is expected to open her account at the third time of asking in the National Racehorse Week 2026 EBF Fillies’ Novice Stakes.
A fair fourth on her Catterick debut suggested she had enough ability to win a race somewhere and she came mighty close on her second start over this course and distance, going down by a short head to Celestia, who herself had made an encouraging start to her career at Newmarket.
Given Celestia was not disgraced in finishing a two-length fourth in the Listed Star Stakes next time, that form looks pretty solid and it will be a bit disappointing if Ed Bethell’s Rogue Passion is unable to win a race of this nature.
Onslaught CL – 3.45
has to be of interest in the Colin Parker Raceday 1st Nov Nursery Handicap.
While the Minzaal colt has not exactly pulled up any trees so far, he has progressed from a pretty uninspiring debut to finish third on his last two starts.
He now moves into handicap company off a mark of 70 and is interestingly fitted with blinkers for the first time.
Billy Loughnane has a decent book of rides at Lingfield, the pick of which could be the returning

in the British Stallion Studs EBF Fillies’ Handicap.
The Farhh filly looked a really exciting prospect for the Highclere Thoroughbred Racing team when making a winning debut at Yarmouth last summer, but she was then beaten at long odds-on at Salisbury and then finished tailed off at Ayr.
Having returned injured, she has not been seen in competitive action since, but with George Boughey’s string continuing to fire on all cylinders she remains of intrigue ahead of her comeback.
Return To Unit HM – 7.00
catches the eye as Roger Varian’s only runner at Hamilton.
The four-year-old bolted up in first-time blinkers at Nottingham in June and an 8lb rise is unlikely to be enough to stop him following up in the Kinrara Distillery Scottish Trophy Handicap.

Ralph Beckett’s youngster made a winning start to his career at Newbury and was a short price to follow up at Thirsk on his return from a gelding operation and three months off, but he was turned over by Blakey Ridge.
Time may tell he had plenty on his plate conceding a penalty to a decent sort and he was six lengths clear of the rest.
Faced with just two rivals in the Midlands, he can get back on the winning trail.
