R1 VINCENNES [L-H]
C1 – PRIX CHARLEY MILLS – 2700m (a1m1/2) – – Harness – EUR € 75,000
- KIKI AND CO – Moderate element with better prospects in the other code and is not a concern
- NIAGARA RIVER – Second in a Class C under these conditions on 17 September. Seldom lets the side down when focused and is unlikely to be far off the mark
- ZOOM DIAMANT – Returns to a track he appreciates after winning a 1900m Gr.3 at Mariendorf 3 weeks ago and can again contest a place in the frame
- DIABEL – Finished 9th in a Class C under these conditions on 17 September. Is undeniably capable but has for some time been a long way off her best form and can be ruled out
- KELLE BEAUTE – Capable mare facing first objective of the autumn after a pair of conditioners. Has been reconfigured, is confirmed with Alexandre Abrivard, but looks a minor place chance at best
- COOL KRONOS – Finished 4th in a Class C at Beaumont-De-Lomagne over 2,550m on 14 September. Regularly gives his best, but in this category will have little to contribute
- JOUR DE FETE – Unplaced in a Class D Apprentices’ race over 2,850m here on 17 September. Has done nothing noteworthy since early-July and is not about to spring any surprises
- FREEDOM (NOR) – Successful in a Class C at Les Sables D’Olonne over 2,000m on 28 August. Seldom disappoints when barefoot and with Eric Raffin back in the bike will not be far from the action
- KHAL’S FELLA – Finished 3rd, on comeback, in a Class C at Les Sables D’Olonne over 2,000m on 28 August. Will have progressed for the run and can again trot his way onto the podium
- JUST A MIDI – Ran second over course and distance in June but has subsequently come off the boil and is unlikely to generate much interest
- JALENDRA DE MALAC – Starts for the first time since coming third in a Class B at Cagnes-sur-Mer over 2,925m on 13 July. Is plainly in race-mode for the occasion and is unlikely to let the side down. Place chance
- JIZOU D’ETANG – Comfortably won a Class C over course and distance on 5 September, continuing his productive ways. Is head-and-shoulders better than the opposition and David Thomain will be keen to reinforce the point
- JASON GINYU – Fourth in a monte Class B over course and distance on 11 September. Showed his harness form at Laval in August and is easy to fancy for a first-five payout
Summary: JIZOU D’ETANG (12) made it three in a row when wrapping up a Class C here early last month and should have the measure of KHAL’S FELLA (9), who made a particularly good re-entry, the serious JALENDRA DE MALAC (11), who comes here fresh, and ZOOM DIAMANT (3), a recent Group 3 winner in Berlin.

C2 – PRIX JUSTICIA – 2850m (a2m) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 46,000 - LADIVA DE PARIS – Back under harness after being disqualified in a monte Class F at Cabourg two weeks ago and will have other priorities
- LADY DE RICO – Unplaced in a Class E at Mauquenchy over 2,850m on 10 September and is not about to set off any fireworks
- L’ULKA DI LEONE – Won a Laval Class F a month ago, two weeks before running 3rd in an Amiens Class F. Debuts for new yard and should not be underestimated
- LAURA DE CREPIN – Fifth in a Class E at Feurs over 2,850m on 7 September. Is new to Vincennes but is patently taking on too much
- LADY D’ELFE – Sprang something of a surprise when victorious in a 3000m Nantes Class E a week ago. A repeat seems unlikely but could still pick up some prizemoney
- L’ELITE DU CHOQUEL – Well-beaten in a Class E here 3.5 weeks ago before winning in Mons 11 days later, but in this field will have nothing to offer
- L’IDOLE DRY – Difficult to fault when focused but has been disqualified in her last four starts and can expect to have few friends
- LOLA DE VILLARD – 3rd in a Segre Class F on 13 September. Is already twice a winner this summer and despite the hike in category, will be re-shod and should not disappoint
- LAHANNA DESBOIS – Made amends for Beaupreau elimination when victorious in a Class F at Les Sables-d’Olonne a month ago, and will be a tough nut to crack if Alexandre Abrivard keeps her trotting
- LILIE D’OMAHA – No slouch on a good day but has failed to make any impression since returning to competition and will need to get her house in order
- LADY PRINCESS – Finished 3rd in a Class B at Rambouillet over 2,800m on 20 September. Should not be condemned for last month’s Vincennes run and, with a better start, can put things right
- LEONTINE CASH – Fourth in a Class B at Le Croise-Laroche over 2,825m on 14 September, her first start since the spell, and is easy to like for the win
- LYRA POTERIE – Unplaced in a Class C over 2,700m here on 20 September, her first appearance since winning a Cabourg Class D in late-July. Is on the back line but will be shod to preference and cannot be discounted
- LA STAR DES ISLES – Ran 7th in a Class C at Vincennes over 2,700m on 20 September. Is capable on a good day but form is subject to caution
- L’ETOILE D’ETE – 4th in a 2775m Craon Class D 3.5 weeks ago. Has been hard to fault for some time and looks main danger to LEONTINE CASH (12)
- LUTELLIA MONNERIE – Third in a Class D at Pornichet over 2,725m on 19 September. Takes on some better horses this time but benefits from a terrific entry and should not be written off
Summary: After a comeback run that will have done her good, LEONTINE CASH (12), who boasts some strong form, will be shod to preference this time and looks a solid choice despite the presence of the highly consistent L’ETOILE D’ETE (15), reunited with Benjamin Rochard. At the front, the tricky LAHANNA DESBOIS (9), in good form, and L’ULKA DI LEONE (3), a recent arrival at Mathieu Mottier’s yard, can also make their presence felt. Still relatively unexposed, LADY PRINCESS (11) sports a fresh configuration and can get in on the action.

C3 – PRIX ATALANTE – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class E – Harness – EUR € 41,000 - KANTARELLE – Ran reassuring 2nd in a Saint-Omer Class F on 30 August. Has previously imposed under these conditions but not at this level
- KING CASH CEKE – Finished 4th in a Class E at Cavaillon over 2,525m on 18 September. Is clearly back on the right road, but on this occasion is out of his depth
- KAMARAN MADRIK – Put a pair of disqualifications behind him to come fourth in a 2750m Cabourg Class F in mid-September and, on good behaviour, can play a small role
- KAMIKAZE DRY – Just missed out on the double when 2nd in a Laval Class E 3 weeks ago. Has earned the right to race in this company and looks a decent place chance on Vincennes bow
- KIARA DES BORDES – Won a Class F over course and distance earlier in the year but has placed just once since and will have nothing to offer
- KOH PHI PHI ISLAND – Sprang something of a surprise when fourth in a 2850m Class E here on 20 September, however a repeat seems unlikely
- KERRO DE HOUELLE – Finished 13th in a Class F Apprentices’ race at Pornichet over 2,725m on 19 September, his first start since March, and is not about to create an upset
- KIMMAJO – Runner-up in a Class E at Argentan over 2,875m on 16 August. Is new to the Vincennes main track and even though in excellent form, will have more to find
- KORIOLIS DE ZIETTE – Took his game to another level when dominating a Class E under these conditions a month ago, and in similar shape will again take all the beating
- KATHARINA DE MAI – Imposed at Laval in August then ran 2nd in a 2850m Class E here 12 days ago. Can prove a handful but in current shape looks a serious proposition
- KAISER VRIE – Talented but never far from losing his action, as he showed when disqualified in a 2850m Laval Class E 3 weeks ago. Trainer in the bike this time and will be expected to put things right
- KYMIJALLY – Disappointing in 2 since leaving the Riviera, most recently disqualified in a Pornichet Class F a fortnight ago, and can be passed over
- KIROYAL DU VINOIS – Is not devoid of ability but has been out of sorts over recent weeks and will first need to reassure
- KEEPSAKE MOSSA – Fifth in a Class E over course and distance on 4 September. Has not put a foot out of line since June and is unlikely to return home empty-handed
- KELRAPIDE DU LUPIN – Quality element that took little time returning to his best, lastly third in a 2850m Class E here 12 days ago but may just be taking on too much this time
- KID SMILE – Fifth in a Class E at Les Sables D’Olonne over 2,775m on 26 August. Is well-engaged here, and has form under these conditions, but still appears to be taking on too much
- KLEMS DE JAVIE – Finished 5th in a Class E at Laval over 2,850m on 10 September. Always gives his best but in this category will have his work cut out
- KISS COOL MIJACK – Good, consistent type that ran 4th in a Class E over course and distance early last month. Eric Raffin stays faithful and will be legitimately competitive for a spot in the money
Summary: KORIOLIS DE ZIETTE (9) was a class above last time and, racing barefoot again, should be capable of following up. The main opposition will come from KATHARINA DE MAI (10), who went close here recently, despite some misfortune. Consistent and tough, KAMIKAZE DRY (4) comes next, ahead of KAISER VRIE (11), a good finisher when given the chance. KISS COOL MIJACK (18), well-engaged and with Eric Raffin reining, is difficult to ignore.

C4 – PRIX LUDOVICA – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class D – Harness – EUR € 56,000 - JADE DE NAVARY – Pleased more than once during the spring, but out of the picture in last four and latest effort did nothing to inspire confidence
- JUNIOR STEED – Finished 6th in a Class F at Chartres over 2,825m on 11 September, 11 days after having imposed at Vittel. Goes barefoot this time but can still expect to find this a tough test
- JYTRACE DE HOUELLE – Serious sort that ran reassuring 4th in a Reims Class E on 13 September. Presents excellent Vincennes credentials and, while not a priority, cannot be ruled out either
- JAIFA DE L’ITON – Was unable to secure the hat-trick when disqualified in a Class E at Abbeville last weekend. Is unbeaten in 4 with Yoann Lebourgeois and can expect considerable support
- JOHORE – Tricky but talented individual facing first objective of the autumn following a pair of much-needed fresheners. Goes barefoot this time and, given his liking for the Vincennes main track, must be afforded respect
- JAZZ D’OURVILLE – Was deservedly rewarded for his efforts when clinching a 2100m Class D here on 11 September. Has nothing to prove under these conditions and can make a big impact
- JOB DES LOUANGES – Capable trotter but will be shod for his return from a layup and best to keep one’s powder dry
- JACKSON D’ARC – Fourth in a Class C at Toulouse over 2,950m on 25 September. Is confirmed over course and distance but on this occasion is out of his league
- JOG JELOCA – Runner-up in a Class E Apprentices’ race at Amiens over 2,400m on 19 September. Ran second on his sole start here, is consistently in the thick of things, and very hard to ignore. Place prospect
- JUDOPOCK – Fourth in a Class C at Cavaillon over 2,600m on 18 September. Has never delivered here but has not finished outside the first 5 since the spring and should be retained
- JEWEL DE BANVILLE – Unplaced in a Class E at Pornichet over 2,725m on 19 September, just his second start since the layoff. Is competitively-shod this time and with Eric Raffin reining will be afforded every chance
- JOEY DU NOYER – Finished 6th in a Class E at Les Sables D’Olonne over 2,775m on 21 August, 12 days after having won at La Roche-Posay. Has no Vincennes references though and may be taking on too much this time
- JOHNNY MIX – Made it 4 on the trot this summer when victorious in a Class E at Reims over 2,500m on 13 September. Has raced left-handed just once since 2022 but with Mathieu Mottier in the bike could well make it 5 in a row
- JERICHO – Surprise 5th in a Cagnes Gr.3 in August but was a less-impressive 5th at Mons a fortnight ago and can be passed over
Summary: JAIFA DE L’ITON (4) won two races in a row here last winter, and did so in good style. She since won twice on turf during the summer and returns to the capital with leading claims. JOHNNY MIX (13) has won his last four, and would probably prefer racing right-handed, but will no easy touch if he adapts to the new profile. Winner over 2100m here 3 weeks ago, JAZZ D’OURVILLE (6) is an obvious contender. JOG JELOCA (9) has not put a foot wrong for some time and is easy to like, as is JUDOPOCK (10) who has been knocking at the door.

C5 – PRIX HIP’POKER TOUR (PRIX ANDROMEDA) – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Class C – Harness – EUR € 46,000 - MOLLY DU VALLON – Finished 15th in a Class D over 2,100m here on 11 September, a fortnight after having placed at Lisieux. Is barefoot this time but others still preferred
- MALVINA MADRIK – Disappointing in last two here, most recently disqualified in a 2100m Class C here 2 weeks ago, and can be passed over
- MUSIQUE CLASSIQUE – Unplaced in a Class D over 2,100m here on 11 September. Should be fully-fit by now and Jean-Philippe Dubois will be expecting to set the record straight
- MAYA GERBEHAYE – Finished 8th, on comeback, in a Class B at Chartres over 2,825m on 11 September, and is being prepared for a campaign under the saddle
- MISSLADY DU VICLAU – Has not been seen out since running 5th in a Class B over course and distance on 2 May. Shoes fitted and no threat
- MA LIBERTE – Finished runner-up in two before being disqualified early in a 2100m Class C here 2 weeks ago, but can make amends if she gets off on the right foot
- MILADY DE LA PIECE – Clinched victory in a Class D at Enghien over 2,875m on 13 August. Comes here fresh and will be well-backed to confirm
- MASAI MARA – No slouch but has made no impact in 3 since returning from her break. Sports modified shoeing but others still easier to back
- MAYOLA VEDAQUAISE – Capable filly with solid course-and-distance credentials. Has failed to impress over recent months, but it is just a question of time before she comes good again
- MINERVE DE VANDEL – Runner-up in a Class C at Laval over 2,850m on 19 August, after having won 2 on the trot. Races shod this time though and will have other plans
- MOONLIGHT STAR – Finished 5th in a Class C over 2,175m here on 5 September. Enjoys a good entry and with Eric Raffin in the bike is not about to disappoint. Chance
- MIA DE SIMM – Won a Class D over 2,100m here on 11 September. Has never delivered over 2700m here but in current condition is hard to ignore
- MERRY RIVER – Ran 6th in a Class C at Enghien over 2,875m on 18 July. Has been rested since but is barefoot for re-entry, enjoys a good engagement, and the Benjamin Rochard-factor must be taken into account
Summary: Like a horse reborn since switching yards, MILADY DE LA PIECE (7) will be barefoot for her return to Vincennes and can bring home the bacon once more. MOONLIGHT STAR (11) drops down the category-ladder and should provide the principal opposition, along with MIA DE SIMM (12) who imposed here three weeks ago. With application, MA LIBERTE (6) is a viable place chance.

C6 – PRIX ETAMIN – 2100m (a1m1/4) – – Harness – EUR € 46,000 - NOROMAOR – Ran 3rd to NORDLAND VEDAQUAIS (6) in a 2700m Class E here on 18 September but has ground to make up and looks a minor place chance at best
- NIKO DU TRIEUX – Made it 3 for 3 when easily winning a Class C at Vichy over 2,950m on 5 September. Is decently-placed on the front row and can give NIGER DU VIVIER (7) a run for his money
- NOBLE PETTEVINIERE – Ran 4th in a Class C over 2,850m here on 15 September. Is well-placed behind the car but may not find the main track to his taste
- NOVIALO – Finished 5th in a Class C at Enghien over 2,875m on 10 August. Has evident ability but would be preferred a level down
- NORTON ELCE – Third in a Class C at Divonne over 2,600m on 20 August. Has done nothing but improve since returning to competition and although unlikely to win this, will sport pads for the first time and can challenge for a place in the picture
- NORDLAND VEDAQUAIS – Lost his action on Vincennes debut on 26 August, but put things right when dominating a 2700m Class E a fortnight ago. Is new to the distance but won his only start with David Thomain and will be no soft touch
- NIGER DU VIVIER – Failed to pull off the three-timer when eliminated early in a 2850m Class C here in late-August, but Yoann Leborgeois knows him well and will be determined to get him off on the right foot this time. Claim
- NEWTON DE MONGOCHY – Won a monte Class D over 2,700m here on 15 September. Races here for reasons of conditioning and is unlikely to shake things up
- NEWTON DE CORS – Won a Class E over course and distance on 1 September but was disqualified a fortnight later over the inner course. Is not ideally-drawn here but still warrants respect
Summary: NIGER DU VIVIER (7), who must be forgiven his recent blunder, the unbeaten NIKO DU TRIEUX (2), partnered by Eric Raffin, NORDLAND VEDAQUAIS (6), dropping in trip but in excellent form nevertheless, and a padded NORTON ELCE (5), who is close to his race, are difficult to separate.

C7 – PRIX LILIUS – 2700m (a1m1/2) – – Mounted – EUR € 60,000 - MAGNOLIADARCHE – Ran 6th in a harness Class B over course and distance, when preparing for this, on 12 September. Seldom gets his head in front but consistently gives his best and will not be available at 131-1 this time
- LOUVE ANGEL – Finished 4th in a Class C over course and distance on 25 September, having imposed across town the previous month, but is taking on too much this time
- GUARDAMI – Starts for the first time since running 6th in a harness Class A at Enghien over 2,875m on 13 June. Is competitively-shod for comeback and could well open her monte account at the first time of asking
- LUCAS – Capricious type that was disqualified on comeback in a harness class B early last week and others easier to trust
- MEPHISTO DU CLOS – Ran 7th in a harness Class B at Rambouillet over 2,800m on 20 September when being conditioned for this. Has never disappointed in the day’s configuration and could pleasantly surprise
- MANASLU – Debuts in the discipline after losing his action in a 2100m Class A here a week ago. Has good speed and could make a big splash if Paul Ploquin keeps him focused
- LASKA DU LEVANT – Starts for the first time since finishing 7th in Group I Prix de Normandie over 2,850m here on 21 June. Presents solid references under these conditions and has every chance of making the frame this time
- FEUDALE DEGLI DEI – Has not been seen out since being disqualified in a Class A at Enghien over 2,875m on 18 April. Sports a fresh configuration but is still not an obvious choice
- MACK DAIRPET – Finished 4th in a harness Class B at Lisieux over 2,725m on 29 August. Boasts fine main-track credentials and, reunited with Arthur Rebèche, will be afforded every chance
Summary: If she takes to this new discipline, GUARDAMI (3) has the class to make an immediate impact, particularly with her trainer in the saddle. Another newcomer to the discipline, MANASLU (6) has shown plenty of class under harness and, sporting a new formula, will be one of the attractions of the race. LASKA DU LEVANT (7), making her comeback, and a reconfigured MACK DAIRPET (9), will be ready to pounce should either of our two favourites disappoint.

C8 – PRIX ELIANE DE BELLAIGUE – 2100m (a1m1/4) – – Harness – EUR € 12,000 - IMPERIAL MARANDAIS – Takes a notable dip in category after running 7th in a Mauquenchy Class E 3 weeks ago. Starts on the rail but, re-shod for the occasion, can begin to put things right
- IRON SPIRIT – Ran 6th in a Class E at La Capelle over 2,750m on 21 September. Has done nothing of note for some time and is not about to change his ways
- KING MOKO – Already three times a winner this summer, latterly securing a Châlons-en-Champagne Class F in good order 12 days ago. Benefits from a superb draw and can bring the fight to ISSI TOP (4)
- ISSI TOP – Finished 7th in a Class D over 2,100m of the main track on 11 September. Has a lot going for him here and from the 4 slot can impose
- JACKPOT D’ORGUEIL – Ran 7th in a Class E Apprentices’ race at Enghien over 2,150m on 26 September. Boasts excellent amateur references and from the 5 slot must be taken seriously
- ICONE PLANCHETTE – Third in a Class F Amateurs’ race at Pornichet over 2,725m on 19 September. Seldom disappoints in the amateur category and must be afforded respect
- JAWAX DE KERYANN – Ran 3rd in a Class F amateurs race over 2850m here mid-September, 6 days before being trounced under the saddle, and is not an obvious choice
- KNITULIA – Ran 6th in a Class F Amateurs’ race over 2,850m here on 15 September. Is forced to start wide and not easy to recommend
- FRINGANT PACHA – Finished 2nd in a Class F Amateurs’ race at Le Croise-Laroche over 2,700m on 14 September. Takes on a better lot this time but is still worth monitoring
- JUDICIOUS DAYDREAM – Ran fifth in a similar event here on 22 August but has twice failed to confirm and is unlikely to spice things up
- KLARCK DE VANDEL – Fifth in a Class E at La Capelle over 2,750m on 21 September. Seldom lets the side down at this level and is not about to begin now. Chance
- INTRIGUE DE VIETTE – Ran 6th in a Class E at Pornichet over 2,725m on 19 September. Disappointing in this category at Laval a fortnight earlier and others easier to back
Summary: Well-placed on the front line and partnered by the talented Sven Hoste, ISSI TOP (4) surely has the means to play a leading role in this company. KING MOKO (3) has been enjoying a fine season and even though shod still represents a leading contender. KLARCK DE VANDEL (11) excels with Sebastien Laboutique and has nothing to prove in the amateur division. JACKPOT D’ORGUEIL (5), with Arthur Raffin in the sulky, has the ability to finish close.

- AVAYA – Unplaced in a Class 4 Condition Hurdle at Compiegne over 3,400m on 9 September. After an easy victory in her penultimate race she failed badly but is better than that last run and she should do better this time
- NASHVILLE BLUES – Finished 5th in a Class 4 Condition Hurdle at Nantes over 3,500m on 14 April. He comes back from a almost 6-month break but his previous form lines have worked out well
- CLOVIS DESBROUSSES – Pulled up in a Claimer over 3,400m at Dieppe on 10 June. Has not compeleted his last two starts and needs to prove his reliablilty
- YEZALEL – Fifth in a Class 3 Condition Hurdle at Toulouse over 3,500m on 2 September. Has not been far behind the placed runners in her two starts and could stake a claim
- SCARLANA DE GREZ – Unraced 3yo filly by Beaumac De Houelle out of Turtle Bowl mare Scarla trained by Arnaud Chaillé-Chaillé. She comes from an interesting maternal line and could make a prominent debut
- NYMPHEA DU FENOIR – Unraced 3yo filly by Tunis out of Cricket Ball mare Loulia trained by Florian Bellemare. Dam won two Gr3 steeplechase races and a Listed Hurdle event
- FAVELA CHIC – Unplaced in an event for unraced runners at Auteuil on 12 September. She failed to complete the course on debut but drops in class and should be competitive
- MAYZA – Finished 7th in a Class 5 Condition Hurdle at Clairefontaine over 3,400m on 22 July. Will need to do more to feature
- LOUDEJUMI – Unraced 3yo filly by Chanducoq out of Kendargent mare Norwegian Wood trained by Ludovic Cadot. Dam has yet to produce a winner
Summary: AVAYA (1) looked really good when winning on debut but failed in her start in strong company at Compiègne. She should do better this time. Unraced SCARLANA DE GREZ (5) is well bred and could make an auspicious start to her career. NASHVILLE BLUES (2) has been rested since April but his form has been franked. FAVELA CHIC (7) should progress from her moderate debut.

- VERTIGO POMPADOUR AA – A close-up 6th in a Conditions race over 2,200m at Craon on 9 September. Fought hard in what ended up a blanket finish last time and did win this race in 2024
- MADMAX DE LASSALES AA – Ran out a 9-length winner of a Conditions race over 2,200m at Pompadour on 15 August. He won over this course and distance three runs back and must be respected
- KRIPTOGENE D’AYZA AA – Finished 6th in Conditions race over 2,200m at Pompadour on 15 August. Was well beaten by MADMAX DE LASSALES AA (3) in that race but did place in this race last year
- LASTROGENE D’AYZA AA – A moderate 9th in a Conditions race over 2,200m at Craon on 6 September. Did run 3rd in his last race at this course but does look held on form
- HINSILAYA AA – Relegated to 2nd after winning a Conditions race over 2400m at La Teste on 10 August. She veered off a straight line close home but following a victory in her penultimate start, she has to be a lively contender
- KIRIE AA – A poor 8th in a Conditions race over 2,200m at Craon on 6 September. Held by others on his last run
- HORIZON DE TANUES AA – Ran 5th in a Conditions race over 2,400m at Toulouse on 16 September. Will need to up his game to have any chance
- IDEAL DE CAJUS AA – Finished 4th in a Conditions race over 2,400m at Toulouse on 16 September. Unlikely to trouble the more fancied runners
- MAUZAC AA – A decent 2nd in a Conditions race over 2,400m at Toulouse on 16 September. Only beaten 1,5 lengths and is improving with every run
- FLINTILIE AA – A moderate 7th in a Conditions race over 2,150m at Mont De Marsan on 24 August. Her only victory was at this course and she could place
- MAGIC DREAM AA – A well-beaten 7th in a Conditions race over 2,400m at Toulouse on 16 September. That was her first run after a 395-day layoff and her jockey reported she lacked fitness, so will need to prove herself
- MADAME LABOUEYRIE AA – Finished 8th in a Conditions race over 2,400m at Toulouse on 16 September. She finished behind MAGIC DREAM AA (12) and is also likely to need another run after her 11-month break
Summary: VERTIGO POMPADOUR (2) looked the likely winner close home at Croan last time but was outpaced by four others just short on the line. This looks an ideal chance to get back into the winner’s enclosure. HINSILAYA (6) lost her last race in the Stewards room after causing interference late in the race but remains in good form. MADMAX DE LASSALES (3) continues to improve while KRIPTOGENE D’AYZA (4) also needs to be considered.

Summary: JOYEUSE DU PORTO (3) has not finished outside the first three all summer and is an obvious choice for this trip. JIMMYZ (13) is a serious performer with this starting method and should be involved once again. JOLIE MOME CHIC (6) caught the eye with a fine effort at Divonne in early August and, arriving fresh, deserves plenty of respect. The same applies to JAVA DE ROUAISSE (8), who finished second in a well-contested field at Toulouse two weeks ago.

Summary: KINGSLAYER PELLINI (9) did not have to come off the bridle to return to winning ways in late August and, with his connections clearly confident, looks the one to beat in this lucky last race. ICARE DU BERYL (12), an honourable second two weeks ago, is likely to give him plenty to think about again. At the age of 10, GREGOR (11) still retains plenty of ability and, having performed well at this course in the spring, looks the next best option alongside GEANT SARTHOIS (10), who has been prepared specifically for this race.

Her main threat could be SHABAZI (4), who has won her last two starts, the latest at Chantilly over 1600m and she is hard to rule out.
