  7. PROXIMA DU CENTAUR – Came home 4th in a Group 2 at Longchamp over 2,400m on 14 July 2026 on her last outing. Others rate higher
    Summary: DISPATCHES (6) ran with plenty of credit when finishing third in the Prix de Malleret (Gr.2) at ParisLongchamp last month, having won her previous two races this year. She can prove too strong for CALASITA (1), who won nicely in a Listed race at ParisLongchamp on June 18 and appears to be improving. HABIBI (3) ran well to finish fourth in the Prix de Diane (Gr.1) last time out and should find this a less competitive affair. ROMANTIC SYMPHONY (5) is also worth considering after winning a Listed race at Newmarket earlier this month.

  12. AVEC TOI – Outclassed the opposition in a Listed at Deauville over 1,400m on 4 July 2026 and a win before that on debut. He can keep on improving and looks like the one to beat
    Summary: AVEC TOI (5) has been impressive in both of his wins and can successfully make the step up to Group 3 level. He may prove too strong for JASSAS (3), who won nicely on his debut at Doncaster in the UK in late July and looks an exciting prospect. ZAKKAN (1) has performed consistently well in all three of his starts, finishing in the places each time. He can be in the mix, as can SILVER DOMINION (4), who makes the trip over from the UK and commands respect.

    Summary: HEROISTE (11) should be more at home in these conditions than she was in a Listed race on her latest start. She won her maiden on her penultimate outing in May and appears to be fairly treated by the handicapper. She can score at the expense of VICTORY FOLIE (15), who ran well to finish fifth in a Class 2 handicap at Compiègne last month and benefits from a low weight. SALALAH (6) has each-way claims after a pleasing second at Vichy in July. THE SHADOW (8) is ultra-consistent, rarely runs a bad race and must be respected. OMICRONE (4) completes the shortlist.

  33. MORE THUNDER – Solid effort to be 4th in the Juddmonte Summer Mile (Gr.2) on July 11 at Ascot last time out, and twp 2nd placed efforts previously in Group 1 races in May and June. Key player
  34. NO LUNCH – Unplaced last time in a Group 2 race on July 11, a win previously over 1600m at Saint-Cloud in the Prix Du Miguet (Gr.2) on May 1. Unlikely to be a threat
  35. SIR TOMMY CEN – Two wins of late, the latter over 1600m in a Group 3 race at Baden-Baden (DEU) on June 4. This requires a good deal more to succeed
  36. RAYIF – Finished 5th in a Group I at Deauville over 1400m on 12 July 2026 when last seen, and a win previously over 1600m in the Poule D’Essai Des Poulains (Gr.1) at Parislongchamp on May 10. Can make his presence felt
  37. THESECRETADVERSARY – Two good wins recently, a Group 3 in June over 1400m and the latest in the Prix Jean Prat (Gr.1) over 1400m at Deauville on July 12. Up in distance but can have a say in the finish
  38. PRECISE – Solid effort when she was runner-up in the Prix Rothschild (Gr.1I at Deauville over 1600m on 2 August 2026 when last seen, she won the Irish 1,000 Guineas (Gr.1) in late May over 1600m. Hard to rule out
    Summary: MORE THUNDER (5) could be the answer to this competitive Group 1. He finished a respectable fourth last time out behind ZEUS OLYMPIOS (1) in the Juddmonte Summer Mile (Gr.2) at Ascot, having previously finished second in two Group 1 races in May and June. He gets the nod over PRECISE (10), who won the Irish 1,000 Guineas (Gr.1) in May and has continued to perform admirably, winning the Coronation Stakes (Gr.1) in June and finishing second in two further Group 1 races. RAYIF (8) won the Poule d’Essai des Poulains (Gr.1) on his penultimate start and is capable of much better than his latest effort behind THESECRETADVERSARY (9) in the Prix Jean Prat (Gr.1) over 1400m last month.

    Summary: WINDBURN (8) could be the one to be with in this open affair. She has shaped well on her latest few starts and can get the better of CAMBREMER (5), who returned to form when she was third on her latest start at Parislongchamp in a Class 3 handicap early last month. FORCEFULL (7) is another to keep onside and is capable of a much better performance than shown on her two runs this year. SMILE FOR ME (2) makes up the shortlist.

    Summary: ZARAKI (8) delivered a cracking effort when just beaten into second in a Group III and certainly looks a rising candidate in the making which will take some beating in this Listed contest. BASHA (2) followed up on his maiden win when conquering over the distance and he will be in hot pursuit to reel off the hattrick win. TAKE ME ON (5) is already a two-time winner from five starts and would be no surprise if he makes a big splash here. QUANTAS (3) comes into this race with a place chance.

  4. MILORD DES ARRIS – Third in a Class E at Cabourg over 2,750m on 31 July 2026. Is not always the most reliable of horses but, with form maintained, will be no soft touch
  5. MY STORY – Finished 8th in a harness Class D at Saint Malo over 2,950m on 5 August when being prepped for this. Is no slouch in this branch of the game and has a reasonable chance of picking up some prizemoney

  21. NYMPHADORA – Looked very ordinary on debut in a Class F at Agon-Coutainville 9 days ago, finishing last but one. Has little going for her here and will have nothing to contribute
  22. NORIANO BELLO – Useful element that was eliminated early in a 2725m Cabourg Class E on 7 August, but can challenge for a place in the frame this time if Thomas Levesque keeps him trotting

ASTRA DREAM (10) is ideally weighted and could prove the main danger. INSIDE MATTERS (2), a Group 3 third in Germany earlier in his career, has shown encouraging signs recently. FRANCISCANO (1) is the only runner arriving on the back of a win and deserves respect.

  25. GIPSY PRINCESS – Showed some promise when third on debut at Le Mans over 1,100m on 21 April. Returns from a break and could score if fit enough
  26. SABIRA – A two-year-old filly by Golden Horde out of Summer’s Day who is making her debut. Her Dam won once in the UK in 6 starts. Could be a lively danger
  27. FIZZY – A two-year-old filly by Caturra out of Bubbly who is making her debut. Her Dam was unraced. Could need the experience
  28. SOFT PEACH – A two-year-old filly by Romanized out of Winvalchope who makes her debut. Her Dam was placed in a Listed race. Monitor the betting
    Summary: GIPSY PRINCESS (5) caught the eye when finishing behind two useful fillies on debut at Le Mans in late April and should appreciate this step up in trip. Absent since, she faces ETOILE D’ARMOR (3) and SHABAZI (4), who finished second and third respectively over this course and distance on July 26th. The unraced SABIRA (6), a daughter of Golden Horde, was already entered in early May and could be ready to make her debut with a bold showing.

  33. HELLO MASTER – Unplaced in a Claimer at Deauville over 1,500m on 11 August. Will do better back on the grass and should be a lively danger
  34. SI CA ME CHANTE – A three-year-old gelding by Hot Streak out of Shipping News who is making his debut. His Dam never raced in France. Could need this experience
  35. MISS DIVA – Showed some improvement when fifth in a Maiden over this course and distance on 26 July. Can earn some money this time
    Summary: Consistent overall, QAMRAN (1) deserved to open his account at the end of July over this course and distance and can follow up on his claiming debut. HELLO MASTER (5) was below his best on the all-weather track on Tuesday but has a good opportunity to bounce back here. UNE AVENTURE (2) has already shown she can be competitive at this level, while the experienced AVEC DES SI (3) could also make her presence felt.

  39. HIGHFIELD WORLD – Off form and finished 10th in a Class 3 Handicap at Compiegne over 2,400m on 10 July. Capable of doing better but others make more appeal
  40. BE TRUE – Has only been modest of late and was 6th in a claimer at Vichy over 2000m on 23 July. Needs to do more to score
  41. POTE – Unreliable but was fourth last time out in a handicap at compiegne over 2000m on 28 July. Can get involved with the finish
  42. ZOOM CHOP – Only modest of late and was 6th in a Class 2 Handicap at Vichy over 2,800m on 23 July. Has claims in a very open looking race
  43. SATURDAY NIGHT – Finished 10th in a Class 3 at Chantilly over 2,000m on 19 July. Did not show her best last time out but is capable of being a threat in this line-up
    Summary: ZOOM CHOP (7) finished sixth at Vichy recently and performed well in blinkers, which he had not worn for almost three years. ZVALIKOVA (3) failed to shine when prepared for the Quinté+ for fillies on August 3rd, but she faces less demanding opposition here and can bounce back. AZIMUTS (2) is improving and made a strong impression when opening his account recently. SATURDAY NIGHT (8) is ideally weighted and should not be underestimated.

  46. BOW LANE – Not reliable and was unplaced in a Class 3 Handicap at Compiegne over 2,000m on 13 June. Probably better on the PSF and others make more appeal
  47. LUCAS TREZY – In good shape and finished a runner-up in a Class 4 at Molieres over 2,900m on 26 July. Tougher task but might make the frame
  48. NOT SO SILLY – Unreliable and was 12th in a handicap at Clairefontaine over 1800m on 7 August. Did better before that and could be a threat
  49. EVER READY – Finished 12th in a Class 4 Handicap at Le Mans over 1,950m on 4 March. Returns from a break and is capable of a upset
    Summary: MONEY MONEY (1) sets the standard on ratings in this claiming handicap and has a good opportunity to record his second win of the summer following his success at Vittel in early July. NOT SO SILLY (5) was a brave fifth in a tight finish at Vichy last time and receives a significant weight advantage over the selection. MIAIMAOU (2) is worth monitoring on his return to French racing. LUCAS TREZY (4), who has little margin for error, should give his all.

  54. ROI DU CIEL – Threatening another win and was runner-up in a handicap at Clairefontaine over 2200m on 7 August. Can go one place better
  55. ETAPARK – Has really struggled of late and finished tenth in a claimer at Clairefontaine over 2400m on 3 August. Needs to do more to beat these rivals
    Summary: ROI DU CIEL (5) has finished in the first three on each of his last four starts, has been supplemented for this contest and looks capable of gaining a deserved success in an intesting lucky last race. TOLEO (4) is still searching for a first victory but caught the eye with a promising effort at Dieppe. CAPITOL HILL (3), from the in-form Mathieu Boutin yard, is another with solid claims. ALL IN PINK (1), running from the maximum handicap rating for this race, could bounce back to form in a much more suitable assignment.
