    Summary: PARACHUTISTE (4) was a decent second on his latest start in the Prix Maurice De Nieuil (Gr.2) at Parislongchamp when last seen in mid-July and has strong claims for going one place better today. His main threat could be TENABILITY (2), who scored in a Listed race at Goodwood (UK) on his latest start in June and seems to be improving. PRESAGE NOCTURNE (3) finds it hard to run a bad race and won well in a Listed race at Lyon Parilly in late June on his latest start and can have a say at the business end. ORACLE (5) heads the rest.

KENTUCKY RAIN (3) scored in a conditions race in the UK on her latest outing and commands respect. ROXELINA (4) appeals as the best of the rest.

    Summary: SAXON VILLAGE (1) won gamely in a Class 2 handicap at Compiègne on his latest start and holds strong claims of following up. His main threat may be AMIDARGENT (5), who has slipped to a workable mark since scoring off a higher rating last October. MARHARRY (4) has been in good form on his last two outings, including a victory at Compiègne in June on his penultimate start, and is difficult to overlook. HONEY PEARL (7) arrives on the back of a win at Vichy in late July and can play a leading role despite a rise in the weights. WICKED (8) completes the shortlist.

  38. FAHRENHEIT – Colt by Hello Youmzain, the dam won 3 races. Bought for 130,000 euros and from a trainer that knows the time of day. The betting can be the most informative guide
  39. TORTSANLOT – Colt by Thunder Moon, the dam was placed a few times.The booking of leading rider Maxime Guyon catches the eye and he is one to watch closely in the betting for any market moves
  40. GOUYAR – Colt by Minzaal, the dam won 1 race in Ireland. Stable runners tend to need a run or two to reach full fitness and he can improve for this outing
  41. ELMO PUTNEY – Colt by Saxon Warrior, the dam won 1 race and was Listed placed in Germany. Nice profile and he is worth a market inspection for any support
    Summary: CRITICAL THINKER (5) is from the Fabre powerhouse and has a taking pedigree. He will be nicely tuned and a bold show can be expected. His main threat could be CHARGED (7), who is a half-brother to Sunly (Listed and Group 3) winner. He is from a trainer that excels with newcomers. TORTSANLOT (9) has the assistance of Maxime Guyon and is worth a market check on his debut, as is FAHRENHEIT (8), who was a 130,000 euros purchase and looks good on paper and could be useful.

  44. GEMINI – Dam was a winner of three over 2200m/2400m with a Listed race in Germany. Siblings have won race and one to included
  45. MAJESTIC PEARL – Dam was unraced and there aren’t any siblings to compare here to. From a leading yard so warrants a market check
  46. SEA DIAMOND – Dam was unraced and this daughter of Seabhac will more than likely benefit from a few runs. Hard ask on debut
  47. MABROUKA – Dam raced three times without winning and this filly is a half sister to La Maritza who has won twice over 1400m/1600m. Could benefit from the run

  50. MAYRA – Dam won once over 1200m and this filly is related to two winners over 1200m. Top rider engaged so worth a market check
  51. MUHARA MOON – Dam was unraced and this filly doesn’t appear as a likely debut winner. Others make more appeal first up
  52. SOLEA – Dam won twice in Australia over 2000m and this filly is likely looking for further. Easy to look elsewhere
  53. KRITIC – Dam won three times over 1800m/2000m and this included a win at Listed level. Full sister to Rumoriste, winner over 2100m/2400 in Listed company. Big claims first up
    Summary: This could be a very warm race for these debutants and SUCRE NABAT (7) makes a great deal of appeal on paper. This daughter of Dubawi should know the business first time and will be in the firing line. KRITIC (12) is a nicely bred filly by Frankel and hails from a yard who can ready them up on debut. She will run a big race. GEMINI (3) is a daughter of the talented Baaeed and her female line makes for good reading. LAILISSA (2) is for the powerful Aga Khan stud and is another who could make her presence felt on debut.

    Summary: VICTOIRE MAGIQUE (5) sets a very good standard on his latest performance and rates the one they all need to beat. AERONEF (6) has turned the corner this year and goes in search of that hat-trick. He has more to come and will rate a serious threat. BOX OFFICER (3) is in fine touch at present and despite bumping into a couple useful sorts, he will play a strong hand in the outcome. BARZAMBITION (2) is hard to fault and can only progress straight out the maidens.

    Summary: DACHKOVA (8) just found one too good last time out and she will be looking to go one better. She rises in trip and this could unlock further improvement. ABBEY ROAD (9) performed with plenty of credit last time out and will enjoy reverting back to the turf where she can find a length or two. LA MANDALA (1) is a mare who has hit her straps nicely and should be bang there at the line. ROSA INGLESA (7) is holding excellent international form and will make her presence felt in this company.

    Summary: HADITOUNI (10) put his hooves in all the right places as he landed victory last time out and with Mikael Barzalona is the irons once again, he can go back to back. LIGHTNING RAID (6) has been holding solid form ever since his second outing and with a bit of luck in running, he should go well. MON BLACK DU LIVET (9) has produced three excellent runs off late and ticks a lot of boxes here. LEOPARDUCCIO (1) has been dropping in the ratings and showed improvement last time out which can stand him in good stead here.

MERMOZ (3), who finished fourth that day, returns to this category with strong claims. Making his debut at this modest level, MADE IN CASTELETS (5) can also be competitive in a tricky race.

    Summary: ONYX D’AVRIL (6) made a poor start on debut but recovered well to finish fourth. If he begins better this time, he has the ability to fight for victory. OLIVIO BELLO (8) showed a good turn of foot to finish second on his first outing and should soon open his account. Among the newcomers, OR DES KALOUMA (2), partnered by Benjamin Rochard, and OLARIUS (1), from a stable that does well with young horses, both deserve close attention.

  70. NAYKO DE LA CRIERE – Disqualified in Class E at Cabourg over 2750m on 31 July. Quite capable of being competitive if staying in stride this time around
  71. NELSON DE BELLANDE – Disqualified in a Class F over this track and trip on 13 April. Returns from a break and could need this run
  72. NIKOS DALY – Showed some improvement and was a runner-up in Class F at Carentan over 2850m on 26 July. Capable of earning some more money
  73. NUIT AGITEE – In very good form and was runner-up in a Class E at Bernay over 2,300m on 12 July. Can get into the mix of things again
  74. NORFOLK DE TILLARD – Unreliable and finished 6th in a Class E at Enghien over 2,150m on 26 July. Capable of making the frame
  75. NORMAND D’AMOUR – Has been disqualified in both starts, the latest in a Class E at Cherbourg over 2,550m on 14 June. Highly regarded and could score if staying in stride
    Summary: If NORMAND D’AMOUR (9) stays on a trot, he certainly has the ability to dominate such a field. In case of another disappointment, it looks very open, NIRVANA GRIFF (2) shouldn’t be written off too quickly and is a threat. NEFERT D’ALESA (3), who is improving rapidly, and NORFOLK DE TILLARD (8), a consistent performer, are the most capable of rising to the challenge.

  79. LA GARBO – Finished 5th in a Class D at Enghien over 2,250m on 1 August. Not reliable but is capable of earning some more money
  80. LADY DE GREZ – Returned to form and was 3rd in Class F at Carentan over 2875m on 26 July. Can make the frame once again
  81. LORD DE VANDEL – Holding form and finished fourth in a Class E at Dinan over 2,950m on 3 August. Might play a minor role at very best
  82. LACINIA – Disqualified twice in a row, the latest in a Class E at Le Mans over 2,950m on 8 May. Returns from a break and could need this run
  83. LOU DES COUPERIES – Disqualified in a Class E at Rambouillet over 2,800m on 5 July. In good form before that and should be a threat if staying in stride
  84. LOU D’ECROVILLE – Finished 8th in a Class E at Chatelaillon over 2,500m on 27 July. Off form and needs to find a few lengths to score
  85. LARGO DE LA BESSE – Outclassed the opposition in a Class E at Mont St Michel – Pontorson over 2,675m on 30 June. Successful in three of last five starts and can win again
  86. KSAR LUDOIS – Disqualified twice in a row, the latest in class H at Luxe over 2700m on 1 August. Hard to trust and others are preferred
  87. KIVIANA – Only modest of late, finishing 9th in a Class F Apprentices’ race at Cabourg over 2,750m on 7 July. Needs to do more to score
    Summary: In top form, LARGO DE LA BESSE (10) has freshened up for this favorable engagement and looks formidable. He will have to contend with LOU DES COUPERIES (8), whose disqualification on grass should be disregarded, and LOVE ET CASH RENKA (2), who is also improving. LADY DE GREZ (5) always run her races and will be in the mix. of things in this lucky last race.
