The Gleneagles colt made a winning debut in a Newbury novice and immediately jumped up to Group Two level on his next start in what looked a good renewal of the Superlative Stakes at Newmarket.
He ran with credit when fourth, three and a half lengths behind winner Al Hudaiba, who edged Aidan O’Brien’s highly regarded Abraham Lincoln by a short head, with Chesham fifth Pikachu in third.
Rated 98 and seemingly versatile ground-wise, Silver Dominion has the highest official mark in this seven-furlong contest and the Jim and Fitri Hay-owned juvenile should have too much if running to that standard.
Al Azd AS – 4.05
has been productive over a mile and a half and should again give his running when he goes in the Sodexo Live! Handicap.
Trained by Roger Varian, the three-year-old has one of the top handlers in the country in the staying division on his side and his reputation has grown in a busy campaign.
The son of Dubawi has only finished outside the top two once in seven starts this year, posting a career-best at Royal Ascot when finding only Enceladus too much in the King George V Stakes.
With Varian in his corner and in-form Ray Dawson in the saddle he can continue his progression.

course and distance experience will be a huge benefit in the John Guest Racing Brown Jack Handicap.
After finishing midfield on two starts this year, the five-year-old son of Frankel returned to form with a runner-up spot at Ascot last time out.
Dylan Cunha’s charge has not raced over two miles since his course and distance success last August and a return to this trip could be the difference.

She was only two lengths behind See The Fire on her reappearance over course and distance and was headed on the line when defending her Newcastle Group Three crown last month. Her mark of 112 is clear from the rest of the field.

is a half-sister to five-furlong winners Manatee Mehmas and Tiva and is an interesting two-year-old newcomer at this time of year for Sir Mark Prescott in the Chasemore Farm EBF Maiden Fillies’ Stakes at Sandown.
