R1 VINCENNES [L-H]
C1 – PRIX PYTHIA – 2850m (a2m) – Class B – Harness – EUR € 75,000
- KRYSTAL PIYA – Goes barefoot for just the 2nd time in his career after having been eliminated in a 2100m Class D here early this month, but still has nothing to contribute
- RIKITA JP – Tough mare stepping back up in category after 3 solid performances at 3 separate tracks. Has placed just once over 2850m on the main track but in present shape is easy to fancy for the win
- EDGAR SABA – Clearly capable but has not been at his sharpest this term and, considering the opposition, will struggle to make his mark
- HAMILTON DU HAM – Surprise 4th to IBIZA BELLA (9) in a 2100m Class B here on 11 April, however a repeat seems highly unlikely
- KAMEHAMEHA – Put in a good showing on comeback when 3rd in a Class A over track and trip on 17 April. Takes a dip in category, will have come on for the run, and is eminently capable of contesting the finish
- INDY DARK – Has taken time to come to hand this term but ran reassuring 4th, a place behind IN RED (8), in a Class A over course and distance on 13 May, and with form maintained can again figure prominently
- GIMS DU PLESSIS – Runner-up to IBIZA BELLA (9) in a 2100m Class B here on 11 April before encountering traffic problems next time. Is not about to win this but nevertheless has a decent chance of picking up a first-5 payout
- IN RED – Has done nothing but improve since returning from his winter layoff, most recently 3rd in a Class A over course and distance on 13 May, and will be expected to give another competitive run. Place chance
- IBIZA BELLA – Courageous winner of a 2100m Class B here on 11 April but was not as fortunate on 2 May. Form is not in question though and will be expected to play an active role this time
Summary: It may be a small field but there is no obvious contender. RIKITA JP (2) has won twice this term, including over 2850m, and can expect significant support. It won’t be all plain sailing though if KAMEHAMEHA (5) and IN RED (8) replicate their respective latest runs. IBIZA BELLA (9) did not enjoy the best of trips here earlier this month, 3 weeks after having imposed over 2100m, and must not be too hastily-condemned.

C2 – PRIX ABUNDANTIA – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class B – Harness – EUR € 52,000 - MARILYN MONROE – Useful on a good day but has found the going tough over recent months and chances appear limited
- MESSINA – Handy filly that imposed over 2100m here in March before running 4th in a Vichy Class B 2.5 weeks ago. Has form over 2700m but may just be taking on too much this time
- MARADONA ELLIS – Ended the Winter Meeting with 3rd in a Class A over track and trip but has looked rather ordinary since returning to competition and can be passed over
- MISTER CHARLY – Surprise 4th, a place behind MONTEQUILLO (13), in a Class B over course and distance on 13 May. Has never run closer than that over 2700m though and others preferred
- MIX CASH – Showed significant promise at 3 but has just the one race under his belt since December. Sports a fresh formula but will still be race-rusty
- MOHAWK – Left a good impression on re-entry when 7th behind MON PLAISIR (12) in a Class B over track and trip on 6 April. Is clearly better than that, will have improved for the run, and has a decent chance of trotting his way into the picture
- MAESTRO DU CHOQUEL – Progressive colt that was eliminated on re-entry in 13 May race of reference. Will have come on for the run but still not a priority
- MILORD DE BUY – Sent for a spell after winning a Cagnes Class A, but was disappointing on return in 6 May race of reference and even though reconfigured, still looks an outsider
- MILA DES COUPERIES – Quality mare that was eliminated on comeback in 13 May race of reference. Has placed just once over 2700m but is still worth keeping an eye on
- MELLOW SPEED – Sent for a rest after pulling off the hat-trick under these conditions in mid-April. Lost his action early on re-entry but JMB is back in the bike and will be determined to set the record straight. Chance
- MONSIEUR AS – Won on comeback at Cordemais mid-April but was eliminated in 6 May race of reference. Entrusted to Yoann Lebourgeois for the first time and can play a role if he assures his charge’s initial strides
- MON PLAISIR – Won a Class C under these conditions in April prior to running 4th in a Class B over course and distance earlier in the month. Sports a fresh configuration and will not be sent out at 23-1 this time
- MONTEQUILLO – It took a few runs but he got back in the game on 13 May when 3rd in a Class B over track and trip. Is reunited with Paul Ploquin who won with him last summer and has a reasonable chance of making first 5
- MUZE MAKER – Exceptional since starting to race barefoot. Is unbeaten in 2 starts over course and distance and is not incapable of extending that to 3
- MACHIAVEL BOURBON – 5th, a place behind MON PLAISIR (12), in a Class B over track and trip early this month, on just his 2nd start back. Will be at peak fitness by now and Eric Raffin will be eager to put things right
- METIDJA – Made up for March run when 4th under these very conditions on 2 May. Takes on the boys this time though and is unlikely to spring any surprises
Summary: A fine servant that has won 5 of his 8 career starts, MUZE MAKER (14) made short work of a Class C under these conditions recently and has a realistic shot at repeating. Gabriele Gelormini will be justifiably wary though of the classy MELLOW SPEED (10) who lost all chance at the start on re-entry here earlier in the month. MOHAWK (6) will have improved for his comeback run and will not be far off the mark if he keeps his action together. MACHIAVEL BOURBON (15) has a pair of runs in him since the winter break and is due a considerably better performance this time around.

C3 – PRIX KLOTHO – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class C – Harness – EUR € 53,000 - I CAN WIN GARDENIA – Useful on a good day but faces a stiff test on his Vincennes bow and is not about to set off any fireworks
- PERFECT – Returns to Vincennes after having run 2nd over 2140m on re-entry at Halmstad 3.5 weeks ago. Faces a tougher bunch here though and even with Alexandre Abrivard reining is unlikely to spice things up
- LOYAL DU CHOQUEL – Serious trotter with a pair of return runs under his belt since the spell. Presents fine Vincennes references and is easy to like for a first-5 payout
- FAWAZ MIL – Hardy element that secured victory in a 2100m Class D here a week ago, on first start at the venue. Mathieu Mottier reins this time and must be respected
- PURE STEEL – Eliminated as often as not since coming to France but has nevertheless been in fine shape. Would have picked up a cheque here earlier in the month had he stayed in stride, and is worth monitoring
- KRUNCHY – Has merit but has struggled to make his presence felt lately and can be ruled out
- FORCE OF NATURE – Has a particular liking for 2700m here, even though eliminated last January. Takes a notable dip in category and can get back in the game
- LE GRAAL – Took some time to get back down to business after having missed all of 2025, latterly commanding winner of a 2100m Class D here a month ago, and steps up in category with every chance of confirming
- ELTYME – Lost her way earlier in the year but defied her odds when 2nd in a Class C under these conditions on 13 May, and looks a more serious proposition this time around
- ENEA FONT – Has done everything asked of him since moving to the Guarato stable, latterly 4th in a Class E under these conditions on 6 May. Returns to the venue with morale intact and can make the frame this time
- ELLEN RIPLEY – Has looked very ordinary since coming south and can expect to have few friends
- LOVELY DU VALLON – Capable mare starting for the first time since late-January and is going to need the race
- LAURELINA – Makes the long trip to Paris after producing some fine performances in the south of the country. Has placed just twice in 5 starts over course and distance though and others easier to back
- MASERATI HALL – Moderate Swedish import that has yet to deliver in France. Returns from a 4 months layoff and is not about to influence the outcome
- L’ATOLL – Good, consistent trotter returning to racing left-handed after running 5th in a Vichy Class B 2.5 weeks ago. Has nothing to prove over 2700m here and, considering the entry, should not be overlooked
- KAMIKAZE DU CAMPUS – Pleased in both starts since returning to competition, and has form over 2700m. Is ideally-engaged but chances still appear slim
Summary: Enjoying something of a renaissance since starting to race competitively-shod, LE GRAAL (8) dominated a Class D here a month back and, sporting a fresh configuration this time, will be expected to repeat. He nonetheless faces stiff opposition from ELTYME (9) who was beaten only by a very good horse here recently, and ENEA FONT (10) whose return to France has proved profitable. Considerably better than recent figures would suggest, FORCE OF NATURE (7) is not to be underestimated.

C4 – PRIX DE CLAIREFONTAINE – 2850m (a2m) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 59,000 - GISARO – Not the easiest of horses to use but gave an excellent account here before being kept on the boil at Thouars, and will not disappoint provided he stays in stride
- IZIJAL – Fine campaigner but failed to deliver in last 3. Will be shod to preference and, reunited with Alexandre Abrivard who won with him here in February, should not be ruled out
- ISOLEE DU BOUILLON – Sprang a 76-1 surprise when 3rd, a place behind IROISE DE MADKER (8), in a 2700m Class E here on 17 April. A repeat, however, seems improbable
- ICARE DUNGY – Oddly out of sorts in a 2700m Class E here on 17 April but has otherwise been in cracking form. Is new to 2850m here but has a liking for Vincennes and can contest the finish
- ITALIANO DI PAO – Got straight down to business at Rambouillet last month, on first objective of the season. Followed up with 2nd to IDOLE ELDE (10) in a Durtal Class F on 1 May, is confirmed over 2850m here, and cannot be discounted
- ISIS DE LA FERME – Won a claimer over course and distance last month on first start for new handler. Will be shod as she was that day after having prepped at Thouars, but faces a much stiffer test on this occasion
- GROUPIE DU QUENNE – Went off the boil last season and has picked up this term where she left off
- IROISE DE MADKER – Made a fine Vincennes debut on 17 April when courageous 2nd in a 2700m Class E. Prepped at Le Mans 3 weeks ago and returns to Paris with a good hand to play
- IENISSE DE BARBRAY – Runner-up in both Vincennes starts, both over 2700m. Is barefoot for the occasion and will be no pushover if he takes to the particular nature of 2850m of the main track
- IDOLE ELDE – Serious mare that seldom lets the side down with Mathieu Mottier reining. Is nicely in here and has a realistic chance of imposing
- INFIEL – Has disappointed for the most part since returning from a spell and can be confidently disregarded
- GITANO JACK – Produced quite the surprise when 3rd of 16 in a Class D over 2100m here earlier in the month, but will struggle to confirm
- INDY DE LA FYE – Has acquitted himself respectably in both return runs but is out of his depth this time
- ILTON DE BELLANDE – Dependable type that ran 4th behind IENISSE DE BARBRAY (9) on re-entry in a Toulouse Class E in late-March. Will have progressed for the race, boasts a fine record with Matthieu Abrivard, and must be respected
- INCAHUASI – Form has done nothing but regress since 20 March and is not about to create an upset
- HERAKLION DESBOIS – Put in a good showing, despite a tough trip, to run 4th in a Class D over track and trip early this month. Enjoys a good entry but has been dropped by Eric Raffin and others easier to back
Summary: Winner at Durtal before holding her own against some good 7yo’s at Le Mans, IDOLE ELDE (10) thrives with Mathieu Mottier and looks good enough to win her 2nd at Vincennes. She will feel the heat though from the excellent ICARE DUNGY (4) whose recent blip can be ignored, and IENISSE DE BARBRAY (9) who ran 2nd in both barefoot starts this year. Runner-up here in April on her first start at the venue, IROISE DE MADKER (8) will be barefoot this time and must be taken more seriously. Fourth under these conditions earlier in the month, GISARO (1) will be reunited with Gabriele Gelormini and can again finish in the mix.

C5 – PRIX LAVATER – ETRIER 4 ANS Q3 – 2700m (a1m1/2) – – Mounted – EUR € 120,000 - MARIO DE LA VALLEE – Has moved his game on since beginning to race barefoot. Faces a considerably bigger challenge this time but still cannot be ruled out
- MESSI PASS – Promising at 3 but has been struggling so far this year and must first get his house in order
- MALICE CAILLERIE – Well-regarded but has never delivered at this level. Has been fitted with 4 pads for the first time, but is still not a concern
- MILOR DE LA VALLEE – Gr.1-placed in December but has been difficult to trust since and, even with Eric Raffin back in the irons, is still not an obvious choice
- MOJITO FRAISE – Put in a good showing when 4th to MISS DES BESACES (10) in 2450m Gr.2 Prix Henri Ballière 3 weeks ago despite losing ground at the start, and can make the frame this time if also steered clear of traffic problems
- MELODY DE VIVOIN – Unexceptional filly making first appearance since being eliminated in Gr.1 Prix des Centaures 3 months ago and will have few takers
- MUNHOA VEDAQUAISE – Has not once finished out of first 3 when applied. Lost her action early at Caen but must still be taken seriously. Chance
- MATIGNON – Has yet to impose at this level but has come close more than once. Has not been as performant as some others here but in current condition can nonetheless play a small role
- MANITAS DE TRUCHON – Ran 3rd to MISS DES BESACES (10) in Prix Rene Palyart prior to coming 2nd to her again in Prix Henri Balliere. Is as game as they come and merits considerable respect
- MISS DES BESACES – Has taken her game to a new level since starting to race barefoot. Has demonstrated fine versatility and can pull off a 3rd straight Gr.2
- METEORE DE SIMM – Returns to conditions he adores after a brace of conditioners. Mathieu Mottier has opted for a new formula and looks main threat to MISS DES BESACES (10)
Summary: Winner of the Gr.2 Prix Rene Palyart late last month before repeating a fortnight later in the Gr.2 Prix Henri Ballière at Caen, MISS DES BESACES (10) will be well-backed to secure the three-timer. Alan Gendrot will still be mindful of Gr.1-winning METEORE DE SIMM (11) who sports a fresh configuration for his first objective of the spring, and the in-form MUNHOA VEDAQUAISE (7) who will have her chances if she gets off on the right foot. Sent for a rest after securing the Gr.2 Prix Louis le Bourg in February, MOJITO FRAISE (5) held his own at Caen and should again figure prominently.

C6 – PRIX KISSA – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class C – Harness – EUR € 68,000 - IERMES DE GUEZ – Surprise 6th in a 2100m Class C here 2 weeks ago. Sports 4 pads this time and is unlikely to influence the outcome
- HERMES D’ECROVILLE – Ran 3rd under these conditions earlier in the year but has looked rather ordinary since and can be overlooked
- HESCORT LOVE – Showed some improvement when 5th in a Caen Class C 3 weeks ago but will be less-competitively-shod this time and others preferred
- IOUPY TOLLEVILLE – Somewhat disappointing since placing over 2850m here in March, but has form with his driver and it would be potentially foolhardy to ignore his prospects
- IVOIRE DAIRPET – Showed marked improvement on 23 April when victorious in a 2850m Laval Class D. Will be shod as he was that day and can again figure prominently provided Eric Raffin manages to keep him trotting
- ISIS D’HERFRAIE – Moderate mare that has made little impression since returning from her break, and is not expected to make much of an impact
- HAJIME – Very good servant that ran 2nd under these conditions earlier in the year. Has not been seen out for over 2 months but will be reunited with Mathieu Mottier and must be considered a player
- JACOMO BELLO – Tough trotter who came close to winning a Class C over course and distance last week. Is clearly back in business and could well have his day in the sun this time
- IVRIG VIKING – Tricky element that ran 3rd, a place behind HERMES LUDOIS (11), in a Class D here on 10 April before being well-beaten a fortnight later, and represents no more than a minor place chance
- I STILL LOVING YOU – Can prove a handful but is otherwise difficult to knock when focused. Barring a pair of eliminations has been in excellent shape this season and Alexandre Abrivard will be justifiably confident of doubling up
- HERMES LUDOIS – Returns to Vincennes after coming 4th in a Vichy Class D 3.5 weeks ago. Benefits from a fine entry and has a reasonable chance of making first 5
Summary: Hard to fault when focused, I STILL LOVING YOU (10) got back down to business here early this month and returns to racing over 2700m with a realistic chance of doubling his money. That being said, JACOMO BELLO (8) just missed out under these very conditions a week ago and Thomas Levesque will be keen to put things right. IVOIRE DAIRPET (5) has done nothing but improve since returning to competition and his recent Laval performance augurs well for his chances. Reliability may not be his strong suit but IOUPY TOLLEVILLE (4) will be barefoot, with Franck Nivard reining, and cannot be ignored.

- LILOU D’ATOUT – Takes a giant leap in category after clinching a 2700m Class D here on 21 April and appears to be out of her depth
- LAY UP – Gave a good account of himself on monte debut, coming 3rd of 6 finishers to LIBERTE DU GOUTIER (11) in 2175m Gr.2 Prix Jean Gauvreau here on 12 May. Benjamin Rochard aboard this time and must be worth retaining
- LEMON FLEURY – Has taken well to his new vocation and although unraced since mid-December, he will have been specifically prepared for this and has the wherewithal to finish close
- LASKA DU LEVANT – Returns to 2700m after running tenacious 2nd to LAMBADA DU GOUTIER (9) in Gr.2 Prix Louis Forcinal over course and distance on 24 April. Sports a fresh configuration for the occasion and should be taken seriously
- LYZIA DES AGETS – Ran 3rd to LARA DU LERRE (8) in a Class A under these conditions before being eliminated in 12 May race of reference and is not about to shake things up
- LOOPING DAY – Has done nothing of note under the saddle since winning Gr.2 Prix René Palyart here in April 2025 and can be confidently passed over
- LARA DU LERRE – Somewhat made up for Prix Louis Forcinal elimination when 4th in Prix Jean Gauvreau on 12 May but will still need to find more
- LAMBADA DU GOUTIER – Tough individual that has won 2 of last 3, latterly Gr.2 Prix Louis Forcinal over course and distance on 24 April. Reverts to a hitherto unsuccessful formula but on good behaviour can give LIBERTE DU GOUTIER (11) something to consider
- LAKANA DE FELLIERE – Has been acquitting herself honourably since returning to competition, latterly runner-up to LIBERTE DU GOUTIER (11) in 2175m Gr.2 Prix Jean Gauvreau here on 12 May. Is in good company once more but can still pick up a cheque
- LIBERTE DU GOUTIER – Came out the other side of her layoff in superb form, securing 2175m Gr.2 Prix Jean Gauvreau here on 12 May. Returns to Vincennes with morale on a high and has a realistic chance of repeating
- LOVISSIME – Has been less-performant this term than she was at 3 and 4. Was eliminated in Prix Jean Gauvreau and can expect to have few takers
- LISBONNE DRY – Good class of mare with a pair of re-entry runs in her since late-February. Is clearly in race-mode this time and must be taken seriously
Summary: LIBERTE DU GOUTIER (11) took no time showing her form when dominating the Gr.2 Prix Jean Gauvreau here 2.5 weeks ago; she is also a Gr.2 winner over 2700m and is just preferred to the more complicated LAMBADA DU GOUTIER (9) who kept on well to secure the Gr.2 Prix Louis Forcinal under these conditions late last month. Gr.1 Prix des Centaures runner-up, LISBONNE DRY (13) is barefoot following a pair of fresheners and with application will be no soft touch. Put away for the winter after coming 3rd in Gr.1 Prix Jag de Bellouet last December, LEMON FLEURY (4) is competitively-shod for his return to the track and is unlikely to be far from the action.

C8 – PRIX SAPPHO – 2175m (a1m1/4) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 40,000 - MISTER FRIPOUILLE – Moderate sort that ran 6th of 8 behind MAJON (3) in a Class D over track and trip mid-month, and is not about to upset the status quo
- MAN IN LOVE – Serious colt that lost his action when full of running here on re-entry early this month. Gets a top pilot this time and, with application, can wrap this up
- MAJON – Put in a good performance, despite encountering traffic problems, in a Class D under these conditions a fortnight ago. Gets a 2nd crack at racing barefoot and Arthur Rebèche will be out for redemption
- MAZAR DE VANDEL – Has failed to make any impact since returning from his winter break and will first need to re-establish his credentials
- MANFREDO – Makes Vincennes bow after 2 straight eliminations, most recently in Nantes. Has merit though and, reconfigured for the occasion, can play a small part
- MAJOR DE TIMM – Fine trotter that was quickly eliminated on comeback at Le Croise-Laroche last week. Jean-Michel Bazire in the bike this time and will be no easy touch if he keeps him trotting
- MIGHTY DREAM – Placed in 3, including over track and trip, before being quickly eliminated in a Class D under similar conditions a month ago. Is as honest as they come and, with application, will not be far off the mark
- MAFIOSO DREAM – Trounced over course and distance here on 17 April before comfortably winning a Caen Class E on 3 May. Is confirmed racing left-handed and Yoann Lebourgeois can be confident of another performant run. First 5
- MINUS DE CHENU – Returns to racing barefoot after failing to deliver at Enghien on 18 April but still cannot be considered a player
Summary: Sent for a rest after imposing at Pontchateau in early-March, MAN IN LOVE (2) could well have confirmed on re-entry early this month had he not run into traffic problems over course and distance. Benjamin Rochard has been drafted in for the occasion and enjoys a realistic chance of putting things right. He will, however, be pitted against the good MAJOR DE TIMM (6) who takes to the main track for the first time with JMB in the bike, and MAJON (3) who was denied a run here 2 weeks ago. MIGHTY DREAM (7) is plainly in good shape and has been reconfigured in a legitimate bid to make the frame.

- JIGSAW D’AMOUR – Unreliable and finished 12th in Class F at Cabourg over 2725m on 11 July. Returns from a break but could be a threat if fit enough
Summary: AZZ OPERA (4) is on a winning streak and will understandably attract strong support but this is a tougher assignment than his recent races. JIGSAW D’AMOUR (11), one to note on his return. The in-form JOLIE CLAIRE (9) has shown some improvement of late an dwill try to challenge. - NICO DU CAIEU – Has not done much wrong yet and won last time out in Class F at Rambouillet over 2800m on 14 May. Can score again
Summary: A very competitive looking race. NEVADA DARBY (6) and NETWORK (7) both opened their accounts last time and will look to follow up, NEVADA DARBY (6) did impress at Bihorel-lès-Rouen so gets the narrow vote. NETWORK (7), is however, improvining and will not go down easily. They must be wary of the ultra-consistent NICO DU CAIEU (9) and the tricky NAY MADRIK (8), who start from the second row and are capable of scoring.
