C1 – PRIX DU BAR DES SPORTS – 2950m (a2m) – – Harness – EUR € 22,000

  1. MILOU DE TOUCHYVON – Finished 3rd in a Class F at Durtal over 2,825m on 20 July 2026. Is clearly close to his race, starts on front row and, while unlikely to get his nose in front, can nevertheless challenge for a place in the frame
  2. MY STORY – Occasionally a handful but can trot. Ran 3rd in a Class E at Pornichet over 2,725m on 18 July 2026 and, if applied, will not be far off the mark
  3. MA ROSE DE SARTHE – Rather disappointing in both return runs, most recently 6th in a Class E at Le Mans on 25 July, and will need to find significantly more
  4. MOLSHEIM – Quality element that failed to confirm his Chartres success when eliminated in a Clairefontaine Class E 3.5 weeks ago. Form is not in question though and merits a certain respect
  5. MASTER ORANGE – Unremarkable sort facing a tough test after running 7th in a Carentan Class E 10 days ago, and will have few friends
  6. MOUMBA DE MIENNAIS – Honest filly whose form is headed in the right direction, lastly 2nd in a Class E at Le Mans on 25 July, but in this category is out of her depth
  7. MAESTRO ECUS – Complicated individual returning to racing right-handed after 3 straight sanctions. Has yet to make his mark under harness and others easier to back
  8. MARIOLE – Useful sort but has not been seen out since June 2025 and is going to need the race
  9. MARVELOUS PIYA – Second in a Class D at Caen over 2,450m on 22 June 2026, making up for Meslay sanction. Is hard to knock when focused and has already won with her driver. Place chance
  10. MALICIA BELLA – Finished 8th in a Class D at Vincennes over 2,700m on 12 June, the first defeat of her short career. Has been afforded time to get back to her best and is expected to take all the beating
  11. MAYA DES GENETS – Finished 7th in a monte Class C at Enghien over 2,250m on 18 July 2026. Is here for conditioning sake and can be ruled out
  12. MY DREAM – Had been on a productive run of form before losing his action in a Class E at Cabourg over 2,750m on 7 July. Is a serious colt though and will be no easy touch if Jean-Philippe Dubois keeps him trotting
    Summary: MALICIA BELLA (10) has had numerous options over recent days but has ultimately been aimed at Saint-Malo and can return to winning ways. Richest runner in the field, MY DREAM (12), impressed at Vincennes in June and recorded the only victory of his career on a right-handed track. In excellent form, MARVELOUS PIYA (9) can also get involved at the finish. MILOU DE TOUCHYVON (1), with Eric Raffin in the bike, starts in front.

  14. LOTUS DU RIB – Won a Class E at Lisieux over 2,675m on 15 July. Comes to Saint-Malo on a hat-trick of right-handed runs and will be dangerous at the business end of affairs
  15. LEWIS D’ALEXIANE – Victorious in a Class F at Durtal over 2,825m on 20 July. Returns to a hard surface, sports 4 pads for the occasion and, with application, can give this a good go
  16. LUXURY DU DOUAROU – Encouraging 2nd in a Lisieux Class F before being sanctioned at Carentan 10 days ago and can be passed over
  17. LEADER BOY – Comfortable winner of a Class E at Segre over 2,700m on 28 June 2026. Has won 6 of 7 with Eric Raffin and will logically take all the beating
  18. LUNA DOMA – Was unable to confirm Cabourg performance when eliminated in an Enghien Class E a fortnight ago and is unlikely to spring any surprises
  19. LE BARON BEZILLAT – Modest individual that has made little impact for some time and is not about to change his ways
  20. LORD DE BRION – Ran 4th in a Segre Class E 2.5 weeks ago despite faulting in the latter stages. Is not about to spring a surprise but can still finish close
  21. LUI DU DONJON – Got back in the winners’ circle at Segre in June before being eliminated in an Enghien Class E 3 weeks ago. Imposed here this time last year and benefits from a good entry. First 5
  22. LADY DU CEDRE – Very hard to knock over past year when barefoot, lastly dominating a Cabourg Class E on 10 July, and with form maintained can pick up another win
  23. LORD SUN DRALIAM – Returns to racing clockwise after being eliminated at Segre. Has otherwise been in decent shape but is not a concern this time around
  24. LETTY DE BEYLEV – Kicked the year off nicely but has since come off the boil and latest monte performance did nothing to inspire confidence
    Summary: LEADER BOY (5) has been almost faultless with Eric Raffin and can score again. He will, however, face a stern test from LOTUS DU RIB (2) who is better than ever. LADY DU CEDRE (10) excels racing barefoot. After a tough start to his season, LORD DE BRION (8) has returned to form over recent weeks.

  25. JANE HUDSON – Handy mare but has not been seen out since coming fourth in a Class F at Cabourg over 2,750m on 2 January and can be ignored
  26. INDY FOUTEAU – Fourth in a Class E at Royan-La Palmyre over 2,475m on 26 July. Has not put a foot wrong since mid-March, won over course and distance earlier in the year, and warrants respect
  27. JACQUOT DU DOME – Encouraged at Arras in June but has twice failed to confirm and is not an obvious choice
  28. PLAYBOY DE REVE – Has a pair of runs under his belt following the break, most recently 2nd over 2650m at Tongres 3 weeks ago. Won a Quinte over shorter last season, will be barefoot for the occasion, with Eric Raffin reining, and is unlikely to be far off the mark
  29. JOKER CASTILUANNE – Sprang something of a surprise when 3rd in a 2600m Class E at Le Touquet 3 weeks ago, however a repeat seems most improbable
  30. WALDGEIST – Good, consistent type with an excellent entry on the front line. Goes as well racing right-handed as left- and looks competitive for a cheque
  31. IRAFARA – Tricky element that has struggled for much of 2026. Reverts to a previous formula but is still not a priority
  32. JACKPOT MEARAS – Left quite the impression when winning a Class E Quinte at Les Sables-d’Olonne a month ago. Boasts a superb win-rate and has a realistic chance of opening his French account
  33. HASHTAG SIMONI – Third in a Class D at Vincennes over 2,700m on 6 June. Is plainly close to his race, has decent clockwise references, and will be expected to contest the finish
  34. JOMA OV – Reassuring 4th in a 2400m Amiens Class D a week ago. Is unlikely to create an upset but should nevertheless hold her own
  35. DILVA JET – Has done nothing but improve since her spring spell, most recently finishing 3rd in a Class E at Vincennes over 2,850m on 19 June. Should take well to Saint-Malo conditions and can expect considerable support
  36. HUDSON BAIE – Fourth in a Class E at Pornichet over 2,725m on 23 July 2026. Has solid clockwise form but is not the most reliable, and others easier to support
  37. XANTHIS HILTON – Swedish raider making French debut after a short layup. Is new to racing right-handed but has considerable talent, and looks good enough to finish in the mix
    Summary: JACKPOT MEARAS (8) made an impressive winning French debut at Les Sables-d’Olonne in early July and can follow up. Joining him on the second row, HASHTAG SIMONI (9) has finished on the podium on his last three starts and has excelled in his limited appearances racing right-handed, much like DILVA JET (11) who sports a new configuration. Richest horse in the field, XANTHIS HILTON (13) is barefoot for his French bow and must be taken seriously.

  38. QUINTUS TOOMA – Swedish trotter making French bow after 3.5 months off the track. Will be barefoot, with Damien Bonne in the bike, but is not a priority
  39. QUEEN OF THE NIGHT – 6th in a Class G at Cabourg over 2,750m on 24 July 2026. Goes barefoot for the first time this year but others still preferred
  40. EXPLOIT KRONOS – Serious sort with form in good company. Thrives with the day’s driver and can wrap this up if he takes to the new profile
  41. TRIXWITHTRIMMIX – Returned to winning ways over 2650m at Vaggeryd early last month. Entrusted to Mathieu Mottier for French bow and should have the wherewithal to secure a race of this nature
  42. KAMARAN MADRIK – Reassuring winner at Bagnoles-de-l’Orne mid-July but has twice failed to confirm and others easier to trust
  43. KIARA DES BORDES – 6th in a Class E at Chateaubriant over 2,300m on 7 June 2026. Reverts to a previous formula but is still not a concern
  44. KING SUN DRALIAM – Moderate element that has placed just twice in 8 starts this year and recent eliminations do nothing to inspire confidence
  45. KARAMEL JOYEUX – Stylish winner of a Class D at Cabourg over 2,750m on 24 July. Steps up in category but is present shape is hard to ignore. First 5
  46. KANELLE DE TILLARD – Finished 10th in a Class F at Ecommoy over 2,750m on 19 July 2026. Has been off the boil for some time and can be ruled out
  47. KING OF DAY – Has been excelling over recent months, latterly comfortably winning a Class F at Craon over 2,775m on 6 July. Sports 4 pads as he has done at Caen and looks a serious proposition
  48. RED D’OVER – Started to get back in the game during the spring but has since lost his way and will first need to reaffirm
  49. KAMTCHATKA – Finished 5th in a Class E at Cabourg over 2,750m on 24 July 2026. Is clearly much-improved and, given the engagement, will have her supporters
  50. KALYPSO DE THIERRE – Successful in a Class D at Cabourg over 2,750m on 24 July 2026, confirming his June score at Le Touquet. Is unlikely to win this but can still finish close
  51. KOBRA JENILOU – Serious trotter that most recently ran 3rd in a 2750m Cabourg Class E 12 days ago. Is new to Saint-Malo but is a confirmed right-hander and can pick up some prizemoney
    Summary: As solid as a rock in both starts with Benjamin Rochard, EXPLOIT KRONOS (3) is thoroughly proven racing right-handed. Swedish challenger TRIXWITHTRIMMIX (4) can make him work hard after showing good form in Sweden. The home challenge is headed by a padded KING OF DAY (10) who won here in the spring on his only previous start at Saint-Malo, and the nicely-entered KALYPSO DE THIERRE (13) who has returned to form.

  52. LUNELLA LEMAN – 6th in a Gr.3 at Vincennes over 2,850m on 21 June. Already a Gr.2 winner this year but is here for reasons of conditioning and best to keep one’s powder dry
  53. LEMON TREE – Fifth in a Class D at Laval over 2,850m on 28 March 2026. Is out of his depth at this level and can be ruled out
  54. LASKO DES BROUSSES – Authoritative winner of a 2875m Enghien Gr.3 a month back, his first objective of the new season, and will be a tough nut to crack if focused
  55. HEUREUX DE FLEUR – Has been knocking at the door since winning at Vincennes in mid-May, lastly runner-up in a Class B at Cabourg over 2,750m on 17 July, and will be expected to finish in the mix
  56. KATCHI QUICK – Serious trotter that made amends for blowing up at Vincennes when victorious in a Class C at Chatelaillon over 2,500m on 27 July, and a repeat is not out of the question
  57. LORD DELO – Excellent runner-up in a Gr.3 at Vincennes over 2,850m on 21 June, after having won at the same level over 2700m the previous month. Is plainly at the top of his game and from the front row can make this his own
  58. JOYCE DELTO – Third in a Class D at Lisieux over 2,725m on 15 July 2026. Won the Châteaubriant leg during the spring but, at this level, would be preferred barefoot
  59. HOMARD LAND – Finished 3rd in a Class B at Enghien over 2,875m on 22 July 2026, making up for his Vincennes blip. Takes on a tougher lot here and the extra 25m does him no favours
  60. JE REVE DU BOIS – Finished 8th in a Class A at Vincennes over 2,850m on 13 May 2026. Has not been seen out since but is proven in superior company and hard to discount
  61. L’AS DESBOIS – Has not raced since coming 2nd in a Gr.3 at Vincennes over 2,850m on 2 May. Shoes on this time and best to hold off
  62. INDIGO DE FONTAINE – Successful in a Class A at Cabourg over 2,750m on 17 July 2026. Has not delivered at this level since February 2024 though and others preferred
  63. IALTO D’HERTALS – Starts for first time since finishing lacklustre 10th in a Gr.3 at Le Croise-Laroche over 2,825m on 20 May. Has otherwise been a model of consistency and will be entrusted to Mathieu Mottier for the first time. Attention
  64. HEDIC GEMA – Has not been seen since running 4th in the Agen edition of the GNT over 2,625m on 17 June. Will have been specifically prepared for this and is unlikely to let the side down
  65. HORATIUS D’ELA – Unplaced in a Gr.2 at Vichy over 2,950m on 30 June after having run 2nd in the Laval renewal. Is well-engaged for his return to the GNT and is not one to be underestimated
    Summary: Runner-up in the Gr.3 Prix de Grasse last time, LORD DELO (6) is immediately handed an excellent opportunity from the front row, right at the limit of earnings. Never worse than second in his last nine starts with Jean-Michel Bazire, he sets a high bar. Eliminated on re-entry, LASKO DES BROUSSES (3) quickly made amends with an impressive victory and looks the main danger alongside KATCHI QUICK (5) who has already notched up six wins this year. HEUREUX DE FLEUR (4) ran a fine second at Cabourg last time and can contest a place on the podium, as can the richest runner in the field, HORATIUS D’ELA (14), runner-up in the Laval leg.

  68. KRISTALE D’ERABLE – Third in a Class F at Lisieux over 2,725m on 15 July. Has been knocking at the door and looks main threat to KEPHYR D’ESTE (4)
  69. KEPHYR D’ESTE – Has won 2 of last 3 starts, latterly securing a 2875m Enghien Class C a month back. Is new to the venue but excels with Adrien Lamy, and will be well-backed to win this
  70. KOQUIN DU PERCHE – Finished 10th in a Class E at Lisieux over 2,725m on 15 July 2026, his first start since January. Goes barefoot this time but still remains an outsider
  71. KANSAS DU HOCTI – Successful in a Class C at Les Sables D’Olonne over 2,775m on 24 July 2026. Has been impossible to fault under the saddle over recent months and must be respected. First 5
  72. JABLO DU CHENE – Runner-up in a Class D at Cabourg over 2,750m on 10 July 2026, complementing his Vichy performance 9 days earlier. Is not a priority but is still capable of picking up some prizemoney
  73. HIS DREAM DE CAHOT – Fifth on re-entry in a harness Class C at Enghien over 2,875m on 25 July. Shoes off this time but will need to find considerably more
    Summary: Despite the presence of several in-form rivals on the second row, this looks an open contest and could go the way of the front-row runners. KEPHYR D’ESTE (4) is well suited to right-handed tracks and, in current condition, is easy to fancy. Consistent in recent weeks, KRISTALE D’ERABLE (3) sports modified shoeing and should give another good account. Delicate but talented, KORINTO BELLO (1) is the least-wealthy horse in the field, but certainly not the least capable. PERFECT (2) finished second on his only previous start under the saddle.

  76. KANELLE – Encouraged at Elbeuf in June before being eliminated at Cabourg 2 weeks ago. Starts on front row but appears to be out of her depth
  77. JASPER DES PRES – Unplaced in a Class F Amateurs’ race at Pornichet over 2,725m on 30 July 2026. Has placed just once in 9 starts this year and can expect to have few takers
  78. JOKER BODENSEE – Made up for a string of eliminations when victorious in a Cabourg amateurs Class G on 28 July. Benefits from a front-row start and, with application, can play a prominent role
  79. JAMAICA DES ILES – Raced 6 times in July, most recently 4th in a Biarritz Class H last Friday. Goes well for Bertrand Meslin but is unlikely to shake things up
  80. KIRWAN THORIS – Takes first competitive steps in the amateur division after running 7th in a Cabourg Class D 2 weeks ago. Is nicely-entered on the front row and should not be underestimated
  81. KORIOLIS DE ZIETTE – Victorious in a Class F at Vichy over 2,800m on 23 June. Takes a notable dip in category and a similar effort would see him finish in the mix
  82. KIMMAJO – Made short work of a Class F at Les Sables D’Olonne over 2,650m on 6 July, making it 3 wins from last 4 starts, and Sébastien Laboutique can be justifiably confident of another big run
  83. ISMIR DE L’ORMERIE – Has nothing to prove at this level but has been out of sorts over recent weeks and will need to get his house in order
  84. IRON MAN – Back on track following a tough spring, lastly 2nd in an amateurs Class G at Cabourg a fortnight ago. Is nicely-engaged here and should be taken seriously
  85. IMAGINE GIRL – Won a Class F Amateurs’ race at Meslay-du-Maine over 2,875m on 28 July. Seldom disappoints with Arthur Raffin reining and must be regarded a priority
  86. GRACIEUX GALBE – Made up for Laval sanction when 2nd in a Guerlesquin amateurs Class H 10 days ago. Is not a leading contender but can trot and will have his supporters
    Summary: Current leader of the Grand National du Trot des Amateurs with Sébastien Laboutique, a reconfigured KIMMAJO (9) will bid to secure a third leg of the series. On a hat-trick, the older IMAGINE GIRL (12) will not give up without a fight. Both, however, must concede 25m to JOKER BODENSEE (5) who produced a dominant display at Cabourg just last week. IRON MAN (11) is also in good form and has solid claims.

  87. NALA DE MALIKEN – Placed in first 2 before finishing 7th in a Class D at Hyeres over 2,650m on 16 June, and in this company will have her work cut out
  88. NICE AND FORTUNE – Has not been seen out since finishing runner-up in a Class E at Le Mans over 2,950m on 21 May. Clearly has a lot more to give and will have her chances if she turns
  89. NAOMIE DEUGE – Fourth in a monte Class A at Vincennes over 2,175m on 9 June 2026. Has placed in both disciplines here but still appears to have too much to do
  90. NUAGE DIVIN – Second in a Class D at Vichy over 2,950m on 29 June. Clearly has promise but, in this category, can expect to find the going tough
  91. NEW YORKER – Quickly eliminated in a 2750m Cabourg Class C on 10 July. Has placed in his other 4 starts and can play a role if Julien Dubois gets him off on the right foot
  92. NITCH DE REVE D’OR – Disqualified last time out in a Class C at Vichy over 2,950m on 1 July when still competitive. Reverts to racing shod and the engagement of Benjamin Richard could make all the difference
  93. NAMOUR DE MONTFORT – Runner-up in a Class E at Cabourg over 2,750m on 10 July. Takes on a better bunch this time and with shoes back on will struggle to make his mark
  94. NOLIO DU BARBEY – Fifth in a Class C at Cabourg over 2,750m on 10 July 2026. Has not been at his sharpest lately and others preferred
  95. NACOMA RUN – Runner-up in a Class E at Cabourg over 2,050m on 7 July after having lost her action at Caen a month earlier. Has shown significant potential and on good behaviour will not be far from the action
  96. NETCHE BEST – Fourth in a Class D at Enghien over 2,875m on 16 July. Consistently gives his best but cannot be considered a contender
  97. NICKNAME BOND – Imposed at Cholet in June before coming 2nd in a Class E at Cabourg over 2,725m on 17 July. Continues to race in the same configuration and, if applied, will be no pushover
  98. NAPOLITANO VERO – Serious gelding who should not be condemned for Enghien performance 2 weeks ago. Has been re-shod for the occasion and David Thomain will be eager to put things right
  99. NORMAN LE BEAU – Successful in a Class E at Cabourg over 2,750m on 10 July, on just his 2nd start back. In this company, is unlikely to spice things up, but should nevertheless give an honourable account
  100. NIKY WAY – Fine colt in the making and ran second in a Class E at Enghien over 2,150m on 9 July. Will have come on for the race and returns to racing clockwise with a good hand to play. Place chance
    Summary: A quality future prospect, NAPOLITANO VERO (12) was most unlucky on his seasonal return at Enghien but sports a fresh formula and has the capability to make amends. He will, however, have to see off the promising, and shod, NITCH DE REVE D’OR (6), who was battling for victory when he lost his action at Vichy, and the superbly-entered NIKY WAY (14) who gave a fine account on his re-entry. NICKNAME BOND (11) has already run well here and in current condition is easy to recommend for a spot in the picture.

  1. THE ODYSSEY – Fifth in a Listed at Longchamp over 2,000m on 7 June 2026. Faced a potent field last time and will be competitive in this company
  2. VASSY – Not disgraced when fifth in a Class 2 at Saint-Cloud over 1,600m on 29 May 2026. Made a promising return last time after 2 good performances in 2025 and could be ready to win again
  3. LE LEGIONNAIRE – Runner-up in a Class 2 at Dax over 2,100m on 17 July 2026. Will need to find more to be a threat in this race
  4. FALASTINI – A well-beaten 8th in a Conditions race over 2100m at Dax on 17 July. Finished last in that race and looks unlikely to feature
  5. LITTORAL NORD – Showed some improvement when fourth in a Class 3 at Dax over 2,100m on 29 June 2026. Beaten 3.25 lengths by CRACKING GOOD TIME (6) so does look held but could place
  6. CRACKING GOOD TIME – Victorious in a Class 3 at Dax over 2,100m on 29 June 2026. Has recorded two wins in her four starts and should fight out the finish once again
    Summary: VASSY (2) put up a really decent effort last time in his return from an eight-month break and in his first time going over further than 1600m looks the runner to beat in this field. THE ODYSSEY (1) contested a Listed race last time and dropping in class will be competitive. CRACKING GOOD TIME (6) has run well in her four races so needs to be considered, and her last race gives LITTORAL NORD (5), who finished 4th in that race, a place chance.

  7. ALHAMA RIVER – Showed promise and was third in a Class 2 at Dax over 1,400m on 29 June 2026. Began his career last year and was rested but has two strong performances this season
  8. NEW CONNECTION – Well-beaten in a Handicap over 1600m at Ascot in the UK on 18 June. His two previous races were decent enough to give him some sort of chance in this race

    Summary: A convincing winner at Le Mans, IDEAL D’URZY (10) has the means to follow up in this lucky last race if he stays disciplined throughout. From the front line, JACKPOT DU DOME (5) looks a serious rival provided he is at his best. JAVA FAST (12) benefits from a drop in class and could be a threat. JACKPOTINA (6), who needed her comeback run with shoes on, should improve significantly racing barefoot.
