- ONE DAYDREAM – Set off no fireworks in qualification when posting 1’20’7 at Caen 3 weeks ago, and can be passed over
- ONLY MAN – Qualified in a good 1’18’3 under harness at Grosbois on 11 August. Hails from a yard firing on all cylinders and can make his debut a victorious one
Summary: Entrusted to Yoann Lebourgeois, OKENOBI DAIRPET (8) will be expected to make amends for his debut elimination when challenging for victory. Principal opposition should take the form of ONLY MAN (11), whose qualification did not go unnoticed, followed by OTHELO DE LA LONDE (6), who was beaten by little first time out, and 4th-placed OCTAVE QUARTO (3) who should improve with Benjamin Rochard in the bike.

- MALICE LUDOISE – Finished 3rd in a Class E at over course and distance on 1 October. Has taken a liking to Cabourg conditions and should prove competitive at the business end of the race
- MOLITA – Finished 3rd, on comeback, in a Class E at Vire over 2,800m on 6 September. Will have progressed for the run and can expect the lion’s share of support
- MALAVITA RULES – Finished 7th in a Class D at Enghien over 2,250m on 15 October. Tends to go well for Anne Barthélemy though and should have the wherewithal to pick up a cheque

- MAXIMUS DECIMUS – Pulled-up in a Class F at Saumur last Sunday. Is undeniably capable but would have better prospects at a lower level
- MALKER D’ALOUETTE – Easily got off the mark in a Class F at Vichy over 2,950m on 12 September. Has had ample time to get back to his best, starts in front, and the choice of driver speaks for itself. Claim

- MIRACULOUS DANOVER – Finished 2nd in a Class F at Durtal over 2,825m on 11 October, however confirmation seems most unlikely
- MYTHE D’ERABLE – Unplaced in a Class E at Cabourg over 2,750m on 28 July. Enjoys a good entry and racing barefoot may be just the ticket to his redemption
