C1 – PRIX DE LA PORTE D’ASNIERES – 2875m (a2m) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 35,000

  1. NO ONE JACK – Unplaced in both starts to date, most recently a 2225m Class F at Agon-Coutainville on 14 July, and can be passed over
  2. NINO VERO – Moderate element that has placed just once in 9 races. Finished 5th in a Class E at Enghien over 2,150m on 26 July and although not a priority, will still have his supporters
  3. NEVERLAND MIJACK – Failed to confirm Clairefontaine performance when unplaced in a Class E at Cabourg over 2,750m on 31 July 2026. Has yet to deliver on a hard surface and others preferred
  4. NEO DE FAEL – Outclassed the opposition in a Class F at Rambouillet over 2,000m on 5 July 2026. Is unbeaten in 2 starts with his trainer in the bike and can impose once more
  5. NAEL D’AVEL – Lost his maiden status in a Class F at Pornichet over 2,725m on 18 July 2026. Faces a tougher test this time but is a colt with potential and is unlikely to let the side down
  6. NOGERO – Finished 4th in a Class E at Cabourg over 2,750m on 31 July 2026. Has a lot going for him here and looks main threat to NEO DE FAEL (4)
  7. NARKOS DU PAIN – Lost his action early in a Class D over course and distance 3 weeks ago. Has been entrusted to Benjamin Rochard for the occasion and should prove competitive when it matters
  8. NET ESPOIR – Made up for early-July elimination when victorious in a Class F at La Capelle over 2,700m on 20 July 2026. Left quite the impression that day and, unbeaten with his driver, must be respected
    Summary: Back on a hard surface after a dominant display at Rambouillet, NEO DE FAEL (4) has been reconfigured and, if applied, can make this his own. The nicely-bred NOGERO (6) sports a new formula and backs up with legitimate ambition. Impressive at Pornichet last time, NAEL D’AVEL (5) steps up in category with a lot to offer.

    C2 – PRIX DE LA PORTE DE MONTREUIL – 2250m (a1m1/2) – Class C – Harness – EUR € 38,000
  9. OLLY D’AMOUR – Well-related filly out of the excellent Graziella D’Amour. Qualified in good order in May and has a realistic chance of getting off the mark at the first time of asking
  10. OLYMPE BARAKA – Qualified in 1’17’6 at Meslay-du-Maine on 19 June. Trainer has a good record with juveniles and, with stride in check, can get straight down to business
  11. OMERTA LIAMONE – Qualified in an unremarkable 1’20’4 at Grosbois in early-June and is unlikely to spring any surprises
  12. ORGANZA DE BLARY – Untried filly that qualified in 1’18’8 at Caen in early-May. François Lagadeuc in the bike for career debut but is still not a priority
  13. OLYMPE DE JARY – Finished 6th in a Class D over course and distance on 18 July. Was eye-catching in qualification though and should be afforded a second chance
  14. OLALA D’OURVILLE – Finished 3rd in a Class F at Bernay over 2,300m on 26 July, first time out. Takes on a better lot here and chances appear limited
  15. OUMEA QUEEN – Second in a Class F at Ecommoy over 2,225m on 19 July, first time out. Will have improved for the run and can play a role if she takes to the new conditions
  16. OVATION DU CHOQUEL – Qualified smartly in May before being eliminated on debut at Le Touquet. Put things right when 3rd in a Class D over track and trip early last week and in similar shape can finish close
  17. OCEANIE DE TILLARD – Runner-up on debut at Ranes on 12 July before repeating at Carentan 2 weeks later. Takes to a hard surface for the first time in public but is clearly useful, and with Robin Lamy reining will be afforded every chance
  18. OLIVIA DE MER – Fourth in a Class D over course and distance on 26 July, 8 days after coming 3rd on debut under similar conditions, and the engagement of Eric Raffin can make all the difference
    Summary: Well-bred debutantes OLLY D’AMOUR (1) and OLYMPE BARAKA (2), both well-qualified and representing leading nurseries, can fight out the finish if they manage to stay trotting. Already race-tested and partnered by Eric Raffin for the occasion, OLIVIA DE MER (10) is also easy to like. OVATION DU CHOQUEL (8), who bounced back from an unsuccessful debut with an encouraging effort under these conditions, completes the shortlist.

  19. IMPACT PLAYER – Third in a Class E at Feurs over 2,100m on 17 July after having beaten a number of these a fortnight earlier. Starts on the inside but can still challenge for a place on the podium
  20. INFIEL – Unexceptional sort that was eliminated in a Class D under these conditions late last month and even with shoes off is unlikely to spice things up
  21. IDEFIX JIHEM – Unlucky in a Class D over track and trip on 25 July after having run 3rd in a Quinte under similar conditions 3 weeks earlier. Has pulled a good number and Esteban De Jésus will be out to set the record straight
  22. HEROS DHELPA – Runner-up in a Class D over 2,875m here on 11 July. Is well-positioned on the front line and, with form maintained, can impose
  23. ISSIA DE CHARLY – Finished 9th in a Class E at Feurs over 2,100m on 17 July after having run 6th behind IMPACT PLAYER (1) over course and distance a fortnight earlier, and cannot be considered a priority
  24. IDEAL DE SASSY – Has struggled somewhat since placing at Agon on 5 July. Is better than recent numbers would suggest though and cannot be discounted
  25. ADAMO DIPA – Useful on a good day but unplaced on comeback in a Class D at Enghien over 2,150m on 18 July, and appears to need another race
  26. IDEAL DELADOU – 7th in a Class F at Lisieux over 2,725m on 2 July 2026 and in this company will struggle to make his presence felt
  27. INTREPIDE DES BOIS – Runner-up in a Class E at Le Mans over 2,950m on 25 July after having run 3rd in a Class D over course and distance on 18 July. François Lagadeuc would have preferred a better draw but still warrants respect
  28. COMES WITH AGE – Ran 3rd in a Class C over course and distance in late-June. Comes here fresh, with the champion driver reining, and at this level can open his French account
  29. ORLANDO YOUNG – Left a good impression in June re-entry but has failed to deliver in 3 since and looks no more than a minor place chance
  30. ROSSI GARLINE – Runner-up in a Class E at Arras over 2,900m on 2 August. Has shown little love for Enghien and can be passed over
  31. RUGER – Produced a pair of good runs before failing to deliver at Arras last Sunday, but is plainly in good shape and backs up with a decent chance of getting in on the action
  32. GISARO – Romped in a Vichy claimer before losing his action in a 2875m Class D here on 11 July. Faces a tough test once again but has merit and, despite a tough draw, will generate some interest
    Summary: Despite a second-row draw, COMES WITH AGE (10), who has shown plenty of ability since leaving Scandinavia, is the standout selection and can count on Eric Raffin to give him a competitive drive. Very much at home at Enghien, HEROS DHELPA (4) recently showed his form over a longer trip and has the natural speed to make the podium. Well drawn behind the car, IDEFIX JIHEM (3) is next best ahead of IMPACT PLAYER (1) who has been knocking at the door.

  33. MISTER INVICTUS – Finished 7th in a Class D over 2,150m here on 18 July and is unlikely to create an upset
  34. XERAVA C.D. – Finished 5th in a Class C over 2,150m on 27 June. Has been acquitting herself well since imposing at Pontchateau in April and from the front row is unlikely to let the side down
  35. DAYAK (ITY) – Won a Vincennes Class E in June before repeating in a Class D over 2,150m here on 18 July. Steps up in category for the occasion but breaks in front and will be no shrinking violet
  36. JUST DU CHATELET – Victorious in a Class D at Vincennes over 2,100m on 12 June, complementing his May success, but is shod for first start since the layup and best to hold off
  37. JIPET DE CREPIN – Has not been pushed lately but is a tough nut to crack when focused. Is shod to preference this time and will be expected to bring the fight to JILORD VIVA (9)
  38. GOLD MENCOURT – Has not been seen out since finishing unplaced in a Class B at Vincennes over 2,100m on 11 April and is clearly in conditioning-mode
  39. INDY DARK – Gave a good account on comeback when 5th in a Carentan Class D late last month. Will have come on for the run, and sports modified shoeing, but the handicap will do him no favours
  40. IN RED – Third in a Class B over course and distance on 11 July. Has form at a superior level and even from the second line can make a big splash. Attention
  41. JILORD VIVA – Finished 3rd in a Gr.2 at Vichy over 2,950m on 30 June. Seldom disappoints with Eric Raffin reining and is eminently capable of winning a race of this nature
  42. GIMS DU PLESSIS – Victorious in a Class B at Vincennes over 2,850m on 29 May. Has not been seen out since, and starts on back row, but has good speed and should not be underestimated
  43. GALA DE CRENNES – Well-regarded element with a pair of runs under his belt since the spell. Is shod to preference but can expect to find the going a bit tough
    Summary: Even though having to concede ground, the tough JILORD VIVA (9), reunited with Eric Raffin, looks capable of returning to winning ways. From the front row, JIPET DE CREPIN (5), who is in race-mode this time, and DAYAK (3), who made a successful start for his new stable, are likely to provide the sternest resistance. The consistent XERAVA C.D. (2) has adapted well to French conditions and has shown a liking for Enghien.

  44. LOYAL DU CHOQUEL – Unplaced in a Class C over 2,150m here on 25 July, but was never at his ease that day. He gets another crack at it though and should not be underestimated
  45. LOVING DREAM – Finished 12th in a Class D over 2,150m here on 1 July when being prepped for this. Has yet to reach last season’s form but should not be condemned for recent blip and can be brought back into the fold
  46. LAGNU MAG – Finished 7th in a Class B over course and distance on 13 June 2026. Has not made the frame since last November and is unlikely to change his ways
  47. LARIANO – Finished 5th in a Class B over course and distance on 18 July following an unfavourable trip, but is a hardy sort and can wrap this up if kept out of trouble
  48. LE CASHMAKER – Unplaced in a Class D over 2,150m here on 1 July. Has otherwise been in decent shape and, although not a priority, is still worth keeping an eye on
  49. LAMONT DU DOUET – Finished 3rd in a Class B over course and distance, at 46-1, on 18 July. Confirmation, however, seems unlikely
  50. LEGACY JIEL – Can prove something of a handful but is otherwise a battle-hardened sort. Is confirmed under these conditions and will be no pushover if focused
  51. LILY DE L’AUNAY – Sent for a spell after coming 6th in a Class F at Saint Malo over 2,950m on 23 May, a month after running 2nd in a Class B over track and trip. Is competitively-shod for re-entry and has a reasonable chance of picking up a cheque
  52. LEWIS RIVER – Finished last of 13 in a Gr.3 at Vincennes over 2,850m on 21 June. Faulted in the latter stages that day and was brought quietly in but is significantly better than that and, given the entry, is worth taking seriously
  53. LAUREATE DRY – Eliminated in 2 before finishing last of 10 in a Château-du-Loir Class F 9 days ago. Is barefoot this time but still not a concern
  54. LADY DADA – Sprang something of a surprise when victorious in a Class F at Château-du-Loir 9 days ago, however a repeat seems most improbable
    Summary: Things did not go his way here last time, but LARIANO (4) still finished courageously and, granted a smoother passage this time, will have every chance of returning to the winners’ enclosure. The barefoot pair of LEGACY JIEL (7), who has nothing to prove at this level, and LOVING DREAM (2), who has clearly been prepared with this race in mind, are preferred to LOYAL DU CHOQUEL (1) who is better than latest numbers would suggest.

  55. KALMIA QUICK – Moderate mare that showed marginal improvement when 5th in a Class C at La Rochelle 10 days ago, however is unlikely to create an upset
  56. LORD DU BASSIN – Put away after failing to impress during the spring. Has been afforded time to get his house in order and, re-shod for comeback, is easy to like for a place in the picture
  57. KNOCKONWOOD – Finished 6th in a Class D at Lisieux over 2,725m on 15 July. Is well-positioned on the front row but is by no means the most performant horse here
  58. LIZZANO D’ALOUETTE – Unplaced in a Class B at Bernay over 2,800m on 26 July. Has good speed though and at this level can open his 2026 account
  59. KEVIN PRINCE – Returns to France after completing the hat-trick at home in The Netherlands, but looks more a first-five prospect this time around
  60. JUPITER DU CORTA – Finished 9th in a monte Class D at Pornichet over 2,725m on 30 July, his first appearance since March, and is only here for reasons of conditioning
  61. LOVER MAN – Sent for a spell after being disqualified in a Gr.3 at Vincennes over 2,700m on 13 May. Is placed at Gr.2 level here and even though starting wide, still looks competitively well in
  62. KRYSTAL PIYA – Not the most dependable of horses, and most recently lost his action at Brehal 2.5 weeks ago. Is twice a winner at Enghien though, has a Gr.3 to his name, and warrants respect
  63. KENYAN BLUES – Finished 2nd in a Class E at Vincennes over 2,700m on 21 March, but has not raced since and with shoes fitted will have few friends
  64. LE GENTLEMAN – Simply superb this season, most recently dominating a Class B over 2,875m here on 18 July. Has pulled a second row draw but in current condition will be no soft touch
    Summary: Several capable individuals line up for this sprint contest. Well-drawn behind the car and shod to preference, LIZZANO D’ALOUETTE (4) looks a likely winner. Danger will come from the excellent but poorly-drawn LE GENTLEMAN (10) who is very much at home under these conditions, and LOVER MAN (7) who races barefoot for his first start back. If focused and sufficiently well-prepared, LORD DU BASSIN (2) will also have his chances.

  65. NURLAN – Finished 5th in a harness Class F at Montier En Der over 2,300m on 5 July and debuts under the saddle with limited prospects
  66. NENIN DU VIVIER – Finished 2nd, on monte bow, in a Class F at Laon over 2,850m on 19 July. Takes on a superior lot this time though and cannot be considered a contender
  67. NIMBUS DE L’AVRE – Quality element that was disqualified in a 2250m Class E on comeback here 11 days ago. Has been reconfigured this time and on better behaviour can give NOBEL DU GOUTIER (8) a run for his money
  68. NICKY JIEL – Runner-up in a Class F at Cabourg over 2,750m on 21 July, confirming his April monte debut. Reverts to an earlier formula for the occasion and is unlikely to be far off the mark
  69. NIRVANA DE VANDEL – Got off the mark in a 2200m Class F at Agon-Coutainville on 14 July, 12 days before running 4th in a 2250m Class E here late last month, and is not incapable of making first five
  70. NOOKER DREAM – Has yet to get off the mark but ran 2nd in a Class E at Cabourg over 2,750m on 28 July. Is confirmed at Enghien and, back under Luka Ott, should figure prominently
  71. NABAB BREKKA – Debuts in the discipline after finishing 8th in a harness Class E at Cabourg over 2,750m on 31 July. Clearly has ability and, re-shod for the occasion, cannot be discounted
  72. NOBEL DU GOUTIER – Debuts in the discipline after winning 2 for 2 under harness, lastly a Le Mans Class F over 2950m on 13 July, and will be hard to beat if ability transitions
  73. NATIF DE SASSY – Returns to the monte code after 2 straight harness eliminations, latterly on turf. Is unbeaten in 2 ridden starts though and while not a priority is still worth monitoring
    Summary: Unbeaten in two starts under harness, NOBEL DU GOUTIER (8) makes his ridden debut shod and with Mathieu Mottier in the irons, and has every chance of maintaining his unbeaten record. NIMBUS DE L’AVRE (3), who blundered on re-entry, will be re-shod and expected to make amends. NOOKER DREAM (6) has demonstrated serious monte potential and is in with a shout, while the unpredictable NICKY JIEL (4) looks best of the rest.

  74. MISTI DE CORDAY – Fifth in a Class C under these conditions on 22 July, a month after having run 2nd at Les Sables-d’Olonne, but on this occasion may just have too much to do
  75. MISTER CHARLY – Moderate sort that was disqualified in 22 July race of reference and is unlikely to shake things up
  76. MISS DISCO – Finished 7th in a Class C over course and distance on 18 July. Has had the benefit of 2 runs since the break and should prove more competitive this time around
  77. MOURILLON – Placed in 2 before being eliminated in a Class C over course and distance a fortnight ago. Should not be too quickly-judged though and, with stride in check, can make amends and contest a place in the frame
  78. MEYDAN VOIRONS – Just missed out on the Enghien hat-trick when runner-up in a Class C under these conditions on 22 July. Is plainly in rude health and can give MUZE MAKER (14) a run for his money
  79. MAESTRO DU CHOQUEL – Eliminated in all 3 starts in 2026. Has merit, and is proven here, but others easier to trust
  80. MARS COBBA – Finished 3rd in a Class C at Enghien over course and distance a fortnight ago. Appears to be nearing his best and looks competitive for a first-five payout
  81. MONSIEUR AS – Finished 6th in a Class C over track and trip on 1 July. has so far failed to confirm Cordemais success and is not an obvious choice
  82. MARILYN MONROE – Disqualified in a Class C under these conditions on 1 July. Is less competitively-shod this time but still cannot be ruled out
  83. MY SAVE QUICK – Second in a Class C under these conditions on 18 July, her first start for 5 months. Will have come on for the run and will not be sent out at 60-1 this time
  84. MOHAWK – Finished 3rd in a Class C over course and distance on 1 July. Has previously imposed under these conditions and, winner on his only start with Eric Raffin, is easy to recommend
  85. MISTER BARRA – Unplaced in a Class C over course and distance on 1 July, his first start since March, and best to keep one’s powder dry
  86. MARQUISE DE MAGNY – Has not been seen out since being disqualified in a monte Class B at Vincennes over 2,700m on 4 April, and will not be given a hard race
  87. MUZE MAKER – Has not been seen out since coming 3rd in a Class B at Vincennes over 2,700m on 29 May. Is a class act though, will have been prepared for this, and simply excels with Gabriele Gelormini. Claim
    Summary: MUZE MAKER (14) enjoyed an outstanding spring campaign before being given a well-earned break. Although unlikely to be at peak fitness, he benefits from a terrific entry and can get straight back down to business. Still very much on the way up after just nine career starts, MEYDAN VOIRONS (5) recently showed he can hold his own at this level and looks a serious proposition once more. MOHAWK (11) is at the top of his game and won the only time he was partnered by Eric Raffin. MOURILLON (4) and MARS COBBA (7) have little margin for error against opposition of this calibre, but both are capable of making the frame.

  1. OUT OF THE BLUE – Unplaced in a Class 3 Handicap at Fontainebleau over 1,600m on 11 April. Returns from a break and is likely to need this run
  2. ON Y CROIT – Unplaced last time out in a handicap at Vichy over 1,400m on 20 July. Capable of doing better and could earn some money
  3. LE CENTRAL – Finished 5th in a claimer at Vichy over 1,400m on 24 July. Holding form and should be involved with the finish yet again
  4. MRS HOLIDAY – Not disgraced when fifth in a Class 3 Handicap at Clairefontaine over 1,600m on 11 July. Can get into the mix of things
  5. SWEET AS – Made short work of rivals in a Class 4 Handicap at Vichy over 1,000m on 24 July. Not reliable but can double up carrying a penalty
  6. COSTARMORICAIN – Unplaced in a Class 4 Handicap at Bordeaux-Le Bouscat over 1,200m on 23 May. Does better on the PSF but is returning from a break and is not out of it
    Summary: SWEET AS (5), well suited by sprint distances and in solid form, looks poised to play a leading role once again. LE CENTRAL (3), remarkably consistent with a perfect in-the-money record, stands out as a major threat. MRS HOLIDAY (4), impressive in her last three runs, continues to progress. COSTARMORICAIN (6), judged on his best efforts, also has the ability to contest the finish.

  7. SPLENDINO – Very consistent and was fourth in a Class 3 Handicap at Dieppe over 2,400m on 30 July . Can fight out the finish once again
  8. LOFSONGUR ISLANDE – Not disgraced when third in a Class 3 Handicap at Vichy over 2,800m on 23 July. Likely to be very competitive yet again
  9. MAC EMERY – Unplaced in a Class 3 Handicap at Longchamp over 2,400m on 11 June. Capable of doing much better and could make the frame
  10. GRAND ART – Finished fifth last time out in a Handicap Hurdle at Auteuil over 3.900m on 27 September 2025. Returns from a break and could need this run
  11. AMIRAL D’AUMONT – Finished 7th in a Class 3 Handicap at Clairefontaine over 2,900m on 3 July. Has only been modest of late and more is needed to score
  12. SCAT LADY – Finished fifth in a Class 4 Handicap at Vittel over 2,400m on 19 July. Consistent and is clearly not out of it
  13. LA DO RE – Threatening to win and was runner-up in a Class 4 Handicap at Chateaubriant over 2,650m on 21 July. Can go one place better
  14. PRINCESSE DU LYS – Victorious in a Class 4 Condition Hurdle at Saint Malo over 3,900m on 22 July. Fit but needs to do more to win on the flat
    Summary: LA DO RE (7) meets a field within her reach and, with a smooth run, should be right in the mix. SPLENDINO (1), currently in good form, has the credentials to fight for victory. LOFSONGUR ISLANDE (2), in excellent condition, also commands respect and should be prominently involved. SCAT LADY (6), ultra-consistent, is another logical contender who is unlikely to be far from the finish.

  17. PENNY GREY’S – Has struggled of late, finishing 7th in a Class 3 at Castera-Verd. over 1,700m on 19 July. Has a place chance in a weak race
  18. REGIS CAMBACERES – Finished 9th in a Handicap at Clairefontaine-Deauville over 1,400m on 6 July. Has not shown much so far and others are preferred
  19. ROCKABELLA – Only modest of late and finished 6th in a Maiden at Le Touquet over 1,300m on 26 July. Capable of improvement and might play a minor role
  20. RENA ZALANDA – Finished 10th on debut in a Conditions race at Clairefontaine-Deauville over 1,800m on 3 July. Capable of improvement but others make more appeal
