C1 – PRIX DES BUTTES CHAUMONT – 2875m (a2m) – – Harness – EUR € 46,000
- FABIUS ORS – Ran 8th in a Class B over 2,100m at Vincennes on 7 September. Did not perform badly against stronger opposition and he might have a say in the finish
- FRISEE KB FONT – Disqualified in a Class E over 1,609m at Argentan on 8 August. He will need to keep his mind on trotting but that could be a case of hit-and-miss. If he does put it all together, he could have an impact on the outcome
- OLIVER SCHERMER – Disqualified in a Class C over 2,700m at Vincennes on 22 September. He started his career in Sweden and although his two runs at Vincennes were not good, he could be a different proposition in his first start at Enghien
- LOOK DE VALAILLES – A poor 11th in a Class B over 2,800m at Rambouillet on 20 September. He received treatment after his last start and will be using this race as a stepping-stone to a later event. Will race fully shod this time
- SOKRATES – Finished 4th in a Class E over 2,700m at Vincennes on 5 September. Another trotter trained in Germany, he finished behind BLACK HEUVELLAND (9) last time but he could reverse the form on this track
- LEAD ME ON – Finished 10th in a Class E at Vincennes over 2,100m on 11 September. He appears to have lost his form so will need to improve to have any chance
- LUCIUS DE PUCH – Finished 7th in a Class B over 2,800m at Le Croise-Laroche on 8 September. Has run well at this course and he does have excuses for his recent moderate runs. However, could be a decent outsider
- LORD ON WAY – Outclassed the opposition in a Class E at La Capelle over 2,700m on 21 September. Comes off three successive victories and even having his first run at the course should not stand in his way
- BLACK HEUVELLAND – A quality 2nd in a Class E over 2,700m at Vincennes on 5 September. Trained in Germany, he has put up some useful performances at Vincennes and should not be troubled by the flat Enghien track. A strong challenger
- LORD SUN DRALIAM – A disappointing 12th in a Class E over 2,875m at Angers on 9 September. There were excuses for his last run and if he does produce his best form, he could fight out the finish
- LONGWOOD D’HERIPRE – Unplaced in a Class B at Rambouillet over 2,800m on 20 September. He is better than that last run and the fact he has won at this track brings him into the mix
- TAURUS CROWN – Excellent runner-up in a Class D at Enghien over 2,150m on 8 August. Is in good form and is proven at this track. With driver Eric Raffin in control, he needs to be considered
- L’AS DES ISLES – Won in a Class E at Tours Chambray over 2,800m on 6 September. Another trotter in good form, he will be having his first start at Enghien but that should not pose any problems. He is definitely worth taking into account
- L’INTOUCHABLE – Disqualified in a Class F over 2,850m at Le Croise-Laroche on 8 September. Will be racing fully shod this time and the best he can hope for is to finish on the heels of the first three
Summary: LORD ON WAY (8) is in outstanding form and could quite easily notch up a fourth win in a row. He has been winning with ease and although taking on stronger, looks hard to beat. Two Germany-based trotters, BLACK HEUVELLAND (9), who will be driven by Benjamin Rochard, and SOKRATES (5), finished second and fourth at Vincennes last time, stand out. TAURUS CROWN (12) has good form at this course, while LONGWOOD D’HERIPRE (11) also need to be considered.

OSKAR WILDE (5) ran well last time and stands out as the main danger along with OLIVIO BELLO (3), who has placed in all his races so far and deserves respect. C4 – PRIX DE CHAUFOUR-NOTRE-DAME – 1950m (a1m1/4) – TURF – Class 2 – Flat – EUR € 24,700 - BLACKSKAR – Finished 4th in a Class 2 at Saint-Cloud over 2,000m on 11 September when last seen. In the mix
- NEREUS – Successful in a Maiden at Vichy over 2,000m on 21 September on his second start. Type to keep on progressing and warrants respect
- AROK ATAO – Outclassed the opposition in a Maiden at Saint-Cloud over 2,000m on 7 September when last seen. Improving and can follow up
- IPANEMA ROSE – Scored on her debut at Chantilly in a conditions race over 2000m on September 19. She will step forward from that and can make her presence felt
- ANGEL BREIZH – Won in a Maiden at Craon over 1,650m on 5 September on her latest start. She will need a few to misfire
- WHY NOT ME – Gelding by Knight To Behold, the dam won 1 race over hurdles. Expected to improve for this outing and he is best watched with the future in mind
- ERRUPTIUM – Gelding by Gutaifan, the dam won 2 races. Stable runners tend to improve for a run or two and he is best watched for the time being
- DRITA – Filly by by Blame, the dam ran once in the USA. She does not appeal as a likely first time out winner unless the betting vibes are positive
Summary: AROK ATAO (3) won well last time at Saint-Cloud and has strong claims of making it two wins from his three starts. His main threat could be NEREUS (2), who got off the mark on his second run at Vichy in a maiden late last month and looks like he can keep on progressing. IPANEMA ROSE (4) should improve from her success on her first day at school at Chantilly in a newcomers event last month and is worthy of consideration. BLACKSKAR (1) is also worth keeping onside.

- TRUE TIME – Ran well when 4th on his sole start at Angers over 1600m in a conditions race on September 21. Hard to overlook
- COLCHESTER – Came home 4th in a Maiden at Compiegne over 1,800m on 15 September on his only run. He can step forward from his debut and be involved
- SLIDING WAY – Finished 6th in a Maiden at Vichy over 2,000m on 21 September on his sole start. He has work ahead to make the frame
- KOHANA CHOP – Gelding by Muhaarar, the dam was unraced in France. Some good aspects to his pedigree and he is worth a market inspection
- LIKER – Colt by Johhny Barnes, the dam won 5 races. His trainer is not renowned for producing many first time out winners and he is best watched for now
- MADH’WORLD – Colt by Madhmoon, the dam was placed once. He is one to watch in the betting exchanges for any market interest
- GALADIN – Gelding by Anodin, the dam won 3 races. Stable runners on debut are normally well prepared. The betting can be the best guide
- VLATY’LEZ – Colt by Robin Du Nord, the dam won 3 races. He does not appeal as a likely winner on his racecourse bow unless the betting patterns are positive
- TESTIRIVER – Gelding by Ebro River, the dam was placed several times. Faces a stiff task on debut and he will likely need this run for experience
- FLINTSH DU GROHO – Colt by Flintshire, the dam ran twice. Nice profile and from a respected trainer. He can have a say on his racecourse bow
Summary: TRUE TIME (3) ran with promise on his debut at Angers when he was fourth late last month. With progress expected he will know what is required this time and is given the nod over COLCHESTER (4), who got the hang of things late on on his debut when he was fourth at Compiegne in a maiden event in mid-September. PICCOLO ANGELO (2) has plenty of experience and arrives after a solid effort when second at Saint-Cloud in a handicap on September 25 over 1600m. This step up in distance can bring out more progress. FLINTSH DU GROHO (12) looks good on paper and is one to pay attention to in the betting on his debut.

Summary: ROSTAK (2) was a fair fourth on his latest start in a Class 2 race at Chantilly in late September and he is the tentative selection ahead of FEELGOOD (10), who has been in top-form with two wins recently and the hat-trick is on the card’s. STAR OF HOPE (9) has acquitted herself well in three starts and has a good bit more to come. She can have a say, as can BALAKIREV (1), who won on debut and was not disgraced on his second start in a Class 2 race early last month at La Teste.

- LEOPARDUCCIO – Won in a Class 3 Handicap at Chantilly over 1,600m on 23 September on his last start. Can be on the premises
Summary: AZIMUTS (5) has a good opportunity of following up on his latest success at Longchamp in a Class 3 race in mid-September. His main threat could be MARKUS (3), who was a decent second in a claimer at Le Lion D’Angers in September when last appearing. LEOPARDUCCIO (10) gained a confidence boosting win at Chantilly late in September in a Class 3 handicap and can not be excluded. KER WELEN (6) is also worthy of a mention.

- FERDY – Four unplaced runs this year, the latter over 1400m at Clairefontaine on July 6 in a handicap. Looks to be of limited talent
- HAPP’INES – Finished 8th at Clairefontaine over 1800m in a claiming race on August 29 when last seen. Makes limited appeal
- PERSIAN HEROE – Well beaten in 7th on his last start at Dieppe over 1800m in a handicap when last appearing. Look elsewhere
- WIL’DREAM – He has not troubled the judge in several runs, 8th at Saint-Cloud on September 11 in a handicap over 1400m. Opposable
- BEST SISTER – Back in 6th at Sable Sur-Sarthe on her latest start over 1650m in a claiming race on September 20. One to avoid
Summary: In a race that lacks depth, it may pay to side with EXCESSIVE (10) who has several placed runs this year and can not be ignored off a competitive racing weight. BUDOKAN (1) has to concede weight to all of his rivals and he can bounce back from a slightly below par run last time. SOCIANDO (5) is one for the each-way backers to take seriously, as is WESTMINSTER COYOTE (3), who ran well to be fourth on his latest start at Dieppe in September.

Summary: DEUX PONTS (2) has found handicaps beyond him but can regain confidence at this lower level. He will not have things all his own way, however, with STRATOVULCANO (3) having performed very well at this course during the summer. If adapting to the surface, RUE RECAMIER (5) should have a say in the battle for top honours. MONARCO (1) is a tough colt who should not be underestimated either.
