R1 VINCENNES [L-H]
C1 – PRIX GORDONIA – 2850m (a2m) – – Mounted – EUR € 90,000
- JAG MAHCATH – Disqualified in a Class A at Argentan over 2,875m on 23 September, a fortnight after having won a Laval Class D. Has yet to deliver under these conditions but is useful when focused and cannot be ruled out
- KAYA DREAM – Disqualified in a Class B over 2,175m here on 29 September. Has looked decidedly ordinary for some time and is not a concern
- JUPITER DE PLAY – Finished 3rd in a Class B at Vincennes over 2,175m on 29 September. Has already won a Gr.3 this term and, while not a priority, can still challenge for a first-five payout
- GOOD GIRL MARCEAUX – Unplaced in a harness Class B at Feurs over 2,850m on 7 September when preparing for this. Is out of her depth at this level though
- INSHORE – Disqualified in a harness Class B at Craon over 3,500m on 28 September. Is the weakest link in this chain and has no realistic chance
- HEURISTIQUE – Unplaced in a Group III under these conditions on 20 September. Is confirmed at this level but others still preferred
- INDIGO DE FONTAINE – Fourth in Group III Prix Georges Dreux over course and distance on 20 September. Did not enjoy the best of trips that day but can impose this time if Alexandre Abrivard keeps him out of trouble
- JAZZ IN MONTREUX – Finished 15th at Craon over 3,500m on 28 September when being prepared for this. Is hard to knock in this brach of the business and it is only a matter of time before he gets back in the winners’ enclosure
- HEDEN CRUZ – Finished 3rd in a Group III at Vincennes over 2,850m on 20 September, a place ahead of INDIGO DE FONTAINE (7). Retains the faith of Eric Raffin and is not incapable of imposing
- GOLD VOICE – Finished 4th in a Group II over 2,175m here on 1 September. Has defied her odds in 2 of last 3 but is not about to spring a surprise this time around
- KEENGAME – Finished 3rd in a Group II over 2,175m here on 1 September. Has nothing to prove at this level and looks main danger to INDIGO DE FONTAINE (7)
- HYMNE DU GERS – 13th of 15 when preparing for this in a harness Class B on turf late last month. Has not been at his sharpest for some time and is unlikely to shake things up
- KELLY DE BANVILLE – Ran 7th in a Group III over course and distance on 20 September. Was not the luckiest that day, will be reunited with Paul Ploquin, and should logically show improvement
- GRANIT MESLOIS – Finished 9th in a Group III over course and distance on 20 September. Goes barefoot this time but looks a minor place chance at best
- HALFA – Finished 10th in a Group III under these conditions on 20 September. Has been off the boil for some time and is not about to set off any fireworks
Summary: This should play out between INDIGO DE FONTAINE (7), clearly in rude health and reconfigured for the occasion, KEENGAME (11), impressive on her seasonal re-entry, and HEDEN CRUZ (9), who will have neither Impala De Val nor Fulton to contend with this time. JAZZ IN MONTREUX (8), who forms a formidable partnership with Pierre-Yves Verva, goes barefoot this time and will be no pushover either.

C2 – PRIX INGEBORG – 2100m (a1m1/4) – – Harness – EUR € 49,000 - KOQUERY DU BUISSON – Ran 6th in a Class D at Laval over 2,850m on 30 September. Starts in front, and always gives his best, but in this company will struggle to make his mark
- PURE STEEL – Disqualified in a Class B over course and distance on 17 September. Was going well though that day and Alexandre Abrivard will be legitimately expecting to set the record straight
- KARMA – Has been knocking at the door for some time, lastly 2nd in a Francheville Class F on 15 August. Comes here fresh and from the 3 slot will generate interest
- IMPERATUR AM – Gave a good account on Vincennes debut 3 weeks ago when 5th in a 2700m Class D. Benefits from an excellent entry and with shoes off this time can open his French account
- KOPA D’ARC – Excellent runner-up in a Class F at Les Sables D’Olonne over 2,650m on 3 September, 10 days after having run 3rd over course and distance, and must be considered a contender
- JUST BUILT – Finished 2nd in a Class F Apprentices’ race at Cavaillon over 2,525m on 18 September. Has other priorities though and can be ruled out
- KISMET – Unplaced in a Class D at Laval over 2,850m on 30 September when preparing for this. Tends to prefer these shorter trips and the draw will do his chances no disservice
- JINA FOUTEAU – Finished 11th in a Class D at Laval over 2,850m on 30 September. Is not as sharp as she was during the spring and can expect to have few takers
- DAUPHIN JOYEUSE – Returns to France after running 4th over a mile at San Siro a week ago, but still has a lot more to find
- ORLANDO YOUNG – Unplaced in a Class D over 2,850m here on 11 September. Has been allocated a tough number and is unlikely to create an upset
- WALDGEIST – 4th over 2000m at Gelsenkirchen on 27 September. Has won twice in 3 French starts and, barefoot for his Vincennes bow, must be respected
- RAGAZZA DU CHENE – Won at Enghien in July but was eliminated in next 2. Mathieu Mottier gets the nod this time but still represents a minor place chance at best
- NO TALKING YOU – Swedish import that was eliminated in an Enghien Class D on French debut 11 days ago. Has pulled a tough number and even though re-shod, is not a priority
- QUINTUS TOOMA – Ran 4th in a Class B over course and distance 3 weeks ago, at 108-1. Will go shod this time and can be passed over
- UTAH SOUTHWIND – Successful in a Class D at Villeneuve Sur Lot over 2,625m on 30 August. Is in considerably better company this time and the draw does nothing to help
- TRETIAK – Gave a fine account on French debut when second in a 2875m Argentan Class E on 23 September. Will have come on for the run and should not be far from the action if Damien Bonne successfully negotiates the start
- ONE LOVE BIANCA – Has not been seen out since running 4th in a Class E at Le Croise-Laroche over 2,825m on 20 May. Shoes on and no threat
- I CAN WIN GARDENIA – Makes 2nd Vincennes appearance after running 4th in an Enghien Class D on 28 September. Was somewhat unlucky that day, will be partnered by David Thomain on this occasion, and despite the draw is worth keeping an eye on
Summary: It is not easy to separate PURE STEEL (2), who can bring home the bacon if he negotiates the final turn better than he did three weeks ago, IMPERATUR AM (4), barefoot for just his 2nd Vincennes run, KOPA D’ARC (5), who always runs his race, and a barefoot KISMET (7) who has been specifically prepared for this. TRETIAK (16) ran well at Argentan on his French debut and is competitive despite a second-row draw.

C3 – PRIX LUCINA – 2850m (a2m) – Class C – Harness – EUR € 53,000 - LIL BOSS ONLY – Fifth in a Class D at Pornichet over 2,725m on 19 September. Is one of the more consistent horses here must be afforded respect
- LAPS GEDE – Finished 6th in a Class D at Pornichet over 2,725m on 19 September. Presents decent Vincennes credentials but is taking on too much this time
- LAUSSAC DU BUISSON – Finished 9th in a Class D under these conditions on 25 September. Is better racing right-handed though and at this level will have nothing to offer
- LICAR SOMOLLI – Disqualified in a monte Class D at Laval over 2,850m on 30 September. Runs here for a change of scenery and poses no danger
- LOOKING D’AURCY – Has not been seen out since finishing unplaced in a Class B over 2,700m here on 27 February and will need the run
- LUCKY MESLOIS – Suffered traffic problems when 9th in a Class C over 2,700m here on 18 September. Is clearly a serious trotter and in the hands of Gabriele Gelormini will be no soft touch. Chance
- LUNIK DU CHOQUEL – Fourth in a Class D over course and distance on 25 September. Faces a much stiffer task this time and is unlikely to upset the status quo
- LE BIEF – Finished 2nd in a Class D at Les Sables D’Olonne over 2,650m on 26 August. Runs seldom but mostly to good effect and, confirmed under these conditions, is unlikely to let the side down
- LUMINEUX – Finished 5th in a monte Class C over 2,700m here on 22 September. Is here for reasons of conditioning and can be passed over
- LIKE MESLOIS – Good runner-up in a Class C at Vincennes over 2,700m on 18 September. Is plainly close to his race and it is just a matter of time before he gets his head back in front
- LIQUIDATEUR – Disqualified in last two, the latest a Class C at Vincennes over 2,700m on 18 September. Is significantly better than his formcard would suggest and should not be overlooked
- LUCKY DE CALVI – Runner-up, on comeback, in a Class D at Pornichet over 2,725m on 19 September. Has been simply superb since moving to the Vaubert yard and will be reunited with Eric Raffin who won with him at Pornichet in July
- LETIKALIN – Finished 8th in a Class B at Le Croise-Laroche over 2,800m on 28 September, a fortnight after having run 3rd under similar conditions. Reliability not his strong suit and others easier to support
- LORDIUS – Won a Class B at Rambouillet over 2,800m on 20 September, just over 2 weeks after running 3rd in a Class D over course and distance. Has form with Thibaut Dromigny but looks a minor place prospect at best
- LOCO FLIGNY – Finished 8th in a Class C over 2,700m here on 18 September. Has 2 races under his belt since the spell and, if applied, can get in on the action
- LE MAESTRO – Nicely-engaged type returning to the capital after running 2nd in a Toulouse Class C 3 weeks ago, but appears to be out of his depth this time
- LOOK MESLOIS – Ran 6th in a Class C over 2,700m here on 18 September, a fortnight after having imposed under these conditions. Benefits from a terrific entry and is easy to like for the win
Summary: Pierre Belloche attacks in force here with LOOK MESLOIS (17), who could not be better-engaged, LUCKY MESLOIS (6), not so lucky here three weeks ago, and LIKE MESLOIS (10), who has been going about his business in very good order. LUCKY DE CALVI (12) is a veritable metronome and will try to provide them with some opposition, along with the tricky but reconfigured LIQUIDATEUR (11).

C4 – PRIX HERA – 2850m (a2m) – Class C – Harness – EUR € 68,000 - IGLOO DE BEAULIEU – Disqualified in a Class G at Mauquenchy over 2,850m on 10 September. Is the least-productive horse in the field and will be expected to prove the point
- HEAVEN D’ECAJEUL – Runner-up, at 31-1, at La Capelle over 2,750m on 21 September. Has placed just once in 6 starts over the Vincennes main track and can be passed over
- HORACIO DE CERISY – Fifth, at 142-1, in a Class E over 2,100m here on 20 September. A repeat, however, seems most improbable
- HISTORY MAJYC – Finished 7th in a Class E Apprentices’ race at Amiens over 2,400m on 19 September. Has little love for Vincennes and can be passed over
- JYTRACE DE HOUELLE – Disqualified, when clearly full of running, in a Class D over 2,700m here on 2 October. Will be fully-fit by now and can win this if focused
- JANNIG D’EREVAN – Runner-up in a Class F at Nantes over 3,000m on 25 September. Has been excelling in his current configuration and with Damien Bonne back in the bike looks a serious player
- IZIJAL – Finished 9th in a Class F at Nantes over 3,000m on 25 September. Has done nothing noteworthy since the winter and is unlikely to start now
- HORIZON DU THAY – Finished 5th in a Class D at Beaumont-De-Lomagne over 2,400m on 14 September, 3 weeks after having imposed at Castera-Verduzan. Starts in front here should not be overlooked
- INEDIT DU PAVILLON – Made little impact when 6th in a Class E at Abbeville a fortnight ago. Is out of his league in this field and will have nothing to contribute
- IRISH NICE ELGE – Ran 3rd over course and distance in late-August, then won a 2700m Class C here 3 weeks ago. Is patently in excellent shape and will not be available at 24-1 this time
- HOVE PONT VAUTIER – Finished 15th in a Class D at Rambouillet over 2,800m on 20 September. Has been out of sorts since June 2025 and will have few, if any, friends
- INHERIT – Ran 6th at La Capelle over 2,750m on 21 September. Had run 3rd the previous month in a Class A on turf and cannot be ruled out
- I STILL LOVING YOU – Finished 3rd at La Capelle over 2,750m on 21 September. Is seldom out of first three when focused and will justifiably garner support
- INDIEN DE FONTAINE – Won at La Capelle over 2,750m on 21 September. Has form with Eric Raffin, who takes over in the bike, and is easy to fancy for a place on the podium
- ILEO PIERJI – Ran surprise 2nd in a Craon Class B on 28 September. Is unlikely to repeat but can still pick up a first-five cheque
Summary: Unlucky over 2700m here a week ago, JYTRACE DE HOUELLE (5) faces his elders this time and starts on the front line. His driver, Mathieu Mottier, will doubtless look to get in the slipstream of the in-form JANNIG D’EREVAN (6) who will be expected to set the pace. This duo will chiefly have to fear those starting from the second line, notably IRISH NICE ELGE (10), remarkable last time against some useful six-year-olds, INDIEN DE FONTAINE (14), reconfigured and reunited with Eric Raffin, and I STILL LOVING YOU (13), always in the mix when he manages to keep his action together.

- LUNGA DES BROUSSES – Disqualified in a Class C over 2,700m here on 20 September, after having pleasantly surprised across town, but is unlikely to set off any fireworks this time
- LA FORMIDABLE – Successful at Avenches over 3,000m on 12 September. Has placed just once in 4 Vincennes runs though and others easier to back
- LOUNA DU LOCHEUR – Ran 7th, on comeback, in a Class B at Rambouillet over 2,800m on 20 September. Will have come on for the run and can play a role if Didier Brohier keeps her focused
- LAMIE DU MESNIL – Disqualified in a Class B at Rambouillet over 2,800m on 20 September. Has 2 races under her belt but others still preferred
- LITTLE ITALY – Disqualified in a Class C over 2,700m here on 20 September. Is not as sharp as she was this time last year but is in sufficiently good form to make the first five
- LOLA DU CAMPUS – Finished 5th in a Class C over 2,700m here on 20 September. Is unlikely to be sent out at 60-1 this time but is unlikely to be as competitive either
- LAMATTA – Finished 4th in a Class C over 2,700m here on 20 September, a fortnight after having imposed at Feurs. Is seldom far from the action and this looks to be no exception
- LYANA D’ARC – Finished 3rd in a Class D over 2,100m here on 24 August. Has been knocking at the door and, with Eric Raffin in the bike, can bring the fight to LOU DU DONJON (10)
- LOU DU DONJON – Disqualified in last two, the latest a Class C over 2,700m here on 20 September. Has bags of ability though, has already won for her driver, and with application can wrap this up
- LEA D’ATOUT – Finished 10th in a Class C at Enghien over 2,150m on 9 July. Has not raced since and will have few takers
- LETTRE D’AMOUR – Has not been seen out since finishing unplaced in a Class B at Enghien over 2,875m on 27 April. Races shod for comeback and can be ruled out
- LADY BIRD JENILAT – Disqualified in a Class C over 2,700m here on 20 September. Benefits from an excellent entry but chances still appear limited
Summary: Winner of 3 in a row here last winter, all over different distances, LOU DU DONJON (10) can win this if she keeps trotting. LYANA D’ARC (9) has been a model of consistency and is clearly close to her race. Winner here 3 weeks ago LIPA STAR (1) is easy to recommend, as is LAMATTA (8), who has not put a foot out of place since May.

- KAMIL VAN HALBEEK – Complicated type but has ample ability. Is barefoot for his debut for the Bridault yard and with Mathieu Mottier reining must be considered a player
- KASSAV DE FRECA – Made it 2 for 3 when successful in a Class E at Auch over 2,800m on 7 September. Benefits from a good draw and even though in better company should give an honest account
- KROONER D’ORION – Victorious in a Class F at Toulouse over 2,150m on 18 September. Seen more often than not racing clockwise but has decent left-handed references and can play a small part
- KASPER FAC – Showed improvement when 2nd in a Class F at Le Touquet on 20 September, however at this level is unlikely to spice things up
- KEOPS DE JUMILLY – Finished 9th in a Class F at Savenay over 3,100m on 27 September, his first start since June. Is barefoot this time but others still preferred
- KUZCO – Disqualified in a Class D at Nimes over 2,750m on 26 September. Has otherwise been in fine shape but at this level will have little to contribute
- KEOPS BEGONIA – Disqualified in a Class D at Beaumont-De-Lomagne over 2,550m on 14 September. Has form at this level but will first need to reaffirm
- KAVALO BELLO – Unplaced, on comeback, in a Class E Apprentices’ race at Argentan over 2,875m on 23 September. Will have improved for the run, races barefoot this time, and can get in on the action if his driver defies the wide draw
- KAISER DE MORTREE – Unplaced in a Class G Amateurs’ race over 2,850m here on 29 September. Has struggled since returning to competition and can be passed over
- KIDAM DU METZ – Has not been seen out since being disqualified in a Class D at Enghien over 2,875m on 11 July and is not a concern
- KRONOS MADRIK – Finished 4th in a Class D Apprentices’ race at Laval over 2,650m on 24 September. Is not ideally-drawn but will be entrusted to Alexandre Abrivard and is unlikely to disappoint
- KING HEUVELLAND – Successful in a Class G Amateurs’ race at Le Croise-Laroche over 2,825m on 30 September, his first start since January. Takes on a better lot this time, has pulled a 2nd line number, but will have improved for the run and could well repeat
- KAISER VRIE – Disqualified in last two, the latest a Class E at Vincennes over 2,700m on 2 October. Is undefeated in 2 starts over course and distance though and can make it three provided Damien Bonne successfully navigates the start
Summary: One of the more open races of the evening. KAISER VRIE (14), who puts his unbeaten record over course and distance on the line, recent winners KAIROS DE BOMO (1) and KING HEUVELLAND (13), KAMIL VAN HALBEEK (2), barefoot for the first time and entrusted to Mathieu Mottier, are all in with a realistic shout.

C7 – PRIX EDMOND HENRY – 2700m (a1m1/2) – Gr2 – Mounted – EUR € 120,000 - LELIA FRANCE – Second in a Class C over course and distance on 25 September. Takes a notable hike in category though and will struggle to make her presence felt
- LASKA DU LEVANT – Fifth in a Class B over course and distance on 2 October. Is confirmed at this level but others still easier to back
- LEMON FLEURY – Finished 3rd to LISBONNE DRY (7), on comeback, in a Group II over 2,850m here on 12 September. Seldom disappoints for his trainer, will have progressed for the race, and can impose this time
- LAMBADA DU GOUTIER – Victorious in a Class A at Argentan over 2,875m on 23 September, just her second start back. Has already lifted a Gr.2 here this year and, although unlikely to impose, must be taken seriously
- LAKANA DE FELLIERE – Finished 2nd to LISBONNE DRY (7) in a Group II over 2,850m here on 12 September. Is unlikely to repeat, but can still get in on the action
- LIBERTE DU GOUTIER – Finished 4th to LISBONNE DRY (7) in a Group II over 2,850m here on 12 September. Has 2 races in her since the spell and can make the frame this time
- LISBONNE DRY – Authoritative winner of a Group II over 2,850m here on 12 September, her first success since May 2025, but a similar performance would see her double up
Summary: Convincing winner of the Gr.2 Prix Hervé Ceran-Maillard here last month, LISBONNE DRY (7) will have to be wary of LEMON FLEURY (3), who is barefoot this time, and LIBERTE DU GOUTIER (6), a Gr.2 winner under these conditions in May.

- NIOSCO RED – Victorious in a Class D over 2,200m here on 9 June. Has not been seen out since, has no main-track references, and can be passed over
- NOBLESSE JISCE – Finished 5th in a Class B over 2,700m here on 25 September. Has not won for some time but is consistently in the thick of things and will not be going home empty-handed
- NINIO DE MALAC – Fourth in a Class B over 2,700m here on 20 September. Is not the easiest of horses to use but the nature of his latest run augurs well for his prospects. Claim
- NOORDZEE – Nicely-bred filly that won a Class D over 2700m here in August before running 6th in a Class B a fortnight ago. Is never the easiest to gauge but, given the chance, can finish in the mix
- NAPOLEON DE GAGOU – Disqualified in a Class B at Vincennes over 2,700m on 20 September, after having imposed at La Capelle earlier in the month. Mathieu Mottier takes over and will be eager to put things right. Attention
- NATIWHEL – Disqualified, on re-entry, in a Class B over 2,700m here on 20 September. Has ample ability but stays shod and will need the race
- UNO TURBO – Serious Belgian colt making French debut in excellent shape. Matthieu Abrivard in the bike this time but still appears to be taking on too much
- NASHIRA RUSCINO – Finished 5th in a Class C at Enghien over 2,875m on 1 July. Has not been seen out since and even with pads fitted is not an obvious choice
- CHECK THIS GARDE – Complicated but talented colt making French bow after being disqualified at San Siro 3.5 weeks ago. Anthony Barrier in the bike this time and will not be far off the mark if he keeps his charge trotting
- NOVA JOSSELYN – Finished 13th in a Class C at Enghien over 2,150m last Monday. Is still being conditioned and best to keep one’s powder dry
- UNDER PRESSURE – Won 4 from 5 before coming 3rd at Mons 3 weeks ago. Is competitively-shod for the first time and, despite the hike in category, still looks competitive for minor honours
- IZOARD AS – Made it 6 for 6 when winning over 2200m at Hamburg-Bahrenfeld on 20 September. Excels with his driver and looks a serious proposition on French debut
- ISMAELE – Starts for the first time, and makes French bow, after running 7th over 2100m at Santi Cosma e Damiano on 21 July. Has not raced since and is not about to spice things up
Summary: There are plenty of possibilities. NINIO DE MALAC (6), who finished strongly here late last month, the unbeaten and reconfigured IZOARD AS (15), NAPOLEON DE GAGOU (8), with his trainer back in the bike, and NOBLESSE JISCE (5), unlucky here a fortnight back, can be considered ahead of Italian import CHECK THIS GARDE (12) who sports 4 pads for his French debut.

Summary: KOOL CRISTAL (1) has an excellent record in amateur races and stands out in this field. This is a great chance to claim another victory although he does not have an easy starting position. JUAN LES PINS (2) loves this course and is the runner most likely to challenge the selection. KEEP COOL (7) will be racing unshod and that means his connections believe he is ready to shine. - LES REGATES – Filly by Gengis, the dam won 3 races. Stable runners tend to need a few runs to reach full fitness and she is best watched on her racecourse bow
- WOOTIQUE – Filly by Wootton Bassett, the dam won 1 race in Ireland. Stable runners warrant respect and she is one to monitor in the betting for clues
Summary: SHUNSHOKU (13) was a good second on her debut over 1600m at this track last month and she will know what is required this time. She can edge this over the choice bred CANDIZAL (14), who is out of top-class mare Candarliya, who won Listed, Group 3 and Group 2 races and was placed in a Group 1. FOREST GALORE (6) has made the frame on all bar one of his five starts and is one to consider each-way. LORD LINDETH (5) is also worth attention after a couple of unplaced runs, as he looks like he can improve with more race experience.
