- INITIALE LILA – Finished 8th in a harness Class E at Argentan over 2,875m on 23 September. Seldom disappoints in this branch of the business, has a particular liking for Caen, and is very hard to ignore
- IZIASLAV TEK – Runner-up, on monte bow, in a Class E Apprentices’ race at Cabourg over 2,750m on 3 October. Charline Blaizot keeps the ride but is not a priority

- KATCHINA FOR CLARA – Finished 3rd in a Class D at Feurs over 2,850m on 16 September. Excels in her current configuration and will be reunited with Mathieu Mottier. Chance
- IROKO DU LOIR – Finished 3rd in a Class D at Vincennes over 2,175m on 5 September. Is as good racing right-handed as left- and is unlikely to be far off the mark
- HOTKATISSIME – Starts for the first time since finishing 8th in a Class D at Laval over 2,850m on 19 August and has no possible chance
- JUBLA VIKING – Finished 7th in a Class D at Laval over 2,850m on 10 September. Stays shod this time and best to keep one’s powder dry
Summary: JUST BIRD (5), in cracking form, KANSAS DU HOCTI (6), barefoot and bidding for a sixth win of the year, and KATCHINA FOR CLARA (10), hard to knock at present, will need to be wary of the reconfigured INITIALE LILA (2) who will be entrusted to Alexandre Abrivard for her return to the code.

- MARIANNA – Produced 3 straight sanctions before being pulled-up in a Vincennes Class D a fortnight ago and will have few friends
- MY LOVELY LADY – Finished 4th in a Class D at Vincennes over 2,700m on 18 September. Has been knocking at the door for some time and, with David Thomain in the bike, can impose

- MANON DU CHENE – Ran 7th in a Class E at Saint Malo over 2,950m on 11 August. Comes here fresh, starts in front, and with Benjamin Rochard reining should not be far from the action

- MOLLY WHITE – Out of the picture in last 7 starts. Would have better prospects in the other code and can be ruled out
- MISS SPEED – Switches code after being disqualified in two straight under the saddle. Goes barefoot for the first time, has form here, and despite the draw should not be underestimated
Summary: Maxime Bézier has a strong hand with MY LOVELY LADY (4), who is due a win one of these days, and MINDIE DES PRES (1), ideally-entered at the limit of earnings. MAGABYLOU (5) returns to the provinces with a good hand to play and may just be a marginally better bet than the latter. MONEY DU CHATELET (11), provided she remains focused, and MANON DU CHENE (6), partnered by Benjamin Rochard, can be considered next.

Summary: Winner at Angers a month ago, MALIBU (6) goes barefoot this time and can double up if he stays in stride. MAN ON THE MOON (13) has plenty of ability, has been reconfigured and, on good behaviour, will lead the opposition alongside the returning but well-positioned MAFIOSO DREAM (4), a winner here in May, and MIRAGE DU CAIEU (7), who is bidding to maintain his unbeaten record with Franck Ouvrie.

- KALITA D’HENINEL – Has not been seen out since running fifth in a Class D at Lisieux over 2,725m on 15 July and is going to need the race
- IL PLEUT BERGERE – Fifth in a Class D at Amiens over 2,400m on 5 September. Faces a much stiffer challenge on this occasion and is unlikely to repeat

- JUDY MATIDY – Finished 9th in a Class E at Redon over 2,950m on 6 September. Has been below-par since placing at Amiens in late-July and can be passed over

- KAPTAIN DU LIAMONE – Victorious in a Class C at Toulouse over 2,950m on 25 September. Benefits from a good entry on the second row but sports pads this time and looks a minor place chance at best
Summary: After a mixed first half of the year, HORUS DE VAL (1) is clearly now back at his best. Runner-up last time here, he is easy to like for the win. With a good turn of foot and partnered by Yoann Lebourgeois who is always a force at Caen, KASSYA (2) will lead the opposition alongside KALINE DU LOCHEUR (4) who makes her Caen bow on a four-timer. KNOCKONWOOD (9) is seldom far from faulting but will be no pushover if Robin Lamy can keep him focused. KASH DES CAILLONS (10) enjoys a good entry on the front row and in current form is easy to recommend.

- LITTLE KING – Victorious in a Class F at Villedieu Les Poeles over 2,800m on 13 September. Sprang something of a surprise that day and a repeat seems unlikely
- LEADER BEACH – Finished 9th in a Class D at Chateaubriant over 3,000m on 13 September. Has otherwise been in decent shape but cannot be considered a priority
- LOTUS JIEL – Made it 2 in a row when successful in a Class E Apprentices’ race at Chalons-En-Champagne over 2,625m on 20 September. Is new to the venue but is nicely-entered and, in race-mode this time, can make a big splash
Summary: LET’S GO SAUTREUIL (5), whose recent comeback at Vichy was much better than it looks on paper, LIEUTENANT COLUMBO (6), who reassured at Vincennes two weeks ago, LOTUS JIEL (16), in top form, re-shod, and well-entered, and LUDO PAROYO (12), unlucky last time out, can be considered ahead of LAFAYETTE DU BOURG (2) who will be barefoot for his first objective of the autumn.

- NINJA DE L’ENVOL – Runner-up in a Group II at Vincennes over 2,700m on 11 September. Is already a Gr.1 winner himself though, and is not incapable of exacting revenge
Summary: Winner of this race last year, Simon Rousselle will bid to retain his title with NIKITA DES CHARMES (12) who recently imposed by a wide margin from NINJA DE L’ENVOL (16), winner of the Gr.1 Prix d’Essai in June. - NACHYMA BERRY – Finished 10th, on comeback, in a Group III at Vincennes over 2,700m on 27 September. Is still in conditioning-mode and best to hold off
- NAPOLITANO VERO – Opened his 2026 account when successful in a Claimer at Vire over 2,800m on 20 September. Takes on a superior lot this time but has been reconfigured and with François Lagadeuc reining should hold his own
