THOR LIGHTNING (4) is returning from a break and has proven form on this track . ALPHA WONDER (5) remains open to improvement and looks the type to progress further, while LAVENDER BREEZE (10), who made an encouraging start to her career in France could have more to offer.

Summary: SUMMER WAY (2) narrowly got the better of MISSION SECRETE (5) last month and, having been on her return that day, is entitled to strip fitter. With conditions likely to be less testing, she can confirm that form. GLORI LEADER (4), who can be a little reluctant, may benefit from the addition of cheekpiecess and looks well treated at this level. EMBIEZ (6) will be aiming to pick up where he left off last year and is another to consider in a competitive handicap.

PAUL DE TARSE (10) ran an excellent second at Bordeaux and looks poised to strike in this grade before long. Summary: Unlucky in his first attempt in handicaps, CAPE CANNON (9) is expected to run well again, especially as he appreciates this track. BOIS REGNY (16), at the bottom of the weights, is not the most straightforward but could be interesting with cheekpieces fitted for the first time. JOURY (6) competed in strong fields last season and makes a much-anticipated return. Now back on a more favourable mark, NOFIX (3) also deserves a mention in a competitive lucky last race.

- KETBERNY – Won a Class F over 2500m at Chatelaillon-La-Rochelle on 29 March. Has won his last two with driver Benjamin Rochard and the combination could strike again
- KARBONE CASH – Finished 3rd in a Class E over 2000m at Lyon Parilly on 31 March. That run was decent enough to give him a chance in this event
- JUVAMINE RENARDIER – Moderate 5th in a Class E over 2175m at Vincennes-GP on 22 January. She will race fully shod this time but she looks unlikely to be competitive in this

- KANCALAIS – Finished 2nd in a Class E over 2800m at Cholet on 22 March. Was runner-up behind KASH QUICK (12) in that race and that should make him competitive again
- KEEP SECRET – Finished 8th in a Class B over 2700m at Vincennes-GP on 28 November 2024. Comes back from a lengthy break and is best ignored
- KASH QUICK – Won a Class E over 2800m at Cholet on 6 April. That was a victory full of authority and it would come as no surprise were he to double up
- JULIO DU RIB – A mediocre 7th in a Class F over 2800m at Vire Normandie on 8 February. Form not good enough to make her a threat. Will race fully shod
Summary: This race could produce an exciting finish but it is KASH QUICK (12) who gets the nod. He has built up an excellent rapport with driver Clément Duvaldestin and the manner of his last victory gives an indication he could double up. The main dangers look to be KEROSEN DU GERS (5), who proved he had returned to form with a victory last time, KETBERNY (2), who is looking for three in a row with Benjamin Rochard, and KNOK (8), who could battle to overcome his starting position.

Summary: KRACK CLEA (10) proved his preference for a right-handed track when running out a decent winner at Saint-Galmier in his penultimate start and could reproduce that form on this occasion. JUPITER PLANCHETTE (7) showed up well after a break and racing without shoes this time should be able to produce his excellent earlier form. KENZO D’EVA (1) indicated a return to form last time while JAZZY THOURJAN (11) should be competitive under Mathieu Mottier.
