French Selections Wednesday 11th

R1 LE MANS [L-H]
C1 – GRAND NATIONAL DU TROT – 2950m (a2m) – Gr3 Race – Harness – EUR € 90,000

1. GIANINA BELLA – Alternates the good with the less good, most recently 4th of 14 in a 2850m Feurs Class B 9 days ago. In this company though will need to find more

2. HERMINE GIRL – Sanctioned in a 2800m Rambouillet Class D on Sunday. Has been a write-off for some time and has no realistic chance

3. INSTINCT D’AM – Seldom gets his nose in front but pleasant 4th, a place behind IGREC DE CELLAND (10), in a 2950m Saint-Malo Gr.3 on 7 August. On the front line again and, with some luck in running, can get a look-in

4. FLY TO THE MOON – Failed to confirm his Alençon performance when 7th of 9 in a 2800m Rambouillet Class D on Sunday and backs up with limited prospects

5. IGUSKI SAUTONNE – Tough individual that ran 2nd of 10 in a 2475m Royan Class D a month ago. Is new to the venue but starts in front and is unlikely to disappoint

6. FEE DU VERNAY – Back under harness after finishing 5th of 10 in a 2250m Enghien monté Class C a month ago. Enjoys a good entry, and sports front pads for the occasion, but others still preferred

7. I CAN DREAM – 6th to HYMNE DU GERS (9) in a 2700m Vincennes Gr.3, on re-entry late last month. Front pads fitted this time and, despite the handicap, is worth keeping an eye on

8. HEDE DARLING – Has taken to French conditions like a duck to water, most recently 2nd of 12 in a 2850m Vincennes Class B late last month, and looks eminently capable of winning a race of this nature

9. HYMNE DU GERS – 8th of 16, after faulting early, in a 2775m Craon Gr.3 earlier this month and returns to a hard surface with a realistic chance of imposing

10. IGREC DE CELLAND – Ultra-consistent all season, latterly 3rd of 10 finishers in a 2950m Saint-Malo Gr.3 on 7 August. Currently leads the GNT table and looks set to increase that advantage

11. EUREKA VRIE – Sanctioned when preparing for this over 2300m at Mons on 8 August. Excellent servant when focused though and, shod to preference, will not be far from the action

12. HIDALGO DES NOES – Back at his best for the past month, securing the double when making short work of a 2675m Class B at Divonne-les-Bains 2.5 weeks ago. Unlikely to pull off the hat-trick but should still be in with a shout of picking up a cheque

13. INO DU LUPIN – Makes first start since coming 7th of 14 in a 2850m Vincennes Class B 3 months ago. Races shod from the back line but nevertheless has the class to make his presence felt

14. HIP HOP HAUFOR – Erratic but talented trotter making first appearance since finishing 8th of 14 in 4150m Gr.1 Prix de Paris late-February. Shoes on, with a 50m handicap, and is unlikely to make any impact

15. GOELAND D’HAUFOR – 6th of 11 over 2300m at Mons early last month. Is not short of ability but starting from the back row, with shoes on, will have nothing to contribute

16. GASPAR D’ANGIS – Won an Enghien Gr.3 before coming 9th of 12 in a 2875m Gr.2 at the same venue in late-July. Incurs a 50m penalty and, shod this time, can be passed over

Summary: With a number of big names racing shod from the third line, the race opens up further for the revitalised IGREC DE CELLAND (10) who finished 3rd in the Saint-Malo edition. David Thomain will be justifiably wary of HEDE DARLING (8) who simply never disappoints when barefoot. The same can be said of HYMNE DU GERS (9) who raced better at Craon than the result would suggest. At the top of his game and as versatile as they come, IGUSKI SAUTONNE (5) is 25m better off and Matthieu Abrivard will be eager to capitalise.

C2 – PRIX CCMB – 2950m (a2m) – Class F Amateur Drivers Race – Harness – EUR € 8,000

1. IRELAND TEAM – Disappointing on the whole for some time, most recently sanctioned in a 2600m Class E at LE Touquet 10 days ago, and can expect to have few friends

2. GAMME DE BASSIERE – Has ample ability but sanctioned in 4 of last 5, latterly a 2850m Laval amateurs Class G last Friday, and chances appear slim once more

3. HOMME D’ETAT – Has decent amateur references but unplaced in last 2, most recently a 3000m Châteaubriant Class G. 25m better off this time but still not an obvious choice

4. IMOUR DU VEILLEROT – Went close at La Ferté-Vidame before coming 10th of 12 in a 3150m Class F at La Roche-Posay 10 days ago. Drops back to a category he appreciates and, from the front row, should not be far from the action

5. INDY FLIGNY – 12th of 13 in a 2825m Class E at Sablé-sur-Sarthe late-July and, in current condition, can be written off

6. HELIOS DE MESANGY – Completely off the boil since returning to competition following a long layoff, latterly 7th of 10 in a 3475m Agon-Coutainville claimer late last month, and is not about to shake things up

7. GOING DES TITHAIS – 4th of 12 in a 3100m Nort-sur-Erdre amateurs Class H 10 days ago. In better company this time but starts in front and can play a small role

8. IF DE LA COUDRE – Acquitted himself honourably to come 4th of 12 in a 2775m Class F at Les Sables-d’Olonne late last month, won last time here, and looks a serious proposition

9. HENRIETT D’AURCY – Sanctioned in a 3450m Agon-Coutainville Class F 3.5 weeks ago, but is clearly in shape, won her only start here, and with application can challenge for the win

10. FIFTY WINNER – Last but one to HEMILIO PIERJI (14) in a 2850m Laval amateurs Class G last week. Has done nothing noteworthy since March and, even racing barefoot, can be passed over

11. IDEAL JIBAY – Completely out of sorts following a 2-year hiatus, latterly last of 14 in a 2650m Alençon Class E 10 days ago and, even sporting a new configuration, will have nothing to offer

12. ICE TEA – Won at La Rochelle early-August before finishing last but one in a 2700m Graignes Class F 3 weeks ago. Is new to the amateur category but has done enough in better company to be considered a respectable first-5 chance

13. HIGH MONEY D’AVRAN – 3rd of 10 in a 2700m Class F at Le Croisé-Laroche earlier in the month. Boasts a fine amateur record and drops back in category with a good hand to play

14. HEMILIO PIERJI – Got back in the winners’ enclosure after winning a 2850m Laval amateurs Class G last Friday. Is plainly back on the right road and is thoroughly capable of repeating

15. INVICTUS D’ECAJEUL – Drops back in category after finishing 10th of 11 in a 2650m Class F at Les Sables-d’Olonne last Friday. Incurs a 25m penalty but is not incapable of getting a look-in

16. FARCEUSE DU PRE – 9th of 11 in a 2850m Vincennes amateurs Class F 2 weeks ago. Last made the frame in May 2022 and is not about to break the mould

Summary: After a brief period off the boil, HEMILIO PIERJI (14) returned to winning ways just a few days ago and Franck Blandin justifiably aims him at the double. HENRIETT D’AURCY (9) may be 25m worse off but she won here mid-July and, sporting a new configuration, can put her recent sanction behind her. Ideally-entered on the front row, and shod to preference, IF DE LA COUDRE (8) has been in excellent form and debuts in the category with a realistic chance of finishing close. HIGH MONEY D’AVRAN (13) got back in the game at Le Croisé-Laroche and even racing shod this time, still looks a player.

C3 – PRIX SUPER U ARNAGE – 2950m (a2m) – Class E Race – Harness – EUR € 20,000

1. KHAMSA – Clinched a 2750m Cabourg Class E a fortnight ago. Yet to disappoint in current configuration and, while not a priority, is still worth retaining

2. KOOPER – 10th of 11 on comeback, following a lengthy layoff, in a 2600m Class E at Le Mont-Saint-Michel 3.5 weeks ago. Has bags of ability and, shod to preference, must not be underestimated

3. KALIN DU TRESOR – Makes first start since winning a 2450m Caen monté Class E in June. Has no harness references and can be ignored

4. KOOL LUDOIS – Won 2 in a row before coming 8th of 10 in a 2700m Vincennes Class E a fortnight ago. Drops back in category and can play a more active part this time

5. KISS ME DAIDOU – 8th of 11 in a 2600m Class E at Le Mont-Saint-Michel on 18 August. Has been very disappointing of late and is unlikely to spring a surprise

6. KING DE CHAMPIGNY – Got back in the game with a convincing victory over 2850m in a Laval Class E on 30 August and, with the champion driver reining, is not about to disappoint. Chance

7. KING FLY – Quickly sanctioned in a 2875m Enghien Class E a month ago and with shoes fitted will have nothing to contribute

8. KANAILLE DU LUPIN – Not once out of first 2 when focused, latterly close 2nd in a 2725m Pornichet Class E a fortnight ago, and is good enough to win this time

9. KLIF DU DEZERT – 2nd of 12 in a 2100m Vincennes claimer 2.5 weeks ago but in this company has no possible chance

10. KABALVA – Runner-up in last 2, most recently a 2725m Cabourg Class E mid-August but, with shoes on will have too much to do

11. KAPELLA DRY – Sanctioned in last 3, latterly a 2050m Cabourg Class D late-August when fighting for a place. Front pads fitted this time but others still easier to back

12. KALISTA DE HOUELLE – Got off to a poor start but nevertheless came in a fast-finishing 4th of 11 in a 2700m Class D at La Capelle 2 weeks ago and can finish in the frame this time

13. KING BOLD – In the frame in 5 of last 6, latterly 2nd of 10 in a 2800m Bernay Class E 2.5 weeks ago, and with Franck Nivard in the wagon, will be afforded every chance

14. KORONA DU CHIFFRES – Won at Cagnes early-August before coming 6th of 11 in a 2700m Vincennes Class E 12 days ago. Leading driver at the helm this time and should logically set the record straight

Summary: One of the more difficult races to decipher, but a tentative nod nevertheless goes to KANAILLE DU LUPIN (8) who deserves a win after finishing runner-up 3 times in a row. Antoine Wiels will still want to be wary of recent Laval winner KING DE CHAMPIGNY (6) who will be reined by Eric Raffin for the occasion, and KALISTA DE HOUELLE (12) who put in quite the finish at La Capelle recently. Nicely-entered here, KORONA DU CHIFFRES (14) receives a Matthieu Abrivard drive for the first time and will be expected to make up for her Vincennes blip.

C4 – PRIX PMU LE DRIVER – PX VOLVO THIBAULT – 2950m (a2m) – Class D Race – Harness – EUR € 23,000

1. LOUIS QUATORZE – Failed to confirm his Chartres win when 6th of 7 behind LILIAN DU PARADIS (8) in a 2750m Cabourg Class D late-July. Comes here fresh, sporting front pads, and must not be overlooked

2. LA SPEZIA DE LOU – Quality filly making first start since faulting in a 2700m Vincennes Class C in May, and will need the run

3. LILY DE L’AUNAY – Capable but unexceptional filly that came 5th of 13 in a 2750m Cabourg Class D on 30 August, but a repeat seems decidedly improbable

4. LA MITIDJA – Opened her 2024 account on 19 August, dominating a 2625m Cherbourg Class E. David Thomain reining for first time and looks a player

5. LOUISA D’ATOUT – Unlucky 3rd of 8 in a 2500m Class D at La Rochelle early last month. Is proven at Le Mans and can win this if Matthieu Abrivard keeps her out of trouble

6. LOVE ME AGAIN – Has not been seen out since trotting 4th of 6 in a 2200m Vincennes monté Class B last March. JMB reining but others still easier to back

7. LINNA DE VANDEL – Came good last month with 2 placed finishes, latterly 3rd of 14 in a 2150m Enghien Class D on 16 August and, with Alexandre Abrivard in the bike this time, can play a leading role

8. LILIAN DU PARADIS – Decent future prospect that came 4th of 9 in a 2950m Saint-Malo Class D on 7 August. Has already won for Eric Raffin and can do so again

9. LOVING DREAM – Would have defied his odds had he been afforded a run 2 weeks ago, ultimately finishing 10th of 11 in a 2750m Cabourg Class D, but with form maintained and a trouble-free run, can put things right

10. LOULOU DES OUBEAUX – Last of 11 in a 2750m Cabourg Class D a fortnight ago. Showed early promise before losing his way and can be passed over

11. LABORANTIN – Has merit but below-par lately, most recently 8th of 11 in a 2750m Cabourg Class D 2 weeks ago, and must first get his house in order

12. LE BOLIDE – 2nd of 11 in a 2750m Cabourg Class D mid-August. Goes left-handed for first time and will not be far from the action if he takes to the new profile

13. LUMIERE MIKA – Convincing winner of a 2200m Langon Class E late-July, but is being aimed too high this time and chances limited

14. LADY DU POMMEREUX – Lacklustre 6th of 13 in a 2750m Cabourg Class D on 30 July, and looks totally out of her depth

Summary: Matthieu Abrivard’s LOUISA D’ATOUT (5) has been firing on all cylinders since coming 2nd here in May and, considering her performance at La Rochelle when denied a run, she looks a marginally better choice than LILIAN DU PARADIS (8) who is reunited with Eric Raffin, and the on-form LINNA DE VANDEL (7) who sports 4 pads for the first time. LE BOLIDE (12), on the other hand, is shod after having reassured at Cabourg, but can still give this a good go, provided he turns.

C5 – PRIX OUEST NETTOYAGE – 2950m (a2m) – Class E Race – Mounted – EUR € 30,000

1. INTRIGUE DE MAX – Sanctioned in last 2, most recently a 3100m Nort-sur-Erdre Class F 10 days ago. 4 pads fitted for first time but others still easier to trust

2. RAMPANT – Swedish import that finished 6th of 8, on first French start, in a 1609m Argentan Class F a month ago. Will have come on for the run, has monté form at home, and should not be overlooked

3. HEROS DE MARZY – Last of 9 in a 2700m Thouars Class H 2.5 weeks ago. Returns to racing with front pads fitted but others still preferred

4. L.L.LABERO – Smart Swedish import that ran 7th of 11 in a 3100m Nort-sur-Erdre Class F, on French debut, 10 days ago. Hind shoes off this time but may still need the run

5. HARRYBEAU DE COUET – 6th of 13 in a 2800m Vire harness Class F a week ago. Placed in 1 of 2 monté starts but looks out of his league

6. HAZOE DES GLENAN – Returns to her preferred discipline after coming 9th, behind HARRYBEAU DE COUET (5), in a 2800m Vire harness Class F a week ago. Seldom disappoints under the saddle and is not about to buck the trend. First 5

7. ILLICO DE LOU – Tricky but talented sort making first appearance since faulting in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class F last March. Shoes off for comeback though and, with application, can go close

8. INKY PERRINE – Returns to the monté code after 3 straight sanctions, most recently in a 2700m Vincennes Class E 3.5 weeks ago. Can trot when focused though and is unlikely to go home empty-handed

9. HOTKATISSIME – 10th of 12, behind GENERAL (11), in a 2750m Class D at La Capelle a week ago. Returns to a more reasonable level and, already a winner for Benjamin Rochard, must be considered a leading contender

10. INBREED – 4th of 6 in a 2675m Class E at Divonne-les-Bains 3 weeks ago. Has been knocking at the door over recent months and, with application, can bring home the bacon

11. GENERAL – 7th of 9 in a 2750m Class D at La Capelle a week ago and will need to find significantly more

12. ELIXIR – Last but one, on re-entry, in a 2850m Laval Class E late last month. Is no slouch when behaved and, sporting a revised formula for the occasion, can play a small part

Summary: Very hard to fault in this branch of the business, the reconfigured INBREED (10) is better than his latest run would imply and, with Alexis Collette back in the bike, can defy the handicap and win this. HOTKATISSIME (9) bit off more than he could chew in Paris last time but is in less-exalted company here and, barefoot for the occasion, looks a serious proposition. INKY PERRINE (8) is not to everyone’s liking but she has shown decent aptitude for the discipline and will be no soft touch if Pierre-Yves Verva can keep her trotting. Barefoot for his return from a long layoff, ILLICO DE LOU (7) starts in front and has a decent chance of getting straight back in the game.

SELECTIONS
INBREED (10) – HOTKATISSIME (9) – INKY PERRINE (8) – ILLICO DE LOU (7)
C6 – PRIX SUPER U AV DE LA LIBERATION LE MANS – 2950m (a2m) – Class F Race – Harness – EUR € 24,000

1. IRPIEU DE VARVILLE – Here for a change of scenery after finishing last of 8 in a 2550m Cherbourg Class F on 19 August, and can be passed over

2. IZIASLAV TEK – Not as sharp as he was earlier in the season but decent 5th of 11 in a 2775m Craon amateurs Class F earlier this month and starting in front will do his prospects no disservice

3. HOUSTON DE CUIGNY – Pleasant 4th of 14 in a 2650m Alençon Class E 10 days ago. Unlikely to cause an upset but can nevertheless make his presence felt

4. IYAR – Sanctioned in 3 before coming a reassuring 2nd of 11 in a 2625m Saint-Omer Class F 2.5 weeks ago and will be dangerous if he stays in stride

5. IMOUSSE LA RAVELLE – Last but one, on comeback, in a 2850m Laval monté Class D on 30 August and has no possible chance

6. ISOLACCIO – Unable to confirm his amateur result when 8th of 12 in a 3150m Class F at La Roche-Posay on 1 September, and can expect to remain friendless in the markets

7. IGGY PERRINE – Not disgraced when 6th of 9 in a 2650m Pornichet Class F mid-August. Enjoys a front-line start here and looks competitively well-in

8. IRENE FLASH – 4th of 11 in a 2850m Mauquenchy Class F on 22 July. Appears to have put her stride issues behind her and enjoys a good entry, but still no more than a minor place prospect

9. HISTOIRE DE LIERRE – Won an amateur event early-August before coming 8th of 13 in a 2750m Pornichet Class F 12 days later, and is unlikely to generate much interest

10. ILLICO PRESTO FAC – Has hardly put a foot out of place over recent months, latterly 4th of 11 in a 2600m Cherbourg Class F on 19 August and, in this company, looks a major player

11. HOPPELA THEPOL – Races shod this time after trotting 5th of 13 in a 3150m Class F at La Roche-Posay 10 days ago, and will need to find more

12. HOTOT – 9th of 11, when being conditioned, in a 2750m Cabourg Class E a fortnight ago. Shoes on and no threat

13. IALKO JENILAT – Has done everything right over recent weeks, latterly winning a 2900m Ploërmel Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Steps back up in category but still looks the one to beat

14. IDEFIX DES LANDES – 12th of 14 in a 2650m Alençon Class E earlier this month and appears to have nothing to contribute

15. IL PRESIDENTE – 6th of 14, behind HOUSTON DE CUIGNY (3), on re-entry in a 2650m Alençon Class E 10 days ago. Will have progressed for the run and, even from the 2nd line, will not be far off the mark

16. ISABELLA DIMJY – Quality element but has completely lost her way, latterly 14th of 16 in a 2850m Bréhal Class H 3 weeks ago, and must get her house in order

Summary: Occasionally unfocused but clearly at the top of his game, IALKO JENILAT (13) stays shod for his return to a hard surface and can confirm his recent victory. That said, IYAR (4) is 25m better off, reassured at Saint-Omer recently, and will be no pushover. ILLICO PRESTO FAC (10) made up for his Enghien blip with a solid Cherbourg performance and debuts at the venue with a lot to offer. IL PRESIDENTE (15) has one race under his belt since the break and, if fully-fit, will have his chances.

C7 – PRIX BOBET MATERIEL – 2950m (a2m) – Class E Race – Harness – EUR € 23,000

1. JAYF – 8th of 10, on return from a long absence, in a 3000m Rochefort-sur-Loire Class F on 21 July. Goes unshod-behind for first time but others still preferred

2. JESS D’ANARDEL – Runner-up in last 2, latterly a 2650m Vertou Class F on 26 August. In better company this time but, from the front row, is still worth retaining

3. JORAH DES PRES – 4th of 11 in a 3175m Class F at La Roche Posay 10 days ago. Form is heading in right direction and the 25m head-start will only work to his advantage. Minor place chance

4. JACINTHE DES PRES – 7th of 12 in a 2900m Châteauroux Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Has done nothing of note for some time and can be ruled out

5. JUTONNIERE – Sanctioned on comeback in a 2650m Class E at Les Sables-d’Olonne 2 weeks ago, having been sent for a break after winning 2 straight. Will have progressed for the run and, if focused, can wrap this up

6. JIVA – Won 3 of last 4, most recently a 2750m Cabourg Class E 2 months ago. Is confirmed here but races shod this time and best to wait

7. JET DES MALBERAUX – Placed in 2 before finishing 10th of 11, after faulting, in a 2400m Class D at Beaumont-de-Lomagne 2.5 weeks ago. Is not to be too hastily-judged and can be backed with confidence for a first-5 place

8. JOLYDOLE – Sanctioned on re-entry before clinching a 2650m Pornichet Class E 3 weeks ago. Boasts an excellent win-rate which she can extend further here

9. JIANFRANCO – Has not been seen out since faulting in a 2875m Enghien Class D on 29 June and will have nothing to offer

10. JOCONDE DE RHEVE – Won a 2800m Strasbourg Class E a fortnight ago. Is a tough nut when focused and can win this if she takes to the new profile

11. JINA FOUTEAU – Quality element making first appearance since coming third in a 2300m Châteaubriant Class D late-May. Races shod for comeback though and best to hold off

12. JIRELLITA – Tricky but capable mare that made it 3 straight sanctions when faulting in a 3100m Vibraye Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Is in ‘conditioning-mode’ and can be ignored

13. JOKER DE BELLOU – Respectable but unthreatening 6th of 13 in a 2700m Class D at La Capelle late last month. Is an honest trotter though and, confirmed at Le Mans, must be respected

14. JODANNE DIESCHOOT – Produced 2 good performances before being quickly sanctioned in a 2700m Class D at La Capelle a week ago, but can more than make amends if Benjamin Rochard gets her off on the right foot

15. JOYCE DE LA COUR – 5th here before coming 3rd of 6 in a 2750m Cabourg Class D early-August. Has other priorities though and will have little to contribute

Summary: After going into her spring break on a high note, it took JOLYDOLE (8) little time to deliver after her return at La Rochelle and, already a winner for Matthieu Abrivard, can expect the lion’s share of support. JOCONDE DE RHEVE (10), however, produced a superb effort at Strasbourg on her first start with Pierre-Yves Verva and makes her Le Mans debut with a realistic chance of repeating. JODANNE DIESCHOOT (14) lost her action at La Capelle but her form is not in question and, with application, will have claims on a place in the frame. JUTONNIERE (5) missed out on the hat-trick, on re-entry, when sanctioned at Les Sables but races shod for the occasion and Antoine Wiels will be eager to set the record straight.

2. IL TROTTE JARL – Takes a break from the monté code after running 7th of 9 in a 2175m Vincennes Class C late last month and will have nothing to contribute

3. FRENCHY BERRY – Last but one behind HIVER D’AUTHISE (4) in a 2725m Pornichet Class F 3 weeks ago and chances slim at best

4. HIVER D’AUTHISE – Won at Pornichet on 8 April before running 3rd of 11 in a 2725m Class F at the same venue a fortnight later, and is unlikely to go down without a fight. Chance

5. HEROINE DES LANDES – Sent for a short spell after winning at Caen late-June, but lacklustre 7th of 9 on comeback 3 weeks ago in a 2750m Cabourg Class E, and is not about to cause an upset

6. IQUEM – Surprising 3rd of 12 in a 2100m Vincennes Class E late last month. Is better than most this time around and will not be available at 29/1

7. IDOLE D’OURVILLE – 8th of 10 in a 2700m Guingamp Class F on Sunday. Has bags of ability though and, reined by Pierre-Yves Verva this time, should not be written off

8. GERONIMO MATICA – Sanctioned in a 2800m Vire Class F on first start since November 2022. Has talent to burn and it is only a question of time before he gets his nose in front again. Attention

9. HISTOIREMIKA – Has done nothing but progress this summer, latterly 3rd of 13, beating HORS SAISON (12), in a 2725m Pornichet Class F 3 weeks ago, but can expect to find this a stiffer test

10. GALION VOLSIN – Makes first appearance since trotting 8th of 11 in a 2950m Vichy Class F late-June. Shoes on and no danger

11. GUESS FOUTEAU – Has not won for some time but caught the eye when 3rd of 14 in a 2950m Saint-Malo Class F on 13 August, and looks competitive for a spot on the podium

12. HORS SAISON – Secured her 3rd success of the season when making short work of a 2725m Pornichet Class F a fortnight ago and the double is well within her reach

13. HIP HOP DE MADKER – 10th of 11 finishers in a 2700m Thoaurs Class F 2.5 weeks ago. Capable on a good day but has had few of those lately and can be disregarded

14. HIRONDELLE FEE – Sanctioned in last 2, latterly a 2600m Class E at Le Mont-Saint-Michel 3.5 weeks ago. Is capable when focused though and will have her supporters

Summary: On cracking form since the spring, HORS SAISON (12) met no opposition on his way to victory at Pornichet recently and, even going shod, she has been entrusted to Franck Nivard for the first time, and can repeat. Similarly impressive on his penultimate start, HIVER D’AUTHISE (4) sports 4 pads for just the 2nd time, will be reined by Matthieu Abrivard, and looks the main threat. GUESS FOUTEAU (11) left a good impression at Saint-Malo a month back and, twice a winner in 3 starts at Le Mans, must be afforded significant respect. IQUEM (6) put on quite the show in Paris recently and Benjamin Rochard has stayed faithful.
