. MELODY DU DIGEON – Won over course and distance on re-entry in early-April. Less effective in next 2 though and in this company looks no more than a minor place prospect
  8. MISS DAM LORRAINE – Has shown notable improvement since beginning to race barefoot, latterly runner-up in a Saint-Brieuc Class E late last month. Is in better company here but has a lot more to offer and must be respected
  9. MAGIA LA TRIGALE – Has been enjoying a decent run of form, latterly 4th in a Vire Class E 10 days ago, and will not be available at 72-1 this time
  10. MAISY DU DONJON – Races competitively-shod for the first time after having held her own in 2 recent clockwise training runs. Franck Nivard in the bike here and is very hard to ignore
  11. MINERVE DE VANDEL – Unlucky at Laval in February, last time under harness, but has twice since excelled in the other code. Barefoot for return to racing right-handed and Eric Raffin will be keen to put things right
  12. MARINA DE FAEL – Useful filly that was given an introduction to racing clockwise on comeback on 11 May. Will have been well-schooled at home and should be more than capable of winning this
    Summary: Although still a bit green last year, MARINA DE FAEL (12) nevertheless showed considerable potential. Given an easy re-entry at Argentan 2.5 weeks ago, she races barefoot for the first time and, if applied, can wrap this up. Théo Duvaldestin will still want to be wary of MUSE DU VALLON (6) who would have finished close at Angers last month had she not suffered interference, and MAISY DU DONJON (10) who has been reconfigured for her first real objective of the spring. MISS DAM LORRAINE (8) has taken her game up a notch recently and is patently close to her race.

  13. NIGHT QUEEN – Untried filly that was never pushed in qualification last summer. Has had time to come into herself and will be worth monitoring first time out
  14. NAUSICAA DEUGE – Has yet to show any particular flair for the harness game and is unlikely to create an upset
  15. NUANCE DE STAR – Debuted nicely at Tours in early-April but has failed to make her mark in 2 since and will have few friends
  16. NOUMEA DU CHATELET – Has already raced 13 times, has yet to finish closer than 5th, and can be confidently passed over
  17. NAGOYA DE LOU – Made up somewhat for first 2 starts, when 2nd in a Gournay-en-Bray Class G 2.5 weeks ago. Will be pitted against better this time but still merits respect
  18. NOUSHANA – Takes on a better bunch after having run 2nd on debut 2 weeks ago at Le Grand-Fougeray. Beat a number of colts that day and will generate some interest
  19. NIKITA DE BEAUM – Qualified respectably here last November, ran 2nd on debut at Neuillé-Pont-Pierre late last month, but others easier to back on this occasion
  20. NOVA ODESSA HAUFOR – Well-related filly that ran 2nd in a 2525m Class G at Savigny-sur-Braye on debut a fortnight back. Faces a tougher bunch here but is clearly a good future prospect and unlikely to disappoint. Chance
  21. NOCCIOLINA – Made up for being eliminated on debut at Chartres when close 2nd in a Saint-Malo Class F early last month. Comes here fresh, with Alexis Collette reining, and will be no easy touch
  22. NINA PRIMO – Yet to deliver this term but showed considerable promise on debut at Cabourg last December. Is unlikely to open her account but will be fit and, with application, can pick up some prizemoney
  23. NIKITA JAMES – Ran 3rd at Ecommoy first time out, then repeated behind NOVA ODESSA HAUFOR (8) at Savigny-sur-Braye 2 weeks ago. Trainer back in the bike and can again finish close
  24. NACRE DE MOUTIERS – Gave a fine account first time out, running 2nd in a Lisieux Class F on 17 May. Should appreciate the new conditions and will be well-backed to impose
    Summary: Runner-up at Lisieux recently on her debut, NACRE DE MOUTIERS (12) will be entrusted to Eric Raffin for the occasion and could well get off the mark this time. NOVA ODESSA HAUFOR (8) moves to a hard surface after having debuted nicely on turf and similarly warrants respect. NOVA ODESSA HAUFOR (8) finished a place behind her that day and can again figure prominently, but may first have to see off NOVA ODESSA HAUFOR (8) who will be sporting pads for the first time.

  27. NOTRE PRINCE – Was well-beaten on debut when 6th of 13 in a Cholet Class F on 1 May, and will need to find significantly more
  28. NARUTO UZUMAKI – Gave a good account on re-entry at Le Mont-Saint-Michel, coming 4th in a Class F mid-month. Will have come on for the race and will have his supporters

  34. NOTTINGHAM PLACE – Sports 4 pads for the first time after coming 5th, a place behind NOAH DES MALBERAUX (5), in a Saint-Malo Class F early this month, and will not be sent out at 234-1 on this occasion
    Summary: NOMADE BOY (9) gave a fine account on debut at Challans late last month, will have progressed for the run, and can get off the mark this time. Eric Raffin will still be keeping a keen eye on well-regarded debutant NORTH RIM (1) who posted the second-fastest qualifying time, and the promising Sassier-trained NABUCCO JOSSELYN (6) who did everything asked of him on debut recently. Even though eliminated on his racecourse bow, NUAGE D’ENFER (2) nevertheless showed his form and Alexis Collette will be at the helm this time.

  38. MONCOEUR DE DYPP – Won a Reims Class F on re-entry early last month, at 28-1. Unsurprisingly failed to confirm at Laval next time and can be passed over
  39. MIRACLE D’ALEXIANE – Showed serious form prior to being sent for a rest. Gave a good account at Nantes on comeback, will be reunited with Benjamin Rochard, and should not let the side down
  40. MOJI DE VANDEL – 2nd over course and distance on re-entry mid-March. Has not been as sharp in 2 subsequent outings but cannot be discounted either
  41. MORPHEUS DE GUEZ – Has picked up this year where he left off in 2025. Just missed out at Cholet last month and certainly has the wherewithal to get his nose in front this time
  42. MADE IN MOUROTAIS – In the frame in 2 of last 3, most recently 2nd in an Angers Class F earlier in the month. Beaten only by a very good horse that day and it will not be long before he trots his way back into the winners’ circle
  43. MUST PLEIN CHENE – Made up for April elimination when 3rd of 13, a place behind MAESTRO VET (13), in a 2450m Caen Class E on 16 May. Is not a priority but can nevertheless make his presence felt
  44. MEARAS PAULOIS – Sent for a spell after winning 2 on the trot, and ran excellent 3rd in an Angers Class E on re-entry early last month. Will have improved for the race and may just prove the main danger to MORPHEUS DE GUEZ (7)
  45. MIRAGE DE BRAY – Won twice last summer but has failed to make much of an impact over recent weeks and must first reaffirm
  46. MILTON DU CHATELET – Has yet to deliver in 3 starts this term. Has been re-shod for the occasion but still looks an outsider
  47. MAESTRO VET – Made up for Cholet blip when close 2nd in a Caen Class E 12 days ago. Is unlikely to lose his maiden tag but can still trot his way onto the podium
  48. MIRABILIS VRIE – Hardy colt that was given an easy re-entry at Le Mans a week ago. Will have come on for the run and, considering the entry, should have a reasonable shout at picking up a first-5 payout
  49. MAESTRO DES SARTS – Benefits from a terrific entry here but has not been seen out since December and will have nothing to contribute
    Summary: A fine servant that has already produced the goods for Eric Raffin, MORPHEUS DE GUEZ (7) has yet to fulfil his full potential and is easy to like for the win. The champion driver will be mindful though of Anthony Dollion’s progressive MEARAS PAULOIS (10) who gave a very good account of herself on comeback here in early-April, and the in-form, well-engaged, and reconfigured, MAESTRO VET (13) who has proved himself over course and distance. MADE IN MOUROTAIS (8) has been knocking at the door and steps back up in category with a realistic chance of finishing in the mix.

  59. KANDIE DJOB – Good servant for the most part when she can stay focused. Reassured at Jullouville-les-Pins recently and even though shod, should not be overlooked

    Summary: An excellent campaigner when barefoot and focused, KISS ATOUT (5) reassured at Laon recently and, at home racing clockwise, can win this. JUNON DES ROSES (1), though, is plainly on the right road and will not go down without a fight. The complicated KETAMINE D’UZE (2) won her only start here, is competitively-shod for her first objective of the year, and must be taken seriously. KELLY GEDE (7) has shown a liking for these conditions and in current condition is difficult to ignore.

    Summary: Difficult to knock when focused, and already a winner for Eric Raffin, LOOKING BOY (10) reassured at Vire recently and can bring home the bacon if he stays trotting. LET’S GO HAUFOR (5) may not be the easiest horse to use but he has a pair of runs in him since the break and will be shod to preference. LOOK DES CAILLONS (7) has shown improvement since starting to race barefoot and looks competitive once more. KANGAE DE GUEZ (2) opened her monte account 2 weeks ago and Jean-Yann Ricart will be out to prove it was no flash in the pan.   106. MANU DU GASSEL – Victorious in class F at Le Grand-Fougeray over 2750m on 14 May. Much improved since going barefoot and could make the frame
  107. MAKING TIME – Disqualified in two of last three starts, including last time out in class E at Caen over 2450m on 30 March. Victorious earlier in March and is capable of an upset
  108. MANUREVA TEAM – Disqualified twice in a row, the latest in class F at Laon over 2550m on 17 May. Yet to win and needs to find a few lengths to beat these rivals
  109. MUSTANG VENESI – Needed his only run of this year when 9th in class F at Lyon-Parilly over 2850m on 21 May. Fitter this time but others are preferred
  110. MONSIEUR DARLING – Disqualified in class F at Lignieres over 2825m on 17 May. Usually competitive and can get involved with the finish if smart
  111. MAVRIK CHICHEVET – Not disgraced when 5th in class F over this track and trip on 18 May. Quite capable of earning some money
    Summary: A very interesting lucky last race. Thriving at present, MISTER DES LOYAUX (1) looks capable of completing a hat-trick. Transformed since racing barefoot, MIAMI DES BROUETS (3) appears the one most likely to challenge the selection. Fitted without shoes on all four feet for the first time, MISTRAL D’ASNOIS (7) has his wide draw to overcome. MONSIEUR DARLING (14) is consistent and will be looking to restore his reputation.
