    Summary: The progressive NO MAN’S LAND (6) and NALIANO D’ECHAL (4) both recorded impressive victories over this course last time out and look set to renew their rivalry for top honours. NAVY SEAL (12) is another with significant scope for improvement and has the ability to make life difficult for the leading pair. Among the fillies, the ultra-consistent NYASSA DAXEL (13) and NIKITA DU MOUTHIEU (2), who races with front shoes removed, have the ability to make their presence felt.

    Summary: This is a wide open contest. Partnered by a driver currently enjoying an excellent run of form, MALKO MESLOIS (4) could well get his head in front and is given a tentative vote. However, he faces plenty of challenges, notably with MISTER MOUROTAIS (13) who comes in the race on the back of a recent cosy success, MISTRAL POURPRIX (7) who is the pick of the lot for top-driver Éric Raffin, and MUST DE VILLARD (11), a sound winner of his comeback run.

    Summary: LOVELY WILMA (7) produced an eye-catching late surge to finish a strong second earlier this month and, with a flawless record of never finishing worse than fourth at this venue, she makes plenty of appeal. LEADERBOARD (4) impressed with his performances at Vincennes during the spring and, having secured a favourable draw behind the car-start, is expected to bounce back from his latest disappointment. Gifted but not always straightforward, LINNA DE VANDEL (3) has the ability to fight out the minor honours. LUCIFER DU PONT (12), a previous Group 3 placegetter, appears to be returning to peak form. LADY BIRD JENILAT (5), who finished just behind the selection last time out, also holds sound claims.

    Summary: I LOVE JOSSELYN (4) produced a devastating display over this course last time out and now benefits from the services of Éric Raffin. With everything looking very much in his favour, he stands out as the clear favourite. The main dangers appear to be IDOLE ELDE (5), who has thrived since teaming up with Mathieu Mottier, and the progressive HOLLYWOOD BOND (3), who arrives in excellent form. IDEFIX JIHEM (13) also commands respect despite the disadvantage of a draw on the second-row.

    Summary: Back in action for the first time since his disqualification in the Elitloppet Final, INEXESS BLEU (11) has a few questions to answer on his return to competition. Nevertheless, he remains an exceptional horse and gets the vote as the one they all have to beat. The powerful six-year-old generation is ready to test him, headed by defending champion KOCTEL DU DAIN (10). KRACK TIME ATOUT (8) and  KEEP GOING (7) are two other major players judged on their very best form.

    Summary: MILTON DU NOYER (5) has maintained a flawless record this season and lines up with a new shoeing configuration for the first time. Given his current form, he deservedly earns the vote as the one to beat. That said, victory is far from a foregone conclusion, with the highly talented MELLOW SPEED (8) and MARINELLA VRIE (9) both capable of mounting a serious challenge. MILA DES COUPERIES (2) is well positioned to capitalize on any weakness among the principals and appeals as an intriguing candidate.

    Summary: JOKER DE FROULAY (5) enjoyed an excellent spring campaign and is expected to make a bold bid following a short break. If resuming where he left off, he should play a leading role. However, IMELDA (9), who finished ahead of him when winning over this course in mid-April, has every chance of following up and looks his main rival. Among the remainder, HAIDA SAUTONNE (13), partnered by Benjamin Rochard, and INSTANT GRAVE (7), who arrives at the top of his game, have the credentials to make their presence felt in what promises to be a competitive affair.

    Summary: The visiting mares PERFECT (6), who was narrowly defeated at this course last time, and the highly consistent YES PLEASE (9) look set to dominate this contest reserved to females. PERFECT (6) went down by the narrowest of margins over this course last time out, while the ultra-consistent YES PLEASE (9) once again brings a rock-solid profile to the race.

  3. SWIFT MAGIC – Fifth in a Class 2 at Chantilly over 1,600m on 24 June 2026 and a win previously in a maiden over the same track and trip in May. Key chance
  4. TAKERYA – Finished 6th in a Group 3 at Saint-Cloud over 2,100m on 17 April 2026, and 3rd in a Class 2 before that in March. Merits consideration
  5. SUNDARA – Fourth in a Class 2 at Longchamp over 2,000m on 9 July 2026 and a win before that in a maiden in February. Has work to do to trouble the principles
    Summary: SENEQUE (2) has more than enough talent to take a race of this nature. He has been consistent in Class 2 races on his last four starts and can be too smart for SWIFT MAGIC (3), who won his maiden in early May and acquitted himself well in a Class 2 race in late June on his latest start. BASHA (1) won with a good deal of authority in his maiden win at Aix Les Bains 18 days go and warrants respect stepping up in class.

    Summary: NIDZA DE REVE D’OR (1) posted a promising debut run at Lignières with a strong late burst and is racing barefoot for the first time. With natural improvement expected, she looks capable of taking another step forward to get off the mark. Highly rated by his connections, NUN WARRIOR (3) also caught the eye with a strong finishing effort on her latest outing and is expected to play a leading role. NOVEL DU MONT (9) qualified well in Italy and rates as a solid contender in this line-up. NEMROD GEDE (4) merits consideration despite returning from a layoff.

  63. JUMPER – Has some fair form and finished fifth at Mons over 2,840m on 9 April. Returns from a break but does well for this driver and is not out of it
  64. JURDIG LESMELCHEN – Disqualified last time out over this course and distance on 10 July. Hard to trust but can make the frame when smart
  65. KAP PAASLOO – Disqualified in three of last four starts, including last time out in Class F at Saint-Galmier over 2000m on 21 July. Not easy to trust but can score when smart
  66. INUITS D’EM – Finished 7th in a Class G Apprentices’ race at Marseille-Borely over 3,000m on 19 June. Has only been moderate of late and more is needed to score

  70. KING GIORGIO – Has soe fair form and was not disgraced when fifth in a Class H at Avignon over 2,650m on 4 July. Might play a minor role
  71. JUNINHO SPORT – Disqualified last time out in Class G over this course and distance on 17 July. Not easy to trust and others are preferred
  72. JOIE DU GUELIER – Finished 8th in a Class G Amateurs’ race at Hyeres over 2,850m on 12 July. Needs to do more to beat these rivals
  73. KLASSIC DE SYVA – Not disgraced when third in a Class F at Hyeres over 2,650m on 12 July. Has a place chance this course and distance
    Summary: KAP PAASLOO (6) sets the standard on the back of his impressive success over this very course on July 10. If reproducing that level of form, he will take all the beating. JOLIE COSTARDIERE (2) switches drivers but has the credentials to play a leading role in this grade and should be involved in the finish. JUMPER (4) heads into the race with tplenty of backup from his connections. KING GIORGIO (11) appeals as an attractive outsider, judged on his best efforts, and can spring a surprise if recapturing his best form.
