Summary: Impressive when winning twice under the saddle at Cabourg, posting outstanding times of 1’12”7 and 1’12”8, MA JOLIE CHOSE (6) will be difficult to beat. - OUTSIDER DE KACY – Facile winner, on debut, of a Class F at Reims over 2,550m on 13 September. Will have progressed for the race and has a realistic chance of repeating
Summary: Very nicely-bred, OURAGAN DE LA COTE (10) made a winning debut at Les Sables-d’Olonne, beating a Westerink-trained rival who has since won at Vincennes. Yoann Lebourgeois will need to be wary though of OUTSIDER DE KACY (12), who was equally convincing on his own career bow. ONE DIDO (6) left a good impression first time out and will have improved, while newcomer OTENTIK DE L’ENVOL (1), a half-brother to Ninja De l’Envol, will be unsurprisingly well-supported.

C4 – PRIX D’AIRAN – 2200m (a1m1/2) – – Harness – EUR € 24,000 - NAGOYA DE LOU – Unplaced in a Class D at Vincennes over 2,700m on 29 September, just over 3 weeks after running 2nd in a Vire Class E, but is still not a player
- NENESSE PECE – Disqualified in a Class D at Enghien over 2,875m on 26 July, after having won 2 of 3. Comes here fresh and looks main danger to NOBLIA (7)
- NOBLESS DU NOYER – Finished 2nd, on comeback, in a Class E at Cabourg over 2,725m on 1 October. Will have progressed for the run and can again finish close
- NARISSA DE LOU – Ran 6th in a Class D at Vincennes over 2,700m on 29 September. Has pulled a good number though and can pick up a cheque if she takes to Caen conditions
- NEZUKO JIEL – Disqualified in a Class D at Vincennes over 2,700m on 29 September. Seldom disappoints when focused and Gabriele Gelormini will be keen to put things right
- NAHINE D’OCCAGNES – Victorious in a Class E at Vichy over 2,800m on 19 September. Knows Caen, having qualified well here last month, and looks competitive for a place in the picture
- NOBLIA – Sent for a spell after comfortably winning a Class E at Cabourg over 2,725m on 21 July. Clearly means business though and can get straight back in the game
- NOGHERA COUNTESS – Has not been seen out since winning a Claimer at Enghien over 2,875m on 16 April and can be confidently disregarded
- NANA DU LEVANT – Has turned a corner since starting to race on turf, lastly 3rd at Craon over 2,750m on 28 September, but will struggle to make her mark here
- NEPTUNE D’AVE – Disqualified in last two, the latest a Class B at Argentan over 2,875m on 23 September. Drops back down the category-ladder but is still not a priority
- NICE CAILLERIE – Second in a Class E at Erbray over 2,675m on 30 August. Has shown considerable aptitude so far but seems to be taking on too much this time
Summary: NOBLIA (7), unraced since winning at Cabourg in July, NENESSE PECE (2), who should not be too hastily-judged for faulting at Enghien, NOBLESS DU NOYER (3), who made a solid comeback at Cabourg, and NAHINE D’OCCAGNES (6), impressive winner at Vichy, all look capable of contesting the finish.

C5 – PRIX STUART – 2450m (a1m1/2) – – Harness – EUR € 27,000 - MOLLY DU VALLON – Unplaced in a Class C at Vincennes over 2,700m on 2 October. Will appreciate returning to racing right-handed but is still not a priority
- MYSTIC D’AVE – Disqualified in a Class B at Graignes over 2,700m on 12 October. Is confirmed at Caen but recent results do nothing to help
- MY DREAM DU GRAIS – Finished 9th in a Class B at Graignes over 2,700m on 12 October. Has done nothing of note since late-June and is unlikely to spice things up
- MORNING NEWS – Finished 11th, on comeback, in a Class B at Rambouillet over 2,800m on 20 September. Stays shod and can be ignored
- MATADOR – Ran 6th in a Class C at Vincennes over 2,100m on 17 September. Will be fully-fit by now and should have a realistic chance of imposing this time
- MISTERIOSO – Unable to complete the hat-trick when 6th in a Class C at Vincennes over 2,700m on 27 September. Has delivered just once in 4 clockwise starts but still cannot be discounted
- MAGIC INSTINCT – Unplaced in a Class C at Vincennes over 2,700m on 27 September. Does spring the occasional surprise but is unlikely to under these conditions
- MINERVE DE VANDEL – Disqualified, when being prepared for this, in a Class C at Vincennes over 2,700m on 2 October. Simply excels when barefoot and will have her chances
- MISTRAL JENILOU – Finished 2nd in a Class B at Argentan over 2,875m on 23 September. Thrives with Yoann Lebourgeois who will be justifiably confident of a big run
- MUST DE BANVILLE – Excellent runner-up at Craon over 2,775m on 28 September. Has not finished outside first two since mid-June and is unlikely to start now
- MOON STAR FOR YOU – Runner-up in a Class B at Lisieux over 2,725m on 29 August. Is plainly on the right road but in this company looks a minor place prospect at best
- MOUNTAIN – Unplaced, when being conditioned, in a Class B at Cordemais over 2,800m on 4 October. Is in race-mode this time and, considering she scored a five-timer earlier in the year, will garner support
- MAMZELL L’AVENTURE – Finished 12th in a Class B at Laval over 2,850m on 30 September, her first start since the spell, and will have nothing to contribute
- MISTHOS CHRISTAL – Finished 8th in a Class C at Vincennes over 2,700m on 27 September, having imposed at Enghien the previous month, and, considering the entry, must be taken seriously
Summary: There is little to choose between MATADOR (5), who has two races under his belt, MUST DE BANVILLE (10), at the top of his game and sporting a new shoeing profile, a similarly-reconfigured MISTRAL JENILOU (9) who excels with Yoann Lebourgeois, and MINERVE DE VANDEL (8), who runs barefoot for her first objective of the autumn.

C6 – PRIX D’ARGENTRE – 2450m (a1m1/2) – Class B – Mounted – EUR € 45,000 - JABLO DU CHENE – Disqualified in a Class A at Argentan over 2,875m on 23 September, after having imposed at Saint-Malo the previous month, and Paul Ploquin will be eager to put things right
- KRACK CLEA – Beaten only by a very good mare when runner-up in a Class A at Argentan over 2,875m on 23 September. Is patently in rude health and can bring the fight to IMAGINE D’ATOUT (12)
- ICARE WILLIAMS – Finished 5th in a Class B at Vincennes over 2,175m on 29 September. Is new to Caen and can expect to find this a stiff test
- IGO CLEA – Unplaced in a Class B at Vincennes over 2,175m on 29 September. Had encouraged 12 days earlier but still has more to find
- GARD – Runner-up, on comeback, in a Class D at Beaumont-De-Lomagne over 2,550m on 14 September. Is plainly in fine shape, imposed last time at the venue, and will be expected to finish in the mix
- HIS DREAM DE CAHOT – Second in a Class C Apprentices’ race at Enghien over 2,875m on 5 October. Has finished runner-up in 3 of last 4 starts but looks no more than a minor place chance this time
- IKURO JIEL – Unplaced in a Class B at Vincennes over 2,175m on 29 September. Has struggled to make his mark this term and best to hold off
- IRIS DES ROSEAUX – Unplaced under harness at Craon over 3,500m on 28 September. Gave an excellent account on monte debut, even though subject to the stewards’ wrath, and returns to the discipline with a potentially good hand to play
- HELIOS SI – Unplaced at Craon over 3,500m on 28 September. Has been disappointing over recent months and can be passed over
- HURIEL LUDOIS – Secured the hat-trick when successful in a Class C Apprentices’ race at Enghien over 2,875m on 5 October. Is just as comfortable racing right-handed, sports a fresh shoeing profile, and is unlikely to disappoint
- IDOLE OF LOVE – Unplaced at Gelsenkirchen over 2,600m on 10 October. Is, however, capable on a good day, although her chances appear limited this time around
- IMAGINE D’ATOUT – Tenacious winner of a Class B at Vincennes over 2,175m on 29 September, just her second start back. Comes here with morale intact and a realistic chance of confirming
- IT’S MY DREAM – Third in a Class B at Vincennes over 2,700m on 11 September. Seldom disappoints when barefoot, has won twice at Caen under harness, and should not be underestimated
Summary: The winner should come from IMAGINE D’ATOUT (12), back in top form, KRACK CLEA (2), who found only Lambada Du Goutier too good at Argentan, IRIS DES ROSEAUX (8), who returns to the code with Mathieu Mottier in the irons, and JABLO DU CHENE (1), who can be forgiven his recent blip.

C7 – PRIX EQUIDAYS (PRIX DE BOURG L’ABBE) – 2200m (a1m1/2) – – Harness – EUR € 27,000 - LOVELY MILL – Made up for Vincennes blip when runner-up in a Class B at Rambouillet over 2,800m on 20 September. Is not always the easiest to gauge but, with form maintained, can challenge for victory
- LEONARDO DU DERBY – Ran 6th in a Class D at Enghien over 2,875m on 12 August. Faces a less-exalted bunch this time and from the 2 slot will have a decent shot at picking up a cheque
- LA VIE EST BELLE – Disqualified in a Class B at Argentan over 2,875m on 23 September, just over 2 weeks after running 2nd in a Craon Class D. Showed her form though at Argentan and will be dangerous if her driver keeps her focused
- LIL BOSS ONLY – Fifth in a Class C at Vincennes over 2,850m on 9 October. Drops back down the category-ladder and from the 4 slot can finally return to winning ways
- LACIENDA FLASH – Third in a Class E at Challans over 2,900m on 11 October. Is as good in one code as the other and the draw will do her chances no disservice
- LADY POP – Finished 7th in a Class D at Pornichet over 2,725m on 19 September. Has otherwise been in good shape and the Mathieu Mottier-factor cannot be ignored
- LYRA POTERIE – Disqualified in a Class D at Vincennes over 2,850m on 2 October. Has twice failed to confirm her Cabourg success and others easier to support
- LA CALLAS – Won a Class E at La Capelle over 2,750m on 8 October. Is unlikely to repeat but breaks in front and will be no pushover if she takes to the new conditions
- LA KIFFANCE PIYA – Made up for Lisieux sanction when second in a Class D at Vincennes over 2,100m on 17 September. Gave a good account last time here and can get in on the action if Sebastien Ernault successfully navigates the start
- LOVELY JENILOU – Finished 6th in a Class D at Les Sables D’Olonne over 2,650m on 26 August. Is preparing for a campaign in the other code and can be ruled out
- LUTIN DU PRATEL – Missed out on the hat-trick when second in a Class E at Angers over 3,125m on 9 September. Steps marginally up in category, and has pulled a 2nd row draw, but has earned the right to race here and must be respected
- LA VISTA HAUFOR – Finished 9th, on comeback, in a Class D at Laval over 2,850m on 30 September. Is still in conditioning-mode and can be ruled out
- LA STAR – Successful in a Class D at Laval over 2,850m on 30 September. Takes on a better lot this time, starts on back row, and is not a priority
- LOST IN PARADISE – Has not been seen out since being disqualified in a Class F at Saint Malo over 2,850m on 1 November 2025 and will have nothing to offer
- LYRE D’ERABLE – Surprise 3rd in a Class D at Vincennes over 2,100m on 17 September. Is not without merit but a repeat still seems most unlikely
- LILIE D’OMAHA – Unplaced in a Class D at Vincennes over 2,850m on 2 October. Has struggled to make any impact this term and can be passed over
- LET IT SNOW – Unplaced, on re-entry, in a Class D at Laval over 2,850m on 3 October. Has bags of ability but is here for reasons of conditioning and best to wait
- LET’S GO MAURICIEN – Starts for the first time since finishing runner-up in a Class D at Cabourg over 2,750m on 24 July. Shoes fitted and best to keep one’s powder dry
Summary: This looks wide open. LIL BOSS ONLY (4), who finished strongly at Vincennes recently, LOVELY MILL (1), in form and ideally-engaged, LA VIE EST BELLE (3), reconfigured in a bid to make up for her recent sanction, and LUTIN DU PRATEL (11), who has not put a foot wrong since the spring, can be preferred to LEONARDO DU DERBY (2), who sports a fresh profile for his return to the provinces.

C8 – PRIX DE CHAMPCERIE – 2200m (a1m1/2) – – Harness – EUR € 40,000 - JASMINE DE VAU – Starts for the first time since finishing 11th in a Class C at Vincennes over 2,700m on 17 January and will pose no threat
- IVRIG VIKING – Failed to confirm Royan performance when unplaced at Craon over 2,775m on 7 September. Shoes fitted this time and can be ruled out
- HALL BLACK MESS – Finished 7th at Segre over 2,700m on 4 October. Has form here and, while not a priority, the draw will only work to his advantage
- JASON – Fifth in a good Class C at Vincennes over 2,700m on 17 September. Is plainly in decent shape and from the 4 slot will be no easy touch
- JACK DES ASS – Impressive winner of a Class D at Enghien over 2,875m on 5 October. Is one of the more exceptional horses here and looks main threat to JIPET DE CREPIN (8)
- HONEY KING – Finished 12th at Segre over 2,700m on 4 October. Starts in front here but her form figures do nothing to inspire confidence
- JAIN MAB – Victorious in a Class D at Enghien over 2,875m on 7 October. Steps back up in category but still looks capable of making the frame once more
- JIPET DE CREPIN – Should not be condemned for failing to deliver in an Argentan Gr.3 late last month. Is clearly in fine condition and, even though starting wide, can impose
- HARMONY LA NUIT – Ran 7th in a monte Class C Apprentices’ race at Enghien over 2,875m on 5 October. Won her only start at the venue and can play a prominent role if Benjamin Rochard defies the draw
- ISIA DU CHENE – Unplaced over 2,450m here on 10 October. Is not the easiest of horses to use but has won 3 of 4 at Caen and must be afforded respect
- JINGLE DELO – Has not been seen out since coming 5th in a Class C at Laval over 2,850m on 3 June. Is barefoot for the occasion but is unlikely to create an upset
- HAPPY DANOVER – Ran 6th at Segre over 2,700m on 4 October. Faces a completely different task here and will have few friends
- GRAZIELA D’EL – Fifth in a Class D at Cordemais over 2,650m on 4 October. A repeat, however, is most improbable
- IN LOVE DE JIEL – Starts for the first time since finishing unplaced in a Class D Apprentices’ race at Vincennes over 2,850m on 18 September 2025 and will have nothing to offer
- IXELLE BLEUE – Disqualified in a Class D at Enghien over 2,875m on 7 October. Is no slouch on a good day, and has placed here twice, but others still easier to back
- HERCULE DE LEAU – Makes first appearance since finishing unplaced in a Class C at Vincennes over 2,700m on 22 May. Has been out of sorts for the past year and must first reassure
- ISOCRATE D’ELA – Finished 3rd in a monte Class D Apprentices’ race at Vincennes over 2,850m on 17 September and is only here to be kept on the boil
- HAPPY FACE – Fifth in a Class C at Le Croise-Laroche over 2,700m on 30 September. Has pulled a rough number but is not incapable of getting a look in
Summary: JIPET DE CREPIN (8) has valid reasons for his run at Argentan and looks the one to beat, but he will face serious resistance from the better-positioned JACK DES ASS (5) provided that Théo Duvaldestin manages to keep him focused. Recent winner JAIN MAB (7) is next on the list, ahead of HARMONY LA NUIT (9) who will be partnered by Benjamin Rochard. JASON (4) appears to be back on the right road and from the 4 slot can figure prominently.

However, L’ULKA DI LEONE (4) demands respect after a revival in form since joining Mathieu Mottier. LADY JIELHEM (9) returns to a hard track with a top driver in the sulky. Summary: This looks a competitive affair, with several runners holding realistic claims. LUPIN DU BOURG (4) knows this track well and has been fairly consistent. He deserves to end a long losing run. LAMSOU SAN (9) also has plenty going for him and, racing with all four shoes on, looks a leading contender. LUDO PAROYO (12), could be a threat in a race of this nature. He should be involved in the finish alongside KENNEDY TEXAN (2), who is capable of winning at this level, and KSAR UNIQUE (4), who goes barefoot for the occasion.
